LD38 — A Small World

Insula Umbrarum by IDid 2017-05-20T17:12:11Z

A nice game with a cool concept. I noticed that I did spent quite some time playing this game .

I do think that I missed audio and some visual feedback, also the game was quite heavy on my laptop. The drawn graphics didn't really fit in with the other art, but I do get that time was limited and I freaking loved the 3d graphics!

Llama's World by fancy89 2017-05-20T18:54:13Z

Cool game, took a while to figure everything out, but it was cool and my time was well spent! Awesome voxel graphics, it gave it a really interesting look overall.

Lovely difficulty and nice game all around!

Flovala by larzan 2017-04-30T19:10:43Z

Awesome! Loved the art style, the music and the gameplay. Small fun polished game with a nice atmosphere

Protoware Planet by josefalanga 2017-05-12T14:53:56Z

Lovely game, pretty fun! That last sucker always managed to get me somehow haha, love the style and music. Good idea, well executed, responsive and fun!

Little Fortune Planet by Flaterectomy 2017-05-20T18:58:25Z

Awesome game, how did you guys even finish this in the limited amount of time? Just amazing, lovely gameplay, awesome graphics. Great music and so polished!

Cloud Conquerors by ViKingGames 2017-05-20T17:09:01Z

Played this with a couple of friends, loved it and it was a fun time waster! The graphics were really nice to look at and the music was nice. The controls felt a bit weird at times, but yeah playing with 4 people on a keyboard is not easy haha.

Vanishing Point by adsilcott 2017-04-28T14:48:32Z

Really cool, even though it is unfinished! It reminded me a lot of games like Deponia, Freddy Fish etc. Lovely artstyle!

Escape to the Stars by justinooncx 2017-05-20T17:17:28Z

The graphics caught my interest in an instant! I just love the pixel art

The gameplay did feel a bit clunky at times, it did not feel nice playing the game with mouse and keyboard, I died quite a few times because of the text box clicking while I was surrounded. Also I did get surrounded really early in the game, it felt a bit unbalanced.

I did love the characters and the sort of questlike feel, Id love to see where this game ends up!

You did edit the game quite a lot though, but I will vote anyways because of the amount of effort put into it. Please make a link to the older game though for fair reviews and votes!

Land Ahoy! by Unvestigate 2017-05-20T18:50:05Z

Awesome game! lovely style, fun and quick. Would love to see this game in a later stage with more features like the people above explained.

Noice game

Leucos by Harry Alissavakis 2017-05-20T18:45:29Z

Awesome game, love the theme. The game plays rather well, loved the controls and the idea  The graphics are nice, even though everything is red; it doesnt really clash. Nice wave system and overal a lovely time waster!

Trapped Robot by Richard Weug 2017-04-24T06:53:48Z

The links work just fine for me, nice game. I like the look and feel of it!

Balance by wasdswag 2017-05-20T17:04:38Z

This game was so funny, especially the visuals and the randomness. Nice game, took me a moment to figure it out, but as theCrittersCove said, once you realize how to play it, it gets pretty easy!

Cosmic Flinger by TwinGhosts 2017-04-30T19:15:02Z

Thank you Richard, that's a really nice compliment! Loved making it!

Cosmic Flinger by TwinGhosts 2017-05-20T16:41:44Z

@alexthedev Thank you, I really appreciate it!

@internetpaulicy Thanks for taking the time to write this review! Glad to hear that you liked it and I fully agree that there shouldve been some kind of audio feedback, but I failed to get it to work just before the deadline.

@rialgar Awesome, I really appreciate it! The game does increase in difficulty, slowly. The enemies get a little bit of extra HP based on the wave count  . But you are totally right, good feedback, it'd be good to increase the difficulty in a fun way!

Cosmic Flinger by TwinGhosts 2017-05-20T18:10:06Z

@vikinggames Thanks for the compliments and thanks for the feedback!

Agreed, it gets boring rather quick. I'd love to build it into a type of tower defense game, believe it or not, it was actually one of my ideas haha

I appreciate feedback a lot, no need to praise the game to death. I prefer honest feedback! It just sucks that I had less than 48 hours due to my birthday being on the 23rd, otherwise I wouldve tried to turn it into a tower defense!

Cosmic Flinger by TwinGhosts 2017-05-21T12:07:07Z

@harry-alissavakis Thank you for the kind words! I'd love to expand this game with the feedback in mind. Loved your game by the way!

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

The More You Make by TerraCottaFrog 2017-12-05T23:53:11Z

Cool take on the theme. Frantic and chaotic, still fun to play. Been playing for a long time now! :D

Slowjumper by Scriptorum 2017-12-05T17:01:41Z

Fun game man, enjoyed it. The controls felt a little too floaty for my liking but a nice game nontheless! Liked the messages at the start of each level too!

you are the coin master by Sean S. LeBlanc 2017-12-05T22:39:08Z

Lovely and chaotic!

GameJam Survival Simulator by VicoViper 2017-12-06T12:44:52Z

Neat idea, fun looking visuals and great animations! Playing the game however felt rather slugish and not too rewarding. Still taking into account the time and the fact that it is a game jam, it is a really good entry :)

Snake+ by maskinmask 2017-12-05T07:13:17Z

Lovely adaption of the snake game! Was fun to play, nice graphics to look at, good audio and fits the theme perfectly. Gotta love old games getting renewed!

The lost strawberry by egordorichev 2017-12-06T14:24:08Z

Probably my favorite game of Ludum Dare so far! Great graphics, chaotic, but i love it. Tons of content and a lovely boss. No idea how you managed to do this in so little time, hats of to you sir!

Team or Greed? by Poller 2017-12-06T22:34:59Z

Even though it is lacking at some smaller aspects, I do think that it is really cool that you made a split screen game :) Really cool idea. My computer can handle 4 input keys at the same time so that was good and all! As LMB said, visual feedback would be nice to have, but still good nontheless!

Tomb Robber by ronin748 2017-12-05T17:10:29Z

Cool game, especially for the amount of time you had. The controls felt a little weird at the start but i got used to them rather quick. The melee combat worked for me, knew the range of the weapon and enemies quick enough. Nice graphics to support the gameplay, wouldve loved to see some other mechanic than slowing you down by collecting coins. Otherwise awesome!

Color Bound by Charles Cox 2017-12-05T21:38:34Z

Probably one of the best games on here! Engaging and fun :) lovely idea. I did notice that the targeting AI put me in bad spots at times, but what the hell the game is awesome as it is right now!

