Simple and clean! Definitely fits the theme! I really dose ramp up towards the end xD I got to 3552! I do wish there was a sort of "secondary" objective to make the early game feel less monotonous.

@turkey I agree with you there. I had plans to add little turrets that shoot at you but unfortunately time was a bit short. Thanks for the feedback!

simple but fun! Gets pretty intense as it goes on, when I did finally crash into a block I realized how hard I'd been concentrating.

I love the heavy music and red, really makes it feel like a descent into hell! Like you commented on my page, it really feels like a 3D version of what I did which maybe makes me biased, but I got stuck playing this for so long, really addictive :D It was nice to see obstacles up ahead so I could plan my movement and I got this urge to play it in VR and just dodge everything with head movements.

Great job overall!

This is just a great gamejam game. Polished and fun, with a tight concept that was executed well. I am really, like seriously, digging the music track. Little touches like the intro animation of the game title really make this feel finished. I agree with others that the early game is kinda monotonous after you're warmed up to the later speeds, but I just take that time to groove with the main track. Nicely done

I wasn't expecting this, the DOOM vibes are strong with this one! Awesome game, I really enjoyed it, I think I'll bookmarks this for later, I wanna get further than 3300 :)) Hats off! (and the music is really awesome!)

Your game is like a nightmare... in a good way! With the 1st person perspective, I feel like I'm having one of those "falling" dreams where you just can't wake up. Mixed with the music, it definitely starts to get intense. The only real beef I have with the game is that sometimes I found it hard to know if an obstacle is going to hit me. Being 1st person, I have no idea if I'm a fat sumo wrestler or a bean pole, so I never quite know if I'm going to live or die. Other than that little nit-pick, I think you did a very nice job!

Well made! Colors are very hellish, but i makes block not really distinct from bacckground. It adds challenge, but it's also a little frustrating

@fussenkuh My initial thought was to make the hitbox the same size as one 'unit' that's used in the procedural generation. That's how it is now, but there are some instances where it feels you just barely hit the edge of a block. I think it would be beneficial to reduce the square size of the hitbox just a tad bit. Otherwise, glad you liked it!

@ariorick I really wanted to keep the blocks a similar color but also knew the low contrast would cause visibility problems. To /somewhat/ get around this I used a point-light with a decently large radius to cast some yellow light on the blocks that are closer to you to give a bit of contrast. I think what I would change next is to change the fog into a color that brings out the blocks that are a bit further away. Thanks for bringing this up though, I find the contrast problem creeps up on you after it's too late in many cases. I'm glad you enjoyed it otherwise :)

The music and visuals is super good. The gameplay is simple and okay, but nothing super new. Overall a fun little jam game.

The theming with the music reminded me of doom - pretty cool. The game might be described as simple, but it's very well made and very fun, it's actually one of my favorites so far this LD. I loved how fast the game got - dodging everything at high speeds feels great. My best score was 4155 - I wonder what's the dev's best score :)? Great job overall!

@tygrak My best score is around the 6k mark! However, the difficulty does cap off around 5k so things won't get any crazier after that (though admittedly... It is pretty insane by that point)

What a challenging game! The concept is very simple, but the game gets significantly harder real quick. I was unable to beat your highscore, but I managed to score 3008 max. The concept is very addicting, so good choice on that one! Keep it up!
