Sorry, I don't know how to solve your problem, but at least you can rewrite game in another programming language or try to use some game making software.
This game became for me "Hack JS code" challenge :)
Graphics is better than in Dwarf Fortress.
Good mechanics and design. Music is a bit more aggressive for such story, I guess. But game is still engaging.

Thanks for the game, that dolphin was really scary :) I didn't understand how to use hammer and nails, but atmosphere is quite interesting. Sound of walking a bit too loud.

Thanks for your feedback. I also like mechanics of your game too, it's quite different from mine. Maybe you should make walls more obvious, they are not so readable in this version. Anyway, I would like to see a full post-compo version.

Hey, I also want to make a game with dinosaurs about time travelling (but switching will be between time of dinosaurs and Stone Age)! Anyway, great game with beautiful graphics and neat sounds. I love this Reginald character and his weapon.

Nice ASCII map and interesting gameplay. Like automatonvx I died for no reason, had about 90 health. Anyway, great entry, distinguishing by it's style.

Great atmosphere of fear, but objects are not loss-proof: first time I thrown the flashlight and didn't have a possibility to take it again. Nice game though.
