Amazing. A simple idea incredibly well executed, fitting the theme... Incredible work here!

Amazing. A simple idea incredibly well executed, fitting the theme... Incredible work here!
Good game! The controls are tight... and the rock paper scissor minigame was a very nice and refreshing addition!
Awesome game. Wish there was more variety in the different levels, but damn, that was awesome.
Et un petit coucou à Stéphane le Tinois d'un cyanidien!
Awesome entry. Amazing what you managed to pull off in such a short time, this is a... well a full legit game! And it's so fun to play! Great work, really.
Super addictive too... damn! Congrats.
Super weird. I liked it though, there's that "something" in the art direction that made it compelling to play.
Very nice entry, very different from all other. Wish there were more of it, I liked it a lot!
Amazing.
The art is incredibly lovely, and the concept is quite fun. Though I'm not sure, what's the point of the sword if the enemies can't harm you when you have a shield?
Wish there was a proper ending too :(
Insane difficulty, but very well done. Good job, keep up the good work!
Hah! Very innovative, it's nice to see something different!
The physic is wonky, but it's cool and fun to play!
Eyh! This game is quite fun.
Kinda weird that you can glide in the air, but this is pretty solid gameplay. Congrats!
I don't know why exactly, but I liked that idea of a gigantic drill ahah. Well done.
Doesn't fit the theme that much, but definively that kind of addictive and simple game that works very well.
I had some glass panel not being destroyed when I hit them (but still added to the score, so I guess it's okay), but really well done anyway. :)
Very well made. Nice concept, especially how the final score is calculated. Simple and effective!
Awesome idea. Very well made. I'll definitively play this again :O
It's amazing what you managed to achieve in such low time. Congratulations! I hope you go further with this. :D
Tight controls, that's nice. Good work here!
It crashed while I was playing, but it's a really good entry. Awesome job in such a short time, and nice art. Congrats!
Wish there were different neemies, or something more likely to be underground (dinosaur bones, oil/gaz layer and such!), but a very solid entry.
Well done!
Wish there was more to do; The art is lovely, and the little details too. Great work here!
I LOST VIVIAN.
Man this game is so effin' good! Addictive, great art, great sound, amazing gameplay, incredibly simple and efficient...
Gah that was so rad! Thank you for allowing me to play this!
Very nice! Sadly I couldn't go back to the shop because I couldn't fly high enough... but this is very, very well done. Kudos!
I had to quit because I didn't know what to do with the lighter. :( Loved it though, wish I couldh ave gone further! D:
Awesome art, too.
Eh, quite cool. Very innovative, wish there was more to it-- more enemies, more way to use your power. Solid entry!
Good educational stuff here. Kudos!
Not exactly new, but enjoyable nonetheless. Good mood, definitively interesting. Good work in such short time!
Very, very fun to play. Good graphics, and the controls are exactly how you want them to be, so it's a real pleasure to play. Good job!
It's a shame you weren't able to finish it, the basic idea was very good and innovative. :(
And congratulations to your artist, this is great art.
Very, very solid entry. Took me a while to realise I could dig anywhere and not just on a vine, and there's too much momentum in the controls, but very, very good thing you've got here!
Amazing art, good sound/music.
Awesome. Awesome awesome awesome.
The graphics are cool, the way your handled the theme is cool, the gameplay quickly gets cool... Too bad there's no sound.
I hope you'll expand the idea further. Very, very solid entry. Kudos!
Awesome entry! Lovely art, good controls, and having to balance fighting and looting is nice. Too bad there isn't music...
Very good job!
Ah! Nice idea, that was refreshing. Controls could probably be better, but this is a nice, simple and effective idea. :)
The fact that the music evolves as you progress through the game is cool, and I liked how you handled difficulty by making the fish grow. And the physic of the plants was cool!
Felt like a good old nes game, I had a lot of fun. Audio could be improved, but it was refreshing!
The controls could have been better (it's hard to aim at those fast-moving enemies when you can only shoot in 4 directions), but it's a very well made game. Awesome graphics.
This game is awesome. Very, very cool! This is my favorite entry so far :)
It's fun to play, the control are weird but not really unfair, and I love how the projectile bouncing is exploited.
A shame that the final boss don't do anything at all! :(
Very good game. Very tense, all decisions really feels important, you struggle to get to the end with people alive...
And very, very innovative regarding the theme. Great work!
Hah, interesting game here! Very well made, and very... deep I guess? I mean it's the kind of stuff you go through all your life - thinking back on what you should have said to people. And making it a game... it's strangely compelling.
Very good work here!
Hah, that simple idea of clicking on parts of the text is good, and your initial intentions/concept is interesting. Hope you'll go further with this!
Wish the camera would be smoother, but this works pretty well.
Wish you'd had gone a bit further with this (graphics, audio), because the concept is very solid.
Amazing! A game made ENTIRELY IN A PDF?!
The gameplay wasn't much but that itself really made it insanely unexpected. In a good way!
Congrats. :)
Most boring game ever...? But with a twist!
More seriously, there's something about that simple, retro art that I liked. Wish the game had more content, somehow.
Too bad there aren't goal/quotas to reach, and more things to build. It's really nice to play, a solid base if you want to expand the game further!
Okay, it clearly lacks gameplay...
BUT DAMN, THAT WRITING. That's really, really good. And the art is super fun, the humourous tone is perfect, the story was cool and it was nice to be reminded not to be an ass full of prejudices.
Incredible work here.
Can't run the game, it says I'm missing MSVCP110.dll :(
Fantastic entry. Just amazing. A bit hard, but the graphics are amazing. Wish the levels were a bit shorter, and had more variety, but woah, fantastic.
Nicely done! Damn ghosts, but it was somehow a new approach to classic plateformer, which made it cool. Nice title too, self-explanatory. :D
Ah, finally, a game about subways! It's nice seeing an approach of the theme that isn't underwater/mining.
Lots of work here, congratulation for your work.
Woah. I was like "okay, this is a classic, but at least it'll be different from what I've seen so far"...
But using physic on the rocks? It was awesome! I hope to see more of this :)
I'm sorry for all of you who got stuck in the game, I just added a Walkthrough :(
Thanks a lot to everyone for your comment!
Well that was a nice and original idea. Kudos!
AMAZING.
Woah.
Wish you could fire in all directions but... man I love it.
Took me some time to understand all controls but man... Keep being awesome!
Very solid entry!
I wasn't expecting much, but it turns out it's very polished. Kudos!
Amazing.
I wasn't expecting a typing battle system (and the words are smart too!), AND the second character uses a different system? Neat!
I wish enemies actually died when you win, but eh, it's nice really!
Quite nice. The gravity thing is a good idea! The controls aren't very tight, but it's a good idea overall.
Amazing entry.
Took me a while to really understand how it works, but the polish level is insane and it's all working so well...
I had trouble with the last level because I couldn't figure how to kill someone, but I won without it. Wish there was more!
Congrats!
Hah, this is actually quite nice!
I wish the missiles were faster because the pace is a bit slow, but it's fun!
The idea wasn't bad, I kinda wanted to move around planets and search for the target, but... oh well :(
Good music.
The movements are too fast, but the game works okay!
The camera controls are too loose I think, but it's very well made in such a short time. Good work!
Good story, and I liked how you more or less -felt- like a dog. A shame there weren't more options though, it was a little too straightforward. :(
Good stuff anyway!
Eyh, this is quite nice!
Controls are a bit hard, and the camera doesn't give much time to react to "OH GOD AN ASTEROID IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF M---", but it's really fun. Love the way the game is turned around when you reach the red planet atmosphere.
Thanks everyone!
The lack of feedback is actually a bug that appeared in the last 30mn before submission (and that I didn't see in time, of course -__-); as for trading, it was planned (this is what Space Stations were for) but... well, 48h is a short time.
