LD35 — Shapeshift

Boxey by ShadowBrain 2016-05-11T01:34:00

Lots of fun! I love the consistency of the art style, and the custom controller. And great interaction system! I wasn't sure if I was throwing objects into the right area, maybe a bit more player feedback regarding that.

Lots of fun, enjoyed it quite a bit. Noticed the button broke for me after the scene change. Might want to check the button remains non-kinematic.

And thanks for using NewtonVR (Love, TTLabs)

Shadow Morph by DavidErosa 2016-05-10T23:56:00

Fun game, I could never tell if the rotation I was seeing always represented rotation on a specific axis. I wish I could see rotation on x,y,z. Maybe if I shift may gaze from the wall to the floor, it shows an additional rotation under me.

There Are Monsters (Vive) by kvanderlaag 2016-05-11T00:35:00

Lots of fun. A few things. I wish I had another, non-directional or non-visual indicator of how much time in each round was left. Maybe a countdown sound or some sort of sun rising and setting (a day for setup). And another would be the difficulty of fine control of the touch pad (I think this is more of an HTC/Valve issue than your issue).

Hole in the Wall by David Ballo 2016-05-11T01:57:00

Awesome, tons of personality in the art style. Of all the VR experiences I've tried so far the LD, this is one of the best.

The only thing I could say about it is that some music timed to the movement would be cool (a little bit of audioshield in there), and it be nice if I knew how close I was getting to the center of the holes for the hands.

[VR] Terminal Shift by AustinSpafford 2016-05-11T00:47:00

Very cool, very freaky, falling quickly like that. Played it on the Vive. Have you tried to adapt the Vive controllers to the game.

Killing with Love by Thegamerofdeath 2016-05-11T00:41:00

Interesting game. Did the creatures stop spawning after I "killed" only 1?

A suggestion, because the hearts don't spawn from a very defined point, add a laser sight to the gun, so I know where I'm aiming ,or make the gun actually "shoot" the hearts.

I love it! My only confusion was with the order of game play itself. Lots of interactables means lots of distractions, and with a lot of steps to the game play, lots of distractions aren't necessarily a great thing.

Anti-Laser-Beam-Shapeshifting-Cube VR by fuzzywobs 2016-05-11T00:56:00

Very fun idea. A few too many bug for me to fully enjoy, but I think this could be carried to a full game. If you'd like to enable collision during item interaction, I suggest you look at NewtonVR (shameless plug), which is our physics based interaction system.

Anti-Laser-Beam-Shapeshifting-Cube VR by fuzzywobs 2016-05-11T00:58:00

Oh, and a feature I would love to see is shifting the cube while holding it. Maybe with the touchpad. That would be awesome.

VR Human Tetris by sygan1 2016-05-10T23:59:00

Fun fun concept. Very difficult to execute with an Xbox controller. Had trouble controller the left arm. The mapped movements felt different from the right arm. I wonder what it would be like with a Vive, or a Kinect.
