Interesting concept, the graphics are very well done and the music achieves a dark ambience that is very appropriate for the situation.

Thanks for this submission :)

Also I think that is the first game for now that I play that used Unreal (I have seen Unity, plain Javascript and Godot), I'm curious about how easy is to create games with this engine, was it a good experience?

Good feeling, and good graphics, it looks like a hd version of the old game das-uberleben.

Cool visual !

@muriel Thank you for your comment! Yeah, it is not common to develop in Unreal because it's kind of an OP engine for jams.. I had alraedy decided to go for it, and I can say that if you know the engine a little, it can be as good experience as with any other.

@becher I didn't know the game, it's so cool! That idea... had to be done before. Nothing new nowadays! xD

The graphics are super cool.

Really loved the idea here. The concept seems simple. Hard to see things visually. Appreciated the fact that you could use the light to track where something was as it approached you by recalling it. I think it needs tuning but overall really awesome idea and game.

The idea of the game seemed very good to me, and the artistic style indicated to create the necessary atmosphere. The gameplay needs more work and polish more xD, but in general very good work!!

Graphics are really cool! Bit confused by how to throw the light vs recover it and the obstacles can be hard to see even with the light's glimmer. But otherwise really solid game and thought the mood was great!

Very nice mood and graphics, they are simple but with charm. The gameplay was a bit obtuse, but even that a nice game

Great mood, the visuals and ambience of the tunnel work well. Throwing the light feels intuitive but it still felt a little hard to see obstacles far away - I could only really tell that they were there and wasn't able to tell where in the tunnel was safe/dangerous. The death sound could've used a bit more punch. The feel and tone of the flight felt like a Remedy game - the mood really overrides any flaws in the moment and left me feeling positive on the experience overall.

And great pun in the title!

Nice game! I really liked the mood and the pixel filter. The sound was also appropriately tense. I felt like there wasn't enough time for me to react to obstacles, and it would've been nice to have a score of some sort, but otherwise, good entry!

Very fresh take on these infinite fallers/3d infinite runners or whatever they are called. It was quite interesting to rely on the light to detect obstacles, it felt like I was some nocturnal animal using echolocation instead of just using my eyes. Even though I was still mostly using my eyes of course. It felt like an emulation of how using echolocation could feel, maybe. The graphics are very nice and the ambient sound design is also very cool, overall a great aesthetic. Great job making the game!

I really like the graphics and audio on this one. Instead of going with a song as background noise, allowing sound effects and the hum to fill that space is a cool design. Made it feel more intense and void like. There was just a little something to be desired on the gameplay. Something to make me want to avoid things other than just not wanting to hit restart. Most of the time I just kind of felt like I was guessing. Overall, great experience. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent mood, thanks to the graphics and sounds.

I was a bit puzzled on how to use the light at first, and I still don't know what exactly RMB is doing. I was just holding/releasing LMB and it (mostly) worked somehow.

I'd say it's a bit too hard to anticipate the obstacles, and as @dandala88 mentioned, somehow I didn't have any motivation to continue falling, maybe because of the guesswork.

Overall, I like it very much because of the mood and the overall aesthetics. It's just not too interesting to me from the gameplay perspective.

Graphics look amazing and the sound design is great. The only problem is that it's really hard to dodge obstacles the light hits because I can't really see them until I'm just about to hit them. But the atmosphere is really cool and I like the effect of the light traveling down the tunnel

Everything in this game made me want to play more! I love this kind of crappy environement and the sound effect is so lovely unsetting! The gameplay is simple yet very clever! What a good jam game!