But thanks everyone! :D
Very good graphics, fun little game. I left!
The pace was a little slow, but it was a nice experience. :)
Really nice. You might quickly get overwhelmed, and it kinda lacks a goal or game over condition ( if there is one I didn't play long enough / felt it ? ), but it's really nicely done. Good work! :D
It's a shame you don't really have control over, like, dodging or something because you when you die it feels a bit unfair...
But man this is FUN.
Spending 50 eggs to enter the arena to "only" win 40 back is a bit weird, but appart from that... WOAH I wasn't expecting that!
Awesome twist and rather well made game. Really interesting take on the theme, too!
I... woah. I suck as much at juggling in games than in real life... but that's incredibly amazing.
The amount of polish put in this compo entry... amazing.
And original too. Great work :D
Amazing graphics. I wish I had someone to play with, but the level of polish on this is astounding. Grats!
Ahahah what the fuck, I loved it. Congrats, that was surprisingly unexpected :D
That is a pretty well made game!
The fact that you can move with WASD feels almost like a cheat, and the game quickly gets REALLY hard... but it's a nice concept and very well made execution :D
Dat deer lady.
Short and easy, but really cute. :) Keep up the good work!
I've always wanted to see a game about scanning items (no joke, I really think you can do something with that pitch!) so I hope you'll expand the concept. :)
Nice idea. :D
The controls make it hard to play properly, but it's not necessarily a bad thing.
A bit buggy indeed, but the idea is really nice, kudos for innovation. :D
It was fun trying to find out what to do and handling the pressure of every status bar going all out all at once
Nicely done, I'm amazed that you were able to put a fully fledged tower defense in such time!
I had a little trouble with colors, by the time I realized I could change my tower's colors, it was too late :(
Great work though!
It didn't felt like real luminosity, but still, that was quite fun. Really nice!
Ahah, I didn't know what to expect but this is pretty fun. The goal is pretty high considering the pacing, but still, that was refreshing. Love those ragdoll physics.
Crashes at the Big bang screen in firefox for me, and doesn't load at all in Chrome. :(
It's sad that there isn't much more to it (especially difficulty wise!), because you have a solid base to make a good game here.
Nice work :)
Hah, the x4.5 lives made me laugh.
Nice work, but man this quickly gets super hard.
Interesting game! The asteroids and black holes actually really gives it a strategy vibe, nice work here. :)
Too bad you don't have any sound :(
This is... so dumb in a good way. It was fun to play! :D
The pace is a bit slow, but this is a nice take on the endless runner genre!
Eh... I looks cute and everything, but having no control over the clients, I'm not sure how this is supposed to work?
God if only you could jump higher. x__x
Good graphics, and I love the magic bacon. :)
Falling in water makes the game incredibly hard but man, this is super fun and incredibly polished. Amazing work!
Man I wish I just added an arrow next to the start button ahah...
I'll add some comments to the descriptions to make up for the messy interface. Sorry everyone. :(
Astounding graphics. The blur effect makes it really good, and... hell, the writing is nice too!
Love it, amazing work here. Thanks. :D
It's super reminiscent of old Taito games <3
It's just annoying that the controls (mostly the Z+X throwing thing that is really hard to pull off) are wonky :(
Anyway really nice <3
Wow! The first screenshot doesn't give it credit, the "let's move into 3D Iso mode" thing is sweet! And the game is actually pretty fun, which I had more options to change the tides of the battle or something. :)
Great work!
Wish there was more to it. :)
The ending was somewhat predictable, but it was still good nonetheless. I liked that the narration comes from the enemy, too :D
It's a pretty good game! The level design is good, the idea is nice... it's a smart way to use a concept as simple as Lemmings or something. Really clever. Good job. :)
Jeez Olav, I expected something unusual from you and got what I wanted :D
It's fun! would need a lot more feedbacks and some progression (there are too many cards for a first game, it's overwhelming), but it's still really original. Love it, best LDGame I've played so far <3
I'm always waiting for your games during Ludum Dare. Awesome stuff as usual. <3
The controls are a bit wonky (mostly during attacks) but it's soooo good.
Absolutely stupid, but in a good way. Ninja throwing smelly socks? I love the idea. :)
Oh man, this was unexpected and really cool!
I wish the sound and UI were better but the idea behind this is really cool. Kudos!
Too bad the RNG messed me up so badly (waited a few minutes in front of the first screen because I had a wall I couldn't get over), but the art is good and the overall execution is nice~ Good job!
Considering how hard it is to make a simulaiton game in such a short time, good job :)
Could need some UI improvement, but good job nonetheless <3
Holy shit how could I miss this. This is awesome.
I was thinking "how can they make Rock Paper Scissor fun it's dumb it's gonna be rand- oh wow nice musi-- oh wow nice art--- OH SHIT IT'S SO FUN"
This is by FAR the best game I've played. I would pay money to play a full release of this.
The controls felt a bit weird at first, but it's super fun and satisfying to play.
Awesome work. Great music, great style, great idea, great art great everything <3
The narrative is very well done for a muted game. Good message, good way of telling it, good job.
To anyone asking/wondering: if you kill everyone but nothing happens, you can restart the level by pressing R. I'm sorry :(
Hard to control, but the gameplay is surprisingly fun! Sticking to walls is nice but grabbing other stuff is smart :D
Godamn, this is so cute. Awesome art and sound. Got stuck pretty early on, but it's still a fantastic entry :D
Woah this is adorable and very nice!
There's so much to collect and do... it's great! Incredible job :)
The graphics are fantastic.
It's pretty well done and very reminiscent of N64 platformers... awesome!
Amazing realization, it's really polished and very fun to play :D
I fail to see how this is tied to the theme outside of the story tidbit in the description but otherwise it's real good!
Oh goDAMN Christina I wanted to play this... Why is it unfinished ;A;
Awesome art and cool music <3 Wish there was more to it
"Leave a tip" god the writing is this is awesome ahah.
Cool thing you done there :D
This is adorable, I love the concept.
Great realization overall as well, grats :D
Ahah, this is great. A little slow whenever it comes to text, but it's so much dumb fun.
... and now I want ramen. Damn.
Great game!
The concept might be simple but it's well executed and looks really nice. Good job!
Damn, hitting ugly mario is SO satisfying!
I love the attention to details, like the turtle that goes walking quietly when it lands... awesome.
Damn this is insanely hard.
But it's cute, the music is adorable and the teacher gameplay is a really smart idea !
Woah, this is a real nice concept. A shame I can't rate graphics, the monsters are really cool looking, and so are the colors.
Really smart and well done, that's an amazing idea you got there. :)
Oof, the controls/camera could be thighter... but graphics and sound are amazing, and the overall quality of this thing is impressive!
Super relaxing, too. Damn some of those gems, jumping right is hard!
This is a terrible game. But just because of the setting.
I loved it! Nice graphics, weird idea but not serious enough to be lame, it was fun!
It's strangely satisfying to roll over all these little cubes. Nice work. :D
Amazing entry, it's really nice and the graphics are stunning. Love it
Perfect score, even if the die and retry is so frustrating!
Insanely good job you did there. Super fun, incredible art style, amazing writing. Love it <3
Yess awesome man, the shooting feels pretty good. Awesome art and animations. :)
Amazing idea, and awesome execution. Congrats :D
This is adorable. The art style is great, it's super cute, and the gameplay is challenging.
Kinda wish hunger was based on movement/action rather than time, but I guess it made it easier to balance, since it's a game jam and all.
Awesome work!
Awesome!
