LD39 — Running out of Power

HackOS by stevenjmiller 2017-07-31T16:39:55Z

I felt really bad about trying to corrupt family photos! This is a really nice puzzle game. It's challenging and has sweet mechanics :) I like the music a lot and just the whole game. Great job on everything!

Energy Juice by TheSand 2017-07-31T12:35:31Z

The music scared me! It was much louder than I expected haha! The premise of your game is great but pro mode is savage, I fat-finger it too much :(

Run To Coal! by smdeveloper 2017-08-04T02:49:53Z

It's an interesting concept, but I had a hard time delivering coal more than a few times before losing because I just couldn't move faster, and I kept having problems with jumping and getting stuck between the cars. Overall, not bad though!

Computer Crisis by PixelFormedStudios 2017-07-31T15:36:26Z

Cut to pong... BACK TO WORK... :( The end was so stressful haha! Great game, it's very lively. I liked the style a lot, well done :)

Drone Supervisor by Jimbly 2017-08-11T14:20:25Z

This was fun, I love these kinds of games <3 The tutorial was really nice, it flowed well and didn't seem to over the top. I always just needed more power though :P Just a few more moves... Overall, great job :D

The Hard Life of Egg Robots by Noxalus 2017-08-02T15:16:00Z

If you just stay where you start, you can kill enemies, collect batteries and not run out of power :P The game itself looks polished and well done :)

I like the music and the art a lot too. Good job everyone!

Battery by BoltKey 2017-07-31T15:58:27Z

I'm curious how long it will take...

Battery Block: Bypass by PietPtr 2017-08-02T14:52:16Z

I agree, python is a lot of overhead to play this, but I already had it :) A bit lacking in content, but good job overall in the short time you used!

Robo Power by jahndis 2017-08-05T04:57:51Z

I like giving commands to the robots, these types of games are really fun :) Good job!

Decaying Card Game by filippy 2017-07-31T15:43:48Z

At first I didn't realize you had to drag the cards to play them. Clicking and not actually dragging it onto the board also degrades the card. Overall it's pretty fun to play, and it would be really cool with more types of cards, like more attacking and defending :) Good job!

Street Vape Spinner Runner by meownsk 2017-08-07T18:03:07Z

I even read the instructions, but still played several times before realizing why I was randomly dying The graphics and mood are hilarious. It was easy to play if you played it right :P Great job!

A Night at Grandpa's by Kingethaniel 2017-08-03T04:44:30Z

You've done a great job making this game creepy... the style, the music. It's late, I'm too scared to leave the first room, I'm not sure I can handle a frightening horror adventure haha :P

Power Trip by notime4games 2017-08-03T04:27:39Z

This game is super cute :) I love the graphics, it's really fun to play too, but it does get a bit repetitive after too long. I agree that sound would have made it just that much nicer! Great job, this is awesome!

Power Stationed by ReboundGames 2017-07-31T13:44:32Z

This was really fun! It's a hectic game but fun to try and keep up with! Although I wasn't able to tell if I was making money from the windmill or not :(

Eat pray live by wrexialmt 2017-08-07T14:30:48Z

This is really fun, I played several times and just as I started thinking "I wish I could grow bigger" it happened :P The art and music go really well together, and overall the game is hilarious, great job!

The Stonemont Chronicles by zedutchgandalf 2017-07-31T16:08:23Z

I got to day 103 because I just kept attacking everyone and then I couldn't stop the others from taking my land to rule over my apparently unhappy people :P

I love Reigns and a few LD's ago I made a game that was also Reigns like :D They're so much fun to make and play, it takes so long to make content and it seems to get repeated SO easily. I understand the struggle haha! Good job, it's fun to play!

Battery boy is running out of juice ! by Batheo3000 2017-08-07T18:37:44Z

Definitely cute graphics, they get the job done! The game play is interesting and I love how the battery boy changes in relation to his power level. Good job overall!

I NEED POWER by pauljs 2017-08-03T04:49:31Z

I really liked the music, good idea using Google!

sunset by peterfsat 2017-07-31T12:37:51Z

I can't seem to get past the black screen, nothing I do makes it go away? How do I actually play ? :(

ABANDON SHIP by attrition 2017-08-03T05:24:42Z

Pretty fun game, and great music! But I find it so stressful haha, I can't play these kinds of games for long, the music really got into my soul :P

I felt so bad killing the crew at first, then I just remembered to reset before they died :D

Metal Behemoth by spliter 2017-08-04T02:46:12Z

The movement is too slow but I also had some problems rolling, sometimes the robot would move forward the distance and then roll on the spot rather than rolling and moving. But overall, not bad!

Power Tripping: Keeping It Cool by Sarah 2017-08-03T06:17:33Z

Thanks for playing everyone! Who knew fridges had it so rough eh?

The ranks go as high as A+ :) but there are a lot of equivalent ranks to A+ [Chill Fridge, Fridgidair, Great Chiller, Max Chill, Epic Chill Master, Chill Blaster] for those interested :P

@madalaski - I definitely had that on my list, and I did have a check mark [somehow disappeared] but I had to scratch it in the final hours to make music instead! So cooled and spoiled effects just didn't make it :(

@dioinecail - I tried different methods of cooling actually. I tried swiping and clicking/holding but neither just seemed to give that urgency that I was looking for haha!

@samhunny - the food starting temperature and spoilage rate are all generated randomly :)

@balthatrix - You lose when you either run out of power, or spoil 10 foods.

