Really cool sound toy, love the art style, trying to be it's own thing, very different from a lot of the more conventional stuff people do.

Really cool sound toy, love the art style, trying to be it's own thing, very different from a lot of the more conventional stuff people do.
Like the idea of giving people lovely hair, while it is another platformer, it has a lot of charm.
Yeah it's so unoptimized, I'm throwing around a whole bunch of rigidbodies in silly ways, hopefully it gets the concept over though.
In my mind it was like the film it.
Cool little gameplay mechanic, I like how the keys are mapped to thrusters, as opposed to direction.
I really liked this, although it was quite simple, it had a lot of charm, and felt good to play.
Pretty cool, I like the play field being circle, felt like looking in to a tiny world.
Great concept in general, worked well, I sometimes felt that death was a little unfair, but I enjoyed it a lot regardless.
I love the world, I also appreciate that you've made something a bit different which is really cool, its a bit like a 3d defender but with more beef, would be cool to see a version with some more action game mechanics. :)
Very cool game, plays like a mashup of ikaruga and tempest, and is just as challenging!
I really like the graphics, I actually did think it was a little funny, all the guys rocking up with "FIGHT" written on them. Maybe it could use a little work in general but I enjoyed it for what it is.
Really great visuals, and the audio is also pretty gosh darn good too.
An extremely stylish and well executed take on a classic.
Among the best entries I've played. really cool, tight responsive controls, interesting physics, very clean visuals, and an overall very fun game.
I love the mood of this.
I like the concept a lot, all in all a cool game, quite a lot of work has been put in to the levels too.
Looks really nice, like a bit of procedural generation too!
AN FMV GAME?!?!
Good job guys really cool to see this kinda thing being made, I ran in to a few issues with it, but other than that was a fun time.
I like the feel of the butt stomp move, that was cool. fun little platformer.
Thanks for the feedback sPOCKEr2, I feel the controls are where the game is, but I didn't really have any time to add a proper tutorial, so sorry if you had a tough time with them.
I think that if the controls were just standard WASD, the game would be very dull, it might take another try for it to click.
SuerIzzo thanks for the feedback, CYGLiDE is now a proper side project or me i think.
aemiliu5 sorry you encountered bugs! The collision detection doesn't take in to account speed, so it breaks at high speeds, I'll fix that in a future update, ugh it's like 1 line of code!
Ahh that perlin noise trick is fantastic and simple! I'm using just a bunch of short raycasts, and they don't change in length given your speed / framerate, hence the dodgy collisions. Great advice thank you very much!
Also I'm reminded I need to play your game andyman.
The visuals and overall unique identity of this make it really stand out, its a very well executed idea. The big red hand was terrifying!
Man this game is cool as hell, I love the corruption happening and it influencing things like the screen shake and audio. The minimalist design felt at times like an inverse tempest. The audio was also built in to the design of the game.
Probably my fav LD game so far.
P cool game, Like the black and red art style, slicey katana chochop.
Really love the visuals, and overall mood, feels like reading a storybook.
The visuals are very much my thing, good "spin" (haha) on the genre too. Feels very complete.
Really tight idea, works well, good little two player game, would be nice to have some kind of single player too.
Looks great, it's really cool what you do with 2D in 3D.
Good game all around, if only I could oraoraora, or stop time.
Good little game, feels quite complete, the shift between classes mechanic is pretty cool.
Yeah cool game, I like how everything is using the same control set up and the context changes.
Cool game, I can see the beginnings of something really good.
Cool game, an interesting take on the "shape fitting" genre, I like the modifiers a lot and they caught me out a whole bunch. I like the audio as well it was kinda a bit funny. All in all I enjoyed this game a bunch.
I had a genuine fun time playing this game. Like the humour!
This game had its own charm to it, I like what you guys were going for, felt actiony liked the shift mechanic,
Such a full complete little game, with a bunch of different mechanics in a short space of time, visually minimalist, but looking great, and the audio linked in very well.
The most fun I've had pushing food headed men.
Really fun game, love the music, good concept, love the cute money friend. One of my favs so far.
Really like the visuals in this, the game was quite comical in a slicey way too.
Pretty cool game / games, I felt that there were some interesting parts, and I like the idea of multiple minigames being shifts. Style is nice too.
I really liked the mood, nice little experience and was pretty.
I wish we had pizza at our jam site.
I really love the little characters in this.
I'll bookmark this for when I get a Vive, it looks great though, love the concept, and execution looks good from what I can see.
Cool little game would of liked to see more polish as it's quite promising.
Good first try, would like to see you do some more.
A solid idea executed well, I feel that a little more look ahead distance would of helped, but in general I had fun. I like the shoot to move part.