So simple yet so well executed. I would have played that on my phone back in the 90s instead of snake ahah
Completed the game. Maybe a little short/easy, but the writing was excellent, the art amazing and the overall atmosphere great! :D
Nice job. :)
The controls could be tighter, but man the physic is so ridiculous I love it. I managed to flip my car upside down by running over too many people.
Shooting doesn't feel neither satisfying or efficient, JUST RUN PEOPLE OVER ahah
That's a really neat idea, both for the theme and as a game concept as well. Kudos! :)
The idea behind this, being a scary house and stuff, is really cool. :)
This is neat, congrats!
Simple, but works well - could do with some instructions.
This is actually quite fun and well polished! Good job here :D
I had to go fullscreen for the controls to work, but otherwise it was a lot of fun
Very hard to play due to player's speed. And you can go through walls if you go too fast ahah.
But overall nice job for finishing your game!
This is so stupidly funny. Awesome idea, very original and fitting to the theme :D
Hah, a slave market. Nice idea!
I like the idea, and your graphics are great Lux ;)
Space hitler looks great.
I have some issues with the actual execution but eh, it's cute and an interesting idea. :)
Woah, this is a solid entry!
I clearly wasn't expecting that gameplay ahah, this is quite fun :D
It lacks a bit of content/gameplay (like multiple adventurers at the same time, that would get more and more challenging?), but the execution is great.
Awesome art. :)
"Yeah okay I don't see the... oh you can... OH WELP"
This game is fantastic. Didn't expect the gameplay to step up that much, it's awesome.
Incredible work :D
W-woah.
Woah.
Woah.
Shit.
Whoah.
This is SO FUCKING GREAT. SO MUCH DUMB FUN.
Just when you thought it couldn't get any harder... it still did.
So cute and awesome. Great rendering, too.
113! This is great, really well done in such a short time. Lots of fun
The change of music is a cool thing ahah. Totally sets the mood.
That's a very, very cool and entertaining game!
All the characters are so cute and well designed, and there's so much dialog options you don't often run into the same... It's realy cool :D
I kinda wish some "big" thing happened, and/or that some early decisions would have big impact later on or something... but it's still great <3
Alright. This is the best game I've played so far, and DAMN the content is there too!
Amazing game, awesome idea, great execution. All kudos to you!
Wow, really well done. Good job, nice puzzle... it's a pretty solid entry!
The aging thing is great too!
Wow! Super simple, but amazingly fun.
Love the special characters, it's great. Amazing job!
Tough as nail, but really well made and fun!
As expected from you guys, it's really well done. Congrats for making something so nice. :)
Doesn't feel very shape shifting, but man, it's hilarious and some levels are really fun. Love the "dodgeball" one with the dozens of balls to load. Amazingly fun. :D
Very cute, lots of content, super well made... And man, that art style! The character is so snappy with all these shape shifting, loved it!
My only complain would be that there are too many controls for such a short game (it's hard to remember everything you can do), but it's awesomely made. Kudos!
God, the game is so well made. The graphics are insanely good, the soundtrack is dope, and ugh it's so well made
Amazing work you guys, all the kudos to you!
Adorable!
Pretty amazing content for such a short time, good work. I managed to beat the game in casual mode but man, it makes me wonder how the hard mode is because that was already way hard enough ahah
Good job anyway!
Awesome!
Wish there was more to it, but overall you did an amazing job in such a short time! Love the art, wish the idea of the gun was expanded a bit more.
Ran into bugs the first two times in the 2-3rd room transition, where the last block in 2nd room wasn't destroyed so I couldn't go back to get my gun.
Customizable robots are ALWAYS a good idea <3
Very nice! The goofy animations and cute graphics are great!
This is a lovely thing you've got there :D
Simple and effective, I really liked the music!
I wish there was more to it, like a level design more adapted to the game, but this was a fun thing!
Wow, the art style was really weird in a great way!
Simple but efficient game, good work to you guys!
Not sure if colorshifting counts as shapeshifting, but the tutorial level was actually kind of fun!
I couldn't get the Level Editor to work (it's grayed out?) but it sounds like a lot of work if you actually made it! You put a lot of efforts into polishing the non-game parts, so kudos for that!
I had fun playing this, and the graphics are great. Kind of slow, but apparently bug free and easy to control.
Solid entry!
Shapeshifting is barely there but man, this was the smartest way of doing an arkanoid game I've ever seen, plus it has amazing graphics? Crazy good. The boss is super hard and I couldn't tell why sometimes I wasn't hitting him, but I had a lot of fun nonetheless. Grats!
Well made, but sometimes the left/right movement didn't register, and I kept running into walls?
Good job otherwise. Nice music!
I see where you're going with this shapeshifting thing, it's a smart puzzle game you've made there. Difficulty ramp up pretty nicely too! Good job!
Ahahah, I desperatly tried everything I could to solve the puzzle in time.
Good work, awesome writing! Kudos to all of you!
When I tried to launch the 1.2 exe, my antivirus (avira) triggered a warning and windows told me it didn't have enough resource to launch the exe (I have a really decent computer)
This is deliciously creepy and crude.
The sluggishness of the character is an issue I think, but really it's a nice thing you made!
Really good audio and art, but sadly the controls are weird and the game doesn't feel really satisfying to play. You're onto something tho, theorically it could be fun!
Fantasticly made. Art style is amazing, atmosphere is great, and a neat little adventure.
Amazing work, really! It's so damn well made
Ahah, the game itself is functional, but the voiceover and the writing takes the crown; awesome work on that it was super funny to play ahah
Nice!
The idea of having to hit just to change color in anticipation to what's going to happen is great. :D
Hard to follow, but good job!
Oh nice, I didn't think about tamagotchis for a theme! This is pretty cool!
Awesome work, love the art.
Man, I wish this had some kind of sound because it's actually kind of great, in that silly way. As simple as it is, I enjoyed cooking these onions. :)
Woah, perfect idea for graphics! Awesome work, played this to completion and had a lot of fun. Love the hearts too. Good job!
Really good art, and interesting level design! A bit slow paced, but fun otherwise.
Great work!
Cute platformer! A bit stiff, but the fox art is real neat.
Intro cutscene was pretty great!
But man, the controls are super hard, I kept accidentally hitting balloons all the time.
Good work tho, this is a lot for such a short time!
This was cute! Hard to keep track of all shapes and what they do, but the game works well!
Alright, I wasn't sure where this was going, but getting smashed to death into a wall was hella fun!
The physics are kind of hilariously great. good work!
This is adorable, and really well made! The whole atmosphere is super cute, and the idea is great! Good work!
Adorable and surprising idea.
Very good work here, it's simple but very very efficient!
This is a fairly good game!
The idea of changing the shape of the level instead of the character is rare, so this is a pretty smart idea. Cool job!
Classic idea, but executed so well!
I'm amazed at how good it feels and plays. Super snappy, super nervous, feels so satisfying! Good job!
Cool game! I wasn't expecting so much content. This is pretty great! Art and music are nice, gameplay is a bit stiff but efficient. Kudos!
WOAH this game is amazing. Amazing graphics, amazing sounds (kudos on the fake french bits, it's great), amazing level design and amazing code.
Controls are a bit messy to remember but MAN this felt great. Played to completion, no bugs in sight... amazing.
It's a shame you can't shapeshift into more things, but the idea works. The puzzles are very obscure and hard to understand at first, but the idea is still cool!
Very smart idea! It feels like kind of a physics mess, but in a good way? It feels like everything can fall appart at any moment but that's a fun thing. Good job anyway, this was a fun moment!
Awesome work, guys!
It's surprisingly HARD to play with a laptop's touchpad ahahah. I wish it wasn't so slow, but it's really well made in such a short time. Kudos! :)
Doesn't really feel in the theme, but man, this was cool!
Won the game, I really had fun playing it. The angry god bringing balance was nice and made the game just hard enough so you always had to keep an eye on him. Kudos!