@pixel-game-wizard - A tutorial was another thing I wanted to make but ran out of time for, and it's really not easy to explain the entire game in a few written lines haha. In the last few hours I had to stop myself because I knew I was out of time haha :P

All things considered, I ran out of time to get more in depth with the cooling mechanics and the power tripping, but I might[probably will] get bored and want to work on it again :)

All Systems Online by stormforce02 2017-08-03T04:40:54Z

It's really fun building ships. This is a great idea, good job making it work :) The battles were fun but I just kept getting destroyed :(

Game of Cows by greysphere 2017-08-03T05:19:47Z

Really cool game, I love games where I can grow things! I fail at it irl but I fail slightly less with digital plants :P Great job :)

Don't Let the Light Go Out by BeamKirby 2017-08-04T02:43:42Z

This game looks really nice, I also really like all the particles and effects! The hovering mechanics is interesting, otherwise it's pretty standard, but great job!

solar avenue by wareification 2017-08-03T05:35:19Z

Super fun, I really like the graphics too. Really good job on making this over the weekend, some of the corners were a bit rough to get around, but overall it was great zooming around haha :P

Lucis by Kristian David 2017-07-31T13:10:26Z

Cool concept, but its difficult :P I just couldn't get away from the light bulbs without using all my power! Overall good job :)

lit by M-1 2017-08-02T15:12:27Z

It has a nice style, some relaxing music in the background and this game would be pretty sweet :) It's really easy, but I still like it.

I love procedurally built levels, they're really fun! Good job!

PoweRL by Steve Johnson 2017-08-03T05:00:48Z

I don't have a mac so I checked out your source instead haha, but your pixel art is very nice :)

BatteryPackMan by junjunlowpoly 2017-08-03T05:05:24Z

I really like your concept of keeping the units powered, really cool :) its really fun and the art is nice! Good job!

I did notice that sometimes my clicking didn't seem to register on the units to charge them, but clicking around always worked :)

Gradient Descent by Zelos 2017-08-03T05:56:34Z

This is one of my favourite games so far. It's really relaxing to play, I found myself collecting the orbs way more than I actually needed to haha. There's not a lot going on, but I really liked it, and the music and art style really went well together and made the game something enjoyable :)

It took me a while to figure out that you could even go to the next screen, but after several screens I noticed the counter in the top left corner :P

No Sorcerer's Sky by TheFlyingKeyboard 2017-08-07T18:07:10Z

I wasn't able to close the UI unless I was able to buy the item [which was never since I clicked the UI immediately]. It seems there should be an X or something to close the menu, but that wasn't there so I was only able to go back to the main menu. Which basically made the game unplayable for me :(

Short Lived by Matt Fabius 2017-08-07T18:24:40Z

I like how to showed the controls for the first bit of movement. Great idea for a tiny built-in tutorial :) It's a bit difficult, and you can keep jumping just by holding the button down.

I also had a weird glitch where I was holding the jump button and I got stuck on the ceiling until I let go! But maybe it's just a cool feature I missed reading about :P

Dim Wit by benbennett 2017-08-04T02:52:50Z

It's way more fun to use the num key than a mouse! Definitely an addicting game and it makes you want to try one more time and get just a little further! Great job :)

Power or die by Aterlamia 2017-07-31T17:44:05Z

I really liked how the map grew as you expanded the buildings. A little more information about what each building was would have been useful. And maybe highlighting the spaces on the grid that each building is allowed to be placed on :) Good job overall!

Pylon Defense by Doc ill 2017-08-03T05:08:51Z

Recharging the towers was interesting, but I had a lot of trouble placing them, money was being spent but they weren't showing up. I did manage to build two. But it would be really useful to have some kind of grid highlighting to show where/what you're placing! Still a decent game :)

Dark Lab Escape by sgstair 2017-08-03T04:56:28Z

Really cool concept and a lot of fun to play :) I like being able to move it around as its going, it helps to reposition as you get closer to the target. I left the scientist huddled in the dark corner :(.. oops :P

Powerpanel by Crckbaerchen 2017-07-31T12:19:42Z

Some way to reset in game would be really helpful for playing multiple rounds :) For a first game, it's not bad! Good job!

Power Hog by Kashif 2017-08-07T18:11:10Z

The concept is great, and pretty fun to manage. I definitely didn't realize you could hold space for work :P Overall it's a nice little game, good job! :)

Empire Building by Mac Dragoness 2017-07-31T12:30:41Z

This game was pretty fun, I like the graphics style :) The only problem I had was sometimes I had a difficult time finding the right place to click in a room to light it up. But otherwise, great job!

Dwarf Power by IndieImpala 2017-08-05T05:13:03Z

This game is really cute, I like the graphics! And while you didn't make the song, it fits the game really well! Overall, well done :)

Ultimate by OnlySimple 2017-07-31T15:27:17Z

I like the style/graphics of your game :) The game over is a bit jarring though, some transition would be nicer, but overall good job for your first time!

The Dying Sun by DemonQueen 2017-08-07T18:32:02Z

I really like the graphics, well done! The game itself is an interesting concept, but I didn't have the time to fully decide for each person so I just winged it. It all worked out, only 10% jerks :P I really liked the breakdown screen at the end and the scoring, that was cool! Great job :)

HockeyGame by Steven Adams 2017-08-04T02:32:13Z

As a hockey player, its pretty fun to play around, but I'm all by myself :) The ball gets moving a little fast sometimes but other than that the whole game experience is there, and overall nice job!

Power Rancher by SeanW 2017-07-31T19:24:31Z

I like the graphics and the style of the game :) I do love these types of games, but it's a bit harder to plan without knowing how far along in the day we are. Otherwise I really liked it, good job!

