LD42 — Running out of space

Hitch Bird by Hjalte 2018-08-16T01:44:36Z

Nice graphics, actually felt a bit relaxing taking a ride on the back of the elephant. With some nicer flying animations it could be really nice. Pretty funny becoming the demon bird, but i think it was a little bit too easy to use that each time. Great entry :)

Delivery Boi by JCMonkey 2018-08-16T00:40:41Z

Funny voice acting, controls are easy enough. Nice graphics as well. Didnt often feel like i was running out of space. Good effort.

Sweet Squire O' Mine by Plepletier 2018-08-15T05:47:53Z

Cool idea on the theme, however i didnt ever feel like i was ever running out of space, i think it would be fun if the shop gave the option to buy more objects that would make you fill up your inventory faster.

Loved the art and animations, really nicely executed . A fun call back to Diablo. Well done.

All The Things! by Snowdrama 2018-08-14T02:36:10Z

I tried the browsers version and it didn't work for me at all unfortunately, screen was cropped weirdly and no graphics shows up. I ended up downloading it, and enjoyed myself a lot more. I like the feeling of placing furniture in logical positions, until you start running out of space and just place stuff everywhere. Nice simple art style. The controls are a bit confusing at first, but once i got used to them they were ok. I didnt quiet feel the theme of it being a digital hard drive, it felt more like a interior designer running out of room, maybe a few more digital effects could sell that idea more. Overall it was well made and i enjoyed myself, good job.

Djabo by thomas-olsson 2018-08-16T01:16:07Z

Great atmosphere, amazing art and beautiful audio. Amazing polish all round. Great entry.

EVOLUTION by Noa Calice 2018-08-16T02:27:29Z

Great entry. I absolutely loved the art style and all the interactions build into each character/building. Really impressive.

I think the aim of the game felt a bit counter intuitive with the art style, you kill the planet to win? having different ways to win could have been nice.

Game play was simple, i think if there was some kind of early game where you could clicking on things that spawn on the map to speed up gaining resources would make the early game more enjoyable (eg plants vs zombies sun drops around on the map you can click on).

Great atmosphere and humor, really fun style and could see this expanded upon. Excellent entry and really impressive.

Better Than Thanos by Vekstr 2018-08-16T00:52:08Z

Great little entry. Really nice art, and good polish on the menus. Audio was good. Controls felt responsive. The option to scroll to make the mouse larger felt a bit pointless why not always have the largest brush on (not sure if it gave you more points)? I think it would be cool to have objectives that make your mouse larger. Fit the theme well, so great entry!

BLOCKADE by PixelJerry 2018-08-16T02:09:48Z

Great game, some nice polish, good graphics, audio and found myself playing for longer than most other games.

The special blocks add a nice bit of variety to the game play. The jump felt a little punishing, and i feel like it would have made game play a bit more enjoyable if it didnt place down the blocks, movement and momentum would have become more of a feature of a game if that was changed.

Great submissions!

The Kessler Problem by catbutt 2018-08-15T08:30:34Z

This is a cool entry, i had a similar idea through the jam, but ended with something else, so its cool to see someone else bring it to life. Starts out simple and escalates quickly. I like how once you have a few satellites orbiting it actually becomes a game about dodging the others. Atmosphere is nice, pretty relaxing and first, until it gets a bit crazy in space. Would be cool to see other types of satellites or asteroids etc. Well done.

The Battle for the Earth by baconsenpaii 2018-08-16T01:29:49Z

Enjoyed the character creation built into the first bit of script. Some good writing, may have been good to have different colored text for the player and other characters. Some people said there was music? i didnt hear any, maybe a bug or i just didn't get to it? Great entry well done.

VCR STAR by erebus 2018-08-15T07:31:36Z

Great idea here, really entertaining watching all the video. Struggled with some of the controls and just watched the show for the fun of it. I enjoyed the sense of discovery you get from the game. Click on things and finding out what they do is a strong point, but also makes it hard to know what you are meant to be doing. Really innovative and a good entry.

Crispy's Planetary Survival by Batsphemy 2018-08-13T17:33:20Z

Simple mechanics and easy to play, its a fun challenge having to keep up with dodging and scoring the points at the same time. Had a bug with one of the 'characters' what looked like eating a bunch of asteroids then disappearing, my score sky rocketed but i had nothing to do. I like the simple art style of the asteroids, but i think the background could be a bit more interesting. Nicely done!

Overflow by antoined73 2018-08-13T16:28:18Z

This was so good! Love the feel of the boat (sometimes). It has a really good atmosphere! A weird blend between peaceful and stressful in a good way. Keen to see this idea expanded on, feels like it has a lot of potential.

Evolucity - Build as high as you can! by Mazzletov 2018-08-15T07:33:27Z

Cool idea, got really hard really fast. Some of the placement mechanics felt a little bit off, but they may just be because of the browser version. Nice and clean art, and fun to see everything turn to mayhem.

Warehouse Madness by Andreadbx 2018-08-13T16:15:40Z

I didnt quiet understand what to do at first. I spent a while spamming boxes. Almost gave up on it until i came and read the comments hear about the stacking order. Much more fun, although felt like i couldn't move fast enough to get every box down. Controls feel good, animation and visuals are really nice.

Purple Void by mochakingup 2018-08-14T05:30:32Z

Beautiful art, the menus feel really polished. I love the the whole look of the level, especially the background. The audio fits nicely.

Game play feels good, would have been nice to have a bit of feed back on how much damage you are doing to the boss. Also is the dash and attack the same? maybe you could dash slightly further forwards to distinguish between them. Overall really enjoyed this game. Very well made.

Postman by tulipekoni 2018-08-14T05:44:31Z

Well done i think this game is great. Love the art style, super clean and polished. Audio fits well and i enjoyed grooving along to it.

The throwing mechanic is really nice, feels satisfying scoring throws in 1 go. Not sure if it was my browser, the double jump felt a bit inconsistent and took away from the fun a bit. Over all a great entry.

Space Warehouse by meatpudding 2018-08-16T06:37:25Z

The god damn empire!! This game was really good, I had a lot of fun playing this, lost track of time. I would love to see this idea taken further. I think if you keep working on this game, a campaign and story with the empire could play out really well. I could also see other events and defending/upgrading your platform becoming a thing. It did feel a little bit too easy, and not having an end goal eventually got me to stop playing. The audio fit really nice, and the graphics while simple were very effective. Also why do people need so many buckets in space? Great entry!

Fuoco and Tenebra by Optimans 2018-08-13T09:36:25Z

Nice work, Reminds me of don't starve. I manged to escape from the light in 1 round, but then wasn't able to the other. I think some more instruction on how the fires are kept alight would be useful, so rocks build a new fire and wood sustains them? I wasn't quiet sure. Could see this concept expanded with more resources and enemies and it could be really fun.

The Curse by jiukka 2018-08-16T01:52:34Z

Good effort. Graphics and sound were nice.

Controls felt frustrating to use at first d and q? Loved the idea of solving puzzles to get around the map. Wasnt really clear on your LD page, or in game that you needed to use the mouse to navigate around.

Good effort

Dystopia Tycoon by Hare Software 2018-08-15T04:55:21Z

Great game here, i actually found myself replaying this several times over having a lot of fun. The balance between power, solar, and apartments works really well. Art style is effective, and the UI is clean and easy to understand. Great Entry.

Forkin' It Up by Eric Smith 2018-08-16T07:02:04Z

So the controls are crazy! i both love it and hate it. Once i started out it felt so difficult to get any pallets, however once you start getting a better understanding of them it can turn into a fun little challenge, im glad you made it so that only active pallets can be manipulated. However, sometimes it can still get a bit out of control once you think you are getting better and that can get a bit frustrating. The graphics are simple and effective. The music works for the theme of the game, however it does get a little repetitive. Great job!

Tale of the Bagger: A Love Story by trozen 2018-08-13T06:46:29Z

Got to Level 10, it really ramps up after that. Love the groovy music and the PA going off in the background, fits the theme of the game really well. Great to see so many item variations and the combinations they had, really made it a lot of fun. Well done!

One Man's Trash by mike_inPrinciple 2018-08-15T03:45:27Z

Great game here! I loved the sound fx put in to each object, blowing them to make space actually felt really good as well it gave the game a lot of personality. The chaotic nature fit the theme perfectly, and watching objects fling out and just managing to save them last minute felt really good. Would be cool to see even more variation in the objects and in their sizes. Great entry!

