I quite like the graphics ;)
There's no point in the game yet, I suppose it's not finished.
You should really add a 'Close game' button since it starts in fullscreen.

Thanks, will do.

I really love the game good job.

trasevol_dog 2016-04-18 08:57

I loved the Spore cell stage too!
The shifting of the different body parts feels like a good simple alternative to the original drag and drop system and is actually pretty fun!
The cell's movement has way too much inertia imo.
It's a shame you couldn't finish. :(

thats fun! good base for a fun game...
to have more orientation it would be good to zoom out a little and have a minimap - is there a limit to the map aquarium walls and the outer world?
give it nicer look, more dynamic "evolve" possibilities that have effect on your environment and time will slip away while playing!
great work!!!

@simon, there are no boundaries to the player's movement; the walls are just indicators of where the AI will wrap around to the other side. I want to make the wrapping seamless from the player's perspective eventually.

I've seen this idea a lot already. :/

tlansdale 2016-04-18 12:50

Haha, I loved the goofy little fish faces. Shame there's no game there - it was quite fun swimming around!

pyrosneak 2016-04-18 15:50

Kinda like a cross between spore and agar.io. nice one !

obsessivenotion 2016-04-19 06:51

Graphics was decent with a really good take on the theme. The movement of the player was horrible but I think if the game gets more work to let you grow and eat other smaller fish it would have been a nice little game.

Evolving the character was a bit funny :D

rossborchers 2016-04-19 16:31

I had fun seeing what came out of the evolution changes. I would love to see how it impacts the gameplay.

Nice graphics, great movement. This is a really good implementation of the idea in 48 hours.

faulkin 2016-04-20 13:12

Nice graphics, shame you couldn't get it finished.

tomdeal 2016-04-20 13:15

The graphics are neat :-) It's unfortunate there is no gameplay in it, would have loved to kill some of those other guys.

linver 2016-04-20 13:18

Nice style.. but you spended all time for it :'(

herszkorn-sacha 2016-04-21 08:27

It reminds me spore ^^ Such a shame you didn't have time to finish it...

fanieg 2016-04-22 18:11

Wish there was more of a game here. Really liked the mood and look of this

tayl1r 2016-04-23 13:31

Great. Not finished but shows promise.

gurkenlabs 2016-04-25 10:33

the navigation was not that precise, but really a nice start for a game!

shizor 2016-04-28 08:50

Good use of shapes and colors, would really like to see this game in a further stage!

marc-fichtel 2016-05-03 12:32

Definitely has potential, you should keep working on it! Like the graphics and general direction of it tho.
