The atmosphere and the narrative was very engaging. There seems to be a couple of bugs. The shotgun stopped working after reloading the game (not restarting the .exe). Also the rescue copter came after even when I died and the screen turned to black. Overall, very entertaining little vertical slice.

I like the way this game plays!
The sound had me laughing. It was definitely a unique way to make the sound for yourself!
I bought in to the quick plot and easy play-ability which makes this game fun.
I did, however, keep getting stuck in walls and would have liked a restart button on death.
Fun game!
I also get the black screen of death after a couple minutes, up to that point it's looking good. did you use the Unity Asset Store (Game Jam Menu Template)?

I played the game three times and couldn't beat it, is there a fourth set of food boxes somewhere? (or are there things you can interact with other than the food boxes?)
Graphics look great and the winter setting is done very well. The sound effects were also quite funny, though it was a little jarring to hear the brrr every time I left the room.
The enemy snowballs were cool, but they were way too easy to kill and there's no negative repercussions to shooting, so it didn't feel like they had any impact on the game.
Overall, I really enjoyed the mood and the narrative, good job!
I love the simple but intriguing plot and the stylized look of this game! Absolutely great! However, I got a little lost looking for food and didn't get to see the end cause I kept dying while the screen was white and I was waiting on the helicopter :/ Sidenote: SFX 11/10 ;)
Very atmospheric and gorgeous graphics and style! The only thing that was a bit too harsh, in my opinion, was the hunger-meter and that it drains your health within seconds after depletion. But that aside, I almost felt the warmth of the fireplace :P
Great atmosphere and cold/severe mood in the game. The snowball people were a bit funny though. Great job for 48 hours.
Man those snowman head evil ball things are amazing! They're scary but don't move enough. I ended up freezing to death right before the chopper but I tried to survive. It was good. Setting reminded me a bit of Yeti Hunter.
It's not capturing the cursor properly for me, sorry. (Linux Mint)
The game looked really nice. The wind was a nice addition.
It was very challenging. For some reason the shotgun didn't work one time.
Good ol mouth shotgun xD

I was drawn in by the cover image, the graphics are awesome. Nice charming sound effects, and the shotgun was more like a sniper haha I was able to snipe the snowball dudes

Also, as mentioned before, the shotgun stops working after you die
Beautiful looking fps. I really enjoy how the sky complements the ground. I've noticed that a lot of these unity games have a fair amount of input lag for me. Is 100% on my end or is are others dealing with this as well? Anyway, nice work.
My machine wasn't quite up to snuff to run it at full FPS, but in the few bits I got out of it, I thought it was really fun and entertaining. Looks impressively great and I loved the atmosphere!

Gameplay was kind of meh. The theme had nothing to do with the game, and it was generic FPS. However, you totally nailed it on sounds and ambience. If you were stuck in a larger room with the snow monsters busting it, this game would have been the best one I've seen.
Someone else mentioned that you might have used the unity asset store. The food and snowmonsters look like you made them. They totally look like they were assembled in less than 48 hours. Considering how much more detailed the sky, terrain and trees look than the enemies (the ones that SHOULD be the most detailed), I have a feeling that those assets were imported. This technically should be a jam entry with graphics taken off as a judging category.
Awesome twist on a survival game. I loved the art and atmosphere. Trying to find all the hidden rations in order to survive promotes a little bit of replayability too. I was hoping to find some more enemy types, but in no way did that detract from the experience.

Nice graphics, and atmosphere. I event started feeling a little cold maybe. Sound fx are funny. I didn't make it to da choppa, I had 9 seconds left. Good game!
The little chopper that couldn't… even with the hidden stash of 2 extra rations, my white vision victory is rudely interrupted by me dying. Oh well, I earned my one achievement in this game I wanted: falling off the edge of the earth.
Good work for a compo entry, great style and visual setup, curious how far you would've come with one more day!

Nice entry. Great way to make sound by yourself. The game play was engaging , reminds me of The Long Dark. The particle was decent.
Nice audio ("mouth shotgun" :-) ), and great visuals in the forest. Death results in black screen. Bars seem to be moving a bit too quickly and restore too slowly. Amount of "hunger" restored by food items feels quite small, and cold bar fills up slowly as well. Main menu could use some sort of logo, it feels like it was placed at the last moment.
Visuals and audio are great, though.
Great models, I really wish the shotgun made a noise... would be much more juicy :D
I died and ran out of food, but I enjoyed walking around the cold area, such a nice atmosphere.
Nice graphics! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/8DA9h9mEENM
Is the name a reference to Darkest Dungeon? I like it! The game looks nice and sounds great, but I'm not really sure where to go after depleting the three obvious food stores. It seems like the cold doesn't leave you enough range to find whatever else might be out there, especially as warming up takes so long I think you only get one shot at it. Fun game though, it is very satisfying blasting the snow guys to bits.

Shotgun was really cool, nearly as cool as dying of hypothermia.
I've included it in a video with further comments here, which should be up very shortly here. https://youtu.be/Afy4WAZrS2s

I wish the warmness would go up faster while in the cabin, but this is pretty well done!
The sound design is hilarious, the shotgun sound is great. Good work overall, this was a pretty well made thing for a solo entry! It's nice to see a game that isn't confined to one room, yet stays in the theme. :)