The idea of a shapeshifting level is neat!
Conceptually it's simple, but really efficient. Good job on making the game actually feel great to play!
Maybe a bit too much walking back and forth, but you guys did an amazing job as always.
Love the graphics, it's simple but super well made for such a short time!
I wish I understood exactly what triggers the shapechanging (it seems to change on its own without asking) but MAN this was really fun to play.
Reached the boss, but couldn't beat it. Awesome job on those particles and variety of weapons!
Thanks for your feedbacks!
Versions 1.1 is here, fixing the most important bugs of the original release.
Even managed to throw in two musics I didn't have enough time to add! Hope you like it. :)
Concerns about controls have been heard, too, and mouse control have also been added.
Triangular pieces are just there for decoration ahah.
I totally agree on the arrangement thing, this could (should?) be expanded further to have some sort of actual interesting gameplay. Right now a line of guns is indeed the right way to go. :(
Oh man, stacking similar guns to make them more powerful... now this is a great idea. I wish I had time to expand this ahah
Really short, but the level with the moving lights was actually fun and challenging!
Really good graphics! The gameplay was a bit simple, but I liked the idea of having holes that are not actual possible shapes. Good work anyway!
Really hard - I always had a bad time with arkanoid games - but really well made! Graphics look nice, controls are fine, and it's kind of fun to play!
The powerups aren't always super obvious, but it's great work!
Didn't feel right in the theme, but well made nonetheless. Good work!
Sounds were terrible in a good way.
It's barely shape shifting but MAN it's fun and controls awesome. The graphics are splendid, my only complain would be the lack of sounds; the music is good but if you added sounds to the attacks/hits the game would feel even better.
Anyway, amazing work. Fantastic effects/feedbacks and art. Grats!
That was hella weird! But in a good way.
I actually kind of wanted it to have more content ahah
Good job!
Nice!
I was expecting some danger, but the idea of a labyrinth that changes is neat. Not sure how the lipstick was supposed to help me, but fun nonetheless!
Weird and slow at first, but the puzzly atmosphere really clicks when you get different moods.
I'm in love with the character's art style. Awesome work guys!
Alright! I wish it had tank controls, but otherwise this was pretty darn fun! Awesome work you two, loved it!
Really hard, but the idea is neat! Good job!
Woaaaaaaaah this is an amazing idea, and the fact that you made it in 24 hours drives me crazy.
This is very cool and original!
Nice game!
Really liked the graphics and the music, puts a good atmosphere. Good work guys!
The controls feel a bit sluggish, but congratulations on your first Ludum Dare!
Good luck for the next one.
Nicely done but MAN is a human supposed to be able to play this?! I'd need at least 3 brains to be able to play this, one for shapes, one for positions and one for remembering the keys ahah
Nicely done tho!
A shame we can't rate the music, it sounded cool.
Good work! The platforming is a bit hard / unresponsive, tho.
The music is great!
The eating animation/shape is pretty great!
I won on my first try, but by replaying it realized you can actually fail. It would have been nice if it had been more "puzzle-like" with having to actually figure out an order.
Good job nonetheless!
GodDAMN that art is amazing!
This is very well made and very fun, all the congrats!
It's super hard (died of starvation a lot...) but it's very very well made and fun. Congrats to all the team for doing this in such a short time, it's a crazy good piece of work!
The music is adorable!
I like memory games, and this was done in a great way. Congrats! It was nice to see so many combinaisons too :)
MAN WHAT A FANTASTIC ENTRY.
Man this was really fun, it had a lot to it and I could play an actual entire game revolving around this premise. The creepiness is fantastic, the kid's dream hing is great, the music is really nice, the graphics are perfect, and even if the gameplay could be refined a bit it was a great experience! Thanks a lot <3
I'm amazed at people able to do something as complex as this in such a short time, solo. Good work; I like that there are multiple levels and enemies, it's cool!
It's a little bummer that the game doesn't pause when you choose your bonus, but otherwise this is a neat little thing. All the congrats for making your second LD jam! It's pretty good. :)
The music gave it a pretty amazing mood.
This is dumb as heck and I love it.
It's super charming due to how giggle-inducing it is!
I have absolutely no idea how such a simple thing could keep me up for 35 ingame days.
It's super cute! Graphics and music are real nice. Writing was a little too surreal ahah. Good work. :)
"I was bored."
The writing is actually pretty excellent! It's a weird thing, but it was a funny experience.
Ahah this was hella fun!
I liked beating up the shit out of this kid. Humor is great. :)
This is adorable! I managed to win and I'm the best student. That godamn toast was so hard to get in time!
This is a very fun ting, all the congrats for making this! It was really fun to play, and the art is absolutely adorable. Congrats!
... This is a game about spreading dog poop as a ruumba.
11/10.
No seriouly, it's a very very solid entry. Super fun, puzzles are simple but work well, the graphics are great and it's dumb and funny as heck. Love it!
Die and retry are really not my kind of game, but I can understand the appeal for such a precise memory game! It's quite fun in its own way. Love the music!
Simple, but very efficient!
Congrats, the twist on the theme is quite fun. It's a very solid entry considering the time you had!
Nice work!
The random ghost that appears on the right side of the room is really annoying, but using the lamp and TV to force the player to move around the room is smart. Overall, good job!
I wish it had gotten more difficult with like, new shapes or new things to pay attention to.
Otherwise, a well made thing! Congrat~
My one complain is that the orders have to be done, well, in order. I wish I could scrap fucked up drinks and redo the order. The difficulty could ramp up a bit faster, but otherwise it's a very fun concept! I really liked it!
This is a pretty cute game! The concept is neat, I wish the hacking felt a bit more tense, but it definitively works.
Cool thing, congrats!
(also just so you know, you can export in GM:S a single .exe file, you don't have to do an installer or a full folder; just change the type of file in the export box!)
Controls are a bit janky, but the concept is really fun! Throwing out people off the other person's room is great ahah. Good work!
I wish there was a goal, or some better explanation as to what decides if I fail or not, but overall it's a very funny and amusing version of Reigns. Good work!
I wish there was more to it!
The theme is barely there in my opinion, but the level of polish is INSANE! The art is great, and the way everything squish and squash is absolutely stunning. The atmosphere is great and the puzzle concept is well done. Congrats on pulling most of this in 48h! I wish I'd seen the compo version :D Congrats
That was amazing! I had a lot of fun playing this and flicking units everywhere. The duration of the game is just perfect, it ended right before I could get bored with it.
Great art, and fantastic sound design as well ahah
Wow, the 3D effect is weird and unexpected, but very cool!
The game itself is super fun. I wish there was a LOT more room, like a stupid Scribblenaut thing (I know it's not gonna happen ahah), but once the game actually start when you get the brick... man what a surprise and how crazy this thing is! The writing is super clever too.
Congrats, this was an awesome lot of fun :)
Very simple, but efficient and solid entry!
I really like the graphics and the fucked up perspective. It's really good work, congrats guy!
This was just fantastic. I wasn't able to reach the end because I couldn't tell how to get her to move forward in the dialog after she spoke about eating; but the idea in general was fantastic. :)
Congratulation, you made a pretty great thing!
Wow, the graphics look amazing, and the idea of a non-euclidian thing is very cool. It's super smart, I loved it!
Aw man, the ending left me frustrated!
I'm not very fond of puzzle games, but I wanted to see if the story was going somewhere... oh well
This is a very good take on the theme, tho! I really liked the idea, and it actually works great. Art looks good, writing is appealing, and the gameplay is simple but efficient! Awesome work. :)
Wow, this is a very curious game! I wish there was a better way to plan things than just try and error, but the concept is great!
The ball's hitbox could be a bit bigger, too.