Zlinx by frontlinesaint 2018-08-14T09:20:20Z

Good little game here, really dig the triple jump, sometimes it feels more optimal to do 1 jump vs 3 and that makes the gameplay feel fun and varied. Only got to level 3 so im not sure if it changes later but would be keen to see it with some more variation in the look of the levels. Well done.

Dogs on the Bed by Sharky3188 2018-08-14T02:41:44Z

@mrserp You don't have 20+ dogs in your household? I would love to add a few more game play elements (jackets to warm dogs, bones that take dogs off the bed etc), we had many more ideas just ran out of time. Thanks for the feedback :).

Dogs on the Bed by Sharky3188 2018-08-16T07:06:27Z

@peachtreeoath Thanks really appreciate it. On the morning of the jam I was lying in bed thinking of ideas when our Labrador jumped onto the bed and lay down. Were also looking after a friends pug, and the pug jumped onto the bed sat on top of our lab and an idea was born.

Corrupt Space by jmswrnr 2018-08-14T09:51:48Z

Love the atmosphere in this game, really cool concept. Executed really well. You could take this idea really far. Feels like a really good story could be build in around this.

Backey - Your Personal Backpack Manager by Horun 2018-08-14T15:45:45Z

Love the idea behind this game, feels really fun choosing what to pick up and and what to leave behind. I like the idea of getting creative with all the things you could do with this. Not sure if you have them in, but some other weapons would be cool.

Dead Zone by Melmo 2018-08-14T05:58:04Z

Cool concept, i think it works well with the theme. Music fits nicely.

I think a bit more feed back on the shields would be nice, it didnt feel like they were responding when getting hit. The controls with a mouse felt a bit rough, making it hard to aim, if it was a bit more precise would make it a lot more fun. This has a lot of potential to make some great art for, would love to see it expanded on. Great effort for a first time.

Crumble by anstabo 2018-08-14T15:53:20Z

Great game here, beautiful visuals and tight controls. Fun trying a bunch of different routs.

ROoS by Stephen Coley 2018-08-16T02:32:09Z

Really like the limited jumping mechanics, made for some fun challenges. Art style is simple and effective. Audio is nice and it fits well with the theme. Great entry.

WASH UR BALLZ by SteamPunkProgrammer 2018-08-15T03:29:14Z

Cool concept, i think the 'paint' mechanics worked really nicely. The player felt responsive, loved jumping around or bouncing off things. The camera lock was really frustrating, not sure if it was a bug or a penalty, but it ruined some of the momentum of the game. Would be cool to see some sort of power up or special abilities included. Overall good effort.

Boxed by Devio 2018-08-13T16:48:26Z

I really like the style of this, it reminds me of portal and the comics/safety people. I loved the people in the que, the feedback with the sweat and # symbols feels really nice and adds to the fun of it. Controls could be a bit tighter, felt like i was clicking back and forth in the same spots a bit too often. Well done.

Boom Boom Farms! by Telefrag Entertainment 2018-08-14T06:13:02Z

Love the idea on this one, was keen to play this after checking out the dev blogs. Kept yelling at the things to get away from each other, which added to the fun.

Art works well, i think the creatures could be a bit cuter which i feel fits with your theme a bit more. Also the coins didnt really feel like they had enough incentive to collect. I think the idea could easily be expanded on and made into a really fun game. Well done.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Microstrike by TheSand 2024-10-11T03:20:24Z

Great job! At first i thought the game was quiet simple and it didn't have a lot of depth, but as i played a bit more it was nice to see that there was some more of the game to explore with the level up system. Some audio really would have helped this as the graphics on their own probably need something to complement them to give the game a bit more juice. I really like the little chunks that were taken off the enemies each time you hit then, a nice small detail.

Vox Regis by Sheepolution 2024-10-08T04:35:21Z

Really fantastic concept! Great use of the theme, and i love all the audio ques, great bit of humour added! The gameplay felt really satisfying and i wanted to keep playing.

TINY PACK by xk_the_name 2024-10-10T05:45:00Z

Fantastic entry, found myself wanting to keep playing for quiet a bit longer than expect. Would love to see the concept fleshed out a bit more, but overall a great entry.

Colony Clash by stormburpee 2024-10-11T03:39:54Z

A cool game, very much similar to something like an auto battler. I'm not sure if all the cards were working as intended? After the ant died it was meant to give health? but i don't feel like it ever worked. Some of the battles felt a bit overly random, i didn't really have much chance to strategize and i would make a build for it to totally fail because of random chance. Overall though, really nice presentation, the card designs and graphics really came together very nice. The audio was great and with a bit more polish i could picture this being a very fun game.

Bento Bugs by superjai 2024-10-09T04:27:15Z

Juice! Awesome fun game, really satisfying and the upgrades felt really rewarding. The visuals are well presented. All the food looks delicious and i love the effect on the bug goo. The end screen with the jar filling up is very satisfying. Some minor balance issues and i think some of the waves can feel a bit long as my wrists started hurting. Great entry. Overflow.png

Micronaut: The Blob Rescue by GabrielProgrammer 2024-10-07T11:41:36Z

I love the sense of scale that your managed to capture, feeling like a tiny little alien creature is really nice. However that also feels like a bit of a downfall, as it takes too long to get anywhere. I did notice the speed up from collecting the blobs, but I think you could have brought a few more in closer. The art is simple but effective. Good job.

Creepy Crawly Mansion by frozenfire92 2024-10-11T05:56:57Z

Really cool little mini games, i wish there were more. Really liked the match lighting and the cauldron mini game. The presentation is really nice, all the graphics look really good. Wasn't feeling the theme super strong, i wish there was a mini game that had that as more of a focus (maybe like a whack a mole/creature?) Otherwise great job.

Build The Sun by TRASEVOL_DOG 2024-10-10T01:03:05Z

I love this style of game! So disappointed that i haven't seen more like this in the jam. Overall awesome! Filled with so much personality. The way the little creatures whizz around the trees and become the different types is really satisfying. Super clean and simple UX, i love this kind of clean design. The darkness had a great sense of exploration and i was intrigued to explore further into the world. I was a little bit confused on what everything was doing at first, maybe some more feedback on what things do. eg the houses and farms? Do they give more creatures? The art was beautiful, though it did feel a bit too zoomed in on my ultra wide. The main goal of building the sun was a great goal to work towards. Fantastic entry.

Bubble Blast Cleanup by abductedPlatypus 2024-10-09T03:22:04Z

The concept of a tiny creature cleaning your dishes is really cuter and fun. I liked the eating animations, it added a lot to the character. A couple of things I think you could improve. The speed of the character is very slow, especially falling, it makes the game more tedious than it needs to be. Some inputs seem to be a bit delayed, for example the guys that lift, often wouldn't always respond to my inputs. The timer also feels a little unnecessary (maybe it comes in on later levels?), I think maybe you could give players a score instead of having to wait on the creature. The puzzle solving was fun and an interesting take of the theme.

Desk Crawlers by katamary 2024-10-07T11:33:36Z

Awesome entry! I love all the fun sfx and the cute art. It's pretty fun slowly building up a big army of tiny creatures. Some UX feedback would be to stop the camera panning on the lower sections of the screen when clicking through the different actions. Some of the actions could also be explained a bit better, i still wasn't quiet sure what some things were doing by the end of my play through. Overall great job.

If You Give A Mouse A Machinegun by Shaolin Dave 2024-10-08T04:23:14Z

The text at the end gave me a chuckle. Not sure why you chose that control scheme? Very different, i would suggest going with more of an industry standard in the future (eg space jump) as it can make it feel a bit more frustrating than it needs to be. I wish you luck on the next one!

BlobRescue! by mgear 2024-10-07T11:07:44Z

A simple but entertaining concept. Its fun to try and beat your best score.

Stellar Slime Ranch by Arqcenick 2024-10-08T01:10:56Z

Fun wave defence concept, really satisfying to build bigger and bigger turrets. It would have been nice to be able to place the turrets where i wanted, as the management of picking up and placing new turrets got a bit tedious.

Bug Bazaar by Jared Saizdelamora 2024-10-09T03:07:04Z

A nice concept of building up a little creature selling business. I think having the tutorial on the paper at the start should tried to be incorporated into the main game. It was very hard to read, and it had a bit too much text. Graphics could be worked on a little bit more to help immerse me in the world. I think with a simple concept like this having it visually appealing would draw me into feel more invested in my creatures. Overall a solid concept.