The Will of the Wisps by adsilcott 2017-12-05T23:50:40Z

Lovely game. Nice ambience, and as the top comment said, I made up a whole story of myself with the resources given by the game. Love the line of sight mechanic as well. It felt like it was rather easy but I liked it that way

Hell Venture Tycoon by healthire 2017-12-06T22:32:56Z

Hard game to grasp at first, but it was great fun once i got the hang of it :) Lovely pixel art style, good job man!

Zealot by fasterthanlime 2017-12-05T22:39:53Z

Awesome game, nice visuals, had trouble at first though

Intergalactic Misfortune [Compo] by TwinGhosts 2017-12-05T16:54:56Z

@kingswind Thanks a lot! Glad that you loved it :)

@v-ad Thank you!

@scriptorum Haha I know right! Had some trouble balancing the game due to time constraints, but awesome that you liked it :D

Intergalactic Misfortune [Compo] by TwinGhosts 2017-12-06T09:39:28Z

@kerr thank you! I feel you. The debuff effects are certainly subtle, maybe a bit too subtle at times. Thank you for the feedback!

@jimbly Awesome to hear that you found it interesting! Thanks for taking the time to write this thorough comment, I really appreciate it. Sorry for that bug and the framerate drops, had no time during the LD jam to fix them anymore :slight_frown:

@antti-tiihonen thank you so much, also for the feedback! Really appreciate it and you are totally right about the tutorial :grinning:

@importantcreations thanks!

Intergalactic Misfortune [Compo] by TwinGhosts 2017-12-06T12:01:26Z

@samuli Thank you, I appreciate the feedback and I totally agree with you, better level/tutorial design or a speed up button would've been way better! :)

@tim-eriksen Thanks a lot, it's nice to hear that it was fairly clear. In the first build I had icons to illustrate what each debuff did, but the debuffs changed a lot during the 48 hours and it was too painful to keep updating the icons with illustrations :(. But you are totally right and I really want to push that idea through when I continue with this project!

Intergalactic Misfortune [Compo] by TwinGhosts 2017-12-06T14:26:22Z

@zantze thank you so much, that means a lot to me :)! Thanks for taking the time to play and review it!

@phillserrazina Awesome, thank you! Im glad that you found it a great game :D

Intergalactic Misfortune [Compo] by TwinGhosts 2017-12-06T16:55:46Z

@savepoint holy moly thanks for the kind words, unfortunate that the clicks dont work too well :( Glad that you still liked it nontheless! Tt was the 48hr one :P, but thanks for playing and the lovely words!

Intergalactic Misfortune [Compo] by TwinGhosts 2017-12-06T20:37:18Z

@crock thanks man!

@cyberpunks Woah thats awesome! Thank you very much for the compliment and Im glad that the game entertained you for as long as it did :grinning:

Intergalactic Misfortune [Compo] by TwinGhosts 2017-12-07T19:45:04Z

@honest-dan Thanks Dan. I really like your enthousiasm on stream, glad you enjoyed it :) and thanks for the feedback, I will work on making the debuffs more visual without hindering the gameplay!

Intergalactic Misfortune [Compo] by TwinGhosts 2017-12-10T17:17:04Z

@krassenstein Thanks man! Yeah I feel you :) I had more debuffs but those really screwed the balance up even more haha so I tried to keep it subtle. Maybe a bit too much. Thank you for the feedback! I like the idea of the fading debuff :grinning:

@the-triumvirate Woo thanks a lot, it means a lot to me :D! Haha yeah good point there, it's always a pain to come up with a name :)

Intergalactic Misfortune [Compo] by TwinGhosts 2017-12-10T20:46:04Z

@the-triumvirate HAHA what I only just noticed that :joy: thanks man!

Intergalactic Misfortune [Compo] by TwinGhosts 2017-12-17T17:17:31Z

@deathray Thank you for the great feedback! I've noted all of it down in my post-mortum :)

Artifact by Tim Eriksen 2017-12-06T12:40:36Z

Nice game, I liked the fact that you could carry more of the artefacts with 4 keys, the robot felt like a haunting presence especially on the final map when it comes from above haha. Noticed some slight anomalies in the game, threw the orbs on accident at the door and couldnt get them back anymore and when I jump and land on the ground I get a couple of frames in which I cannot jump.

Fun game though, lovely music and interesting concept :)

Sunken by Tay 2017-12-05T23:48:29Z

Nice game, liked the art style and color choices. The double tap did not really annoy me, found it fun to play for a while! The only thing that annoyed me were the sets of enemies that spawned in a way that I couldnt pass them without dying.

Paint all the Colors by Thomas Molby 2017-12-06T22:41:08Z

Found it pretty funny when i had to draw an orange with everything but orange :) lovely little game, wish it would give relevant colors to paint with, but had a lot of fun nontheless!

Infestus by Handle 2017-12-06T22:36:49Z

Cool man, i love exploration and a decent try at making the theme fit your game :) good job nice graphics and visual appeal aswell

Captain Capsize by Lance Krasniqi 2017-12-05T23:58:14Z

This was really really cool. Picking other ships apart and scavenging the sea for stuff to put on your - or their boats is just awesome. Has some issues with grabbing things from affar would lose the objects to the sea, but other than that this is probably my favorite entry so far!

SpaceBallz by The Triumvirate 2017-12-05T14:22:52Z

Fun little game! Simple style and simple to play :D

My Greedy Dog Steve by Honest Dan 2017-12-07T20:03:06Z

The game really has a lot of great things to it! First of all I loved the art style and inventory system, the subtle humor was nice. The game was easy to understand and gave me fun for a while. The hitboxes made me hesitate a lot during the game (as I choose +3 attack) as I wasn't too sure how big they were, even after playing for a while. The exploration aspect of the game was pretty nice as well, unfortunately it takes really long to run back and forth which becomes rather tedious as the game progresses.

Loved the game, a great time waster! Well done in such a short amount of time!

Health Choice by DarkAnice 2017-12-04T15:28:46Z

Fun FPS, lovely that you got this done within the timeframe. Wouldve loved a longer level with more branching and less obvious paths and maybe more enemy types. Also a timer would be fun for speedrunning.

POKED - be social by Faktori 2017-12-05T23:05:05Z

Holy moly, this game is awesome, unique idea, awesome graphics, just all around perfect :D

The Semi-Realistic City Game by Jan 2017-12-05T17:21:35Z

Holy moly, this is a nice game :) . Always loved sim-city type games. I was a bit quick to "finish" the game, but still an awesome job.