Overall, a very solid entry. Congrats!
What a smart puzzle game!
Using space in a browser game isn't always a good idea, but regardless, it's a very well designed thing you have here. All the congrats, it's very good!
The controls were confusing at first, but once I checked the LD description and figured out how to play, that was pretty fun and cute! Good work, I spend a good time brewing coffee and throwing tea satchels in cups!
I wish the warmness would go up faster while in the cabin, but this is pretty well done!
The sound design is hilarious, the shotgun sound is great. Good work overall, this was a pretty well made thing for a solo entry! It's nice to see a game that isn't confined to one room, yet stays in the theme. :)
This is pretty dumb, but in a great way!
The art is fantastic, the music really cool, and blowing up stuff to make babies is... wait, what?
I really like this, it's super weird but it's interesting to watch the little community grow.
Difficulty ramps up a bit too fast, but otherwise, this is a very simple concept but super fun to play and well executed. Combos are great. Good work, it's a cool idea!
I dig the art style, I dig the idea, and I like the dumb wistling. Very very solid entry, congratulations! :D
Wow, very very cool game you have here. It's simple but feels well executed and surprisingly fun to play. There are a lot of options, and it's great to triple check everything to make sure you're not screwing up.
Congrats for making such an awesome thing!
It feels wrong that the ghost can catch you in a lit room, but otherwise, wow! Super solid entry. The puzzles are well design, it plays great, the music is good and graphics are fantastic! All the congrats, this was great.
I won!
... well, the easy one. It's surprisingly soothing in its simplicity! I really liked how calming it was to figure out the solution.
As usual, creativity pushed to the limit.
I'm just amazed at how much actual gameplay and possibilities are in there... it's insane. Amazing work. :)
Wow, there's a lot of work there to make a fun little managing game work in such a short time. Awesome work! This is a super solid entry. love the random names. :)
Just so you know, my antivirus picked up the exe as a Dropper.Gen; not sure what causes it, but it's worth double checking if something went wrong.
I'm using Avira.
This was very cute! I wish there was a little more to the combat, and I had so much money I could buy everything on day one (?), but otherwise it's a real cute game.
Congrats for making it!
Well, there's a challenger for best Mood, for sure. This is dark as hell. Very well done considering the time you had, I wish there was more to it! Congrats anyway; the art is fantastic.
Not sure if it's a good use of the theme (no offense meant!) but it's a PRETTY DARN GOOD THING.
It might be reminiscent of Paper, Please, but it's its own thing, and it's very very good and well made. All the congrats to you, it's insane that you've done something so cool and so deep with so little time.
Thanks a lot.
It's a bit too easy to camp the enemies right where they spawn, but damn if that thing isn't fun and well made. Love the bullet bouncing off the wall, it makes for pretty ectic (in a good way) gameplay!
Voice acting is top notch. I really liked this, it's weird and creepy, but very curious.
Very well made for the time you had, solid entry, congrats!
Great take on a classic concept! The idea of having to pick up your boomerang is a cool thing; the game is hard, but good work!
GOD DAMN. THIS IS INFURIATING but also absolutely fantastic.
Amazing game. Space is terrifying. Congrats on making such a fun thing! Definitively one of the best games I've played.
Awesome narration as well!
THAT FREAKING FROG-PIG IS UNCANNY AS HECK
I can't believe this is the very first Rubik's cube thing I'm having fun with. I know it's not an actual real Rubik's cube, but, still...
This is very very fun and very well done. The graphics are super cute, the atmosphere is great, and the gameplay is, well, actually good! I'm happy I could try and understand Rubik's Cube through single, simple tasks.
Great job, this was really a solid entry!
Ahah, okay, that was actually very funny! I wish it had an actual ending, I wanted to see all the nice clothes I collected. Oh well :(
Good work anyway! Congrats for this cool entry. :)
That really felt like an old Atari/C64 game! The wall jump was a bit unintuitive at first, and then I realized it was amazingly fun and stupid, bouncing off walls non stop ahah.
It felt barely in the theme, but overall it's great to play!
Man, this is smart! Really original idea; it's a bummer you spend more time building steps to reach your target than building an actual labyrinth, but the base idea is cool as heck.
It would easily be expanded into an awesome thing if it had fights and more locations to reach. Congrats on making this, it's awesome!
Man I loved the idea. It's crazy hard, but very, very original. And using actual database of player answers... this is just way too smart and fun. Congrats!
This is a cool use of the theme!
Having to find your way with different control/physic scheme is a pretty great idea. Congrats!
2 - 1/3 - 1/4, whatever that means!
This game is crazy fun. The level of polish is very great! I wish there was just half a second of safe time when you switch room, instead of jumping straight into enemy that spawn almost on top of you, but this is soooo much fun.
Great job!
It's a bummer it doesn't have an actual exit, and I wished the controls were tighter (right now it's too slippery to really be played in Void mode), but the idea is kind of great! If it was a single screen (no scrolling) and you actually displayed an exit in the void game and you... just have to figure out how to reach it, it'd be a great thing. :)
Ahah this is dumb but fun!
It's amazing to be able to put out a Managing game that deep in such a short time. Solid entry, good work here!
Man, this is tough as heck... but man is it well done and polished; The art is fantastic, music cool, it's all very atmospheric... I'm really curious about the ending, but I don't see myself able to finish this ahah.
Congratulations.
The graphics were surprisingly efficient! Very minimalist, yet it works. The challenge is definitively there, and it was a lot of fun playing!
It's a weird take on the theme, but if it means it gets to be this fun, I'm all for it. Congrats!
This is a very weird game, but weird in the original sense!
Took me a bit to understand everything, but overall it's a tense managing game. You've done good work making everything fit together! Conrgrats on doing all that in such a short time
Well, this was a great surprise!
The tension gets super high when the walls start really closing in, it's great. And lots of content with all the upgrades you can buy! Amazing work, congrats guys :)
Congrats on your second LD game! These things are all about improving and learning so don't worry about it
The concept is good! It's very hard to control (speed and hitbox are a bit punishing), but I've never been good at Breakout games. But yeah, the idea is good! If you're looking for improvement and feedbacks, I suggest you watch the "Juice it or Lose it" talk, it's about how to make a breakout clone feel great.
The idea of a sneaking game is cool! It's really hard, but the art is fantastic. Awesome work. :)
The atmosphere is really great, the ligthning works very very well. It feels a bit unfair because enemy can spawn rather close to you, but even so, it's a cool thing you've done! Congrats.
Let's get it out of the way: it might not be the most original take but MAN THE POLISH. WOAH. Sounds and music are top-notch, the level of polish is crazy, and the game is super fun to play. It feels great for a jam game, and it's so hard to achieve good gamefeel... Congrats!
Oh my GOD. This is AWESOME. I would legitimately play a fully fledged Karate Basketball game.
It's just GREAT. The voiceover was the cherry on top.
Graphics are cool as heck, audio is neat, gameplay is sick and polished.. I would play that a lot more.
And the AI is good too?!
That being said, the game is hard as heck ahah.
I thought the game was cute, then I became friend with Lammy. Now I think the game is awesome.
Cool game; those characters are adorable and the writing is great. Wish there was more to it :D
Awesome music too!
Fantastic entry.
The idea is just great, and the execution fun. Wouldn't mind the controls to feel tighter, but overall it's very solid and very fun to play! Congrats :)
Dude. Awesome ahah.
I know it's a satyre, but you can't help but think it... feels... too close to home.
Awesome art, awesome writing. And that skeleton legs killed me ahah
Great level design, even if it was hard as heck; the difficulty ramps up nicely!
It was sad that there was not a bit of music to push the tension higher, but overall this is a solid entry! Controls were tight and it was fun to play.
The blood particles were great, my wife couldn't stop laughing every time I repainted the room a little more.