Oblob by HermesEs 2024-10-08T04:04:25Z

Great concept, very cool feeling collecting all the cute little creatures. Good use of the theme! Some feedback would be in regards to the delay on the camera, frequently went out of frame and it became difficult to see where I was going. Overall great atmosphere and cute concept.

Blood Crux by Dmitry Kaidash 2024-10-09T23:57:49Z

Really fun and tight controls with a satisfying combat system. A nice overall atmosphere and some great animations on the character. Would have liked a bit more camera control at that angle, but that came down to more of a personal preference. Would love to see how you could expand upon the game. Great entry.

Many Tiny Creatures by zell 2024-10-07T10:55:39Z

Interesting concept, your menu description of it was very confusing, I didn't figure out you could change the units with the number keys, till much too late. Once I had that sorted the concept and overall fun became much more interesting.

Getting Bugger by RizeDovah 2024-10-09T02:38:29Z

Unfortunately i couldn't get past the main menu. I'm not sure if it was a screen issue.

Flea Patrol by Sviborg 2024-10-08T00:02:09Z

Awesome job, really creative take on the theme. Some puzzles where you had to push against the left wall felt a bit weird without an object there, but not a bit deal overall. Great job.

Whisker Warrior by Taximan981 2024-10-11T04:02:54Z

@bork-bork Yep I created all the assets in the 3 days (it was a bit hectic). The mouse had some animations from mixamo, i unfortunately didn't find time to swap them out with some custom made ones. I did end up animating the slug and spider, which I wasn't expecting to do that at the start of the jam. I was also pretty happy with the terrain texture, I'm not really great with hand painting, but just booted up a youtube tutorial and came up with something. Funny we had time to add music and thought it would be ok without, haha definitely will remember to add it next time. Thanks so much for playing and giving feedback :)

One of us will make it by Arkatme 2024-10-07T10:19:35Z

Really nice game, some fun puzzles ones that made me genuinely think for a moment, level 7 was one i thought may be bugged, but after a few attempts i figured it out. The characters and audio added a nice touch. Overall great work.

Sneaky Mouky by victor_reiner 2024-10-09T05:18:58Z

Really cute game, the visuals are all really nice. The rmb poses and audio are hilarious. Some of the detection gameplay could have been fleshed out a bit more, maybe more cooldowns between when you're being checked. Otherwise a really solid entry.

Ladybug's Underworld by Dekajoo 2024-10-07T11:16:52Z

So the atmosphere felt really nice, however on one of my monitors (higher quality) it was so dark i could barely see anything. I think some of the jumps etc feel a little bit tediously annoying, i ended up having to re-do multiple jumps over and over because i missed it by an inch. The mechanics feel nice, and overall the graphics (when i can see them) look great.

Kumamushi no Samurai by Codeman1010 2024-10-08T06:55:16Z

I also fell off the map from travelling too far to the left. Overall the atmosphere is really nice, i love the mushrooms the way they are glowing behind you, would have been awesome to see some sort of rim lighting light up the player when you passed under them. Combat felt pretty snappy, it would have been nice if there was some more telegraphing on the enemies and overall feedback to the player. Good overall effort.

Plan Bee by JHax 2024-10-09T05:29:08Z

I struggled a bit with understanding how i was meant to be playing the game. Overall though i liked the premise and i found myself quiet engaged regardless of how well i understood it.

Racoon Romance by BangKerpow 2024-10-11T05:31:35Z

A cute game which is carried by the lovely little story that goes along with it. The game play is decent, i really like the sprint mechanic after being chased by the townsfolk. It does get a little repetitive after a while, but wanting to finish the story I kept going with it. Great work.

Moskitos !!! Vengeance Of The Terror From The Sleepless Night by Vaanrile 2024-10-10T02:44:16Z

PTSD! This is way too close to reality. Loved all the random physics based interactions. Simple but well put together.

DeskBuddy by Rambar 2024-10-11T05:00:46Z

Super cute and well executed concept. Loved seeing all the different sort of unlocks/achievements you could get (yes i pressed the button 666 times without an auto clicker). Not sure what the button actually does, if it does anything at all? but otherwise really well done.

Ratrace by Malte Hedenstrom 2024-10-09T02:45:30Z

A fun concept that suits the theme well. I found the camera was a real issue. The controls felt inverted. I also think it would be nice to telegraph when a cat is about to land on an area as i would constantly lose a run to a random cat spawning. The game felt very dark on my screen main screen as well, almost at a point of it becoming hard to see. Overall i liked the physics destruction system, with a few other areas fleshed out it would be a really fun game.

Bugtallion by goodwincek 2024-10-11T03:53:53Z

Really solid game, i wasn't sure what to expect when i started playing, but i quickly found my self invested in the match. The gameplay is very simple, yet the upgrading and positing on units really makes you consider your best moves, i love how each dice roll really changes up how to consider your next move. I would have liked some potential safety nets for bad rolls (like a chance to re-roll but lose a unit or something), but i could picture that being fleshed out more down the line. I could very easily see this being expanded upon. The audio was great really fit the theme and kept me wanting to play more. Great entry!

tiny villages by OldDog 2024-10-10T06:43:05Z

Loved playing this. Replayed it again just to try and see how much i could change up the starting economy. Really satisfying and awesome visuals. Not super convinced on the theme I feel like that aspect could have been pushed further, even the creatures and people all looked regular size, so a bit disappointed by that. I think you could have gone down a few other routes to push that theme further. Obviously the balance is a bit off (game jam), but that kind of made it even more fun. Reminds me of a mix between Kingdom and cookie clicker, super satisfying game, I would love to see it expanded upon.

Mon - Shared Pet Simulator by Andreia 2024-10-07T11:21:01Z

Cute art, overall i wasn't sure what the gameplay loop was meant to be? Am i just spamming the buttons or should i be pressing them in a certain order? The customisation options are a nice addition.

Flare in the Dark by Jony 2024-10-11T03:27:29Z

A fun concept that i think with a bit more polish could have really shinned. I think one of the biggest issues for me was the floaty controls, if i pressed forwards it was hard to gauge when i would stop, making it some what difficult to predict. I also sometime got stuck unable to pick up objects as the amount the character would move was too far. I think you could solve this by either making the character constantly moving, or change up the controls so its much tighter and speed up all the projectiles over time. The art was ok, a lot of the trees had some really bad aliasing which was quiet distracting. Overall though great work for completing a game.

Da Eg Hatcha by itsBoats 2024-10-08T04:55:00Z

Not normally a fan of physics aiming games, but this one was a lot of fun, i could see how someone could really master speed running this.

Tiny Ducks by osh.studio 2024-10-08T06:47:04Z

Awesome entry! I had a lot of fun with this, suggested this to a few team mates to try out. Reminds me a lot of slay the spire (which I assume was the inspiration), but it felt different enough to stand out on its own. The strategy was a lot of fun, great to try and maximise a run, with all sorts of different builds. Really liked the way each character had a different role you had to mix and match with taking damage vs the cards you use. Honestly I could see the game expanded upon into something more.

Araneae by WouterK12 2024-10-08T03:54:51Z

Very pretty game, with a lot of atmosphere! I didn't quiet understand what the story was, however the world felt really interesting and i was intrigued to learn more about it. It would have been good to add in some basic puzzles for a bit more gameplay, however the overall presentation/cinematic feel was well put together.

Goo Patrol by Mateu 2024-10-08T04:50:43Z

Sucking up the goo felt so good! I love the way the goo stretching towards the suction, really made the game so much more enjoyable. Overall a really solid execution. All the physics felt really fun and the the funny scribbles added a lot to the overall mood.

Noah's Rabbit Chase by Jesse Martin 2024-10-09T03:31:32Z

Struggled with the overall concept of the game, took me a while to figure out what to do. Could see the concept being fleshed out a bit more and being much more fun.

Critter Quest by FlyingKaida 2024-10-09T05:44:43Z

Some snappy combat with a cute environment and atmosphere. I had some issues with jumping as i would frequently get stuck on the sides of block and it made the jumping feel a little less enjoyable. Overall good job.

Papercat Farms by BalimaarTheBassFish 2024-10-11T05:49:21Z

A really nice and cosy entry. Loved the audio, gave me a good chuckle hearing the cat meowing in the background, fit very nicely with the theme. Overall the game felt well put together and the upgrade system was pretty nice to use. Planting seeds was the one thing I was disappointing I couldn't upgrade, but the other upgrades made up for that. I didn't really understand the hunger systems, I read some comments and people say you can die from it? Feels a bit unnecessary. Maybe replacing that with something like feeding a town for more points or something? Art style works well for what you were going for. Maybe a few extra animations would be nice. Overall great job.

sobeloɯ by Coderah 2024-10-10T03:10:03Z

Very nice concept. I didn't realise I could rotate right until the end of the door puzzle. Would love to see move puzzles overall. Great atmosphere.