Infected Pong by PhillSerrazina 2017-12-06T09:54:34Z

Fun game, would spam again 10/10

Lose weight by kingswind 2017-12-05T17:05:04Z

Nice use of the flappy bird type of gameplay! Got RNGed a couple of times which made it frustratingly lovable. Liked the grapics and the flapping sound, well done :D

Statues by giucapan 2017-12-05T22:50:52Z

Unique! Lovely sound design and implementation, really well done :D

LD42 — Running out of space

Bullet Farmer by CMLSC 2018-08-16T01:23:59Z

Fun game! Quite unique as well and it gets really difficult within a short amount of time haha. Had a blast playing it, all of the aspects of the game go well together! I had to get used to the controls a bit and the mechanics but after that it was pretty fun to play.

Switching between the two modes was quite challenging especially when youre running low on ammo and a slime is standing on your crops. It would be nice to have some form of damage when youre out of bullets, maybe just a low damage hit or something.

I digged the game, good job, solid entry in my opinion :D

Snakescape by krasse 2018-08-15T20:05:40Z

Good game in all regards :D - I liked the sound effects, the art-style as it did what was required and it fit the gameplay really well! I especially like the level design, it kept me thinking and the difficulty increased with each level while the solution was rather easy after taking my time to look at the level.

It wouldve been nice to have some sort of animation for the wall part that opens up when youve collected the eggs and for the vines as it was a bit difficult to see at times, and as youve said during the stream, a tutorial wouldve been nice. But ah well a great game nontheless :)

Nice teamwork guys, great effort and it'd be nice if you continued on the game :D

Super Responsible Parent by dietzribi 2018-08-15T19:10:22Z

Great game, I mean I couldnt even find anything wrong about it. Lovely voice acting, fun to watch art and story, humor was on point. I mean this deserves newgrounds. You can see the work put into this and it really pays off! Good job to you and your bro! :id:

Please publish it somewhere after the jam!

Running from ⭐⭐Space⭐⭐ by sobakaduka 2018-08-15T18:36:35Z

I really liked the game! Especially the grappling hook mechanic, reminded me a bit of Attack on Titan (game). The animations of the guns were awesome, as were the enemies and their animations.

I did notice that I could just skip reloading and regenerating altogether by just going for the portal. It might be nice to have some sort of blockade or different monsters that block progress (blackholes?).

Good job to the three of you :D

Sofamino by shide 2018-08-15T21:43:10Z

Insane, this game is the perfect representation of this theme in a good way. I had so much fun playing it on stream, I might even play it offstream some more! Funny texts, great graphics, smooth gameplay, this game has it all :)

Congratulations with this great product you guys!

One thing that Id like to see in this game is a "Next Item" indicator so i can plan ahead since the order isnt always the same :) Other than that I cant even think of anything else to say!

Follow Line by mukult 2018-08-15T19:44:15Z

Really innovative because most people probably had a platformer in mind where the ground falls from below you. But this is just that but way better! I could see this on the mobile platform instantly, id play it gladly!

Even for such a short amount of developement time, youve managed to create a diverse amount of enemies and trakc pieces! Please let me know if you continue to work on this project, Id love to play it again!

PS the drawing effect and the models are awesome!

Train Hustle by Howard Duong 2018-08-16T00:02:43Z

My god this game is the reason people should stream LD games. I mean that scream is pricesless while youre smacking bums to their deaths. But I liked the art actually and the gameplay was pretty unique, got destroyed completetly but I had fun :D

Digital Abyss by TwinGhosts 2018-08-15T21:51:42Z

Hey guys thanks for all the great comments! You can press "1, 2, 3, 4" to go to the levels or press ESC to quit out from the dialogue!

So if you lose, press the level number and you respawn instantly without the death screen!

Digital Abyss by TwinGhosts 2018-08-15T22:01:36Z

Oh and Ill fix the WebGL link asap! Sorry for that

Digital Abyss by TwinGhosts 2018-08-16T02:09:28Z

Thanks Lexy! and thanks Luca, great feedback ill work it tomorrow :) You can press ESC to skip all of the dialogue by the way, but I agree I should just remove after one playthrough because it doesnt really add anything anyway haha.

Jesus GOnzalez Im sorry i didnt fix the link just yet, for now theres only a windows version :( Ill take the webGL one down

Digital Abyss by TwinGhosts 2018-08-16T09:26:12Z

@hi-irie the game is now up and running on itch, my bad!

@squabbler thanks for enjoying the game and thanks for the feedback! You're right, it's a bit disorienting at times :/ sorry for that I might fix it in a later stage of the game.

@chronicbite thanks man! I really appreciate it! You can skip all of the dialogue with the ESC button, but I think ill need to make that more clear within the game :)

@coldfire83 Thanks for liking the game :) Thanks for the feedback as well, thats a good idea, ill fix that soon!

Digital Abyss by TwinGhosts 2018-08-16T19:44:17Z

@whoisninja Hey thanks for playing my game dude! I appreciate it, I had huge time management problems during this gamejam, everything turned out to be more difficult than I first thought.

@exofrenon Hey man, thanks for checking my game out and taking the time to give me a detailed review. I really really appreciate that a lot! And thanks for the compliments (though the AI is half broken haha, was difficult since i didnt use a grid, but free movement. That made a MinMax algoritm and checking what the player might soooo difficult). You can actually skip the Dialogue by pressing ESC, its on this page but I might need to add it to the game because I get a lot of notices about it haha :)

About the difficulty, you're completely right man. I wish I had more time to test it haha, I usually love difficult games so I always have to downscale difficulty quite a bit, thats sooo difficult at times :D And good call about the reverse direction kill, it didnt kill you normally but I added that to prevent bugs and stuff. I might make it so that the player just keeps going in the current direction instead of dying.

Oh sick man, a fellow dutchy :) I wish you the best of luck on your AI thesis! Thanks for the detailed review, I really appreciate it!

Digital Abyss by TwinGhosts 2018-08-23T12:21:54Z

@prodigalson hey thanks man, I really appreciate the kind words and that you enjoyed the game :D Awesome! Sorry for the WASD keys not working, I did mean to do it but due to time restraints I forgot to actually pull that through :/

Lovely quote hahaha, but thanks man! And sorry for the difficulty, I prefer my games difficult, but I should test it and then lower the difficulty a bit for a broader audience!

Personal Space by ProdigalSon 2018-08-16T00:55:49Z

Cool game I really like these types of games, a bit of planning and smacking. The graphics were cool and fit the game really well. Same with the audio, the high pitches of the music became a bit annoying at times though.

