I forget to mention that to E key is to press button
I found the game a bit difficult, but once I figured out the controls it was okay. Controls felt a bit floaty though.
When you lose and play again, the message to press esc stays on screen. You may also want to make the web version link directly to the html file so it is easier to play.
THis was challenging!
I like the creature!
Jump, frogman! Jump!
@mantis I should rename it mutated frog
Fun platformer with a hint of stealth. I enjoyed it.
There were some places you could wall jump and "escape" the level permanently.
It seems to be hard to get a "high" jump, is there something I'm missing? Nice idea though!
Nice game, I enjoyed it a lot. :D
@TLansdale the code to determine when to jump is determined by the OnCollisonEnter function ( if your not familiar with unity you won't understand what I am talking about); When you touch a block you can jump. But to jump again you need to re-enter the block to jump. The trick is to do that in midair.
Interesting concept, but I had trouble with hit detection, judging when I was or wasn't going to contact one of the sensor bars.
A fun mix of platforming and a bit of stealth, well done! The controls could be a bit tighter, as it sort of feels like you're floating whenever you jump, although multi-jumping was still fun to try to get right.
I must admit I had the most fun trying to escape the level by continuously wall-jumping and then bypassing all of the traps.
You have to discover it pretty early, but it took a while to figure out that wall-jumping was a possibility.
I got the feeling that since failure wasn't instant after touching a laser, there was some way of avoiding capture, but i couldn't figure it out.
Still, i kind of liked it.
Overall nice impression of this stealth like game, sometimes I have struggled to make the frogmonster jump but eventually it obeys my commands :)
Its a bit unclear where to go. At the beginning I was walking completely around the intended path without noticing. Also the controls are a bit weird, but after I understood them it was nice, just a bit hard
