Hey! I remember the unique moods of Derelict and Wellspring Wandered, so I checked to see if you had come back to LD and sure enough here you are with a new interesting experience.

This is another thoughtful game that's a change of pace from the usual - I knew I was in for something different when I had no idea what to do but a slew of buttons and status indicators to explore! You've packed so many little details into this.

Took me quite a while to clear my first ship, well over ten minutes I think, and I got a few demerits on a couple after that. But by my last docking I had the various systems all figured out and was finally doing a bit of multi-tasking. I managed to clear a ship that wanted refueling, resupply, decontamination, course calculation, and repair in a touch over 4 minutes. I was able to queue up drone moves and multitask between that step and the resupply. I'm sure it could be done much better but I felt like I earned my paycheck that time!

No wonder they promoted me.

I really liked this game seriously, very good game, the experience is interesting. Good job.

Very cool game. Impressive that all the subsystems work! I cleared two ships without a hitch. Felt so proud of myself. A lot of interesting ideas can be implemented in the future. Spot on with the audio, too.

I like this a lot. It took me a while before I realized I needed to open up the comms to get the ball rolling with the other ship, but after that I loved it. The atmosphere and world you've established made it feel like I was actually in command of a refueling space station. Was pretty neat. Good game!

The game has an impressive amount of different subsystems implemented, considering the short timeframe.

The different systems are varied and complex enough that the game is fun to play for a while, while trying to find an optimal work proces.

The simulated control panels makes the game feel very immersive, and the sounds provide a nice final touch.

A suggestion for further development, could be to introduce penalties for "risky" breaches of procedure (connecting a contaminated ship to the station, allowing ships to depart without retracting the arm, etc.)

A great simulation game - I enjoyed playing it!

Wow this is like really awesome, I like really enjoyed it. You could continue working on this and make it a full game! The only things that would make it even better for me would be the ability to rotate yourself and look around your station, making it not really 2d, but I like it already!

Really cool game ! We feel like the station manager, and there are a lot of different situations. I would like to play a full version of this game ! The graphics are great, and the interface is well designed, even if it need some time at first to understand what do what. Good entry !

Great entry, it really felt like working at a space station. Kind of reminded me of "papers please" in space.

Very fun game to play. I never played games like this before it was a new experience for me. Overall a nice game to play. Keep it up!

cole-and-jordan-studios 2016-12-17 21:33

Nice job! A little boring, but it has convincing atmosphere. It would've been nice if there was a little more feedback from the console just to get the player started; I didn't know what the point was for quite a while so it took me a while to even figure out what I was supposed to be doing. Overall, nicely done!

fuad 2016-12-17 21:38

Looks like realyy interesting, but I cannot play because it work very slow, like a slide show. But I was intrigued and want to try if it will be faster :)

uliana-galich 2016-12-17 22:00

I like your style and the game is kinda fun! hope to see other your games in future :)

explosivepowder 2016-12-18 05:39

If this were to be developed for more time than in a jam, it would turn out a great game, I really enjoyed playing it! Great job

edve98 2016-12-18 14:28

Great game, but it was a bit of a pain to play for me on my small monitor - the window was too large so I didn't see the bottom of it. I had to keep going to lower workspace to click on bottom buttons. Full screen or resizable window would have been nice :)

kddekadenz 2016-12-18 17:07

Wow, I never want to work in a space utility station once this becomes a thing.
Great game, very immersive. Can't find myself playing it for longer though. Would be cool to have some chance of personal expression as you progress. Maybe breaks to look at the stars or money to buy stuff for your station with.

mementogames 2016-12-18 17:35

Good idea, and nice implementation. I would really like to see a full game like this! You probably had to work really hard to do so much in a weekend. Good job!

raconteurnick 2016-12-19 13:24

This is fantastic! Like a few other comments said, I'd definitely play a full game of this. Really impressive work no matter what, and especially so given the time frame.

ellian 2016-12-24 22:51

Wow, very very cool game you have here. It's simple but feels well executed and surprisingly fun to play. There are a lot of options, and it's great to triple check everything to make sure you're not screwing up.
Congrats for making such an awesome thing!

theamante 2016-12-25 13:26

A great amount of work ! A fun game with great simple ideas !

flaterectomy 2016-12-25 15:03

This is a great entry, I love the depth of maintenance and utility. The theme of One Room feels slightly tacked on, but permissibly so. I kinda wish there were more outlandish sci-fi scenarios involved: smuggling requiring police intervention, etc. But it's a gamejam, so desiring more features when you've already got quite a lot packed in here is silly.

The graphics are nice and old school. Room for improvement still, but definitely good enough. The audio isn't great but suits the atmosphere of the game.

Any chance of post-LD expansion?

radmars 2016-12-26 01:59

Nice! Pretty impressive amount of features for a simulation game like this. Did 4 ships then it seemed like I saw everything there was to see. Nice work!

yuigoto 2016-12-30 05:07

Whoa, so much in this game! :O You really made a simulation game with lots of features, eh? Kinda different from most entries I've played, feels static at first, but it drags you in and it's kinda addictive!

Visuals are really well-done, background, control panel and ships, really great work there! Audio adds up to the mood in a great way, gives a real nice sci-fi feeling! :)

Controls are simple, but it's great to have'em like that! :D

I kinda didn't feel difficulty increasing, but with all the features in game, it'd be kinda difficult to squeeze everything inside! :P

Great work!

I feel lost and don't know where to start.

elmogames 2017-01-02 18:20

I see .. potential. I dindt got anything running but I see that it would play pretty intressting as a job simulator/ papers please game where you see the story of a war unfold in front of you. Sorry i am just too bad to be promontet
