Nice idea doing world in paper sack.
Simple, short and sweet. The game is indeed harder than it looks, I couldn't keep more than 7 people alive at any time, they do require those steaks fast.
The window size allowed for an easier gameplay since I didn't really have to move much at all to reach the guys or the dinosaur whenever it appeared. Sometimes when clicking on an item, it appeared to not pick it up, I wonder if the hitbox is too small or something else was going on.
All in all, a very quick and short game, but with nice stuff going on for it, like the music, which stuck in my head for a bit after finishing the game. Great effort!
Cute little game. :) I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VA-2r5Ryiv8
I really like this one, it's good seeing you lot make cooler and cooler things each jam you take part it!
Awesome! Found this much to late, would have loved to give a rating! To my knowledge there are at least two more LD38 games made with Scratch btw, [Happy Little Guys](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/happy-little-guys) from [Smunders](https://scratch.mit.edu/users/smunders/) and [Little Mouse Planet](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/little-mouse-planet) from [me](https://scratch.mit.edu/users/frodewin/).
I played your game just today, awesome idea! The idea is awesome and the graphics are so cute! I had some problems understanding the use of the magnifying glass though. While I have to click people to feed them, the magnifying glass needs to be hovered over the monster, not clicked because this removes it. Since the effect of killing the monster takes some time, it is very hard to determine if one is using the glass correctly or not. Moreover, I would recommend to reduce the game time, since the score anyway mostly depends on your action in the last 20 seconds.