Stoked by pitpony 2017-07-31T17:38:01Z

It was really cute :) Was there an actual use for stones?

Stoked by pitpony 2017-08-02T15:01:47Z

@pitpony I only ever saw them steal the rocks anyways!! Hahaha

Battery Pack by shashwat 2017-07-31T17:39:56Z

Interesting concept, simple but kinda of difficult :P

Battery Bunny by Sprouts 2017-08-02T15:07:30Z

The bunny is indeed difficult to move around, I just could not get very far at first :P. The hardest part for me was just remembering to stay charged haha!

Broken Shuttle by Nyri0 2017-08-04T02:41:18Z

I liked the pink planets the best :D Overall I really like the concept of this, it's really fun. If there were more levels I would definitely keep playing. Sound and music would have made it that much better :) Good job!

MotherShip by rigdonware 2017-08-02T14:56:33Z

It was pretty fun :) I did have a problem with the screen size though, it was full screen on my monitor and there was a big band of black along the bottom and right side. The UI elements all seemed to be aligned in the center of my monitor though, just not the actual game play!

Trouble in Paradise by mariandev96 2017-07-31T15:31:05Z

I like the ftl style graphics! I killed the crew off each time... space travel is rough :P Nice game!

Batteries Low by GhostRunners25 2017-07-31T12:23:25Z

When I tried to play the windows version I got an error :(

SpaceReturn by Larx 2017-08-04T18:14:15Z

Felt very ftl like in the encounters, but I just wish there was more feedback from the game about what's actually going on. But overall, well done for the time you had :)

iPowerless by Norakio 2017-08-05T16:16:23Z

I would have played again if there was a reset button! Good job :)

Power Defense by Daepso 2017-08-03T05:28:02Z

I really like the free placement of weapons and the way the enemies came directly, good job overall :)

Character Building by Badly Drawn Rod 2017-08-05T16:13:12Z

I like the Reigns like style :) I had a hard time reading the game, but I have bad eyes :P Overall, well done!

Pickup all the power! by acoto87 2017-08-02T15:21:52Z

I like placing the path for him to follow, really cut puzzle game :) Good job!

Space Rescue. My first Jam game by Joskineide 2017-08-07T18:17:14Z

Very cool concept, the only issue I had was getting going reallllly fast. Maybe cap the speed :P The graphics are nice, but pretty blurry in lots of places. Overall, pretty fun and good job!

Last chance to Mars by xMiwah 2017-08-07T14:37:37Z

The gameplay is interesting. Some transitions between the title -> game and the game -> game over, would make things feel a bit more polished.

Dorgus Needs Power! by WillData 2017-08-03T05:31:53Z

It took me a long time to figure out how to regain power haha, its pretty fun good job!

Running out of Human by Wesxdz 2017-07-31T15:23:07Z

It doesn't work :(

TITAN, Defend Earth before it's too late by MichaelTWG 2017-08-03T05:41:27Z

Really cool concept, the art is so cute :) The whole game is really fun, and I love the split screen, it makes the game seem so much more epic!

LD42 — Running out of space

Play Not With Food They Said by axoona 2018-08-26T04:09:32Z

Interesting game, definitely fun to mess around with. The cows sorta got to me in the end :P But I like the overall floaty feel of it, things felt very uppy haha

Memories .inc by maskinmask 2018-08-15T18:16:43Z

This game looks really nice, and is really polished. Once you figure out what's going on (watch that Memory Space bar haha) it's actually pretty fun. I noticed that a memory I had sold was still there after I restarted the game (without closing it), and it wouldn't go away until I reopened the game entirely.

Shrink Bots by Flying Cat of the Pepes 2018-08-26T04:02:07Z

The robot is really cute! I love the way he flies around (: Good job on your entry!

Space Escape by paulhocker 2018-08-16T02:41:36Z

Interesting idea! The match 3 part was really well done, maybe just a bit more feedback on matches/new pieces would be helpful.

I did run into a few bugs with the selection colour of pieces. I tried a few wrong moves and the pieces didn't unhighlight themselves. And then I noticed that I later got one of those staying-highlighted pieces in a match and another piece reappeared that was highlighted :P

Overall good job, the animations look cute in the simulation/top part.

Grid Battle by Sarah 2018-08-15T17:21:50Z

@jegus9 I actually played around with the timing a lot. I based the battle off of end game battles, so they're more intense (and fun) but way quicker; 5 seconds to begin vs 30 seconds. However, I'm realizing now that it might be too difficult at first.

I could possible add a toggle to turn the difficulty down so that there's time to figure it out at first (:

Grid Battle by Sarah 2018-08-15T21:08:20Z

@boopsgames I agree about there being no time, I actually ran out of time to have an interactive tutorial that would help things sink in more. The best way is just trying and seeing in the end I think.

@nightsong The win condition seems iffy at times, although I know it works at least sometimes (maybe it won't let you win if there are extra, I didn't get to test it much :( ). It was the very last thing added and I didn't think it would happen. I also wasn't able to build out any custom enemies, so they're all pretty easy, and you're right, the combos aren't necessary to win. But the combos are just one of the main mechanics.

Ideally I wanted to have customized enemies with elemental resistances, so that the elements on the cards did matter. For right now, all that matters is to not play opposing elements or the damage will cancel out.

I'm already working on a post jam version that I'm hoping can be a more fully fleshed out game, with lots more intro to the battling. With things like cards that have less than 4 numbers, and more types of defense cards.