Congrats!
Well, damn, full score.
The music is so good, the retry is instant, and this is some kind of Devil's Dagger level of intense "just one more" gameplay loop.
I'm in love. I'd buy and play this.
Having a simple, tiny but very efficient and very polished game is definitively the way to go! Congrats.
And again, the audio is super good.
This is a nice entry. It reminds me a lot of good old Atari 2600 games.
I especially like the bag of present getting bigger and bigger as you collect them, it's a nice touch! Congrats
Wait. What? You did this in 48 hours?
The concept is simple, but SO WELL EXECUTED. I've seen (and even tried once!) to do managing game jam games for game jams, but I've never actually seen/played one that was FUN to play!
You did very good, it was so much fun and actually very realistic. :D
Also, the music is fantastic. Congrats!
The art style really sells this to me. :D The flat 2D character in this 3D world is really great. And it plays surprisingly well - outside of battle, which feels a bit clunky.
The room changing animation is super cool, too!
Maybe it's barely in the theme but hey, very cool game :D
Hi everyone!
I just dropped a 1.1 post-jam version, that mainly fixes collision issue and adds HTML5 support. It also brings an improved rating system. Go for that 100% so mom is happy!
Thanks a lot to all of you for your comments and support. <3
Web version is the 1.1; it's not massively different tho, except for some collision fixes and some adjustement to scoring calculation and display at the end. :)
You figured they were edible! Just shove them in the fridge. :)
But you're right, I wish I had added an option to gulp them down ahah
Wow, made it in the leaderboard!
I really like this idea. I feel like the characters should do/move a lot more, because most of the time I'd destroy lines before they do anything... but the concept is great.
Congrats! It's a great thing. :)
This was a funny and original idea! I liked it. Congrats, this is solid work! I loved that it eventually had weird rooms or tiny gardens. It's neat :)
GoDAMN that's one fantastic way to use the theme.
The way it's done is... I'm just blown away because it's such a SMART WAY to use the theme!
And on top of that, it's super fun to play! Thanks a lot. :)
Got the good ending after a few tries!
I wish this game would go a bit faster, but it's a cool branching thing. Good job!
Hah, funny, I did absolutely exactly 100% the same premise and game ahah. So, I have to say great idea! :D
I wish I could put down objects vertically, but it's a cool thing!
Man, this feels great! Being able to see the path you've taken, and the way it draws stuff.. That's really really cool. Very original stuff to; all the congrats!
There's only one paladin? Bummer, I expected waves on enemy to make evolving worth a while. But otherwise, it's very functional! I wish there was a feedback that showed what minion I have selected.
Anyway, good idea!
There's clearly a lot of work put in this! It's funny, I like it. The ammo count don't make much point, but overall the game is enjoyable. :)
This is really really fun! I didn't really know what to expect and it's a well made platformer. Doesn't quite hit the theme for me, but it's definitely very fun to play! The music is good, and the level design is good and doesn't feel repetitive. All the kudos!
Hot damn, that's very cool! The sounds is cute, the art is good, and the whole idea behind it makes for a great educational game. It was a bit weird that you can lose your students behind, and I somehow wish there was something more interesting to running to a specific place (and not just follow the path), but it is incredibly well made for such a short time. I've seen actual educational ad games that had less work and polish. So congrats!
The mechanics are a bit simple to be fair, but here's something to those dumb audio sounds just going OWOWOW OW OW. It took me a while to realise you're actually a planet punching other planets with your moons (that's what it is right?!) which made the world kinda funny!
It's obviously simple, but very fun! And kudos on making an Android version as well! It's surprisingly enjoyable to play, congrats!
What a cute little game! I finished it, it took me a while to understand how things worked, but I like that the hint just don't straight up tell you what to do. It's a cool thing, congrats for making it in such a short time!
How did you make that in such a short time?! Music is super catchy (even if it's a bit simple), controls are really tight, and it's suuuuper fun to play! I wish the wall run would last longer; the level of polish and details is really good, and that dumb little boss at the end was a fun thing. Overall, man, I'm amazed you did all this over a weekend. Congratulations!
This is actually very fun! It's not super complex - just avoid the trees and you're good I guess - but the art style really sold me. Little touches like being able to blow dandelion, or the trails to keep track of the other players are really cool things! Congrats for making it in such a short time!
That shark looks real good, and the music is neat! I wish there was a little more to it, like different effects depending on the boxes you pick... Also the "yum!" popups when you eat something are real cute!
What the what! It's incredibly well made and super fun! Good coop game, cute mechanics, amazing graphics, great music, surprising amount of polish?! Wow guys it's real, real good! Congrats!!
It's a bit of a simple game, but it was fun! It's hard to see the bullets, and I wish I had more options to shoot with. Cool game nonetheless, kudos!
I had no idea God shot lightning bolts at asteroids and aliens to let us create FTL. That's kind of reassuring! You've done good overall! The game is simple, but hits the spot; good work!
You could probably make the game a little more interesting if you made everything smaller (so you have more room to move around) and make it so the character needs to be in a certain distance to kill an enemy. That being said, congrats for making a game! I wish there had been some music too.
What a fascinating thing! The atmosphere is fantastic and the narrative, despite its simplicity, really hits the spot. I'm most amazed at the art style; it's so weird and impressive, and fits the game so well... kudos to all of you!
Only got a streak of 9 but MAN that's really unique! You gave so much details and polish to this, too, like the puffy footsteps or the blood particle... It's a really well made entry! Love the music, and the graphics, despite the lack of animations, are super nostalgic. All in all, a very good and fun game! Congrats!
Oh man, what a great way to handle a classic platformer idea. It's so smart and hitting the right spots. The graphics are just excellent, too! I'm really fond of this, I wish there was a lot more to it because it's a really interesting idea ahah. Thank you!
I didn't really quite understand the goal at first - I wish there had be a better way to actually make the elements bounce like crazy, they're a little to easy to throw in the air and the confusion is not as high as I'd want it to be... ... that being said, the graphics are great! That tiny Earth just looks adorable, with its tiny moon antenna. Love it! And the music is really cute.
Oh my god that was so much fun! It's super hard to do music when you lock a square that you wanna put another type of instrument on, but I had such a good time playing around with it! The art is great, and the choice of instruments gave it a very good atmosphere. It's really nice to see how "finished" the whole thing looks, too!
What a weird, unique game! The audio was very loud and creaking in my headphones; but the overall atmosphere was weirdly interesting. I kinda liked the message it was trying to give in its own weird way.
It took me a minute, but I was quickly hooked; the different planets, the way the planet breaks off as you drill into it... The character design (and the art in general) is REALLY GOOD too!
I wish there was a little more to do (which, obviously, is not relevant in a game jam setup) so the gameplay doesn't feel repetitive, but it's a very, very solid entry! Congrats~
I'm really impressed at how many assets there is! The shelves are all stocked up with a lot of stuff, and the fluid/water looks kinda cool; so yeah the art is neat :D As far as gameplay goes, it's a bummer there isn't an actual goal or something because I would absolutely play a giant slug in a shop. Oh well! Good job anyway~
Really well done puzzle game. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the way it works, but the graphics are great and it's really well made. Kudos for making such a polished product in such a short time! It's just missing some music, but can't blame a compo entry for that. :)
Sooo it's just a prototype, with a single level, right? Conceptually, it works; I was hoping for more levels of course, but overall the time mechanic is what felt the weirdest to me. I'd rather have a set amount of power, and a lot more gates/puzzles to reach whatever you have to power up. Maybe have multiple goals within a same level, and have to spend power to change gates/paths so that you have to guess the right amount of energy to send to fill one goal, then change a bunch of gates to send energy to the next goal! Hopefully this make sense ahah
Pretty simple, but efficient game! I really liked the voxel models, it's a style that's not used nearly often enough. I wish there was more to do with the power though! If everything was based on power (like, simply shooting or using missiles, but also repairing or refilling shields), it would be a lot more tense. You'd have to actually take important decisions, that would be cool!