Paquito by PoutreLoutre 2024-10-08T04:13:30Z

Nice atmosphere, i wasn't able to pick up the items. Not sure what the controls were as the starting screen was out of frame for me. Might be worth adding some more info on your Ludum Dare page.

SHIPWHACKED by deadjolly 2024-10-10T07:00:55Z

Great work on this entry! Overall visuals were really fun and I loved seeing all the different boat types and especially liked seeing all the sinking wreckage as you've destroyed it.

The tentacles are a bit awkward to aim, i do really like the way you separated them out into the 4 different parts (i thought that was very well done), however seeing when they were aiming felt like I was constantly missing where i thought it was about to hit, the helicopters were a prime example. It would also be nice to know what my goal was, I'm assuming just survive as long as possible. It would have been good to make the game a bit more difficult earlier so I could get a good sense of survival and want to beat my best score. Maybe a bit more feedback on getting hit would also be nice. Overall though, really well put together.

MiniMayhem by Phyrocast 2024-10-11T04:51:59Z

Really fun little game, definitely enjoyed replaying it multiple times to try different builds. Would love to see some sort of meta game incorporated into it. Great work.

PODVAL The Game by Almaz 2024-10-10T03:19:14Z

Good atmosphere, the graphics looked decent. Would have enjoyed a bit more content.

Burn EM‘ All by Lzic 2024-10-10T05:16:34Z

Pretty cool game, i just wish there was a little bit more too it. Some kind of upgrades for the magnifying glass would have been good, or maybe needing to get the right angle to get more power. At the later stages when people rapidly pop in, it was very satisfying but then immediately frustrating i couldn't burn them fast enough. Overall a fun use of the theme and a good entry.

Let it Bee by Skeltor 2024-10-08T06:29:25Z

Nice work, some fun strategy involved. A few UX feedback notes. Green move tiles on grass was really hard to see where i was moving, i would suggest any other colour. Having the wasps and hornets having turns when they werent on the first few maps felt a bit pointless. More feedback on how I'm meant to deal with the wasps/hornets would be nice. Overall though fit the theme well and was fun to play.

Skyfall by Sevadusk 2024-10-08T08:55:08Z

Overall a quick and fun game rounds are very quick, maybe a bit too quick as it gets to a point where i didnt feel like i could catch up. However chaining together explosions was a lot of fun and the gameplay was enjoyable.

Mini Beaker by LePeridot 2024-10-09T05:56:48Z

So well presented! I love all the personality squeezed out of every inch of the game. The UI, audio, graphics, writing, UX all felt top notch. Smashing the tiny creatures feels very satisfying. Great entry.

Divine Intern by Pcho 2024-10-11T04:23:25Z

I really love the concept here, but turning the wheel was soooo hard. Would love to see this fleshed out with a bit better UX. Overall the aesthetic is nice, i wish there was a bit more audio to tie it all together. great work.

Hive Havoc by Tkap1 2024-10-08T00:16:55Z

Awesome game, i played this way longer than i expected to. I really love the progression ark, and building up a little drone army. Great to see the variety of gameplay you can have on each playthrough. Only feedback is the currency between the hive and lower bars was a bit confusing, i didn't realise i was spending my main "goal" currency. Might have helped having an icon or something to show the connection between the two. Great job.

AHHElevator by AlxJE 2024-10-07T10:27:42Z

Really interesting take on the theme. I really enjoyed the overall design of the game, and i could see how you could expand on it further. Great job.

Leafling builders by Kotolazer 2024-10-10T05:59:41Z

Great cosy style game. Really awesome audio and the general look and feel of the game makes it feel very relaxing to play. All the creatures around the level really help sell the theme and the art is very well done. To give some feedback i think gameplay could be a bit more engaging, i feel like you could have introduced the leaf maintenance tasks 1 by 1, that way I get a sense of changing gameplay and it stops the game from feeling too repetitive. Great entry.

ANTventure Time by Dywanix 2024-10-12T02:04:03Z

Really fun game, that fits with the theme well. I wanted to keep playing this for quiet a while. I still didn't really understand the concept of the different ant types, like if i had a a tab open was i spawning that type or was that only for the upgrades? How many of each type did i have? I think this area of the game could have been made a lot clearer. Otherwise it was super fun, great entry.

GLOW by Fenix131113 2024-10-11T05:14:43Z

Beautiful game, very cool atmosphere. I also really like the premise for the story. Some checkpoints felt a little frustrating at points, I wish certain areas saved a bit more progress. I had to re-do the first box pressure plate multiple times over as I kept accidentally doing the wrong things. I think the presentation is top notch.

Wish Town by Iwant_Pizza 2024-10-10T02:35:52Z

Very creepy! The little clowns animations were quiet unsettling. Overall the world and puzzles were a fun distraction that with a bit more fleshing out could make for a compelling experience. I think you could play a bit more with the lighting, as the flashlight didn't really feel like it did a lot and i think not being able to see would add to the overall atmosphere. Got stuck on the section after the sheep as I couldn't find the flashlight again. Great to see the voice acting in, really added to the overall creepy experience.

Rats of Anubis by Adna0 2024-10-07T10:05:43Z

Enemies are pretty tanky, I think scaling them up over time may have made for a bit more of an enjoyable run. Some good atmosphere, especially like the menu art.

Shrunken Adventures by treehuggerbear 2024-10-08T04:19:58Z

My character was getting stuck on the slope at the start, eventually got past it, but then got stuck at the base of the map. Liked the mood and dialogue, unfortunate i couldn't progress further.

Things that I Treasure by Gamayun.Games 2024-10-09T02:26:14Z

Really good use of the concept and incorporating that into a nice story. The puzzles had a good mix of difficulty and problem solving. Overall good feedback on the overall controls. It would be nice to be able to swap out objects with one another to avoid as much double clicking, but not really a major issue. Lovely atmosphere, overall great entry.

MICROSLAYER by jellyfishhunter 2024-10-08T00:26:04Z

Great work! I really like the overall visuals, the boss looked great, i especially liked its attack animations. Combat felt decent. Great work.

Slime Tower by Just a dev 2024-10-09T04:53:28Z

A fun concept that when you lined up the correct angle to build the slime tower it felt pretty good. I think the alignment may have been a tad too punishing as times where i thought it should be connecting it didnt. I didn't really find much use for the dash and block abilities. Overall though good fun.

Green Shell by Kekwu 2024-10-11T04:07:55Z

A cool concept, unfortunately the game seemed to bug out quiet often for me. The story telling felt good, i especially liked the achievements. Its unfortunate i couldn't progress much further.

RATSTALKER by mmph 2024-10-07T10:44:48Z

Loved the atmosphere on this one, especially the audio on the mice, it felt very unsettling. Maybe would have liked a few more land marks to be able to make it back to the generator a bit easier, but overall i had a good time. Great work.

In the Depths by Zebonny 2024-10-09T06:40:34Z

The old style graphics work really well here, they help add to the dark atmosphere. Gameplay was simple and a little confusing at first, but i eventually got a hang of it. I of course had to swim into the big fish.

Little Chef by DERRIXX 2024-10-08T00:33:47Z

Great UI, not sure if the game was bugged out on chopping, but i couldn't make it much further. Shame as the overall product seems very nice. I somehow cut my hand and really liked how getting the bandage and healing up was part of the gameplay.

Cheddar or Dead: The Purrfect Nightmare by nishchiretvasily 2024-10-11T04:34:45Z

A really well made experience, the atmosphere was on point and sold the sense of scale really well. I felt quiet invested in trying to get the cheese. The cat was terrifying in all the right ways. Great audio and good visuals, excellent work.

Tiny layout by batterbomb 2024-10-11T03:13:05Z

Fun concept with the cute little mouse family. The interactions were a good part of the gameplay loop, although i think they could have been made a little bit more easy to use. Maybe a single interaction when going near objects.

Beyond Fear by Arsmih24 2024-10-10T03:26:23Z

Stunning art! Really pulled me into the game. The character controller felt a little bit stiff and a bit too slow, i would have liked to see that more fleshed out. Love the parallax effect on the background, once again the art and atmosphere were top notch. Great work.