A lot of levels which were fun to play but not really more difficult than the previous levels. Wouldve been nice to have some more types of enemies or tiles. And I noticed that the clicking doesnt always register when I clicked on a slime. And as described above, platforms didnt always fall.

The game was really solid though, had a blast playing it and I hope you will expand on this!

Bus Stop Blast by NotSpaghettiGames 2018-08-15T19:33:08Z

Fun little game, reminds of the older arcade games where you have a time limit to complete an objective (as main mechanic). The bus controls apart from the braking felt pretty good, I liked driving around with the bus and destroying half of the village while i was at it :D

The braking mechanic could use some work, it feels slippery :) And after the third level? the game sort of bugs. But if you incorperate the planned features, this could be even more of a blast :D

Eviction Evader by NDHR Productions 2018-08-16T00:21:41Z

Fun little game, liked the idea of a sort of tower defense with shooter aspect. The overall feel of game was pretty neat as well and you designed a little world for your story to take place in!

Unity's physics are janky as always :D but nice game either way, especially for your first time! Wouldve loved ab better alternative for buying the turrets and fighting multiple enemies. Also locating the enemies is sometimes a bit hard.

Great effort put in and thanks for the submission, i liked it :)

Get Comfortable by Chillen 2018-08-15T18:52:10Z

Cool game man, lovely simple art-style. The music and situation really hit home on the subject :D, it made me chuckle at times :) Cool that it was a sort of collab with ur gf! The idea felt unique, I havent seen anything like it so far!

One thing that did lower the fun value unfortunately were the arms getting stuck and not having a lot of control over the body in general. But other than that it was a cool game I really liked it.

Cluckbait by Del Nordlund 2018-08-15T01:44:34Z

Funny game, loving the artstyle just like last time :D Took me a while to get used to it but it felt really polished :)

Dystopia Tycoon by Hare Software 2018-08-15T20:30:07Z

Always loved me some tycoon games :) Well executed and a damn nice tutorial. Even though i didnt really kept track of the timer at times, it was still a fun creative game. As soon as the space gets more limited I really started to panic because I knew that I needed to make more radical decisions. The art style is just perfect for this, I love isometric pixelart and this game does it well!

Good job guys, nice team effort :D

Clot! by Ghoster 2018-08-16T01:44:55Z

Great game I really enjoyed the mechanics! It let me play around with building the great wall of china to save me from those reckless figures (spoiler it didnt work out as planned). Still though its cool to see mechanics being used in different ways for different strategies, that is good game design in my opinion!

The graphics, music and effects are great! The replay value is high as well, I just want to beat the 700 score :/ and win with my great wall.

Wouldve ben nice to have the charge connect with the blocks a bit better and to maybe hit 2 at once when you go inbetween. And the red ones are just hell, a wind up time might be nice :)

Great game, had a blast, please let me know when youve updated it!

Zone Out 42 by Kisamegr 2018-08-15T20:50:47Z

Great game you guys, loved the graphics as they fit the game really well. The gameplay was a frantic as I had hoped! Loved the wall mechanic as HP basically and the levels felt pretty diverse actually :)

Might be nice to have a eased out camera because it feels a little rough with all the quick movements I make in the game. It might also be nice to see a Indicator for how far the walls are away from you outside the screen.

Awesome first entry for a LDjam and I hope to see more of you guys in the future!

Zone Out 42 by Kisamegr 2018-08-15T20:50:47Z

Thanks LD for the double comments :)

Dogs on the Bed by Sharky3188 2018-08-16T00:34:52Z

First of all, lovely dogs :D I liked the game, it was short and difficult. The mechanics were easy but at the same time difficult due to time and space management! Loved the variation in the dog types!

The time inbetween dog spawns couldve increased a little for me, i didnt have time to think about the arrangement so I stacked horribly a lot of times. Also I cant see the small dogs behind a pile of dogs :)

Great game nontheless :D

LimitedActions by Stroe Andrew 2018-08-15T23:50:30Z

Great game man, love maze game type of games! I liked the difficulty, wasnt too hard but it felt nice to win levels! The graphics were great, loved the camera effect! Nice dialogue system it worked really well and im looking out to your main project!

Wouldve loved the boss battle to be a bit more than it was, and maybe some more alternate paths to give the player more of a playing style like celeste. It also felt strange to have time based abilities in a turn based environment, lost alot of control because of that but still a great game :D

Melting Ice (Running out of penguins) by Leetchi 2018-08-15T21:07:51Z

Fun game! Loved the graphics, the concept and the execution :D That boat though, just ploughing through the pinguins, just like real life :(

It takes a long time before it gets more difficult, but when you play it for the first time its just a treat!

Its just so funny when the game starts and you see that pinguin with its swagger :) Lovely game!

Roomy's Party by Lexyvil 2018-08-16T01:08:03Z

Short and fun! I liked being bounced around at the beginning, trying to somehow survive the onslaught of jumping dark clones of your dark past :)

Might be fun to lower the hitboxsize and make the enemies bounce aswell if you want the luck factor to still apply. Fun game, cool that you used monogame as well!

Polar Bear Ballads by diesdas 2018-08-15T18:19:30Z

Loved your game man! Awesome idea and it feels well polished. Clean animations, graphics and gameplay. Also, the music is beautiful especially when you know youve fucked up!

The jumping felt a bit wonky at times, wouldve been nice to see the depth a bit better because i cant really feel whether im going to make it!

Love it :D

LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

NOPE by icxon 2018-12-05T22:20:05Z

Insane, I was on the edge of my for the whole duration. The atmosphere is awesome, the graphics are good and music and sounds are horrifying! Awesome! The theme is really well integrated, it feels needed and logical at times.

One thing I wish it had was 3D (2D) sound positioning, I got spooked by the NOPE from a unexpected angle too many times, which is cool the first time, but it gets annoying rather quick.

But a great game nontheless :D

Subway Crisis by Iluvatar 2018-12-09T19:30:11Z

I always like point and clickers and this one is no exception. The graphics are great, it sets the mood. I like it that there is a story, makes me feel like you actually wanted us to feel immersed even more :) It was a bit short, but that is to be expected and like @renegadepunisher said, I kept my items the second time around.

Quantic Paouf IV by shubart 2018-12-14T21:43:28Z

The game played fluid which is always a + :) The core concept is interesting, yet I didn't really think about the sacrificial part while playing it. The graphics felt a bit static, uhh how would I say this. It felt so different from the UI graphics and the general feel of the game was bit all over the place.

Yet the gameplay (though unclear at the start) was pretty fun and easy to learn!