Wow what an awesome idea! I really like how you indirectly control the bots, the wires are a simple but very cool touch. The level design is quite good as well, I'm not really sure what to give feedback on ahah; maybe it'd be better with some music and sound design? But overall a very, very solid entry. Great work!
@simonhutchinson I wish, but the pathfinding just shit itself on HTML5, thanks to Game Maker... not being great whenever you try to do complex stuff. As for Mac, I have no way of debugging/testing any build, I'm sorry :(
@huvaakoodia (and everyone giving feedbacks about not having enough to do) I mean, yeah, it's a jam game, that's why there's only waiting ahah; we initially wanted to have to repair machines so you'd have to turn on/off machines during the day and have more stuff to do. Kid litter is a great idea though, we didn't think about cleaning up! Thanks for the feedacks, though. :)
I played the original jam version and oh boy, it's great! Graphics are really great, the idea of the game is super fun, and it plays great. I wish there was an ending, and more time to figure stuff up because in the state it was in, it was mostly a die and retry until you've memorised everything.
But yeah, fantastic work! Congrats~
Damn, that's quite an original idea you have there! Really like the concept, but some of the feedbacks are a bit too confusing - like it's not obvious at first glance what some objects are gonna do. But the idea is really cool!
The game is quite simply made, but I really appreciate that you've spend time to make a proper intro cutscene!
The "minimap" at the bottom was a bit confusing, it was hard to figure out why the cops kept going back and forth, or why I was stuck on the end but not "finishing" the race
You grow so quickly I was almost expecting it to have a twist or something ahah Also the gamejolt link doesn't work for me. It stays in loading forever.
It's really hard! The controls could be tighter, the jump, and general movement are so fast it's kind of hard to control properly... and I thought the gems were real dumb/badly balanced until I figured out you have to be smart! They're real cool once you realise going back is an option ahah.
Wish there was some music, but overall, great work! Kudos~
What a dumb game, in a good way! I really like those Wario Ware type stuff, but you absolutely nailed the crazy atmosphere of it. It's so dumb and funny, I love it
Congrats and thank you for the fun time!
A quite simple/classic gameplay, but very well executed! And boy, those graphics are GOOD Getting hold of the controls - jumping, activating electric fences, etc - is a bit tough, and a quick retry (that skip the lenghty tutorial text) would be super helpful. Great work for a jam, though!
Hey Josh! Very classic gameplay for a puzzle game, but amazing level of polish in such a short time, and great level design. Awesome work here, congrats!
What a very cute game! It didn't go very far in terms of gameplay, but the writing was surprising, when you start falling asleep or having the kid just yell at you for making "wrong" choices.
It was a refreshing experience after all the other more "classic use of the theme" games in LD !
Very simple; but fun concept. I'd love to see a more polished verson of it. :)
Wow, that was a very weird experience - but in the coolest way! I love short audio experiences and that was a good one :D I could barely even tell the actual "goal", I just felt good playing around. Awesome!
Love how some squares are just a little bit off sync with the others, so the whole thing feels more alive.
Ah man, I really wish the map was smaller so I actually had reasons to fear my own pipes. Even if it plays like Snake, there's a really low risk of hitting yourself; some obstacles would have made things more interesting, too.
That being said, the game works great, and is pretty fun! Balancing the generator thing was an interesting addition to Snake!
Holy moly, what a cool game!
I like the graphics and audio, but the gameplay is where it's at! It's such an innovative idea, I really like it. It's not flawless, the sunrays are rather random, and controlling the tree feels a bit weird, but it still feels very satisfying to play! Thanks for making it
A simple game, but the regular gameplay "unlocks" early on, tied with that fantastic writing, made it a pretty enjoyable game! It could always use some more polish (hotkeys, tighter controls, feedbacks & tweening) but overall, it plays great!
Also, your first game jam? Hot damn! That's pretty amazing work for a first entry! Congratulations~
It could use a little more feedback (UI buttons with prices instead of just pressing 1/2, for example!), but otherwise it's good groundwork for a game! I like the trail effect, the electricity linking elements that are interacting with each other
That was one of the dumbest (in a great way), greatest games I've reviewed for LD so far. Good graphics, good audio, but that gameplay and its humor were perfect! I'm a fan of chaotic games, and this is a really good take on that! I can't think of anything negative to say, it's really fun to play!
Simple gameplay, but the controls are pretty neat and there's a lot of polish! The game is super hard, to the point it feels a bit unbalanced, but gameplay itself is pretty solid with the small and big shot, gun recharge and powerups. Overall, great work! I wish it had some music, though~
Holy shit, how did you make so much content in such a short time? It's awesome! The controls could be tighter; with the movement forward when you swing your axe, it feels a bit frustrating at times; and enemies have a lot of health. But otherwise, woah! It's so well made, so polished and so "full" of stuff! Good writing, too...
Really great entry!
Well that was a very interesting way to create towers in a tower defense! Controls could be a bit tighter, but having to move around and collect items, while maintaining your defenses up is a cool concept! Congrats on making it~
First off; shouldn't it be the opposite, the track being the void, and the slow-off-track parts asteroid fields? Ahah The game would benefit from a slightly larger track, imo, given the speed you're going at; it's hard to stay on track and be good at the game, especially when you first start, which can be frustrating.
Otherwise, woah! The graphics are great, the audio is cool, and the game feels fantastic! I can't believe you've done all of this in such a short time. Kudos!
I'm having trouble figuring out the actual gameplay - like how to reach the end, what the feedback for my ink is... but I gotta say, what a fantastic way to portray the struggle to create content. It's really great, having to push forward, and occasionally getting "easy" paths for no reason... It's kind of exactly what it's all about ahah
The controls don't feel amazing, and some color choices (mostly platforms being the same color as the sky) make it hard to play; but the light meter - even if it's not clear how it work at first - is really interesting because using your power consume your "life"! And overall, the art style is really original. Great job for a game jam!
The game ends when the waiting line is too long (i.e. when a car is waiting off screen). Gotta park faster! :D
Dude
Fantastic <3 It's so adorable and relaxing to play! I often see bunch of Wario Ware games but this one is SO POLISHED The screen transition, the text appearing, the Quality Graphics, everything is SO NICE I just wish it had sounds when you pick/drop things but that's really being nitpicky. It's so good and well done <3
Getting Over It, but worst because you have health; ahahah What a fantastically fun idea and execution. Had an absolute blast - eventually had to give up because I just couldn't go past the hill right after falling off the cliff, but man, what a really fantastic thing you made. It's just so fun, polished and enjoyable. Amazing work!
Played the original build, and while it's definitely broken and buggy, it was a lot of fun! The autochess mechanics of buying and combining items was incredibly fun, and generally speaking it's just exciting to play. Would love to see more, good job:
Man, that felt great; The way the music changes completely once you're out of "the tutorial levels" immediately makes you know it gets real, the mechanics are fun and it just plays really well. My only wish is that you wouldn't immediately lose if you touch a bad thing, like, maybe have just a second of reaction time so you can course correct or do something; it feels a bit punishing as it is. But really, amazing job!
That was really cool! Love that every "character" had their own behaviors, and that you had to place instructions always in order. Realising how timing is important in the last two level made me think that it could make for a really interesting game if you pushed it deeper; actually waiting for the right moment to place instructions down... I wish there'd been more to it! But thanks for making it, I had a great time~
That was really cute! Thanks for ending the game on a huge cliff I could jump off of, that was satisfying ahahah It was really fun, wish there was a little more to it!
