I love it, pretty interesting to avoid enemies while trying
to hit them with a bomb that is next to you. However, the game seems to freeze when I press space. Is this supposed to happen?
Regarding the OP saying that on Linux the game is "weird and it sometimes doesn't work"; It's working perfectly fine for me, launched a couple of times.

Works on my Linux perfectly well (Ubuntu 64bit).

Super cool idea! I found it pretty difficult to remember to hit the direction opposite where I wanted to go :p
I'm going to assume that UFO's spawning in all 4 corners on every frame after a while wasn't intended behavior. Or is it? I'm not sure... (Happened after one bomb on Hard, and at about 25 points on Medium.)
Anyway. Killing things with your thrusters. So counter-intuitive yet rewarding. quite the fun idea. Good job!

Thanks for the feed back, it's really nice to see that people like my first ludum dare entry!
Pretty Average Game. Also has some glitches.

Fun idea :)
At first it was difficult for me to get used to movement but when i got it, it was really rewarding.
Fun and good concept. Kept forgetting that the directions were inverted though!
Also, thanks for pointing out the mouse lock issue in my game. I believe I've fixed it now.

The game is fun to play, but i think it is very simple for the time span that we were given to make the games. i think that you could have added a lot more content. BUT it is good GRATS.

Cool little gameplay mechanic, I like how the keys are mapped to thrusters, as opposed to direction.
Is the name a reference to Project ORION?
I liked that the aliens got more and more frequent over time - but they could perhaps try to avoid one another.

YES! Someone got the reference! Good job!

Super fun. Despite your bomb explanation, I felt like I was flying around and trying to cook enemies with my engines. A polished version of this would definitely steal a few hours of my life. Good job!
At first I was confused why you pressed a direction to go in the opposite one. Then when I actually read the instructions it all clicked. It is counter intuitive to press in the opposite direction of the enemy to get closer to him, then press towards him to kill him, which moves you away.
Fun and +1 for having a menu! Menus make everything seem polished.
I like the mechanic, but it could definitely benefit from further sound effects and music. The game plays very nicely though. I feel like you put together a solid, if simple, game, well done
Controls take some time to learn, I did not expect that kind of response - but pretty fun. A little jerky, though - could benefit from velocity acceleration over time.
The idea itself is great and well executed, congrats!

Nice idea, hard to get used to the controls though. Ran find on Linux for me (Bodhi 32bit)
Interesting idea! Though it needs to be polished - the enemies have pretty schematic behavior so one can rip that off to own advantage. Cheers!
I like the concept quite a bit. It's innovative and interesting. However, the choice to reverse the controls feels a bit contrived and not very fun, though I understand the physical reasoning.

Really difficult, as it's kind of counter intuitive to move in the opposite direction of your input.
Great effort for creating the game by yourself in under 48 hours.

Takes some time to get used to the controls but I do like the idea of using your only means of defence to move your ship.