Creatures of Habit (unfinished!!1) by itcz 2024-10-08T04:42:35Z

This feels super interesting, a shame you weren't able to fully finish the game as the concept feels really strong. Better luck next time.

Hexoban by PlasmaPuffs 2024-10-09T06:56:59Z

Great game, really nice UX and a clean art style. The puzzle were fun and trying to get the minimum moves was very satisfying. Great entry.

Gunpoint Sojourners by llikdowk 2024-10-07T11:56:37Z

Overall really nice visuals and atmosphere.

Antastic Antventure by maruvihane 2024-10-09T04:41:49Z

Those ant eaters are looking fly! Fun little game, had a nice intensity to it that got me pretty invested, i do wish there was a bit more variety as the level went on. I think a different sprite would have been great for the tiles you could pass through, just like a dirt passage or something similar, the red dot wasn't the easiest to see and thematically would have been nice to have something else in. The timer felt a bit unnecessary as I was constrained by the camera so I couldn't go faster. It made me think for a while that it was just survive as long as possible, eventually you had the half way point which confirmed there was an ending. Overall a fun game with the music adding a lot to the intensity.

Horseless Headman by SwanBoat 2024-10-10T09:05:03Z

Very cool design, and some fun gameplay. I loved the pack of cards for your health, very creative idea. The enemies all felt varied and fun to play against. Maybe a tiny bit more enemy scaling would have been good towards the end as i felt it was almost a bit too easy. The main character is certainly the star of the show, some fantastic art. Very well polished, great entry.

LD57 — Depths

Walking Simulator by Tero Pulkkinen 2025-04-10T10:17:23Z

Wild ride.

Echoes of the deep by BadPinkChicken 2025-04-07T13:20:42Z

Loved the way you did the radar in this. Really good getting to select the loadouts as well. Overall fits the theme pretty nice. The atmosphere was surprisingly tense for a cute little 2D game. Great job.

Downstairs by Sn4pi 2025-04-08T12:24:25Z

I loved the atmosphere in this game, really unsettling and the controls added a nice amount of tension without feeling too frustrating. One minor complaint, esc key closing the application killed me, i was pretty deep into a run and hit the key out of habit to pause, and it totally ruined the run. The up key on the jump was also a bit cruel, caught me out a few times, but it did add to the tension. Art and audio were great, overall very nice game.

Bedrock Rush by superjai 2025-04-08T06:08:38Z

Really well polished game, the music was awesome, really added to the fun. Great graphics and fun gameplay. Had a bug where i got locked into a section of track that was too low and kept going out of bounds. Overall a great entry.

Archeologic by auxC 2025-04-08T09:15:11Z

A really cute game with great art style, atmosphere and audio. Unfortunately let down by some frustrating game design. Overall i think the concept is a fun take on some of the ideas. However i was constantly having visual issues not being able to see what I was doing and select blocks. I wish that the camera had stayed centred on my character and there was a different sort of visual que to show you were about to run out of time. Maybe something crushing blocks above? Very satisfying getting the bombs and hitting a good combo. Overall a good entry on a bunch of different fronts.

Deep space journey by Gaspar 2025-04-10T09:02:20Z

Very simple game, would love to see the basic premise expanded upon in some small ways to give more weight to the gameplay. The story absolutely captured an interesting atmosphere that fit well with the theme, I think expanding upon the interactions in the room would have been a chance for more story telling elements. As a solo dev well done.

The Cleaner of the depth by Egor Iv 2025-04-08T12:35:32Z

Beautiful presentation, very polished with the art, audio, camera work etc. Gameplay could use some clarification as to why i was being eaten, but everything else is amazing, I could picture a minimalistic puzzle game using this style.

Riches From Below by negdo 2025-04-08T00:52:55Z

Awesome entry! The visuals are great, really nice aesthetic, very dredge like vibes. Really fun take on the theme. All the little details are really well made, like how each diver jumps out the boat. Great clean UI really nice to see. Hilarious you can actually kill the divers, didn't expect it the first time around and gave me a good chuckle, the hull 'thunk' is both satisfying and hilarious. Searching for treasure with the divers is really clever, a fun balance of trying to drop off as many as possible while also keeping them all alive. Overall a really great job.

Depths Of Terror by Dan Davis 2025-04-08T04:32:24Z

Nice arcade shooter would be great with a few more enemy types, great work overall.

Mr. Money's Phenomenally Soggy Water Removal Romp by Rhoka 2025-04-09T13:16:19Z

Such a great game! I loved the use of the theme mixed in with a cozy idle game with some fun exploration and humour. You solved all the issues i had early on with the movement feeling slow, and the roller skates/board felt great to zoom around on. Minor graphical glitch with the item i was holding flashing in and out, but game jams hey. Super solid entry.

angler by FrauKauz 2025-04-07T12:49:09Z

Nice work, very solid effort for 12 hours! Love the rustic art style. Gameplay felt like it could have been a tiny bit more engaging, but overall good entry.

Shattered Depths by Sharky3188 2025-04-08T01:45:08Z

@ssiannas Thanks for playing. That's a bugger, I had that bug once when playing then couldn't re-pro it. Unfortunate you ran into it. I sort of wanted a tiny bit of the confusing orientation to add to the horror aspect, but was subtly trying to direct players with the lights, i was concerned it might be an issue, thanks for the feedback.

Dyamid by leorean 2025-04-10T10:32:34Z

Great game design, some really fun puzzles from a simple but unique mechanic. Graphics and audio are also on point, great work.

Home Deep Home by YogurtTheHorse 2025-04-10T10:11:49Z

Beautiful, art, audio and atmosphere. I saw some comments about scope creep and i can see how that may have happened. Overall the game has a huge amount of potential, just a few UX issues i think would be great to clear up. Overall though i think its still a great entry and i played longer than i expected to.

Cheese is the Reason by AXLplosion 2025-04-08T09:40:22Z

Fantastic entry! wow, so much art, super impressive you got so much done, it really gave the whole game a sense of polish that I didn't expect to see. Voice acting was 10/10, some great humour. All the camera angles felt really cinematic and complemented all the environments. The movement felt really clean and intuitive to use. If I had any sort of feedback it would just be more gameplay, but for what you did it was great.

Dig in, Gus! by bigwhiteshogun 2025-04-10T06:40:05Z

Lovely entry, both fun and chill, really satisfying digging your way around, the character controls really nice for this kind of game. The animation on the grapple feels great, props to your artists. I could easily see this expanded upon adding upgrades etc. Great work.

Well Gnome! by Delunado 2025-04-09T14:32:29Z

Great game, super fun and entertaining.

Burrilka by echerry 2025-04-10T07:36:19Z

The atmosphere is so good! The audio is done so well, i'd love to know how you did the voice radio effect? It adds so much. Love the art, super polished and well made, amazing entry.

Burrilka by echerry 2025-04-10T09:05:27Z

@dismox Thank you for the breakdown, I'd love to explore doing something similar myself in a future jam, it's such a good way to make the game feel more interesting and polished. You guys nailed it.

Blip by osh.studio 2025-04-10T12:26:23Z

Really fun game, great movement and unique mechanics. Its great to try and master the controls and get faster. Great entry.

Hooky Fish by DurkaGames 2025-04-11T11:24:21Z

Pretty simple, but well executed. I liked the water boosting sections, added a nice element of skill factor to the game which I didn't expect to see. I liked the progression of picking up new things from the ocean as you played. Perhaps a bit more feedback on the UI would be nice, but overall great work.

Pogo Dwarf by NTMalichi 2025-04-09T11:53:01Z

Great entry, surprisingly fun, i thought the controls would make me feel more angry, but they weren't too bad to control. Some lack of checkpoints definitely got me raging, but overall great entry.

Sinking Hope by NuiN 2025-04-10T09:51:04Z

Good atmosphere, i really liked the feeling of throwing the trident and swimming around. I wish the radar/compass was a little bit easier to use, but overall a good entry.

Ball Pit by Tkap1 2025-04-08T04:20:20Z

I really like the dash mechanic, adds to the speed run feeling of the game. It would have been good if the keys controlled the ball and the mouse controls the aim to avoid awkward steering. Save points are nice so glad you added them. Good job.

The Deepest Descent by ssiannas 2025-04-07T13:11:46Z

Love that intro cutscene! Overall pretty good game, my only complaint would be, I wish the character wasn't at the top of the frame, maybe more one third off from the top. Overall good audio, art and gameplay.

