I enjoyed messing around with this. Some of the mechanics were difficult to figure out but just as a platformer it's really well designed and you have a lot to be proud of with the visuals and sound design. A few more in-game indicators of the depth in play here would be welcome.

I love the graphics, cute and fun style! And the music was nice and cheerful. :)
However, I couldn't figure out how to enter the door in the first level. I picked the gem, tried TAB and E, jumping around, clicked everything at sight with mouse, restarted multiple times, but nothing worked. Is this the first puzzle and I'm missing something? Bummer, based on the gifs and the comments here and on Itch.io, I'd expect the game to be quite delightful. I'll redo my ratings if I get past the first level.
BTW, restarting multiple times I realized the level has some randomization - Nice!
@ilari my oh my I forgot to note the controls... it's space bar! sorry!!! on the least intuitive scheme I ever coded too ahahaha... T_T

Thanks! I was able to proceed and have re-rated your game. What a delight! And innovative! I love the mechanics. I think it has potential for a full-fledged puzzle platformer. Good job! (The toad thing is hilarious :D)
@ilari thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to do so! <3

I like the style that's started here! The movement is smooth and feels good. Would like to see where this goes if you choose to continue it!
What a heartwarming entry! Game's vibe is chill, art's on point for a relaxing experience. Music's soothing, perfect for unwinding.
Nice!

Very cool idea. It's so fun to figure out how to combine cards and to just play around with them and explore what the combinations do. The music is great too. I can't believe you created this in a compo, good job!

Interesting Idea, really cool you can combine the cards to make different sommonings, as someone pointed already, a map would have been great. good job

- Interesting game, I liked the way of customizing you summon ability, although it wasn't always entirely clear - you could spawn a floating platform from a floating platform and jump while falling to get on top of it. - I feel like the game needed a map as I felt lost and wasn't sure which areas I already explored - Most of the time I had a hard time to figure out when to use the summoning power, I don;t know if there where only a few spots or if I missed the somehow - Watering the plant takes too much water, or something weird happens with the water - Maybe make the combining area a little smaller, I never actually closed it, and even with plenty of cards I wasn't very bothered by not being able to see my character - It took me a long time to figure out the spells go in the direction of the mouse and not the character, I was using the mouse to move the cards and keyboard to move the character and summon objects, so it felt weird that the direction was governed by the mouse - Sometimes the stairs would go up to the platform but the character was not able to get on the platform and fell instead, and sometimes while on a platform it was hard to go down the stairs.
@ellaris Thanks, I appreciate the feedback! Things to consider as I tinker with the game in the coming weeks :)

I'm lost and I really need map to continue play. But finally it's really fun to figure out how to summon things.
Cute and funny graphics, overall a nice game!
Nice game! Unfortunate that there isn't an actual ending, but it was fun to explore the world. Though I mostly abused the trick where I spawn a jelly fish above me and then jump right away :')

Great Jump and Run, Puzzle, Card Game whatever! Was really nice to try out the summones and see how strong they can get! Was fun!
Discovering how to blend cards and experimenting with their interactions is incredibly enjoyable.

May be game needs some navigation (signs on platforms or smth else), system of mixing card summoning is something refreshing. Well done!
Very fun experimenting with creating new summons

I like a game thats simple to pick up. Summons are quite intresting but a little buggy (at least the ones i got). With a goal in there this would have gotten more stars from me but still I enjoyed my game time quite a bit.
Personal gripe with the game is that you cant jump with space bar :D thats just me though

Somewhat reminiscent of Himno. I had fun playing with the card recipes but I wish the world forced me to take advantage of them. I generally wouldn't recommend procedural world generation/level selection in a jam game, speaking from experience unfortunately.
Returning the favor with this gameplay video, although I'm not a fan of talking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5j_gqPcIFHo

It was a bit hard to grasp the mechanic (guess I should just watch the video beforehand ) but wow, it is a pretty interessting mechanic. In the video I saw that there are even more interplays than I noticed.
As already mentioned by others I would have wished that at least the first few screens are hand crafted and force the player to use the mechanic, but I guess you would have done that if it would have gotten out of the experimental phase. Overall still a cool entry! I especially liked the snakes