Mindu's Hope by Bendev_Games 2018-12-06T02:55:44Z

Pretty sweet game, easy to play harder to master.

The physics feel a bit wonky at times and it feels kinda difficult to gain speed when you are hanging. Yet I liked the overal game, it's fun

STAR JUNK by christina-antoinette-neofotistou 2018-12-07T15:14:59Z

Interesting game :) awesome graphics. I like the continue after you died mechanic, although it feels like it negates the 1UP in the shop. The enemies are pretty strong, but I like that. It resulted in some nice dogfights and them smashing into things! I did not like the integration of theme too much, it feels a bit bland. But overal I think it is a great game!

Super Smashed Bros by N4tticus 2018-12-06T17:42:38Z

Fun game, I mean it is pretty minimalistic but I had a lot of fun. Congrats on getting a networking game done within this timeframe :). Would smash Joshua through the floor again 11/10

The Fallen Prince by TwinGhosts 2018-12-05T14:46:40Z

@muzzz29 Hey thanks for playing it on stream! Yeah you're completely right, I need to change how enemies attack and add new types of enemies for sure! Thanks a lot I really appreciate it.

@mtanton Thanks for playing it on stream as well! I'm in the process of adding sounds to it as we speak, it really feels rather empty without them. And I will probably try to make the player not able to move while attacking, so that you can just run and gun through the game.

@youngblade Thanks for playing! I usually make my games way too difficult, but this time some of the hostile mechanics are half-broken at times, sorry for that... I will get to those issues ASAP. Thank you for taking the time to play it!

@josh-bothun Thanks for playing as well. The art took so much time in this project, I wish I had spent a bit more of it on the design and mechanics. But thanks for the compliments!

@darkanice Appreciate it! I really want to make this game longer and bigger as soon as possible so I will get to that! Yeah they do have an effect actually when they fall through the floor, it's gray and halfway in the ground haha, so I might make it more obvious then.

The Fallen Prince by TwinGhosts 2018-12-06T12:54:13Z

@alexkishchinskiy Hey thanks for playing my game! You can move with the Arrow Keys as well WASD was implemented by unity when using the Arrows keys. I forgot to take that out :/ sorry.

The background was done with basic Parallaxing. Take the X and Y of the camera and take a fraction of the position. So the further away, the slower it goes

The Fallen Prince by TwinGhosts 2018-12-06T14:47:11Z

@hav24 Thanks a lot! I agree the skeletons are a bit weak at the moment, the problem is that they don't get in range far enough to attack :/ Im fixing that right as we speak :) Thanks again man

The Fallen Prince by TwinGhosts 2018-12-08T00:38:17Z

@alexkishchinskiy No problem, Jams like these are to help each other! Would you like an example project?

The Fallen Prince by TwinGhosts 2018-12-09T19:22:18Z

@alexkishchinskiy I will leave a download link here soon (I don't know any other way without posting contact info on here)

@iluvatar thank you for playing and thanks for the feedback. How would you prefer it? Make the camera move a little ahead of the player's direction?

The Fallen Prince by TwinGhosts 2018-12-09T21:25:35Z

@iluvatar Alright, I will play around with it, thanks for the feedback! Haha thanks a lot, I love adding stories to games. Sucks that I didn't have time to integrate it well enough. Working on that as we speak though. Anyways thanks again!

Humanity Hero by Guilb 2018-12-07T13:57:05Z

Fun game! I liked the graphics and the concept of it, and the text was also fun to read. Yet after 2 levels I just looked at the numbers. It is cool that you incorporated multiple levels with different objectives in such a short amount of time!

After playing for a while I wouldve loved to make it speed up, the animations start to take long and it becomes quite cumbersome.

It was such an interesting game though, I loved playing it!

DUSKHEARTH by Lance Krasniqi 2018-12-07T13:47:11Z

I liked the idea of the game and the art is amazing. Though, I don't really feel like I can do anything, I won on the first try and I didn't see anything happen or change throughout the playthrough. I also see what you tried to do with the theme but it didn't really feel like sacrificing since I usually had like 3 cards of the same type, so it happened anyway.

I would love to play it again when it is updated though :) I think that it has a lot of potential! I mean for 2/3 days of work this is beautiful :)

Bokeh by arron-fowler 2018-12-14T21:47:28Z

I played this with my girlfriend and it was fun to play. Took me some time to get used to the gameplay but it was fun! This graphical style always hits home for me :) so I liked it, simple but effective and clear. I also like the fact that you made it based on personal experience, pretty cool to try and visualize it!

Sacrifice for the wall by DarkAnice 2018-12-06T11:53:32Z

Fun game, the graphics are perfect for what the game is: Fast, Thematic and Funny. - I like the timer as I love challenging myself and others to be competitive, yet it would've been nice to have one or two decimals and to see my score at the end of a level - The Audio is funny, I love the midi renditions of "popular" songs - The theme does come forth, but not a lot. I never really looked at my healthbar during my playsession - I love that there was a boss (more games should have those in my opinion haha), but I one-shotted it three times in a row, so you might wanna look into that :P - Three distinct levels, I like that. It does give me a feeling of progression! - I didn't like the camera movement unfortunately, it was too slow so I couldn't see things coming when I jumped. Yet it did force me to take my time instead of rushing, which gives speedrunning it a bit more merrit. - The final thing is the gravity, it feels really floaty. In a quick and reactive platformer I would love to have quicker controls. - The level design feels nice, the levels get more difficult as you progress and they are interesting

I like the game a lot. I was just looking to give some feedback, so here you go. Nice game, I'd download it if it was on the Appstore!

Something Evil is Brewing by mccarlp 2018-12-14T21:39:44Z

Cutesy art style, you guys got a lot of work done this jam! It reminded me a bit of the overlord franchise :)

It felt a bit lackluster gameplay-wise but the overall idea was interesting. I would like to see it worked on after the jam :D I think it could be pretty fun.

Apart from some unclear parts, I did have fun during my playthrough so that is always important!

The Path to Vegetarianism by PhillSerrazina 2018-12-14T21:34:29Z

Interesting game, but I had some trouble with the controls :) it felt a bit clunky. The collision boxes felt a bit off and it was a bit jittery at times.

But it is nice that you managed to make a full game with multiple stages and an interesting concept for the compo, well done!

