Any chance of an OSX build?

moonlightbomber 2016-12-13 09:34

Is the middle finger logo intentional?

geometrix 2016-12-13 09:52

OSX build Coming Soon™!

geometrix 2016-12-13 09:52

Hah, yeah the logo is intentional. Everything is intentional, unless it's a bug :P

Well, that was an interesting experience, and also especially fun for me, since my game was also a variation over the "annoying corporate work-life" theme :)

The game had a nice sarcastic bite to it, with a lot of funny details, from the perpetual depressing news (and weather), to the strange support requests (and standardized bland response). It was depressing how fast I ended up being able to spout the standard ticket response. The "paradise" vacation simulator was also a nice touch.

My only comment is on the plot resolving - logically, the edit-command would probably have been just as effective as the delete-command (if less cathartic).

Great game/experience!

Well that game represents a bad life. It feels so depressive to live in such a tiny room...and your food is a cube.
I also love/hate the work on the computer. It is an interesting idea to compare the letters with the text.
And the beach where I cannot more buy because I am poor through the work.
Great experience. :)

pixelfan 2016-12-13 11:13

Was a nice idea, i love the history and feels, nice wooork!

stefvanschie 2016-12-13 11:19

I didn't really have a clue on how this game worked. It took me a long time to figure out how to 'go' to work and at work I didn't know what to their as well. Perhaps add some more explanation to the game. I did like the 3D style of the game, that really added to the idea.

A really interesting experience, although there doesn't seem to be much gameplay (I guess that's the point though). Some really nice visuals and visuals, they work well to create a really offputting atmosphere.

Wow, cool game! Can you actually achieve to get a volcano???? A lot of money!!!!

geometrix 2016-12-13 11:45

Good thing there's a way of getting a lot of money :P

simboubou 2016-12-13 11:50

Well, I couln't beat it, but it was very cool.

dev-dennis 2016-12-13 12:04

Great game !

It tested my patience and I'm not sure if there is a ending? But the mood and graphics are amazing. It reminded me a bit of black mirror.

Awesome job.

twistashio 2016-12-13 12:15

Hey nice game can u check out my entry i just started game development

geometrix 2016-12-13 12:16

There are a few endings! See if you can find them :D

seconddimension 2016-12-13 15:04

I loved this, reminded me of Black Mirror the TV show. Overall it was pretty depressing, and I think it achieved the mood you were going for perfectly. All the little touches were really nice, like the little flap to look down the hallway.
Is it a spoiler to say that I used CTRL+C to hack my way to a lot of money? I did want a volcano but I died of fatigue before I achieved my dreams.

vadim-ivshin 2016-12-13 19:48

Great design and experience. Should I type all these standard answers? We got VR and all but I can't just copy and paste? :)

pixel_reaper 2016-12-14 12:16

There is actually a better way to "hack" your way to more money that copy+paste ;)

kamranwali 2016-12-24 20:28

Wow, simply wow. This is one heck of a game! I really loved it. The game looks well polished. I really like the concept of the game. The atmosphere was spooky as well. The graphics and audio went to well with the game. You should really work with the game more, I have a feeling this game has potentials. Overall a well made game. Keep it up!
