CARP! Link didn't have a closing slash, fixed now! Sorry.
I really liked it, very atmospheric. Took me a few minutes to figure out the solution but I felt really smart once I did so. Great use of audio.
There was some z-fighting and flickering textures (nothing too distracting though).
I didn't score it because I reckon I'm meant to see more than just a starfield skybox around me?
I only see
I only see a starfield skybox... Is this intended ?
Little laggy/low framerate and i have monster pc.
Hard for me)))
I can only see one starry sky texture T_T. Screenshots are nice though.
Just for a heads up, the plain starfield skybox happens with Firefox. With Chrome I see the room, but for me even then it's ridden with z-fighting, black overlays and unseeable textures that it was practically unplayable. Hopefully others have better luck.
Well damn, I'll try and fix these issues, can't repro them here.
There is a lot of flickering problem, had to reload the game 3 - 4 times to see the symbols.
Still had flickering but managed to finish the game.
Nice puzzle, what's in that white world , wanna see !
Nice! Very much like The Room, down to the music and the mood. Precisely my kind of game.
I suppose it really fits the theme too, as it presented what could have been "one room" from a larger game of puzzles, with one in each room.
The puzzle was a lot of fun and made me feel a bit clever once I solved it, tho of course coming in as an avid player of games like The Room, one quickly gets an idea of what to do, since the concept is so similar, haha.
Wonderful entry. One of my favourites so far. High scores from me!
P.S. I didn't break any collisions. c;
Really enjoyed this game. Agree with Avant-Marde, it's very much like the Room in sound and atmosphere, but I think that's to it's credit. Well done on a solid game.
Great graphics and audio, nice clever puzzle design, but too clever for me! I was stuck for about 30 mins and had to get my wife (Nixxor) to try and solve it... which she did very quickly :)
Thanks for all the nice words! I did play The Room 1, quite a while ago, so I wasn't sure if I should reference it in the text because I couldn't remember how close it was to this.
Nice graphics and atmosphere, the puzzle was beyond me though :(
Cool puzzle game idea! :)
cool i finish it. you need to read it along the way of the instruction.. good game!
Really nice, the puzzles actually took me a while to solve :D. It's also really cool to see a non unity WebGL game, good job!
I Like it!
Loved it. Reminds me of the Witness a bit and coming from me that's a great compliment (Jonathan blow is my idol as a designer)
Pros:
-Perfect length and puzzle difficulty for a game jam judging
-Beautiful aesthetic and mood
-The use of symbols was a great choice-- I could speak any language ans still play this game
-The symbols themselves were designed well: specific enough to not require a Fez like alphabet cube to reference and yet simple enough that I could not have confused the direction symbols for the referential ones
- Made me feel smart :)
Cons:
-I wish there was more or a variation on what I'd learned as a final puzzle to get the door to open.
Excellent work.
Yeah, I really wanted a 3rd test to wrap it up but I just barely got it finished in time as is. I am expanding on this though. Thanks for the review!
interesting concept, good job!
Very odd. Couldn't move but, if I change the tab, the picture would change :/ (obviously a bug or some incompatibility :( )
Solid puzzle, it gave all the clues needed so good job there... it seems that other entries with puzzles assume that the players know something, causing confusion.
Great puzzle, sound, and mood!
All I get is a black screen with music. I waited for a long time to see if anything happened. It didn't.
Super great little puzzle game. Well done.
Ok, thank you for fixing it, now I can play & rate it!
Safe to say, it's a short but sweet little puzzle game. I really like the graphics, audio and the whole mood you get from it, and made with a self-made framework too! Amazing.
I actually solved the puzzle very quickly (a good sign that I've been coding too much lately :P), but I really like the way you presented it with getting all the needed clues from the environment. The third puzzle would have been a nice cherry on top, but it works well like this anyway.
It's a really solid game, and thank you again for making it and taking the time to fix it.
Cool game, I tried playing the tunes on the boards but nothing happen, I guess I'm not smart enough to figure out what to do haha, anyways great job!
Very nice! Good atmosphere, and the puzzle was entertaining as well. Impressive that it's made with your own tech :)
Very pleasant music and athmosphere! But what is it in the next room ?!
Nice and polished with great graphics and audio. Solved the puzzle but had to take a photo with my phone hehe. good work!
Really cool entry, dude! I love puzzle games and although this wasn't the most difficult puzzle ever, I still struggled with figuring out the pattern. Too bad we only got one puzzle. The graphics were really nice. The game loaded super fast. And the audio design was superb. Turn this into a longer game with some sinister background story, I'd buy it! BTW, I managed to glitch the game and looked from the outside. Funniest part was I couldn't get back and had to refresh the page, haha. Good luck!
Interesting concept with puzzle, although has performance problems.
Thanks for feedback on my entry. The game looks polished, but I was hoping for a bit more/longer puzzles. Took me a few minutes to solve it.
Well done.