Abortion Boy by Saering 2018-12-10T19:56:28Z

Interesting game :) Dark setting, decent difficulty, generation and good graphics. I mean it has a lot of good qualities! I did find the physics a bit wonky and navigation was hard at times, yet I did have fun and played through the game :)

Land's Sacrifice by Benjamin123 2018-12-16T17:49:48Z

I like the concept of the game. I'm not sure whether I like the integration of the theme, but oh well thats personal I guess. The only things that I didn't like are the UI (scales horribly) and no visual feedback. I would just remove that whole sidebar, put it at the top or in the corners. It doesnt contain a lot of info anyway, and it makes it easier to scale for a gamejam :)

I did like the pace and just playing it, it wasted (in a good sense ofcourse) a lot of my time so thats great!

Martyr by 314owen 2018-12-14T21:36:37Z

Interesting game :) I liked the art when I started playing, it was simple but effective. The light effects were really cool. As the person above me said @barkergames I also had this problem a bit, it wasn't huge but it still bugged me a little.

Good submission though, you go a lot done in such a short amount of time :)

Labrats by Matank 2018-12-11T20:46:58Z

Interesting game :) The design aspect of the game is well thought out, I like that. It's awesome that you managed to get a dialogue system in there, gives it a lot more character!

Fun puzzles, some took me multiple tries so it didnt feel too unfair or easy! Awesome entry!

Threadpoint by mike_inPrinciple 2018-12-04T21:22:57Z

The visuals look really good. Yet the UI is pretty bad in my opinion, it is so cluttered. So many different font sizes, no highlights. Why is thread text so big compared to other elements. The filler bars left and right in the UI feel way too flat compared to the rest of the graphic quality, it actually annoyed me a bit. And there are so many types of text filling the screen at points in the game, it becomes overwhelming.

The Audio felt okay, it fit the game well... although also in the same negative manner. It felt really repetitive in a neutral to negative way. I didnt see the sacrifice them coming forth. It felt more like debuffs, which is as you said probably a play of words, yet I dont see it.

The sound effects felt fitting (although sometimes a bit loud or sharp). The voices did sound really well done, insane... because such additions usually feel cheap.

I really like the general feel of the game, yet it also feels like a bland endless runner to me. But it is fast, which in my opinion is really nice. I love the feeling of going insanely quick while dodging for my life.

All in all I did have good fun playing it even though I worded it in a negative manner. But I don't think I'll pick it up for a second time.

Pizza Royale by Moritz Jaeger 2018-12-07T14:02:50Z

I liked it! It is just so quirky and whimsical :) The hand is a bit too annoying though, it always grabs me when I dont always run in a straight past it. It would be awesome to see this game made bigger after the jam! With different scenarios or something!

Happy Free Kill by Geyk0 2018-12-05T11:03:23Z

I really liked this game :) I played it with my girlfriend and we had a blast. It would probably be more fun with 2+ people though. Feels like fun party mini game, the graphics are fun to look at, the audio is whimsical, I like it :)

One thing though, I would lower the timer a little bit. It feels kinda long and it makes replaying it a bit of a chore at times.

Awesome submission, especially since I'm usually not fond of multiplayer games during the Jam

In the name of Spaghetti by Link 2018-12-06T12:42:41Z

Cool game, I just like how you went with it. Spaghetti, why not. Stealth, sure! Haha well I like it.

First time by co181127 2018-12-06T11:44:22Z

Interesting, good job for your first entry :) The graphics clash a little, maybe try to collect some that fit together next time? But the theme does come forth well

A Starving Monk by Bajtix 2018-12-05T22:03:57Z

Hey man awesome job, especially for your first entry :)

I liked that you tied a story to the actions of the game, that already gives me a reason to like the world and characters! The graphics are decent, they convey what they need to convey! The audio is simple but im glad that you added it!

It's difficult to see whether you can get hit or not, so I died to some annoying situations at times.

But good job!

LD44 — Your life is currency

Summoner's Siege by TwinGhosts 2019-05-01T19:46:35Z

@jofersgames thank you :)

@adrien-dittrick Yeah you could say that! It is inspired by Advanced Wars!

Summoner's Siege by TwinGhosts 2019-05-13T07:45:52Z

@akronsus Oh wow, that's annoying. I'll try to fix it ASAP. Thanks for letting me know

Kill Kill Bank Bank by Larnin 2019-05-14T21:35:08Z

Great game, fits well to the theme, great artstyle and design. It has it all :D

Coin Platformer by sillyman987 2019-05-01T11:13:33Z

A shame that you ran out of time, but good attempt though. Scoping is so difficult for two days. I liked what you presented and I'd like to see it built upon for sure. The idea felt good :)

LD45 — Start with nothing

Necros by TwinGhosts 2019-10-12T21:04:03Z

@tyfus thanks for playing and the feedback :)

I didn't make the music, I wish I did haha. But I'll address the scaling issue ASAP in the new build, I noticed that the death screen also doesnt scale at all. And I'll work on the visual feedback, would you find healthbars annoying to have in a game like this one?

Necros by TwinGhosts 2019-10-13T09:45:03Z

@simon-parzer Wow you're right! That's awesome, I never knew about that game. Thanks for the comment and playing! I feel you, especially in the final mission, I'll have to adjust the balance quite a bit :)

@tyfus Oh interesting, the sprites do that already, even the player. But I'll make it more apparent, add some sound effect to it and maybe some screenshake! Thank you for the feedback

@abdul-zakkar Thanks a lot for playing and the feedback! Yeah sorry about that, most levels were made in a rush near the end of the jam, I didn't have time to playtest them extensively. But I'm glad that you enjoyed it nontheless!

@nobongo Thank you! I'm glad that it at least seems to fit in with the theme, I had my doubts. Haha thanks for the kinds words. It's good to hear that you had fun and liked it! I will surely add some more animations and improve the pathing (it's so bad at the moment).

Necros by TwinGhosts 2019-10-18T16:19:39Z

@lonewolfdev thank you!

@yohsk13 Thanks for playing! Yeah I totally get what you mean, the player originally had an auto attack and a heal ability, but I didn't manage to finish it :/ Would be fun to add something like that still possibly! Thanks for taking the time to play and give feedback :)

@kajoseh Haha thank you for playing! The balancing is lacking severly in some levels, I really should make them less powerful (or just remove some)

@bradleyashley Woo thanks for writing such a detailed review! A tutorial would be a great addition, I'm not sure whether I'd continue with this game though, but otherwise the feedback is noted! :D

@solah Thanks!

@wekaj I'm glad you liked it, gotta say that the sudden change took a little while haha

@kleinzach It's great to hear that you enjoyed it! I guess it is some sort of a puzzle/strategy game at its core :P never thought about it that way. Agreed, the levels are not really balanced well, I'd love to tackle that with all the feedback I've gotten! Thanks!