A Very Deep Tunnel by Sicosiber 2025-04-07T14:20:52Z

I love the way the music grows more and more each stage you get to, a really great touch. Each new level reveal feels very satisfying with the light and audio. Good take for the theme. My only criticism is i think the collection could be something other than bees. Overall though great entry, spent longer on this than i expected i would.

into the forest depths by Fliegen 2025-04-08T08:55:11Z

Love how the post man just rocks up with a knife covered with blood and offers people a package. Great entry! The atmosphere and world building are excellent. There's a hint of humour thrown in and some fun mechanics which I feel more games should look into doing. Had a minor bug with the grandmas who body going missing after 1 hit, but not a major issue. Would have loved this with some audio i feel like it would have elevated the whole thing. Art looked beautiful, love all the creature designs. Really good job.

Depth of your Thoughts by mauzart 2025-04-07T13:07:14Z

Great work on your first 3D entry. I noticed a bug where you can spam jump and enable yourself to fly :D. Otherwise the atmosphere was good, I wish I could understand the text as it felt like I was missing out on a lot of engaging parts of the game (maybe add translations in the future?). Music fit in well, and the theme felt decent.

Cave Escape by Flinge 2025-04-09T11:47:59Z

Great game, really fun to replay over and over. Great to try and beat that high score and a lot of fun chaining multiple good jumps together. Great entry.

The Investigator by ImmortalFox 2025-04-07T12:58:55Z

I like the overall feeling of the game, I think its mainly lacking some user feedback. I often wasn't sure if I was clicking on the right things. So having some sort of highlight/animation/etc on the areas you can interact with would help. I think it could have gone a bit further of the depth theme, but overall great job.

Froggy Towers by LordSheo 2025-04-08T01:45:44Z

Great entry, changed my life. Theme 1 star.

HellDigger – A Cozy Idle Game by sangheli 2025-04-08T01:22:38Z

Decent little idle game, the art makes it pretty fun to see what's deeper. A little slow at the start and i wish there were more options than just giving 100 workers, maybe a 10 or 100 add? It would be nice if there were some kind of thing i could do while idle, maybe a clicker or something, but overall good job.

Mecha-Mice: Expedition by Ferit 2025-04-08T08:42:11Z

A fun take on the theme with robotic mice. Overall the gameplay was a bit rough around the edges, i think with some polish it would be really fun. I really enjoyed building an army of mice, however i was never really sure when or why they would explore or get converted. Maybe some more tutorialisation would help. The rocks are devastating, didnt pay attention for 2 seconds and my whole mouse army was gone :(. Great visuals and atmosphere.

The Depths, A Floppy Cat Adventure by KataStudios 2025-04-08T07:09:03Z

Controls felt pretty wild to me, i sort of felt like i wasn't really in full control, took a while to get used to. Feels pretty unique, a lot to explore. Didn't get heaps far as my sub kept exploding, which was an unexpected cool part of the game.

Debts in the Depths by Reaktori 2025-04-08T11:53:59Z

Wow such an impressive game, i don't know how you managed to fit all that in within 48 hours, insanity! Looks and plays amazing, the sprites are really well designed and animated. Both impressive that it looks so polished and it's super fun to play. Amazing entry.

LD58 — Collector

Cut to Pieces by Sheepolution 2025-10-23T01:09:50Z

Another amazing entry! Really impressive with all the cut scenes and overall art you managed to fit in with the time frame. The humour was absolutely spot on. Love the idea, paired that with the humour its a really awesome entry. Maybe having a faster way to skip through after failing would be nice, it felt like some of the cut scenes I couldn't skip over very fast.

Keeper of Artifacts by ping78 2025-10-13T22:59:29Z

This is a pretty fun entry, it would be great with a bit more overall feedback, audio, maybe a small tutorial and a general goal that I'm working towards. However it feels like quiet a solid game loop already established which you could easily work on improving further. For a solo project this is very impressive, great work.

Tiny Expeditions by bwalter 2025-10-07T03:57:45Z

Really nice chill game, especially just after finishing the jam. Super chill and relaxed. The world looks great for the simple art style, and i appreciated the swimming mechanic + audio. Maybe a bit more feedback on collecting would be nice, also being able to see what you have mid collection would be good. Great work for a solo entry.

Happy Cleaning Co. by auxC 2025-10-07T07:32:36Z

Really tight mechanics and good game feel. I like the incentive to get through to each level to hear the funny dialogue snippets from each character. Some of the puzzles got a little bit tedious by the end, but a solid game that works well to the theme. Great entry.

Floralchemists by Sarah 2025-10-23T07:05:18Z

Cute little game, very nice getting the potion combinations going. I did sometimes feel a little lost after having a few elements on screen and nothing felt like it was clicking. I wasn't sure where i was going wrong. Overall i probably just needed to experiment a bit more.

Broke Custodian: From Dust Till Display by outstar 2025-10-07T08:44:45Z

I really like the visual style of this game and the overall mechanics, i did feel quiet confused at times as to what i was meant to do. Maybe a bit more of a tutorial or feedback would help with that. The event popups and digging were a really nice addition to make the game feel more interesting.

Do Not The Mushroom! by Rionisse 2025-10-07T05:51:23Z

I really enjoyed trying to find all the different mushrooms and seeing what kind of effects they would have on the character. Visually it looks quiet interesting, but i found it's quiet visually busy so its really hard to focus on one particular area of the game, and makes it easy to get a bit disorientated. There were a few performance issues with it being quiet laggy. I wasn't sure if there was a progress meter on how much i more i had to deposit. That could be made a bit more clear. Fun concept and an enjoyable experience.

Holo Friends by ColeSlaughter 2025-10-10T13:50:23Z

Really great game! Love all the artwork and audio. The overall polish is really solid. Super strong work on incorporating the theme so well into a really fun game idea.

Could I ask how you guys managed to do the pre and post jam update screen on your itch page? Really cool you can do that, i didn't know you could.

Holo Friends by ColeSlaughter 2025-10-11T01:15:42Z

@coleslaughter, @badcop, thanks so much. Looks great!

Dragon Hoard by pres2300 2025-10-07T07:37:06Z

Great work on the compo, i love the theming behind the dragon protecting his treasure. Its quiet fun with the way the physics of the balls gets you to have to think about how you're navigating the space. Would be awesome with an upgrade to the fireballs or something similar. Good stuff!

Halloween Knight by Artur Hawkwing 2025-10-20T12:10:50Z

Great visual style. Some of the controls felt a little bit floaty in some sections. I feel like the standard jump could have been a bit higher by default. The boss fight was a nice addition, however it was a bit easy to cheese by just standing on the hands and never moving again. Overall great job.

Opa is de Koning by Re-Markable 2025-10-07T06:31:48Z

Really lovely game with a lot of heart. I loved the feeling of cutting down the plants. Especially the daisy and the smally little particles it leaves behind, really great feedback on that. The voice acting was a nice touch and really made the game feel worth collecting everything. I especially enjoyed the mechanics with the match and bee hive as a small puzzle to solve. Great entry!

Siege Crawler by Sharky3188 2025-10-10T00:21:42Z

@sohei Thank you for the kind words. There is a way to win, but unfortunately the design was done at 6am on the last day and it isn't well balanced. I believe you need to rush the end goal much earlier. I hope to do a post jam balance patch. The rifle was a stretch goal we unfortunately didn't get in, another potential post jam patch. Thanks for playing :)

Siege Crawler by Sharky3188 2025-10-21T00:04:54Z

@someone thanks for playing and giving some really valuable feedback. -The turret upgrades increase their fire rate and aim speed and give them a small health increase. Both strategies are viable, but I think upgraded turrets might be better.

-The upgrades on the side add new grinders onto the the front of the crawler so you can auto collect resources faster. In the post jam version we added new upgrades with UI on those terminals.

-The rifle is a post jam addition you can purchase and switch between (mainly got the info on here since we don't have any in-game popups).

-At the top terminal where you deposit 500 credits, it also adds a minor repair of around 500hp the crawler has 10,000 total.

-Post jam version has the power meter on the main HUD.

We definitely would like to do a big UX pass over the game to really help clarify some of these areas, a starting tutorial would certainly help.

