Lovely art, I really liked the Celtic designs on the waves. Good job!

holyblackcat 2016-04-18 12:13

Graphics is nice, but where is the theme?

By the way, it's possible to give away more fish than you get, resulting in negative income, lol.

NIce little game, especially enjoyed the diorama-like visuals. Reminded me of some really old kids shows. Is there a way to fail the night part of the game?

Love the art style, audio would have been helped. Not really sure if there was an ending or not.

gamepopper 2016-04-18 12:38

I really like the aesthetics of this, has the feel of a cardboard cut out diorama. It would have been really nice to hear some celtic music and ocean waves to go along with it.

It would have been nice if there was more of a challenge with fishing, such as moving fish.

Art is amazing!

tomdeal 2016-04-18 14:07

Nice graphics! The gameplay could be a bit more challenging.

pikmin4000 2016-04-18 14:18

Art and animations were smooth so good job on that! Gameplay was repetitive however. Perhaps add some variety in the way you can pick up the fishes or add fishes that would try to avoid the ship?

Art is phenomenal -- really can't do any better there. Mood is great and you're so good at art you managed to convey mood, which is unbelievable to me. No theme and music, so I have to penalize there. Really amazing otherwise. You should try to add some audio IMHO. Good story.

What a beautiful little game.

lafunk 2016-04-18 17:42

Nice art going on! Gameplay a bit slow; I appreciate the variation, though. The cutscenes are a great addition :)

joekinley 2016-04-18 18:13

The art is amazing.
But the game is a little weird. First I just died, then I read and got through the first day, but then died right in the second night. No idea why.
But it was a lovely drawn piece of art. Great job.

The art is wonderful and would benefit greatly from sound. This would hit the atmosphere out of the ball park!

coderjoe 2016-04-19 01:45

Nice job! Great graphics

brainybeard 2016-04-19 09:26

Obviously the art style is incredibly pretty. Smooth controls and a great polished product! Nice work.

aemiliu5 2016-04-19 10:38

nice game!
art is really interesting, though i couldn't find the theme...

jimjam 2016-04-19 12:05

Stunning visuals! This would be nice with some more engaging gameplay, but I love the tone and mythical styling. Nice one!

ocarson 2016-04-19 14:50

Really love the visuals, and overall mood, feels like reading a storybook.

thirsty 2016-04-20 00:14

really nice visuals

adamprack 2016-04-20 01:52

The look is gorgeous, the writing is nice. I didn't really see the theme and the mechanics could use some love, but it sets a mood wonderfully!

jupiter_hadley 2016-04-21 17:30

Lovely looking and I like the story around it too. I included it in my video compilation series of Ludum Dare games, if you’d like to check them out :) https://youtu.be/PdAuylbesI0

I can only really judge the art and narrative because mine bugged out, but I've seen you play it when it was being made so I know for certain it worked once upon a time.

Art style looked like it popped straight out of a children's book and the pattern texture just made it look so fantastic. Using the old legends of [insert accent here] KERNOW, it's giving me a very south-west version of a CartoonSaloon animation, which is never a bad thing.

As you know, I played it on stream @ 55:50: http://www.hitbox.tv/video/991443

Cute drawings! But when I lost once in the web version, I cannot restart the game. Also, I think it would be better if the UI for the night time gameplay for balancing was more intuitive or with more explanations. I found the two independent bars too confusing, and did not understand what to do. Also, permadeath did not really help.