Feels like micro machines, yeah! I think the steam effect adds quite a bit, the minimalism is very charming to me. I would of maybe liked to see another mechanic to make it more your own, but as it is, it's very fun, playable, and great two player game. I'd like to echo the collision point too. Fantastic that it runs on tablet too!
I like the writing in this, it feels like a game thats had a lot of creative input from both of you. Bags of charm as always, very pretty, has it's own sense of humour which I'm in to. :)
Really love the OS and cracktro scene things you've added in. Feels very cohesive as a short love letter to the Atari ST. Would of loved to see those little guys you can goomba stomp from turrican in it! Also the another world bit was cool. I feel that although it's obviously derived from other games, you've done just enough to make it your own, I guess I would like more of that?
Kudos for Pico-8 btws! Cool concept, feels like a learning game from the 80's, but yeah would be nice if i could type in LOVE, or HEART or similar and love happens haha.
Feels like a lot of love has been put in to the game, congrats to all of you! I love the art and music. feels very atmospheric. I would echo the skippable text thing, and maybe have an option to "settle in" for winter, 20 minutes is a long time! Well done to all of you, you've done a great job.
Little unsure what was happening at first, the physics are really cool, has an interesting idea in there, feel it might not be as immediately obvious as what to do as it could of been, but overall i had fun with it, the graphics are very charming.
It's a simple mechanic, but you've put in some much juice, that it feels great, because of that it's a lot of fun, looks fantastic too, good job!
(pst. make a web build)
Very cohesive, impressive for a compo game too! Ahh I remember the days well, you'd be asleep at 5am from a hard day down the mines, then up again at 5:30am for another hard day thanks to the *ahem* knocker upper.
Feels a little like Paperboy in the way you're doing a job that is rated daily. I liked this! well done!
I really like the animals that attack your village, good job in general, hopefully we'll see more games from you!
Very relaxing, and a good concept in general, I was a little unsure what went where at first, but the different fireworks had a lot of charm, as did the animal friends.
I like the idea of manipulating the level data in a puzzle setting, thats very good, I found the tools a little confusing, but I think with a bit more time, and a bit more player guidance for hoe the tools work, could be a even better.
Cool game, i like the tough girl, she is cool, I think this is very gameboy, would be interesting to have a gameboy control scheme, or, indeed, if it was made in something like GBDK for actual hardware.
The actual gameplay was an good concept, feels very experimental, I like experimental! Visuals are fantastic in my opinion.
I didn't get far enough to see a boss, but I did have a good time with it, good job overall.
No worries! My pleasure!
Oh my god the final room had me stumped for about 20 mins! I enjoyed it quite a lot, I do enjoy the odd block puzzle, I was in to the dialog in it, I like the derpy sphinx too much probs.
I think maybe some kind of diagonal arrow to communicate diagonal jumps are possible would help perhaps? All in all good job.
Just to clarify I played the post jam version.
Thanks for the feedback all! i've just uploaded a build with more lenient inputs, better performance, and the Arrows are labeled W,A,S & D to make things a bit more understandable. Thanks for playing! Hope these address your issues @Alphish and @Culturebosh_games
Oh my god those mouth creatures are terrifying! Feels quite action packed, I think a big part of that is the music, I like the axe swings and radar, pretty tight game in general. Worked well with a controller, but there are some issues with capturing the mouse in the web build. but overall a great game.
I am a big fan of abstract control schemes so i liked this, I didn't actually get off the first level though! Maybe making the firework "shot" a bit wider would help? Either way, cool game would like to see it developed a little further.
Love the visual style, looks very pretty, good use of lighting, runs a little slowly on my machine sadly, love the maze game, looting concept, a bit like pac man, if pac man was indiana jones. The "trap" mechanic is also well implemented and a lot of thought has been put in to the level design with the trap interaction.
I think the lighting are sapping fps a bit for me? might be worth doing a build with the lighting baked in?
You guys have done a great job though, and this looks like a lot of fun with 4 people.
Oli is drinking, Jack is using energy, Will has died. Sounds about right.
Good job though, love the art style, the day night lighting and shadows.
Very Zelda 1,( i think it's the rolling from screen to screen?) very simple, but I like the different enemy AI, feels like a simple retro game, and this has it's own charm, great it works in HTML5 too. Good job!
I got all the keys, would of been nice to get an ending screen as a reward I guess?
An interesting collection of tight mechanics, linked by a charming visual style. I think I failed every single one, but I had fun with them, all. I think the cannon one was the most interesting to me.
Has a lot of charm, good ol' floppy, has a unique feeling of chaos, which is good, and i love the squiggle vision! Good job overall.
Really well made compact, well executed game. The punches felt really harsh! I've made more indepth comments in this video. https://youtu.be/GvnbFVF6-m4
I really love the player model in this. I've made more indepth comments in this video. https://youtu.be/GvnbFVF6-m4

