Fun little game!
Easily my favourite game of the competition so far. Great story, very funny, and the logic puzzles are solid. Awesome.
Cool take on the theme, nicely implemented. A bit depressing but I guess that's the point :)
Nice game. Tongue didn't always seem to snag the flies.
Moving didn't seem to work for me - I could only fire on the spot. :/
I enjoyed bombing the goofy monster! It was a bit tricky to get the hang of landing the shot, but I managed to get there without destroying toooooo much of the city.... :)
Looks great, the maze section at the end was pretty challenging - good job!

Ambitious idea for a gamejam, so kudos for getting a working mini-DK going! Agree with the other commenters that the UI could've been cleaner, but good UI is a *lot* of work and it got the job done :)
I'd also suggest perhaps slightly more monstrous sprites for the workers/minions - the abstract colour sprays didn't really convey what was going on as well as they might have.

Good idea, and good execution too. Felt like you could win "by chance" quite easily by simply being in the right place at the right time, but it was a cool vibe, watching other cells fight and stealing from them :) Happened to me too, so I guess what goes around comes around!

The mechanic wasn't obvious at all at first glance, but I eventually figured out why I kept dying and then very much enjoyed it. Great audio and a lovely finish :)

Nice idea but it's very hard to see what attacks you're cooking up or learn what made them fizzle. Great music though!
A little confusing, but the planes looked great swooping around. I couldn't really read what the green squares were or where the attacks were (from either me or the planes). Maybe a few quick particle effects would make that clearer?

The ratcatcher is a weird one because he only spawns when you have 6+ slums and satisfying him quickly upgrades your slums to villas - so he may actually make himself impossible to please!
If I had more time, I'd definitely have put time in to try to make sure you always had something new to do every round, and you could always please all of your visitors. Even so, the "core path" of key visitors are the only ones who will win/lose the game for you so it should always be winnable if you focus on them.
Sorry for the red/green unreadability, nintendoeats! Do you know if there are commonly-accepted high contrast colours to go for as an alternatives in the future?
