Really lovely graphics! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation [video series](https://youtu.be/5I8aoDLW98E), if you’d like to take a look :)

This is probably the most performant/smooth-working Unity WebGL entry I've ever played. The shaders/colours have a great retro/futurefunk vibe.
I think the only thing I would want to change was a greater feeling of precision with the projectiles, but I do appreciate that they aren't super hitscan/quake-y.
This was awesome! I love the graphics and the audio. I found that the bullets curving around the planet was really clever and I found that the enemies really funny and fun to shoot. Any way keep up the good work solid 4 outta 5.
Very good game, I liked it a lot, simple and efficient, the controls are totally instinctive and the art direction is great (visuals & musics). Congrats ! Rated <3
A solid entry with excellent space physics and tiny details in retro aesthetics like cursor changing color and darkening/lightening the scene that really make up a finished feel. That font you're using perfectly fits the UI on screen.
It's a pity that you didn't have enough time to make a death animation for enemies.
Short but awesome game. Fantastic visuals and solid gameplay, gave a 5 on this!
I liked how the visual reminded of what it would be like to get stuck inside a computer with viruses flying around.Super cool graphics, fun gameplay.
Immediately engaging atmosphere with a pretty fun sense of movement.
|+ Having enemies go around the world and come up behind you isn't fun (but in a good way!) |+ The scale of the world relative to the experience/amount of enemies feels just right. |+ Bullets also being affected by the gravity was a nice touch and helped your long range firing.
|- Bullets felt weak and relatively tedious to fire instead of engaging. |- Feedback when damaging enemies also felt weak even with the minor knockback they seemed to have.
I think if the player could only take 1 hit that would immediately increase the tension while on the spherical planet. Then also possibly balance out the combat by having slower firing but more impactful/louder/heavier bullets that could be either held down or clicked repetitively to balance the pace. If enemies could lift off the ground too so you couldn't easily shoot them from ontop a roof that'd help polish the experience more. It was still a solid entry with a strong atmosphere though and just knowing that after not seeing an enemy for a minute one was likely behind you it was a fun kind of tense, great work :)!
Really cool retro style! Kinda like DOOM. The monster freaks me out. short but awesome game! + 1
Nice game. I really like the graphics (the neon buildings in particular) and the audio only if the shooting sound would be quieter... ;) Here is my game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/fixville
Really nice game, love that VR vibe and the effects (reminds me of Kung Fury or Hotline miami) - the game is bit short, but its fun and has nice sfx and music. So overall a really good job!
Great game. I would add (in this order): -Feedback when being attacked by an enemy. -Mini radar -Some sound when the enemies are closer -Different kind of enemies
Also, this game fits perfectly on VR
Great mood and music! I really love the look of the graphics, it feels like I'm inside a computer. The game is a lot of fun too! Only suggestion I could make is a better effect when you destroy an enemy.
Really intense game with stunning graphics. I normally hate motion blur in games, but here, it was superb. maybe because of the pixelation. also, how did you manage to blur the UI? because they aren't moving. or are they? anyway, I always get eaten by the last one, but it's really fun and especially for a compo, bravo!
All this feedback is so great and unexpected! Thank you all!
@dejvo As far as I understand, in order to apply motion blur, vector are calculated to apply it proportionaly along the screen according to the relative movement of the frame, and then the motion blur itself is a postprocess applied to the final frame with that calculations, so, if the UI is inside the frame at that point, the motion blur is applied to it too. Al I did was putting the canvases to be rendered by the same camera that had the post process pipeline. Btw, Unity new postprocess pipeline is great and easy to use, and much more performant than the ImageEffect components used until now.
Cool game! I love your art style!
Shameless pug, but I would appreciate some votes on my game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/micro-world-defense
One of the more stylized games I've played, very neat.
I´m alone forever :(
A short good experience with a fantastic visual style. The controls works vey well. I would like to see more of this. Nice job!
@josefalanga Thanks! I did use the postprocess stuff myself, but for some reason, it didn't apply to the UI even though, It's on the same camera, but I'll take a look at that. but also, I think that stationary object shouldn't be motion blured. If the UI is stationary, and it is being motion blured, it is a bug in my opinion. although, it's a bug with nice end result
Nice visual effect. The neon effect is always a good guess when it comes to design (ALWAYS!). I enjoyed the game itself but I always ended shooting at my feet by mistake and that has for effect to eject myself to the endless space. But it is a really nice entry. Good job!
Great game you got here! The effects were great and graphics were refreshing! Controls worked pretty great as well! Floating into space made me slime as I thought it was a bug till I noticed that NOPE... im dead lol Wished the enemies were a little harder to kill. Maybe i didnt make it far into the game to see. Anyway, great game!
Here is ours for you or anyone to get their game on: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/moped-mayhem
Really cool graphics and I also liked the music, even if it's quite short. The controls are responsive which made me want to play a lot more. Too bad it's such a quick experience !
The visuals is interesting, and the music is fantastic. The idea is okay, but I would have liked more then one kind of enemy. But overall a good LD game.
Lovely game, pretty fun! That last sucker always managed to get me somehow haha, love the style and music. Good idea, well executed, responsive and fun!

I'm not really good at FPS games, and don't play them often, so I found this pretty difficult (I didn't even clear the first wave of enemies). For me, it would have helped to have more prominent feedback that I was being hurt (I think some FPSes show an indicator to tell you what direction you're being attacked from? As I said, I don't play these often). That said, I imagine someone who actually plays this type of game regularly would not have the same problems.
On the parts I am equipped to judge properly, I think you did a pretty good job, especially for a compo entry! The art style is unusual but pulled off very well, and the music works well. I think some additional sound effects might have been called for, though; possibly one to tell your you're being hurt, or that there's an enemy right behind you, something like that.
Woah, those are some cool retro effects you've got going on there. Managed to beat it after I realised the last few enemies come at you really fast, so it's better to run and jump backward and get them to line up for you. Speaking of jumping - I really liked how cool the jumping looked and felt due to the lowish gravity. Wheee!
The only thing I didn't like was the shooting sound effect, far too loud in the mix! That was it though, nice entry :)
Very synthwavey. I did a little video with my thoughts. https://youtu.be/2E_VB598v2c
Holy wow your graphics are awesome. Reminds me of the sort of retro-futurism you might expect to see like in the movie hackers. Gameplay was pretty simple, but still fun and the music and style made it all pretty rewarding to play and replay. Good stuff!