Shotgun was really cool, nearly as cool as dying of hypothermia.
I've included it in a video with further comments here, which should be up very shortly here. https://youtu.be/Afy4WAZrS2s
Thanks for all the feedback guys, yeah, if I got more time, I would make the car physics a lot tighter, and the camera would be a lot smarter, the art was done over 2 days, and the code was done in a day for this game, and it was just me, so I guess I didn't have time to tweak the physics as much as I wanted, also the camera system could be a lot smarter and smoother.
In retrospect, I feel Cozy taxi did a good job getting across what I wanted to in the time I had, but yeah I understand there are issues with it, but I'm still very proud of what I've achieved.
Think this one did well for mood, like the story!
I've included it in a video with further comments here, which should be up very shortly here. https://youtu.be/Afy4WAZrS2s

Very polished cohesive game, I enjoyed it a lot. I go in to further detail in this video. https://youtu.be/yRx4raYvkf8
The art was very nice, as was the music, had a good feel to it. I really got some mad speed, and once i figured out double jumping I was away! Nice to have 3 diff levels too. Feels very complete with menus and everything, which is an achievement. All in all I enjoyed it :)
Really innovate, interesting concept. I go in to more detail in this video. https://youtu.be/v2p2lrV26C4

Cool game, I did a little video with my thoughts. https://youtu.be/2E_VB598v2c
Thanks for all the in depth feedback everyone, particualy @ovidios and @terracottafrog You're dead on with everything you're saying, I'd like to spend some more time with the mechanics, but I kinda spent too long making things look nice and making music and stuff. such is a game jam.
I'm a programmer by trade, and recently I've been using game jams to work on my art style, 3d modelling, and music. I feel some basic work on the camera, and game feel could result in this being a much better game really, but ho hum, I still love it.
The idea to fit in with thee theme was to fly about the planet with stereotyped bunnies cheering you on as you fly across the world, but I was a little too ambitious, so I just used clouds instead.
Honestly the actual gameplay was done in about 3 hours lol, I'll try and manage my time a bit better next time, and put a bit more effort in to the game feel.
V pretty game. I did a little video with my thoughts. https://youtu.be/2E_VB598v2c
One of my favs. I did a little video with my thoughts. https://youtu.be/2E_VB598v2c

Well written, mysterious game! I go in to more detail in this video. https://youtu.be/v2p2lrV26C4
I think there's something fun here, sure it's a little rough, but I like the building things and gathering stuff. I felt maybe I needed more direction as a player, but thats how I normally get with crafting games. Looking forward to the next game you make.
I'd suggest maybe making it entirely mouse controlled?
I really like this one, it's good seeing you lot make cooler and cooler things each jam you take part it!
Really cool game with some interesting ideas. I did a little video with my thoughts. https://youtu.be/2E_VB598v2c
Love the visuals in this one, and a cool concept. I did a little video with my thoughts. https://youtu.be/2E_VB598v2c
