Definitely the best entry I've seen so far. Pretty much maxed out on innovative, fun, theme, graphics, audio and mood. Graphics are actually perfect for this game. Music with each movement feels so cool. Honestly, if it were up to me, you would like be the winner of Ludum Dare. Though it's very early in my voting, it's hard to imagine that someone could top your entry. Amazing!
Cool game. Plays solid and responsively, and the puzzles are reasonably challenging without getting unfairly difficult.
I really loved the unique visuals, they added a ton of personality and uniqueness to the game, at first, but after about 5 minutes I had to stop.
Good job!
Awesome graphics, but unplayable [for me] due to the flickering

great job! I love the pencil graphics and the weird music
That audio is really atmospheric, love it, and that art work is awesome. I'm not sure if the flickering should be toned down a bit? but overall A1.
Really nice mood by combining the art and sounds!
Really really nice. A mind-bender in the right way, quite challenging and great music.
I didn't quite understand the rules for when you could shift, and when you could not - is it just that you can't tag-back without the help of the monster thing?
The art and music are very well done and awesomely disorientating. The puzzles are interesting and I really like the use of the torus/repeating space to solve them. Really great work!
Awesome graphics, nice puzzles, but the flickering was a bit confusing.
Played it on Safari and didn't have sound. Good work!!
Wow, thanks for very encouraging feedback! I do undestand that the flickering is annoying -- but the game is set on a flickering torus, so it just has to flicker ; (it flickers at ~7Hz, which is not a coincidence).
I consider writing "The 3 Rules of 2-Color Shapeshiftin' in a Microworld on a Non-Flickering Torus" some day (should take about 48h :)).
@TLansdale -- the unshift machine is now sad because you thought it's a monster! to see the rules just press F1 or h :)
wow, I like the platformer-puzzle games, and this it's a good combination of them with the shapeshifter theme.
It's hard to play in the first time (because the level repeated three times in the screen is confusing), but after 2 or 3 levels I can play better and I enjoyed more to play it.
Very great job.

oops!
wow, I got an email from biz.nf that they have removed my account... just created github page, updated the link. sorry, I didn't expect the spanish inquisition.
The rules for shifting shapes were not clear enough, should have ramped up a little or introduced concepts via early puzzles. The constantly changing background hurt my eyes.

I like this, it is at least in my view, new and unique. I like the art style, music and puzzles, overall great game.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)

the handdrawn assets and the music gives the game a special feel. Maybe thins are moving a lot, but in general is supergreat
Very different but entry! I liked the gameplay and the graphics and the music and sound meshed really well with it.
Great concept and take on theme. Those flickering tiles really did a number on my eyes though.

The gameplay is ok, but why subject our eyes to so much pain? I think the flickering effect might have been reduced if the camera didn't also move so abruptly.

Really cool art style, I love the way it's infinitely repeating in every direction and it like.. hurt my eyes to look at... but in the best way possible? I don't know how to quantify that.
I only wish that it didn't make me start over when I lost all my lives - a game over is no fun. Great job

Delightfully surreal. Innovation 5/5! Well done.
(A bit hard on the eyes. Maybe that could be improved by reducing the contrast in the background.)
Cool game, interesting concept, please have a look on my entry, too :)
Looks really good, I like the graphical style, audio, and mood and am a big fan of puzzle games. Unfortunately the flickering was to much for me to be able to stick with the game long enough to give it the attention it deserved. I guess I'm getting old.

This atmosphere is somewhat magical.