Where's my money, Gnomski?!? by CaptainCorgistan 2025-10-07T10:23:57Z

Really loved the atmosphere in this. Fantastic work having all the different gnome variations, its incredible how you have so many combinations. I did find the game somewhat frustrating after a while, i wish that there was more of a general indication of where they might be. I found myself just wondering around for ages looking for one gnome constantly re-visiting locations to double check I didn't miss them. Maybe a secondary gameplay could have been a way to give more clues to their location. Overall a good take on the theme.

Spore Scout by Trusty 2025-10-13T23:24:22Z

The game feels like it has a lot of stuff to discover just through the voice lines. It made me want to continue playing to hear all the lines. The game has a lot of personality. The qte sequences are a way to add some interest to the game, however it would be nice if they started a bit faster so I don't have to wait as long after failing one. I think maybe you could ease up on the smooth modifiers on your meshes and maybe cut down on the poly density of the mushrooms for such a small object on screen. I'd try and use other shaders to avoid the overly plastic look, or make sure to adjust the specular values as i think with a few small changes like that you could get quiet a nice looking visual style. Overall a fun entry into the jam.

Rune Rangers by Taximan981 2025-10-08T10:22:32Z

Great work on the jam. Its a really interesting take on the theme with the puzzles placement being a really unique way to represent the combat. The spinning thing on the game board is very distracting and feels like unnecessary clutter. The creature designs are really nicely done, and makes the whole experience more fun capturing them. The lore descriptions are also pretty fun. I feel like the the UI could have a bit more overall visual polish. Overall a fun game and a great entry.

Greg gathers ghosts because that's what he loves the most by Blue Pin Studio 2025-10-09T06:58:03Z

Really creative idea. Hard not to just want to stick to the centre sometimes. Great sound track and graphics to pair up.

The Raven Job by MeowMeowLitClub 2025-10-07T06:43:25Z

The art and music are really standout here, the whole thing has a lot of character. It would be nice if there was a touch more feedback on some of the interactions. Would love a meta game with the items you steal. Really nice UI work.

Keklik by Rogaven 2025-10-07T09:48:50Z

Great work on your first completed jam! The game is really cute and has a lot of personality to it. I really like all the art and animations included.

Can you give me a hand gesture? by She Wrote 2025-10-14T01:14:13Z

Really clever game idea. It would be interesting to see how you could expand upon this idea, or even incorporate this into another game around this being some sort of mini game. Would be nice with a bit more audio, but impressive none the less.

Cornscripted by Chromaful 2025-10-07T06:15:11Z

Really enjoyed the progression and the way the game turned into a bit of a puzzle by maximising where you should be running your harvester. It would be nice to be able to more easily see how much your got from each run. Overall i really enjoyed the discission making aspect of the game. Great entry!

Call Hector by Pikario 2025-10-23T02:05:39Z

Great puzzle game! Really fun trying to solve this with all the subtle hints. The longer i went around and looked at things the more i discovered. The elements like the screwdriver are really fun to give you that big sense of progress. I like the way the game puts most things in front of you, you just need to slow down and pay attention instead of trying to solve the exact task you just unlocked through brute force. Very much appreciated that you had the clues available which gave me more determination not to look at them, but provided me with an answer if I needed. Really solid entry.

Fartnite by osh.studio 2025-10-07T08:50:52Z

Actually getting some of the momentum going felt quiet fun. I could see this being entertaining to try and speed run this and perfect your time.

For the Herd! by Mascoll 2025-10-08T22:32:36Z

A great take on the theme, very much appreciate the fact that the sheep gather to the centre once they hit the circle. Great atmosphere.

Slay 'n' Squeeze by Senso 2025-10-07T11:39:07Z

I just got hooked on played this for ages! Really satisfying getting the upgrades and making the whole process more efficient each time. I do wish the rockets would trigger other rockets etc for chain effects. Great feed back and game feel well done!

Debt Chaser by dismox 2025-10-07T10:03:03Z

Great atmosphere! I really love the way the car starts filling up with all the trinkets from conversations with people. Would have loved to see where it went.

Goblin Goopmaxxing by NuiN 2025-10-21T01:25:37Z

Really creative take on the theme, so fun to see what kind of weird and whacky combinations you can make. I would have loved to see some multi potion mixing to really add some fun experimenting to the whole process. I'd be curious to see where you expand on the concept for your steam release.

Claim thy Land by ranejeb 2025-10-07T10:42:43Z

Really solid game entry! I found myself feeling quiet invested in each battle outcome, i was quiet surprised at how well it played. I love all the ways the strategies can play out. I do wish that you could reset a round, instead of starting over. The general visuals and audio feel really good. Really great entry.

Prairie Dog Music Collector by runningopenloop 2025-10-07T07:42:52Z

Yipppeee! Some strange camera stuff going on, but had a nice sense of speed about it. Great work from your kids.

Trip to the Teeth by Braulio_JG 2025-10-14T01:26:54Z

A cute little game that with some polish would really shine even further. Great effort.

Caw-llector by BananaguyLuke 2025-10-07T08:21:58Z

Cant play, I'm getting: "WARNING: This Page Has Been Quarantined" on itch.

The Internet Collector by YibiRabbit007 2025-10-07T04:22:36Z

Unfortunately on ultra wide monitors the top of the screen gets cut off in full screen. Game looks great, not sure if the buttons are meant to be in another language? Got a bit confused as to what im doing. Overall the art looks great, love the feedback on everything.

SAVE MY KNEES! by Keys Presser 2025-10-10T14:00:30Z

Great little game, the animation of the bird getting wet is so good! Really fun game with a lot of personality.

Drunkink by voidsrc 2025-10-08T11:41:04Z

Really clever take on the theme. Love all the diegetic UI its a really nice touch, while it did take me a while to figure out the cigarette was the timer, i love that detail. The audio was great, really chill. The addition of the upgrades each round is a really nice way to make me want to keep engaging with the game. Really solid entry!

Steal the Panties by Indiealesha 2025-10-07T09:40:33Z

Wow some of those are very gag worthy! Hilarious art none the less. Impressive work with all the variations. Would be nice to make the hook "sink" faster.

Lafufu Collector by WormKingBoo 2025-10-07T04:07:57Z

That song is doing work! Hilarious take on the theme, great to see all the feedback on the lafufus and the kind of fever dream i felt like i was part of. Maybe some more arrow inputs would be fun like holding etc (unless that came later?).

Chicken Debt Master by MJ12 2025-10-07T07:54:31Z

Surprisingly fun game, there was more strategy involved than i expected there to be. The upgrades are a nice touch and all the dialogue popups were pretty hilarious.

Goblin Lord's Dream by Ira Baciu 2025-10-09T03:50:06Z

Great having so many little mini games all together. the third was very difficult and while the slow Mo was great, it felt like the laser was too fast to even use it properly. Great art style, audio and overall presentation. Great work.

The Skitter Kit by surfacedfox 2025-10-07T08:28:53Z

Love the visual style of this, so clean and fun. Generally great atmosphere and vibe. The cat felt fine control in the first room, but there seems to be some iffy camera controller stuff going on, it definitely made it a lot harder to enjoy. Overall though a cute entry.

Drone Collector by kkritikov 2025-10-17T00:51:24Z

Fun game, good to try and see how long i could last. Maybe some more feedback on what the upgrades are would be nice.

LD59 — Signal

Operation Alien Translation by Sheepolution 2026-04-21T02:51:27Z

All the humour and animation is on point. That starting intro really sets the tone. Art is incredible as usual. A really fun concept.

💥Boom Rail🚂 by Dingbat 2026-04-20T14:44:17Z

This is a really cool compo entry. I love the feeling it gives off, going on this random adventure, fun to see a different take on trains and signals :D. I would have loved a bit more feedback on the hits on the enemy, and it felt a little tedious with spam clicking the rifle, so maybe less hits to kill? Overall though, really solid entry.

Lock by mahalis 2026-04-24T13:52:43Z

A fun puzzle game, really simple concept, but executed well. The visuals all look nice for the purpose of the game, I could imagine this being added as mini game for some sort of cyber hacking game. Great work.

Aurora 4: Prelude by ghost-in-the-toast 2026-04-26T10:32:22Z

Those music tracks were pumping! fit the whole aesthetic really well. Overall pretty fun and tight gameplay. All the upgrades i saw felt really nice and juicy, the mini gun was great, i also really like the addition of the ammo counter and customising each side. I'm not sure if there were additional checkpoints later on, but it would have been nice to restart closer to where i died. Great entry.

TellyBuddy by ColeSlaughter 2026-04-21T02:40:07Z

Really great feeling the responsiveness of the TellyBuddy. The videos are on point, amazing work recording those. I did get stuck quiet a few times, and just had to spam click a lot to get through, I'm not sure if I got to the end or not. Great humour and well polished.

