LD33 — You are the Monster

One-monster Elite Monster Rescue Squad by rustybroomhandle 2015-08-25T00:22:00

Solid. Good music, great animations. Loving the 3D pixel-art style that Minecraft has produced. Mechanics are well-implemented. Throw some cutscenes explaining the game in, give it a few more levels, and I'd pay for this!

Welcome to Cronenburg by Galan 2015-08-26T02:38:00

Quick, simple, and fun. Controls are a little bit awkward, easy to get stuck on stuff.

Death Bus by mr.possoms 2015-08-26T02:29:00

Yeah, kind of like Spy Hunter. Nice procedural generation. Simple concept executed well. I like it!

Free Me, You Idiots! by GBGames 2015-08-26T07:16:00

Good, solid entry. Windows port is working well. Controls are a little bit awkward - difficult to click on the little villagers while they're moving. Other than that, a neat mechanic.

I feel dirty.

Royal Flesh by jcsirron 2015-08-25T00:25:00

Couldn't run it, Window opens and then gives a Visual C++ Runtime Error.

LD35 — Shapeshift

Zorg's Crash Landing by ScottP 2016-05-03T15:20:00

My fellow Earthicans!

This is hilarious. Thank you!

Boxey by ShadowBrain 2016-04-19T18:24:00

Surprisingly polished for a one-man LD entry. So meta. Much VR. Wow.

Amorphous Space Widgets by hitchh1k3r 2016-04-30T22:00:00

Thanks for stopping by and checking out our game! Sorry the download was broken when you went to give it a try; it should be fixed now!

Your game is really clever! It reminds me of Thomas Was Alone, a bit, but I really liked the mechanic whereby you're controlling multiple shapes at once. Puzzles are well-thought out, and the mechanics are clever. Very nice!

Good Old Minigolf by mard 2016-04-21T16:38:00

This was actually really fun! I particularly enjoyed the sound and music. Occasionally, the ball would get stuck after hitting it, without either shapeshifting or allowing you to hit it again; in this case, the 'r' key will reset the level without causing you to lose your progress. That should be documented somewhere!

Hole in the Wall by David Ballo 2016-04-21T16:39:00

A solid and polished VR experience. I'm shocked and amazed at how much fun this was to play, and it conforms to the theme so well! Great work.

The Flying Shape Smasher by Squatch 2016-04-21T16:43:00

Surprisingly fun given how simple it is. I also wish the sphere and the cube were different colors, but otherwise it scales difficulty well, and is pretty clever.

Public Opinion by Finn Stokes 2016-05-03T15:15:00

Neat idea that riffs off the theme in an interesting way. Reminds me of an interactive Game of Life, a bit.

Hack_Switch by IEQI 2016-05-03T15:16:00

For having no programmers on the team, this is great! It certainly looks sweet, too!

Loving the use of NewtonVR for Vive interaction. Clever take on the theme.

Anti-Laser-Beam-Shapeshifting-Cube VR by fuzzywobs 2016-04-19T18:23:00

Interesting concept; I could only get it to recognize one controller, and movement isn't very well explained. (Click touchpad to move forward?) Neat concept, though! Would be fun if collisions worked and I could use both hands.

Sidewalk Empire by TTLabs 2016-04-21T16:15:00

Like anything made with Newton VR (thanks for that, by the way), I can never resist just picking up and throwing objects around. Having a backup set of knives and things under the table was a clever bit. Overall, this was fun to play! Thank you!

LD36 — Ancient Technology

Dogman's adventures by AgentAvis 2016-08-30T16:57:00

Surprisingly fleshed-out! Some of the backgrounds kind of blend in with some of the foregrounds when things get weird (spoilers: things get weird), but other than that, it's a very solid "go-there-do-that" story game with a neat bow mechanic, nifty physics, and cool water!
