[NOPE]

backyard-dev 2018-12-04 07:10

Fun [NOPE]. I really like the graphical [NOPE] when you make noise. Intense [NOPE], good [NOPE] and [NOPE]. Good [NOPE]!

mortifix 2018-12-04 07:22

The graphics were steller and the atmosphere was amazing. Good [NOPE].

corbak 2018-12-04 08:16

Yeah it is a really really great game! I loved playing it and it was such a fun walkthrough. Can't wait to play more of it. Well done :)

2018-12-04 08:28

[Nope]

mateusboga 2018-12-04 18:34

I really like this. It has a very [NOPE] vibe to it. I especially liked the [NOPE] mechanic :) Good job!

makerart 2018-12-04 21:06

It's amasing! Effects, mood, idea! Realy well done one!

You are expiriensed jamers! I'm glad to find this game here! I hope it would be released!

Thanks!

ghostmaple 2018-12-05 05:23

Dang that last level was [NOPE]. This [NOPE] has a lot crammed in for a weekend. Sound effects for [NOPE] were super useful in making sure I knew when to freak the heck out.

william-derksen 2018-12-05 05:42

I gotta say. This was an amazing game. I didn't even get through to the end and kept dying early, but even so it was an amazing experience. I was truly on the edge of my seat trying to manage keeping as many people alive as possible. This was a great experience. Kudos!

arkiruthis 2018-12-05 11:36

Full marks for graphics, sound and mood! Very nice idea, a little bit like SPACE HULK but without a trusty bolt gun or power fist to fall back on! Good use of the theme too, well done!

kirke 2018-12-05 19:35

NOPENOPENOPENOPENOPENOPE!!! I love this word and I'm thrilled you did a game about it! :D I like your art style, it matches with mood of the game :D

pecc0r 2018-12-05 19:39

The sound was so good and very [NOPE]. The atmosphere was incredibly [NOPE]. Great [NOPE] game!

mgoadric 2018-12-05 19:43

Excellent mood and theme integration! This was very tense once [NOPE] started to happen.

icehottet 2018-12-05 19:45

That sneeze! The game is a lot of fun, I love the shadows!

rolle 2018-12-05 19:57

Cool game dudes! Graphics and mood was really great. Also the game and controls felt really tight. Felt like the retro games I used to play on my C64/Amiga, that's a compliment. :) Like a mix of Alien and Star Trek or something.

Well done, and glad to see Phaser used!

kszaku 2018-12-05 20:38

And they said, that you cannot make a spooky strategy game! Holy shit, that was intense. They should give you Alen license, I can easily imagine that game with Xenomorphs as antagonists :) Awesome job! I was hoping to stop goshing, and give you some well deserved review, but damn, I just love spooky industrial scifi horror games, so I'm just going to keep an eye on this one with hope, that someday you will turn this into full experience.

ragtagradical 2018-12-05 21:58

That was a tense experience! Really nice work. Theme execution is perfect.

rohezal 2018-12-05 22:03

This game remembers me a bit about the lost vikings. but a darker top down version of it. very well done.

twinghosts 2018-12-05 22:20

Insane, I was on the edge of my for the whole duration. The atmosphere is awesome, the graphics are good and music and sounds are horrifying! Awesome! The theme is really well integrated, it feels needed and logical at times.

One thing I wish it had was 3D (2D) sound positioning, I got spooked by the NOPE from a unexpected angle too many times, which is cool the first time, but it gets annoying rather quick.

But a great game nontheless :D

amour-du-pain 2018-12-05 22:21

You probably thought all my survivors died slaughtered by a creepy monster ? NOPE, they've been taxidermized by Chuck Testa.

Seriously, that is a great entry. Most tense game I've played in a jam, the game design really emphasis the overall mood. And everything seems so polished, weel done, really !

northerndevguy 2018-12-06 03:31

This was a beautiful game, audio was great. Was a little confusing at first what to do but once you figure it out it was fun to play. Nice experience overall, good job!

pancakefriday 2018-12-06 09:13

So I was looking forward to playing your game. The visuals are gorgeous, you really nailed it. The gameplay itself felt really polished and it got quite tense. Loved the small details, like lights going out, when [NOPE] passed over them. Really good implementation with the theme. I'd struggle leaving people behind but I had to do it to save most of the other people. Great job!

buguser 2018-12-06 12:10

Oh my [NOPE]! What an intense experience! This just felt so creepy. Till now the worst experience of sacrifices for me. Never felt so bad leaving someone behind. I really didn't mean to!! Love the thick atmo, the dark graphics and sounds and are really struggeling to decide what to do instead of waiting to be eaten. Nice job implementing the theme.

Oh and a big thumbsup for the [NOPE]play!

diego-burgos 2018-12-08 20:50

Very fun, the mood was so nice, my favorite [NOPE] was the [NOPE] and maybe you should work on the[NOPE]. Very nice [NOPE]!

cincerteri 2018-12-08 21:07

Fantastic game. The atmosphere was extremely creepy and the mechanics were smooth and easily understood. Great job!

fenerax 2018-12-08 21:59

Really nice game interesting take on the theme, the controls were a little confusing to begin with but once I got it the game was really fun. It's a really unique game for this jam I haven't played many like it good job.

nathanhoad 2018-12-08 22:58

Nooooope.

The first bit cleverly lured me into thinking it might not be so hard but noooope. I love the sound effect of the creature and the feeling of dread that came from hearing it, knowing you were soon to be [NOPE].

cassio-eduardo 2018-12-09 00:56

This is among the best that I've played so far. The mechanics are simple, but it's pretty well executed and the atmosphere is very good.

Good job.

prodigalson 2018-12-09 14:22

So....I think I may have missed something. First let me say well done on the setting up and keeping the mood. 5 starts for that no doubt! Second, it reminded me of playing the classic Starcraft single player campaign missions where you navigated a single unit through infested corridors as you added to your party and tried to survive so that nostalgia made it even more [NOPE] for me. Then, it all stop there. Perhaps it was too slow into giving me some form of obstacle that I just missed it. Still, the game is well done and I love the suspense in it. Well done

yopox 2018-12-09 22:41

Excellent game ! I loved the tense atmosphere :ghost: The fitting SFX and the awesome title screen show how much polish you did, congrats !

pinho 2018-12-14 16:54

Kind game, you have create a mood that fits your intentions very well. The game is clearly readable and understadable, except for the letters on doors and plates, it's a bit confusing sometimes.

The game is stressful. I was disturbed when my guys was afraid by the beast, good surprise, and well executed !

But I suffered the game because it's hard to manage the group. Some levels are hard and confusing ( maybe the letters ? ). Balance is difficult to achieve because it depends on the number of survivors the player has managed to keep. Perhaps can this aspect be simplified by offering unique levels? By doing this, you will probably lose the player's commitment. The player must maximize the number of survivors at the end of the level in this meta... It's a question of design choices.

Some experiments can be made.

It's still nice work !

franfox 2018-12-18 12:32

First of all, congratulations! That's a great horror game! I really liked the atmosphere you'd created, the fact you control a group of people and how they reacts to fear, entering in panic. The creature is really cool too! Well done!

The first run I've played I've started with many people but at certain point, when I was alone with Giuseppe Slow, I died. Then I've tried to play the game from the beginning but now I always start only with this guy... After some tests I've noticed that It only happens to me on Safari for Mac, weird, right? I'll keep playing on Chrome, no worries. I'll try to beat the game when the sun goes down! :crescent_moon: :fearful:
