Whoops good pick up!
Great and unique twist on the theme! Love the art style, and the music is fantastic. It's pretty challenging, but after a while you get the hang of it. I could see this being a game commissioned by Adult Swim or something of the sort.

Fun game! Nice polish too, and music. One thing I would change is make the controls all on one hand--up for jump and down for encourage, at least optionally. I like the slapstick execution of Santa's "encouragement" and also the production animation.
Nice graphics and backstory, but the gameplay is uncomfortable. The angle you throw them at is awkward.

Really fun game i have noticed that it works a lot smoother on chrome than on firefox. I have checked your source code maybe you could use more sprite sheet instead of keeping all images separately? Good work!

When I landed my first bunch of elves in the Workshop, and saw the explosion of Red, Green and White I thought I had killed my elves :)
Overall this is a really cool game! excellent entertainment.

Loved the theme and execution. Great graphics and audio for a compo entry. But what is up with the controls? It is very counter intuitive. Why not just assign up arrow to jumping and space to hit?
Fair point about the controls. Initially "up" was going to be a "look up", similar to sonic/mario of last snes/genesis days, to help pan around the environment - hence keeping the action keys keeps seperate. "A"+"S" seem to be a common alternative for web games, emulators, etc. It definitely doesn't account for alternate keyboard layouts for example. But you do what you can in 4h hours ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lol, poor elves! Graphics and sounds are nice, good job. I particularly liked the gift fountain that comes from the room when the elves are working.
That was really fun compo entry, and pretty challenging ! The idea is lovely, really funny and pretty well executed and the pixel art is pretty eye-candy.
Took me a little while to understand the goal, but after that it was very funny !

This is awesome, really fun, game! I really like how simple yet challenging game it can be smacking all those elfs back to work. I love also how Santa wobbles when he walks. Overall fantastic stuff!
Awesome pixel art, and good use of theme. Hitting elves was a little unpredictable but that was part of the fun :D