Grid Battle by Sarah 2018-08-17T02:48:57Z

@tetra There is a ? in game that has the same set of images that cycle through in the gif in the description on itch. From watching you try it, it looks like you were close to getting it right. You can click or drag on a card and whichever number/corner you're closest to will be the number that gets used. Each card colour/element has an opposing colour that will cancel out damage done by the other, Fire/Red & Water/Blue played together for example. There is also a timer between cards, you can only have one Next card chosen, so there's a little hourlgass by your cursor if you can't play a card.

It is confusing I know haha, but I was so focused on building out this specific mechanic that I didn't have time to build a good tutorial, but thanks a lot for trying it out!

Grid Battle by Sarah 2018-08-23T16:23:09Z

@kodachi && @mugenmagnus I'm so excited you both have played Baten Kaitos before!! The drag/swipe mechanic actually turned out so well, that I think it's a feasible mechanic for playing this type of game with a mouse&keyboard. I had been thinking about recreating the battle system in the week leading up to LD, so when the theme hit and I wasn't a huge fan, I just went for what was already in my head, but it was really really fun to make!

The most work probably went into the UI, and I had the game open in the room while I was coding (need a break? play a battle :P) so I was directly trying to recreate what they had going on. And I have to say, using the actual game UI as a reference was SOO helpful (:

As for the timer, I was using 5 seconds for testing and I sort of never really changed it, but I was going to set it back to at least 10 seconds, or maybe even 30. I completely forgot to go back and change the int before building though.

Same for the colours, except I just kind of lost the will power to fix the colours so that they worked better together. The main issue is that I have two monitors, and the colouring on one is really weird, so I didn't notice the colours were a little off until I was testing the actual itch version. And by that point, I was too tired to change the build :P

Card Tower Defense by frozenfire92 2018-08-15T18:27:48Z

Nice little polished experience! Good job (:

Astropocalypse by adrisj7 2018-08-26T03:42:34Z

I had a really hard time with the camera following the rotation of my ship, it kinda made my head hurt :( But other than that, the game is nice and works fairly well! Good job (:

Abernathium by Matthew Traylor 2018-08-16T02:46:58Z

It doesn't seem possible to get to the far right position, but otherwise it's an interesting concept. Even though it's not finished, it's still not bad!

Running out of Toaster by Jegus9 2018-08-15T17:18:31Z

The main character is really cute, and overall the art is nice! The gameplay is also really nice, I had a bit of a hard time using z & x to do things, so that's really the only thing I would change. At first I was so confused about the lamps, but that's such a cool feature to have added.

Good job!

Abalite Crystal Defender by Ryfi 2018-08-15T18:06:24Z

I wasn't expecting there to be any FPS elements at first when I saw the initial map/screen, but that was really cool. Once I got past the lag spikes (which seem to happen as the tanks get spawned) it worked find, and was pretty fun. Interesting mechanics overall, good job!

Red Square by tetra 2018-08-15T18:53:12Z

Really well done, the art is nice & simple, but that fits the game perfectly. The puzzles were nice, and I only wish there were more. Good job!

CRUMBLE by whycardboard 2018-08-15T18:38:53Z

Really cute game, it took me a little while to figure it out :P But once I did, it's a fun game. It really scared me the first time I fell through a crumbling piece, I kept risking it by walking across them haha :P

Quibble Quarrel by TJ101010 2018-08-16T02:34:50Z

Nicely done on the level of polish, the art is also really cute. The mechanics worked fairly well, but I found I ended up not actually needing to jump very much haha. Overall, well done, it was really fun to play!

Gut Feeding by MugenMagnus 2018-08-21T13:52:24Z

Overall, the whole feel of the game is really fun, it's fast paced and slightly difficult to do it perfectly. But the chaos of the flying good makes it fun :P I think the art is really cute as well (: Good job on making a well balanced game experience!

I kept running into issues where I wasn't able to pick up any food, but I'm not sure if it was intended or not. It would just not let me click for a second or two, and then it went back to normal.

XORN: The Fallen God by ThibaultAr 2018-08-26T03:39:30Z

I think my favourite part is the attack animation and how the lives are displayed. The whole game is really nice to look at and fun to play (:

CargoKitty by FeedDestroyer 2018-08-15T17:26:50Z

This game is beautiful, great job on the art! At first I was confused, but then once I got the hang of moving around it's actually really cool. I think just more time to get things done and move around would make things a lot easier, and would give us a chance to look at the nice sprites some more haha :P

Polterplot by posho 2018-08-16T02:44:04Z

I need access to try it? Can you make it public?

Polterplot by posho 2018-08-16T02:59:30Z

The art is super cute, and overall the game is really polished. I also really liked the music haha, it was great. Although near the end, I had all the yellow things on my side, except 2 weren't in place and the enemy couldn't get them back, so I reached a bit of a stalemate. But I really like this game, its really fun to play! Good job (:

Dog Science by pockyonastick 2018-08-26T03:46:32Z

Cute art! The game worked well, although I found I just didn't have enough time. But overall, it looks really polished and well done (:

The Gargoyle Landing by BoopsGames 2018-08-15T18:26:54Z

Really interesting game, I liked having to match the blocks and also create them, it was pretty hectic. There was a part where my laser got stuck on and wouldn't turn off, but it only happened once.

Otherwise, I agree that maybe the blocks shouldn't be able to be pushed off the edge to allow for true claustrophobia to set in (: Good job, it looks great!

