Hey, it's Mult! That joke I've been hearing about..? The game was pretty fun, and the cheat button was handy (only used it once tho, wanted to beat the game properly.) I feel like you pulled off my idea better than I did, so, uh, good job!
Even though it's basically splatoon but top-down and with slimes, it's fun! Good Job!
Okay, so, the concept and the controls were all good, but I just felt that there could've been a bit more... challenge? There's only the occasional hole, maybe a death tile. I do like level 5, though, and I feel like this game would've been more interesting had it progressed vertically. But don't be disheartened; you can only do better from here!
Hey, nice work! It was fun talking to all the people, although I don't have social anxiety.
Agree with @ethan-allwood , this game is a lot like SCB. Good work!
I think the only problems I had with this game were the colliders not being exact (personal nitpick), and the levels being short. However, your art is nice, the premise of the game and the controls were easy to pick up, and it was just, fun!
This was really fun! Wish there was multiplayer or something.
@tj101010 Makes sense.
Nice work! I enjoyed getting stuck a lot :P.
@adroitconceptions Hey, thanks! I find that in most of my games, I've never actually told the player how to play in the game, which is a flaw I should probably patch up. Thanks for playing, and giving feedback!
@firebelley I actually found out how to properly move the camera, but it's a bit too late for that (maybe?). @hexkritor Thanks!
@koala-squad Thanks! And you may be surprised by the number of people who had the same idea as me... It's two. But, the other executed the idea well! https://gamejolt.com/games/mult/360731
@rk3omega Alright! Though, I'll probably join the jam next time.
Nice game! I felt it was a bit too slow for my liking, but the visuals were cute, and I like the idea behind the game! I think you could've shortened the length of the timer, though.
@koala-squad That's okay! I understand that jam versions of games are rough prototypes.
@koala-squad Oh, that makes more sense. I'll keep watch, then!
Good job on the game! It was rather short, though. The art is really well done!
First of all, Godot! Second, nice game! It was fun. I have nothing constructive. Sorry!
Like many others who have played your game, the art style is really cute! The gameplay was easy to understand, and the game was relatively polished and feature complete. Keep up the good work!
Man, this was fun! I love the art, disposing people is fun in a sadistic way, and the voice acting was on point.
I like these kinds of games where you assign a few dudes and just watch them butt heads. It's thrilling! This was fun to play, though I haven't dabbled in the multiplayer yet. My only complaint is the UI not being the easiest to click on, but other than that, solid entry!
I feel like the only gripes I have with the game are that the stat increases are a bit subtle, at least until you get to a high enough number. The game also seemed to favor speed over every other stat whenever I played. Also, the little area where you see the stats is a bit hard to see. Maybe bring up the alpha a bit idk. Other than that, good job! I liked the art, the music is great, and the controls feel good! Sacrificing is also fun, and lets you experiment with not sacrificing at all, or sacrificing all but one of your citizens, etc. It leaves a bit of player determined fun I guess??? Also motivate button easily makes this game 10/10
The voice acting was on-point. Not only that, but there were a lot of interesting characters I missed mashing the button like a bored toddler... which I eventually killed. Good work! :D
Your art never fails to impress me. Keep up the good work!
Woah, this was really good! I love the cat :D The one thing that got me was holding an action with the arrow key(s) to preform the action, which got a bit annoying. Another thing is that you can dash through some walls? Probably not supposed to do that. Other than that, good job! I've wanted to learn Python/Pygame for a while, and you seem to know the ropes.
I'll start with the fact that the art is bloody amazing. I don't know why I'm so drawn to it, but I'm guessing it's the palette (part of endegsa32, see I remember!) I guess the only improvements I can ask of are some more enemy variety (more than stat increases) and some sound, but who am I to tell you? I only have one enemy!
Wow, this is probably the biggest mood I have ever seen. Captures the feeling of participating (other than getting disowned?), and the art was really nice! I liked the balancing part of things. Nice work!
Oh boy, this is an amazing entry! The graphics are great, the music, the game-play, it all just fits so well together! I guess I only felt mild discomfort with the aiming mechanic at first, but I got used to it, and the spells ricocheting off of walls/enemies also helped. Really good work!
@najmm Yeah, it was mostly because of late starts each day (school, the event starting at 2am), so it was pretty short. I wish I had more time, because my original idea was actually pretty good.
Let's start with the art, which is great by the way. That's all I have to say about the art. I feel like the time period between sacrifices is too long. Yes, you can skip to the sacrifice, but I think it'd be better if there was simply less time between sacrifices. Then there's the lack of audio. I think the game would do better with sound, as there's the whole shooting thing. Other than that, it's a neat entry!
Pretty much everything but the controls were great. It may have been me, but the controls felt quite unnatural. Aside from that, the concept is nice and I love the models.
I'd say I have to agree with everyone else. The art, controls, and music were all great, but the combat mechanic didn't serve it too well. It may be just me, but I can't seem to find out how the game ties into the theme.
The game is simple; I've seen the idea executed before. But I don't think I've seen anyone have the idea of the other actors freezing when one is in control. This leads to interesting solutions to puzzles such as "How do I get across this gap?" Sometimes, the jumps didn't happen when expected, which lead to some frusttration, but the art, gameplay, and level design made up for it. Good work!
this was fun! the art's cute, and the music is also pretty good!
nice job :D
I always love little desktop toys, and this was done really well! I think that the wall jumping could be easier to use though (kicking off walls doesn't really work).
One of my favorite entries of the jam :D
the music and sound are top notch imo, and I love glash with all my heart. really sick job!
It's pretty fun! I think my only real complaint is that there are too many bullets and the slime is really big, so it just has to take all of the hits. Other than that, neat concept!