@itsdanidre Haha thanks for lovely review! I'm glad you liked it. I didn't make the music, so I opted out of it :) Thanks for the rating man!

Neon Void by egawag 2019-10-21T23:30:08Z

Great game, looks and feels really good. It's relaxing and fun to play, love that you added the fog, and the minimalistic graphics work pretty well!

War For Nothing by kubs 2019-10-12T22:43:30Z

Fun little game with fun to look at graphics and music + sfx!

I played through it until I passed the first area, but I kept dying and didn't really see when I got hit other than my hearts being removed. The tileset was also flickering the whole playthrough (if you use Unity, then I'd recommend using a sprite atlas for the background to stop the flickering :) )

Like the top commenter said, it does lack some additional feedback, but I know that it's difficult in this amount of time!

I mean all in all for a gamejam, I liked it. It'd be fun to see an updated version which addresses some of the feedback points.

Red Metal Gatherer by Yohsk13 2019-10-13T12:50:38Z

A fun time waster, which is good in my opinion :D It'd be nice to have a bit less trash, but it's fun either way. Spent more time on it than I thought I would

Tagatorni by lilou_cormic 2019-10-09T21:52:16Z

Fun little TD game, kept me busy for a moment!

Not going to repeat what others have said. It'd be nice to have to planes fly in a different path each time they come so that placement becomes a bit more important.

For the time that you had it feels pretty solid, I reckon a day more and you'd have addressed all of the people's feedback points! And awesome music by Joshua as usual! The shooting sound effect felt a bit too loud and crunchy in my opinion.

Thumbs up!

CreepyCandy by Slipultura 2019-10-12T22:29:30Z

Great graphics, I like the mood it sets, but as others have noted; the controls really do feel bad. I'd be interest in an updated version where some of these mentioned issues are fixed, like the jumping and falling through the floors.

VoidTech by loganthemanster 2019-10-21T10:15:20Z

Fun game! Such a big scope for a jam and you guys still managed to deliver a game like this. Nice story telling, a stylized theme, good controls.

The font felt a bit out of place though and the gameplay is kind of lacking, but hey it's a jam.

What's the Coal here? by Faiorb 2019-10-12T22:37:57Z

I think I figured out what to do, but I don't know what to do after placing the conveyors from the coal source to my collection point.

It'd be nice to be able to drag the mouse and place conveyors that way. And it'd be nice if the conveyors would line up automatically based on the previously placed one for convenience.

POLYMON by PIXAMENTORY 2019-10-13T12:46:45Z

“Impressive game, Very cool concepts. I left wishing that there is more. Had a lot of fun “

Monolith by Kalucifer 2019-10-13T09:50:02Z

It was pretty fun to play, the graphics are really nice and fit together well, the mood as well!

As others have noted; The deflect feels a bit annoying to use because of the hitbox, the camera feels a bit weird and the fake crashes felt kinda strange. But man this game feels fun though!

Awesome

BEHOLD: The Doodle Godgame by BradleyAshley 2019-10-13T09:53:17Z

This feels really interesting, in a good way :D It's unique and it fits the theme well! The general feel/mood of the game are nice as well. I just love sandbox-y games like these, great job!

I'd love some more painting tools though, right now everything I make feel rather empty and hollow

Gun Fury by Gehad 2019-10-17T15:19:54Z

Lovely gameplay loop, the stealing was fun, reminded me of stickman arena-ish gameplay :) I'd play an extended version for sure!

You remember nothing. by Milestone Games 2019-10-12T20:31:31Z

I liked the game, I'm already a lover of those text-based games, but this one was fun :)

Would've loved to be able to use abbrevations though, nothing you haven't already heard!

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Age Of Asteroids by Wevel 2018-04-26T17:48:02Z

After taking some time to learn to play this, I have to say that it was a blast! Its packed for a Jam and I love it, its a shame that you couldnt finish it in time for the Compo. You combined two of my favorite genres, so thats great already!

A bit more visual feedback would be nice, as someone else said, I got lost with the camera position and sometimes actions aren't that visual. I'd love to hear some audio in it as well if you continue to work on it, that would finish this game rather well!

Good job, liked the game a lot, it felt rather balanced as well!

Formula 1x1 by limered 2018-04-24T11:42:37Z

Feels like on of those games schools use to teach students. Probably great potential to build it even further. More lanes, different subjects. Id love to take tests this way haha. Good job clean game and fits the theme! :D

Elite Beat Zombygons by Archimagus 2018-04-24T14:55:31Z

Awesome game! I love rythm games in particular, and shooters for that matter. Especially when combined with great music, awesome visuals and smooth gameplay (which reminds me of Crypt of the Necrodancer!). Loved the music as well, so catchy and fitting!

Great job guys!

What did you say Captain? by Marcenat 2018-04-26T21:02:28Z

This was great, played better than I expected! Had a great deal of fun.

Feels original and well executed. Id like to see more levels and boss :D

Remember or Die by GameDevMumin 2018-04-24T14:52:03Z

Just plain awesome. Great combo between some sort of dodger and a memory game. I didnt have too much trouble with the difficulty of the game, so it was quite a lot of fun!

I'd love to be able to set the size of the playing field. That would make it easier for people who aren't good at these type of games and it can make it insanely difficult for people who like a challenge.

Great job man! :D

League of Adventure by Draklaw 2018-05-06T14:03:15Z

Fun game, the concept is great. I actually spent a while playing this and I seem to agree with @Shivur completely. It would be nice if you could continue this project! Id be interested to play it :) Good job. The artstyle felt a bit lacking at some points, but then again (im no artist myself so I feel horrible to judge you there for your efforts) you made this during a gamejam. I feel that you have great potential in my opinion :D

Hyper Beat Engine by hypersnow 2018-04-23T02:53:15Z

Feels and plays like a really polished game. Can see this going up on the Appstore right away! The only things that annoyed me a bit were that the beat seemed of by a small margin, which gave me the need to look at the bar all the time instead of feeling the beat.

Great job, you've made a lovely game!

Dungeon Drifter by TwinGhosts 2018-04-23T08:27:40Z

Wow those are a lot of comments already, did not expect that! Thanks guys

@ghost-in-the-toast Thank you! This really means a lot to me and im glad that you enjoyed it! I wish that I had spent more time on actual content haha

@Sky Thank you! I totally agree with you, unfortunately I ran out of time

@Listonos I appreciate it man! The slow special arrow's behaviour flunked unfortunately, it should've jumped from enemy to enemy. But it died within the last minutes of development haha. Thanks for reporting the bug as well, i'll post a fix for that!