The Gargoyle Landing by BoopsGames 2018-08-15T18:41:46Z

@boopsgames I think my main issue was I didn't see the first line of text on this page before playing, so I didn't really understand that I was supposed to actually match the pieces up (just me being dumb haha). At first I was pushing them off because I thought that was the only thing to do, so it's actually pretty fun :P

LD45 — Start with nothing

An Universe From Scratch by LeReveur 2019-10-18T19:46:31Z

Cool game! It was really interesting to discover new things! But it was a bit boring with nothing else to do. But overall, well done! It looks smooth, and I didn't run into any issues at all (:

Unlock Everything by DDRKirbyISQ 2019-10-09T08:39:23Z

Well done (: the unlocking of everything, like the music and options, was really cute! That's a lot of work to get done, so good job on that! It looks and sounds super retro and awesome, I loved it (:

Deboned by Sarah 2019-10-08T03:04:14Z

@umsee I initially planned to have some Game Over logic, that would test if you ran out of money and/or seeds, but I couldn't get it working in the final hour, so I took it out. It was intentional that you can 'get stuck' by running out of resource if you dont plan correctly, but since I didnt get the game over working, Im going to add more seeds to the store so that players can go on no matter what (:

@guitarbro the lack of seeds was supposed to be a bigger deal and cause a Game Over but (^^^) didnt happen xD BUT THATS OKAY, cause everything else happened. The soundFX, I agree, I did those in the final 20 minutes and once they were in game I realize how similar they were to the music, but I just didnt have any time to make new ones at that point (: In the end, I think the swaying is probably my favourite part haha \o/

@onlyallygrace Thanks a lot! This is my most polished game jam game yet! :D

Thanks for the initial feedback, Im updating the game riiiiight now so its a bit more playable (:

Deboned by Sarah 2019-10-08T03:19:58Z

@cjgladback Im thinking about adding a little recipe book now (: And thats the other MINOR >.> (MAJOR) bug in the game, is that you can just craft things with whatever ingredients... it really only cares about the formation AND I CANT FIGURE OUT WHY, it just always returns true on the "Are these the correct ingredients??" But im looking into it, im hoping fresh eyes tomorrow will spot the issue haha.

Thanks for the feedback, I started working on my own art&music in the past few years, so Im still not the best, but im getting there! (:

Deboned by Sarah 2019-10-09T03:30:37Z

@lightwaves I tried to see if I could make that happen to fix it, but I couldn't make it happen ): Im not sure whyyyy, but there are still 5 other bones you can find xD

@maryana thanks! I spent a few hours on the music, and it turned out kinda perfect in the end :D The buying/selling, the items get placed in the top box, and then you click on the bottom box to buy/sell. I was soo excited to make a game about Halloween!

@bismark that game looks really cute!

Thanks for playing and the feedback \o/

Deboned by Sarah 2019-10-09T08:45:52Z

@hyperscope The crafting recipes were empty until they were discovered, but I realize now how misleading that is xD SO I FIXED IT, I added a lock icon so that its easier to understand :)

The oven recipes are admittedly kinda hard to figure out, after crafting them myself all weekend, I forgot that haha

Deboned by Sarah 2019-10-10T05:49:45Z

@lukein I found out about that bug and its fixed now xD Im actually not sure how or why those two randomly had the wrong recipes in them, but theyre maybe fixed now... but as I type this I realize I didnt check another thing so its probably still broken actually \o/ BUT ITS OK, haha and theyre muffins :D

The expensive bone used to be almost double the price haha :D

@catie-jo I knew there would be a bit of difficulty using the UI system, but I was just having a hard time coming up with something that both looked nice & simple and got the point across easily. And I just ended up running out of time to focus on it, and I wasn't sure how to explain it. So I figured I'd let everyone figure it out rather than try and confuse them more haha. But basically, always put items into the top part, and always click on the bottom part to get an item/money back/sell.

The oven works when the proper recipe is in place, with the correct ingredients, a result will appear at the bottom. So for example, a Pie can be crafted with 3 Pumpkin Slices like this: [- X -] [X - X ] [- - -]

Thanks for playing and for the feedback :D

Deboned by Sarah 2019-10-11T00:22:06Z

@mimusangel Yes, the inventory management is a bit slow & repetitive, but that's because this was my first time building a drag&drop inventory at all, so I was surprised I got it working with a single item!! And once I got it working, I forgot allllll about maybe wanting to place more than one item xD So when I was doing final testing I realized that it was a bit.... slow (:

I might be able to add it in though, if I spend a short bit of time adding a bit to the management :)

Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for playing!

Deboned by Sarah 2019-10-18T20:05:32Z

@anticdope The repetitiveness was all due to me not knowing how to do multi select/selling etc I knewww it would be annnoying in the end, but this was the first time Ive done a drag&drop so to even get it working like I did made me really happy! :P Im actually trying to make it work with multiselect but I havent gotten to touch the game this week ): But thanks :D

@julianbeutel This is probably one of my best songs that I've made for a LD game yet! Making the pumpkins dance made me smile sooooo much haha

@snesgaard I even boosted the ghosts movement already!! You should have seen how slow it was before xD The ghost having to get its bones back by painstakingly making foods it couldnt consume it probably one of the deeper themes of the day :P

@lereveur Once you start playing, time passes quicker than you'd think! And thanks! I must have the unlocks swapped, it was a change I made quick before heading out one evening. But it's an easy fix :)

@chocolat-endive I tried to add a few hints for the recipes (on the computer screen) but I just wasn't sure how else to incorporate helping with the recipes. I knowww there are so many combinations, but in the end I had made everything so many times that I sort of forgot how hard it is to discover these combinations. I'm DEFINITELY now thinking about adding some that you could buy from the store, THATS SO COOL AND I DIDNT THINK ABOUT IT!! Haha Im pretttty sure its an easy add.