Fun coincidence: we made the exact same game concept! Thought I'm having much more fun playing your game than ours ahahah Really like the execution, it's just fun to frantically try to keep everything running smoothly. Wish there was a way to know if I'm anywhere near "the end" (if any). Great music, too!
I won! Just couldn't stop playing till the end. I would play an entire game with levels and different types of plants and stuff like this, it was a blast. Definitely my favorite game so far for this jam, it was so much fun, thank you!
That was really cute, but definitely too easy ahah. A bummer - I feel like there would have been potential for trying to find the best way to light the bonfire - like using the minimal amount of resources, or trying to burn down the entire island in the process. Or the opposite, burning the least trees.
Either way, it feels polished and working well! You could easily expand on this!
Didn't expect to see a game like this, but it ends up fitting the theme nicely! The booster pads feel very punishing - if you miss a canister it's basically a game over, but generally speaking it's fun to play! I really appreciate having the arrow to show the direction of your ship, combined with where you're actually putting force toward. Really good to have both.
All in all, excellent work!
What a fun little concept; jumping from train to train when the doors are matching is just genius mechanically! I bet this must be pure fun chaos in multiplayer. Great job!
I don't think I ever felt so bad about killing vegetables. These poor carrots! But there's a really strong nostalgia about late 90s shareware games with this, it was a blast to mess around with it. I feel like some ingame popup/tutorial/directions early on would help, when I started I couldn't find any enemy until I passed the 2nd bridge
Like
What the fuck, buddy How did you do this in such a short time and why does it feel so good?? Really had a blast, that art style is absolutely unique, and I really hope you build up on it and how this whole thing feels some day. Kinda wish there was more to it - an actual end goal or something maybe? but I really am impressed about like... all of it. Outstanding, man
I'm straight up amazed at the look and feel of that game. Eventually gave up, feeling totally lost after finding 3 yellow rooms, maybe wish there was something telling me what I'm doing right or wrong (if anything), but I do appreciate the very little things helping you figure out where you are in this labyrinth. Just smart use of textures, putting a screen down close to the ground or using geometry to have the most subtle hints to help finding your place is really impressive. The sound is so simple and so anxiogenic - always being like "wait did my heartbeat got faster", leading you to feel more and more stressed out about it... combined with that amazing PS1 rendering, I'm genuinely loving this
This is SO GOD DAMN HARD ahahahah Your game is really well made, but damn it's, so hard; I would have loved if you had some levels just to get accustomed with the controls and gameplay, and have the difficulty ramp up a bit instead of being immediately soul crushing ahahah Also I think have mouse controls for the umbrella would work better if the camera was following the character. You have to mouse your mouse to avoid stuff AND follow your character and it's really like having to manage 3 brains at the same time
But again, really well made! Loves the graphics and the general atmosphere. Good job
Ah man, I was having fun but when I realised those large lines weren't checkpoint, it kind of sapped my motivation ahah; I feel like there could be more use of the main mechanic of switching character, but having them be tethered to one another made for some really stressful (in a good way!) navigation. Also the switching seem to have a timer/downtime, which made it less reactive that the level design wanted me to be, but overall it's well executed, and I adore that art style. Good work!
Man that's a very efficient and fun game! Just.. good; excellent humor, great visuals, fun everything, even as simple as the gameplay can be it's immediately made enjoyable in the bestest ways by the way everything is wrapped up. Fantastic!
Also I failed to save one of the robots and I feel bad...
There's something incredibly satisfying about clicking positive words to spawn! And the controls are insanely reactive. Being able to try to sneak way too close to an enemy, but knowing exactly that you'll be able to back out just the right way without the game feeling too snappy is just straight up impressive. The lightning thing was well used, too, and seeing a leaderboard was a good surprise! Overall had a blast, died fairly early on due to overconfidence, but just wanna praise you for your work!
I made it to the next nest! And then went full speed off cliff! It felt a bit hard to know what decides when the eggs gets damaged or not, and the layout is a bit simple - like I would have enjoyed a pit or some obstacles! - but the physics felt just right
Made it to the 2nd batch of enemies - for some reason the game ran like shit on my otherwise decent computer, and would freeze every now and then and just eventually became unplayable
But man, what a blast! That's one of the most "finished" game I've seen in a long long while. Amazing graphics, tons of polish, excellent game feel and overall just fun gameplay. I wish there was a little bit more to manage so the game would feel more interesting in the long run, but it's really freaking cool!
Took me a solid minute and a couple try to realise what I was meant to do, some explanation up front might have helped, but the idea is cute; loved the graphics, that's an absolutely gorgeous game!
Very simple, but like, it's a proven concept! Excellent fitting art, cute music, and there's something just hilarious about the "clean" gauge being 80% fine with two big steaming turds lying around, ahahah And hey if it's your first game jam? Absolutely stunning job!
Gah! I really wish there was a way to properly dispose of the not yummy... flying... manta... flesh thing? Overall I was really surprised, I didn't know what to expect and the simplicity was a fun surprise. Really wish there was more to it because the game feel is really, really good. Art is phenomenal, music and atmosphere are amazing, I really just wanted more!
The drifting is real! It drags so much, but it's a kind of inertia that's really interesting to learn to master. Congrats, it's quite the neat game you have there :D I wish the powering stations up was faster/instant so it wouldn't pause the "racing" component of the game, though
Hah, this is pretty fun! I finished the game, loved the idea of it; Wish there was more to dream of! I really appreciate how simple and intuitive it was to play, too.
Just a little comment to say that I'm reading all this! Future versions will include changes based on everyone feedbacks - especially camera stuff and overall readability (along with an actual finished tileset and hopefully more content, ahah)
Thanks to everyone for their fantastic comments, you're all lovely <3
Good concept! It's a shame it doesn't have more stakes, it would be rad if there was actual danger and/or challenge; I wish the aiming was precise too, it felt wrong to explode 8+ nearby zombies with a single shot
But good work! Congrats
Wow, this is crazy original a concept; I didn't realise I had to not shoot him at first, but once I understood it, it was pretty rad! Congrats :D
It's a strange game, mostly because it's devoid of real goal, but I'm always fascinated by automated systems. Congrats on making something this complicated in such a short time!
Man, this is GREAT! Great concept, great execution, the visuals are amazing and the soundtrack sells that cutie atmosphere so well Congrats, it's a really cool product, I hope you make it a more fully fleshed out game :D
The concept is great! Took me a few minutes to get my bearings and understand it all - and it's a shame the powerups don't work - but I really like the idea I got stuck in the geometry a few times, and I wish you could only race for a few seconds before going back to the card part, but it's good work!
Wow okay, I'm not necessarly into either of these, but it's a REALLY GOOD CONCEPT Man it makes me want it to be a fully game with actual narration/story and still that dumb clicker gameplay, I love it
This is so weird, but so cute! A plane? fishing? bombs? what? But also god it's adorable and I love everything you've done with the graphics, sound and atmosphere. and it's simple but funny to play. Congrats!
Ahah I wish there had been an ending, but it's so good and SO well made! Such polish into this thing, it's impressive. Congrats, that was a very good moment :D
Hah, this is a very cute concept! I went in not knowing what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised. Wish the gameplay wasn't so hard and punishing ahah But man, it's a really good simple concept. Congrats!
Hah, it's a simple game, but quite good and polished! The graphics are very good and the concept is fun to play; I wish there was more content (different enemies, powers and such), but I had fun playing this!
This is pretty fun! I wish the inputs were tied to the objects - like "oh, a chariot, I should cast fire" instead of being random, and that the rythm would be a bit faster, but having to combine inputs is a good way to raise difficulty! Also, you can just mash every button all the time and can't lose ahah
But good work overall! Congrats