@BlazeXenon Hey thanks a lot! Im glad that you enjoyed the game. I guess because of the wonky controls I did succeed at the Theme's Core Challenge hahaha :D. What felt wonky about the controls? So that I might find a way to finetune it better!

@Joe Garofalo Awesome! Thank you for your comment and playtest! Im glad that you liked it, I wish i could've finished up the warrior class within the time limit. So I guess i'll release a second version ASAP as a secondary download.

@merrak Thanks alot, I'm glad that you enjoyed it! I'll check that game out, im curious now  Would you like the control to be more clear from the get go? (I forgot to post the controls on this page I see)

@DarkAnice Thanks man, I'm glad that you liked it! The first mage wave refers to the wave with the blue orbs I reckon? Thanks for the report I will fix it immediately!

Thanks for the remarks and feedback once again, I'm overwhelmed by the positivity! :v:

Dungeon Drifter by TwinGhosts 2018-04-23T09:00:42Z

@DarkAnice Oh what? That is weird, the difficulty shouldn't affect the spawn positions, I will look into this. Thanks!

Dungeon Drifter by TwinGhosts 2018-04-24T13:12:14Z

@Shoj92 Hey thanks for the kind words! Good point, the next patch will fix the long delays between certain waves :)

@T8kk Wow thanks for taking your time for the detailed and thorough review + feedback. I noted all of your feedback and I will certainly get around implementing most of it relatively soon! (Except for COOP but I really dig the idea ). Again thanks and Im glad that you enjoyed playing the game!

@jcwelgemoed Thank you! I can't do anything other than to agree with you on that. It misses some critical and fancy feedback at times. But awesome that you liked it nontheless!

@Cornel Hey man, thank you for the kind words. Sorry for the spawn bug, ill get to it today! But I'm glad to hear that you had a nice time overall

Dungeon Drifter by TwinGhosts 2018-04-24T18:06:58Z

@GameDevMumin Haha I know what you mean, that was kinda the idea behind the combination of the genres (sort of racing/endless running feeling) while needing precise movements for the bullet dodging! Would you like to see anything changed and how, regarding the movement? Haha maybe I should activate it again :) Thanks for the kind words man!

@jf1989 Thank you so much for the lovely words. I loved drawing the graphics for this game :) and I'm glad that you liked them and the game ofcourse haha!

Dungeon Drifter by TwinGhosts 2018-05-10T23:55:02Z

@FuriousWitch wow thank you for the kind words, it really means a lot to me that you liked it! I might continue on this project at some later date. Thanks again, youre awesome!

@PeachTreeOath Thanks! Im really glad that you enjoyed it, and youre right it is a bug. I totally forgot about it haha, thanks for pointing it out!

@paulhocker Thanks Paul! I wish I couldve finished the warrior, melee and this genre would be hell itself haha

@AnaGF Hey thanks! Good to hear that you enjoyed it . Yeah Id love to add more classes and maybe some form of talent progression or something. Its definitely on the taskboard for when I continue on this game! Great feedback, I agree completely about the camera position. I wanted to let more enemies come from behind but I guess i totally forgot in the end. Thanks again!

Bar Fighter - Dating sim + Fighting game by Pixelome 2018-04-26T17:50:18Z

Nice game, I found it a fun idea and it worked well, I had fun :)

As @SecondDimension said, mashing buttons was the key for me as well haha. And I wouldve liked to have a bit more time in the tinder Phase. Also some more visual feedback would be awesome.

I really liked the idea and the implementation of it, well done!

Daxua by mainghia95 2018-04-25T18:46:19Z

Beautiful, nice entry guys! The game set a great mood. The gameplay was okay it felt fun to play and was quite responsive. As said above, the text was a bit small and the main theme felt too cheerful, but still great nontheless.

I loved it!

Honest Dan's Trout by Honest Dan 2018-04-26T20:07:49Z

Good job Dan Im glad tha plan C worked out for you!

I really liked the game, simple, fun and addictive! Nice combination of cool arcade games! God I got frustrated after a while when my perfect lovely lane got rekt by the ball.

Great fun game Dan, would be nice to be able to customize parameters like nr of balls or tetris difficulty!

A Knight's Bounty by DarkAnice 2018-04-23T02:38:02Z

Short but fun. It plays smoothly and has great potential when more time and work can be put into it.

Pro's - Smooth and responsive gameplay - Good concept - Art is fun to look at - Easy to pick up, probably later on hard to master with more content

Con's - Abrupt ending and relatively short gameplay time - Single enemy type - Bounds of the stage are unclear - No real usage for leveling - You seem to be missing the theme of the jam a little in your game - No real distinction between the classes other than damage and attackSpeed which cancels each other out (sort of)

Some things I'd like to see in this game in the future maybe. (Disregarding the fact that you might change the whole concept when you continue to work on it).

- Character Levels actually doing something - I'd love to see my stats - Different unit types - This has great opportunities for boss battles - Skills/Abilities for a unique experience per class - These type of pitfight games are lovely when driven by a deep narrative

Sick game, nice idea, interesting graphic and gameplay. Probably one of the most original entries ive seen at moment.

As many others have said, it lacks additional visual and audio feedback. But other than that it really plays well. The controls feel smooth as all hell too.

Definitely waiting for VR port 😤

Great game, the mood insanely well done :) Sucks that the game is really large, but the genres mixed rather well. How did you guys finish all this in time, its a miracle

Fun game, looked really nice as well! The art was superb, it set the mood really well and there was quite a bit of visual feedback. Felt rather polished and well designed even with the cat dragging the player down haha.

I just felt hindered by not being able to jump with the W key as space didnt feel natural to me. And the melee attack was difficult to hit on the smaller enemies resulting in the cat or me dying time after time, a bit of a leeway against the enemies wouldve been nice. But still I really like the game and loved the cat!

Nice guys, really well done in such a short amount!

Awesome game, it felt really solid :) I played both the GameJam version and the post and I really dig this game. The artstyle is nice, it plays well and fluid, nice feedback. Cool idea to use a gridlike overlay, unique aesthethic!

Lovely

On The Fly by qkjosh 2018-04-29T15:50:37Z

Wow this is really well made, I love visuals especially! Fun combination and fun to play. Unfortunately it became repetitive really fast, but I dont judge because its a gamejam game and a good one at that!

Funny game, the idea is nice and it worked out pretty well in a fun way. Though I have to say that the controls became a bit frustrating after a while. The artstyle was oddly funny, it'd be cool if you would continue this project!