@stamestratagem It was slow, but it used to be slower xD

@ynneblack To start, I appreciate you coming back to my game!! That means a lot to me :D And I'm glad you appreciate that Halloween is the best :P I couldn't resist making a spooky game cause I usually try to jam something spooky around this time anyway. I agree that the money does not look clickable, I panicked about that for a little bit, and I was generally unsure what to do about it haha. I thought about adding a Buy Now button or something, but I just sort of ran out of time in the end. And with the recipes, I had tested it and played it myself so much, that I forgot how weird it was!

The timer was initially not meant to run so fast, I was planning on having muuuuuuch slower days and longer growing times/tending to the crops etc, but I ended up wanting to simplify it. And then I added the day/night/sun/moon/sky etc and I loved that part. I had wanted there to maybe spoilage of items, so timing would matter, but I decided to drop all that extra stuff. So in retrospect, I never really needed to show the actual time or day but I never bothered to turn it off and kinda forgot about it haha.

The only hints in game are two recipes appearing on the computer screen (pie and muffins I believe). When it came to the placement, I didn't actually want it to be configuration based, but then Ive just been playing a lot of minecraft lately so I wanted to see if I could make that part work (I did xD) but it would be really easy (and cool) to have some recipes where configuration doesn't matter. I.e 3 slices will always make soup, no matter where they are.

If you're interested in learning the other recipes, I can post a screenshot in the comments of all the possible recipes! You can make: Pie, Soup, Cookies, Muffins, Bread & Roasted Seeds.

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it! I plan on working some more this weekend on it and seeing if I can possible expand the crafting to have more recipes, with combinations of ingredients and any configuration etc. Im glad everyone is enjoying the ART&MUSIC, I WORKED REALLY HARD ON IT \o/

<3

Words With Foes: Quest for the Lexinomicon by MattWoelk 2019-10-09T08:32:08Z

This game is soooo fun! Really well done (: its super polished, and reallly really fun. The art and sounds are nice, and I like the speaking and the writing is cute :)

The only thing that was a bit annoying was unlocking a whole word of letters at once, it was kinda long, but each letter had its own explanation, so it would be harder to condense it I imagine.

But overall, great game and good job!

Protodroid of the Void by Bismark 2019-10-10T05:26:48Z

Cool looking levels (: I also had some issues with the slow move speed and the fast camera rotation, if the speeds were equalized a bit, exploring would be quite fun :id:

But well done overall on getting everything working and having a cool level!

Enter the Abyss by GuitarBro 2019-10-08T03:15:51Z

This game was a little bit scarrrrry for my liking haha, but overall it was really well done. It looked beautiful and the monsters chased me down and killed me ;-;

I'm not very good at this kind of game, but it took me half of my play time to realize I could click anywhere to attack, I think my brain is still mush from the weekend of coding.

But great job, it's a nice little world :)

Enter the Abyss by GuitarBro 2019-10-08T03:48:04Z

@guitarbro I honestly thought I had to click on the icon on screen to get it to work, and my first thought was 'Does my attack only go downward???' And then I was like, no... I must be doing it wrong xD

Barterin' Buckaroo by chelC 2019-10-08T03:40:29Z

I beat it \o/ I love the music, and the whole feel of the game (: Well done! It took me a minute to remember that I could go back and talk to the one guy eventually, but overall it was a good puzzle!

Light Reading by CJGladback 2019-10-08T03:46:46Z

Interesting game! I really like things like this, and I love exploring around. The only issue I had was having a bit of a hard time reading the text on that colour background ):

But overall it was fun, damnit Jim (:

The Little Adventure for Slime by mimusangel 2019-10-10T05:34:51Z

I love the style of this game, its really bright and the slimes are suppppper cute. Well done in a weekend, even with some issues, it turned out really nice!

Castaways by GhostGoatsGames 2019-10-10T05:57:46Z

This game is really cool and super cute! Great job on the graphics and sounds, I really do like them a lot. And the gameplay itself is fun. I love management games, and I actually made a game very similar to this for a global game jam one year. So I loved playing it (:

I didnt really run into any issues other than being kinda bad at eyesight so some things on screen were a bit hard to see/read, but overall it didnt really hurt the game much :D

Well done!

Start with No"thing" (survival game) by Aret24 2019-10-10T05:44:02Z

Poor back of plane xD But also, I jumped off the slide of the mountain, and without pressing anything I just kept bouncing away. Which, while hilarious, maybe shouldnt be happening haha.

But overall theres a lot going on here, so well done on getting this all finished! Well done :D

Tiny Reactor by coffeecup.winner 2019-10-08T07:15:56Z

This is a really cool game (: It looks really polished, so well done on that front! It's pretty fun to play, I love simulation type games and things like this!

The only thing I'd add, is maybe just a bit more instruction in game on what to do, but once I figured it out, which didnt take long haha, everything was fine :D

...Not Even a Body!? by snesgaard 2019-10-11T00:31:35Z

I love the little ghost, its so cute! I also made a game with a ghost character, CAUSE OF COURSE WE HAD TO (I get you xD) But the game itself it a fun puzzle, I liked it a lot (:

Im glad I read the comments/directions (so maybe having that in your list of controls as well would be helpful) so I knew that escape was to reset, cause that launching part was fun haha. Althought it took me like 2 minutes ):

Great job overall!

Rail shooter prototype by Chocolat-Endive 2019-10-18T19:41:48Z

I didn't really understand what was going on ): but it did look really nice, and it sounded good as well. So overall, good job on getting to where you reached! Even if it's not a full game, it's still a solid amount of work completed.

It's super cool looking, and even though I was confused, I still enjoyed it!