Late For Work by ScrapMetal 2026-04-24T15:13:28Z

It would be nice if the camera wasn't quiet as erratic as it was, slowing it down by half would probably feel much nicer. The car controlled pretty well for the most part, its a shame you didn't get more game in, because i think as a package this could have felt quiet nice. Audio and visuals were nicely polished. Great to see you making an attempt at 3d, best of luck on the next jam!

Licence to Fine by IndigoWolf 2026-04-20T14:03:28Z

Great compo entry! I really like the way you handled the mixed combination of the driving and the signal finding. The car controls were a little bit tricky to navigate, but overall a really great entry.

Rail Rush by Sharky3188 2026-04-21T00:58:58Z

@pimeko that's strange there should be music and sfx in the game. You should be able to click on the blue buildings to get a new train, but maybe something broke if the sfx weren't playing.

Rail Rush by Sharky3188 2026-04-23T01:32:15Z

@tkap1 Fun watch the stream, haha looked like you didn't have the best time, but thanks for the feedback. Definitely some balance issues. I probably was going for a mix of idle game, with a bit of the stress of managing the signals and more risk reward kind of thing. I think I completely cooked the balance on the train collision cost which kind of makes the game pretty un-fun early on if you mess up. Thanks again for playing.

Avalanche by JulienLussiez 2026-04-21T13:00:47Z

A cute game concept, with a really nice atmosphere. Even though there wasn't a time pressure, i still felt like i was really there to rescue those other guys. Controls felt a little bit stiff, but otherwise really solid entry.

My Magic Attack Power is 9999 but I can only use Massive AOE spells! by Taximan981 2026-04-20T14:49:12Z

A really fun take on the theme. I would have love to seen this expanded out more than just a memory game. The concept of getting the quests and casting spell felt like a pretty solid game loop. The AO spells also felt pretty good, especially some of the SFX. It could be cool to expand the concept, if you could find a way to discover new spells gradually and grow your book with the ones you need. Some of the feedback was a little bit confusing, and some timers felt very short, especially early on. Overall really interesting idea for the theme. Also excellent game title.

Dragonia Siege by Euler Moises 2026-04-26T07:59:43Z

Fun seeing the return to the retro style game. Very simplistic game but when you start figuring it out, its very satisfying. It did feel a bit difficult figuring out some of the clues, hard to know in a jam if i need to just discover more clues or that's all the content there is. The multiple endings made it feel worth while checking out what was possible.

Hooked by echerry 2026-04-23T12:05:08Z

Incredible game, best jam game so far. The visuals were stunning and it completely locked me into the whole atmosphere of the game. I loved the setting, it felt so rich with detail. The characters were great, and the overall game play got me playing for quiet a while. It was very satisfying getting those combos when you got back into the port. The extraction timer was also a really nice choice, it just added an extra layer of tension that really make you think carefully about how you timed everything. The audio was fantastic, it completed the whole package, the little mouse/squeak noises really added an endearing and tragic element.

I think the weakest element of the jam was the relation to the theme, it would have been nice to see a slightly stronger tie in. Overall another exception LD game

Broken Jukebox by Pimeko 2026-04-21T13:15:46Z

This was a fun take on the theme, simple, but kept me entertained i just wanted to get to the next song each time it changed. Love the little dance animation everyone does.

Desktop Jar by ranejeb 2026-04-20T14:32:30Z

Well ive had to change my rating serval times to make sure i get as many keys as possible. Plus i really need to make this review extra long, so i can get as many keys as possible, maybe i just need to keep talking about random stuff to fill this jar up even more? It seems to be working pretty well.

Overall a really fun idea, its great seeing the mix of 2d and 3d elements working together to create a pretty entertaining passive game. The theme maybe feels like it could be stronger, but overall really innovative.

Tipsy Tower by Timo5034 2026-04-21T13:18:52Z

Cool physics demo, would have been great seeing just a tiny bit more of a game, eg something like build X high to make a signal tower with one or 2 more block types.

Signal Slasher by Tkap1 2026-04-23T09:55:50Z

So i played through up until like the 5th or 6th mission and was like this is too hard and RQ, then saw people mention that you could attack, so i went back and wow the game became so much easier. The fact that all the other functionality had a form of tutorial really threw me off.

Overall a fun concept, i feel like there could have been more done with the signal concept, and potentially tied in some sort of audio que/music beat to make it feel a bit more engaging.

It would have been cool if the enemies moved on the signal as well, so there was a little bit more puzzle solving, i mainly just stood there and spammed my sword. Some nice sfx, moments where you collect a bunch of the orbs were really satisfying.

WJDD AM After Dark by jddoesdev 2026-04-21T00:39:40Z

A fun take on the theme, great to hear all the audio you recorded, it's a really nice touch. All the callers add a really nice element to the game. I would have loved to see more of a fail state? I couldn't quiet tell if there was one or not? or even a day counter where you get paid by the sponsors but you also have fans that listen? Something like that could have made it quiet a balance between playing ads vs music etc. Overall though a great entry.

Radiotower by Custodi 2026-04-24T15:29:49Z

Very hectic game with going between mouse and keyboard, but an interesting take on the theme. I really liked the way the radio signals changed up and pushed back against the radio waves. The upgrades were a nice goal to work towards. I feel like more humour could have been potentially added into the phone calls, like a funny text message with one word highlighted. Fun take on the theme good job.

Gasp Away! by Emsea 2026-04-23T10:53:45Z

A really great take on the theme and really interesting to see your interpretation of it. At first the concept took me a little bit to figure out how it worked, but on a second play through i seemed to pick it up much better. I wasn't quiet sure what the perfect breath was doing and needed to check here, so maybe a touch more feedback in game would help. Graphics and audio feedback were quiet nice.

Look, I Made A Thing by duckmaniac 2026-04-21T13:57:50Z

This was a great game, I knew it was the cows all along! Loved the take on the theme, and it felt really fun. The economy scaled up very fast, but it was a nice addition. I wish the tractor controlled a little bit better just from a gameplay perspective, but other than those things the game was a great experience.

Almost the Same by NNMBZR 2026-04-30T01:07:04Z

Incredible what some people can achieve in a jam, this looks amazing! and the characters feel so natural. Really fun concept. Some issues with some people submitting very basic sketches, but overall that's hard to avoid. The camera moving around did sometimes feel a bit annoying trying to keep it steady for drawing, but not too big of a deal. Fantastic entry.

Signal Keeper by IndiePanda 2026-04-24T13:20:38Z

Congrats on the first jam, very well done for a first time. Overall a bit more music would have been nice. The first task of finding the signal did get a little bit repetitive, but overall they were still fun enough to engage with. Some character dialogue would really be a way to make this shine, giving the character a bit of personality. The art style works well and and panel ui looks really good.

Zap the Dead by Stepanoff 2026-04-24T14:09:23Z

Great entry. I really like your take on the theme, a bit of an action puzzle game. Took me a little while to understand the concept, but once I did, it became quiet fun trying to rush through to the later sections with the optimal route.

Wasted Signals by Jordan The Human 2026-04-21T12:47:40Z

Really simple, but told a fun story of survival and choice. I was a lot more engaged in this than i expected. Really great job. Would have loved to see a tiny bit more polish on the art side to increase the atmosphere, but otherwise really solid.

Small Among Storms by ShanzPro 2026-04-21T04:48:54Z

Beautiful style, the game looks fantastic. The main character is really great, and the environment feels really rich and well polished. I wish some of the platforms were slightly larger to make it easier to jump, also i feel like the bird timer could be slightly shorter. Great entry.

Treasures Below by HollowsEdge 2026-04-23T10:45:04Z

Cool take on the theme, nice to see a game with that really front and centre. Really fun to scan out the environment.

I would have loved if I could have had more than 1 scan, just so it would feel satisfying scanning out more of a room, and it could have helped a bit more with navigation. The enemy was probably more annoying than not, so I ended up switching to peaceful mode. I would love to see how you could expand the concept a bit further maybe scanner upgrades, or traps for the enemies.

Glarble's Journey to Home-Ownership by Laura-Swift 2026-04-21T01:22:26Z

Really nicely polished game. I love all the interactions you get on clicking on everything around the scene. I didn't quiet understand the cow mechanic, maybe that part could be a bit more clear. Some fun humour and overall a really nice vibe. Great job.