Dream Avatar by ynneblack 2019-10-18T19:33:34Z

I really like visual novels and games like this to start, but this one was very polished and looked very nice (: The music was really nice, and it added to the questionable atmosphere of what was going on in the game. The story was, a bitttt random, but I loved it for that haha. The option choosing mechanics were very smooth as well!

Overall, well done (:

Stash by stamestratagem 2019-10-18T19:39:30Z

I love the menu music! All of the music was really good though, probably my favourite part haha. I literally screamed when the music changed and I was being chased xD I didn't see the lady on the left of the screen and she came out of nowhere and it was scary :P

The mechanics of the elevator and doors/keys, all really cool! Well done (:

Its a solid game, even if its slightly terrifying to run away from women 3x my size :D

Fairytiles by fre 2019-10-10T05:32:19Z

This whole game is really amazing! I love it so much :) I love choose your own adventure type games, and ive already played another typing game that was similar :D Really fun, and the writing was well done.

The polish was really well done, and I like the smoothness of everything on screen. The letter animations and typing response and everything was perfect!

Good job overall

Let There Be Light by michaelaranda 2019-10-08T07:32:26Z

The coolest part is the procedural music, it adds a lot to the game (:

I think more energy would have made it slightly less frustrating, just because it was a bit slow waiting to refill it at times but overall it was interesting and really nice to listen to, well done!

An excuse for a game by umsee 2019-10-08T07:08:21Z

I tried to play it, but it wont let me download it for some reason ):

Girl in a Dungeon by Phoenix Fireflower 2019-10-11T20:29:20Z

Cute game, and it was fun to play through the levels. But the sounds were a bit jarring without any music to back them up. I didn't really run into any bugs, although the spiky enemies are mean, and scared me when they first came at me haha.

The only thing I'd change is that you can move faster when moving diagonally. There's a really simple mathematical fix to stop that from happening (normalize your movement), so that your character will run the same speed in every direction!

Overall, well done! :)

42LD45_Blank by sgalasso 2019-10-10T05:41:01Z

This is a cool concept, at first I had no idea what was going on, and then the spikes got me and I lol'd xD It was a bit hard though afterwards to tell what was going on.

But being able to see your footprints was an interesting way to see where you were going (sort of)

But overall, well done :)

The Legend of the Empty One by SpicyPaper 2019-10-11T20:24:31Z

So there's a lot going on here, but it's a bit confusing at first. The scene changes/music is a bit abrupt, but thats not really a big deal.

Its a very interesting idea, having different abilities? and then picking which to have in your inventory. I also reallly really liked the scroll thing that chose something new. That looked really cool (:

Overall I really like where it was going, but it needs some polish and explanations. But the combat works nicely, even though its really hard (but Im bad at games like this, so its probably on me haha)

The only other thing that messed me up was the screen size, I could only see everything when it full full screen. And when I left full screen, the UI in the inventory was off.

But overall, well done!

The Drainpipe Market by Tom Frikker 2019-10-09T08:43:52Z

Interesting idea, and cute graphics (:

It was a bit difficult to know how to trade but it was still fun to trade away :P Well done over the weekend!

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Loopy Mansion by Sarah 2020-10-08T03:44:41Z

@tom-a @pranjalbisht @snowinn @conneli @lenophie @erlioniel

THE GAME IS NOW AVAILABLE ON ITCH!

Sorry for the delays friends, it just took me a little while to find time to build the game and upload it once the game jam ended! <3 <3 <3

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment :3

Loopy Mansion by Sarah 2020-10-08T15:58:05Z

@conneli Part of the puzzle is to figure out how to turn the lights on (;

@snowinn Have you tried it tho? You dont move and battle at the same time xD

Loopy Mansion by Sarah 2020-10-08T15:59:40Z

@conneli Theres a gif in the description that even shows how you can turn the lights on!!

Operation D.I.G. by Sarah 2021-04-27T19:06:40Z

@canvasdev I've been trying to figure out the broken link since last night, and I kept trying to fix it. TURNS OUT, I forgot to make it public on itch.

Thanks for pointing it out (and everyone else who messaged me directly about it) <3 <3 <3

It should be working now, I was very sleep deprived last night when I uploaded it xD

LD49 — Unstable

Fast Flats! by Stending 2021-10-08T03:50:41Z

I loved this! It was really cute and fun to play \o/ I loved trying to balance the furniture although, IM SLOW AND MAKE MANY DESIGN CHOICES (i.e I need more time xD) Everything was pretty polished and worked well :3

I think my favourite part was the acappella theme on the second playthrough, pure gold! I love the furniture items and it's actually pretty fun to try to make them stand up once you get the hang of things!

Overall well done <3 Thanks for submitting your game to me to try out!!

Political misdirection by LeReveur 2021-10-20T23:04:43Z

So at first, reading the rules I was confused. But then once I understood what was going on, it was actually quite fun! I like the shapes, but my brain is really not fast enough to play long without losing.

It reminds me of games like reigns where you choose an option and it has an outcome, only really fast and real time haha. The graphics are really cute and it looks really polished overall.

Well done \o/

Lunar Grid by ranseur 2021-10-10T22:29:55Z

Super fun and interesting idea! I loved the different weapons/dangers and things, they were all very cool looking. I am monumentally awful at this game but I still have fun haha. It looks really cute and sounds great as well and the little spaceship is really adorable!!

Nice job in 48 hours!! Very well done and super polished overall.

Banana Republic: Nuclear Power Plantain by LandoSystems 2021-10-05T02:02:07Z

The coloured text is soo cool, I love all the different things it does!! I also really like the music.

Gameplay wise there is a lot going on, but the junk, I mean... ammo flinging is amazing haha. Although I'm pretty sure I just murdered a banana, I did laugh while I did it. This *might be bad* >.>

The angy banana mob made my night, so thank you for creating this masterpiece! The dialogue part is really well done, it looks clean :3

I had to let it explode at the end, and gotta say, it was worth it. NICE JOB everyone \o/

Jingoku by Skyeward 2021-10-08T04:14:17Z

I love this game so much, definitely one of my favourite ludum dare games so far!! The mini game concept is great and its so polished!! The transition screens between the start of the mini game and playing work really well.

The jenga tower part itself was also pretty fun, and I was able to take out entire rows of pieces without it falling over haha. I definitely wanna play this more as I was able to beat EXACTLY ONE SINGLE MINI GAME, and I played some of them more than once :3

Overall, amazing job at getting so many functioning and polished mechanics working! I love the idea of using mini games to get more smaller, but more random chunks of games all in one place \o/

Super cool and thanks for submitting it for me to try <3

Ecologist by bloodyaugust 2021-10-20T23:09:43Z

I was really interested before I started this cause I really love games about nature and growing stuff. Overall, it felt a little slow, for the first little while all I could do was wait to add new grass, but eventually I was able to grow more things and it got a bit more busy \o/

The graphics are cute and I like the animals running around. Having some more UI or feedback on what's going on would have been helpful, because I wasn't sure what I was doing to make it unstable haha

Good job!

Unstable Tables : Tales Of A Super Hero Waiter by paulhocker 2021-10-12T04:31:00Z

Super polished and really cute looking. I love the overall theming and the matching icons looked adorable. Although some of them were hard to tell apart at a glance. I really liked the hints just slowly animating after a time if you couldn't find a match :3

I did see one small issue, where two new items dropped down, and they got matched with (what seemed like) an item that was just above the board but out of view. Otherwise there were no real other bugs or issues though!

I thought the little waiter man was cute and I liked the level chooser screen. Overall, really well done, I played it for a lot more levels than I expected I would because I'm typically really bad at matching games!!

StackItToSpace by Sarah 2021-10-05T01:51:41Z

AHHH, thanks for trying it out!! I'm already making a list of things to fix haha

@jeffrey-hwang so I actually questioned that part several times, I was scared that overall the items might get lost forever/ it would be too hard to complete. So for the sake of game jamming, I left the wall colliders in, however, I have plans to make the levels more difficult as you get higher :3

@dawnflame Thanks \o/ I used my super scientific galaxy colour expertise to find the palette :P

@hinesite I REALLY WANTED TO GENERATE THE ITEMS, but I just ran out of time, so I ended up using the set of test items I had been using all weekend, along with some extras added. But I plan to make a longer, 'infinitely' generated set of levels with a timer, to see how far you can get \o/

I also would have lovedddd, to add more items. I got the bulk of the items drawn Saturday afternoon and then didn't add a single other item after that haha

THANKS FOR PLAYING, Ill be trying out more games tomorrow \o/

StackItToSpace by Sarah 2021-10-05T20:07:57Z

@adam-jewell @frozenfire92 @noah-whittington thanks for playing \o/ I was hoping to get more humour into the game in the forms of more interesting items, but I just ran out of time!

I actually got random item generation added today :3 @hinesite

StackItToSpace by Sarah 2021-10-08T04:20:22Z

@human-writes-code aww I'm glad you liked it \o/ I tried really hard to make all the art match and have somewhat of a cohesive style :3

@roelosaurus for some reason, having differently pitched music at different heights was something my brain latched onto and really wanted to add. I literally added it 15 minutes before submission haha (and also created it 15 minutes before adding it)

@hinesite I had hoped to get the generation in during the last hour, but I decided to go for adding some quick audio instead (because I was so hung up on the same tune but different pitches/instruments etc) haha and I figured it would be a quick update.

I actually used Inkscape to make all my graphics, it's a bit strange, but I find it easiest for some reason to build everything with shapes and lines/curves.

@swiney tis the best way to get to space \o/

@doc-kaos the side bar and the line timer things were something that I had to mess with for a few hours too long but in the end, they worked perfectly and im so glad I spent the time on it haha

THANKS FOR TRYING OUT MY GAME BBS

StackItToSpace by Sarah 2021-10-08T14:22:38Z

@bak IM SO HAPPY SOMEONE NOTICED THE SCREEN (I'm also dying of laughter at your screenshots haha. I was gonna add some random word generation to make each screen unique but then I decided to just leave it as is and see if anyone would notice!

@v174m1n @alex-aspa thanks for playing <3

@holbinski @gno-evenimente I tried hard to get more music in but I actually created and added the music (I had a longer loop but it sounded not great haha) in the literal final 15 minutes of the jam!! It get's pretty repetitive since it's only like 1 note long, HOWEVER, I was trying to get across the idea that the music would be the same theme but it would shift as you got higher into space :3

THANKS FOR TRYING MY GAME OUT \o/

StackItToSpace by Sarah 2021-10-10T22:49:45Z

@xedur I actually had worked on a longer, 45 second ish loop for almost half an hour BEFORE I realized I hated it and it didn't fit. However, when exporting that longer loop, I had a short, two bar loop at the end that I forgot about. THAT ending loop is what I took to become to actual loop I used in game. And I was cringing at the idea of it being like 4 seconds long haha. However, it helped me get the idea of having the same melody but differently sounding at each level :3

I think the Book Title is also my favourite, I was going to generate some random titles, but I ran out of time and it sadly wasn't a priority.

I agree though that the items would have been better to swing around the point of my mouse, FOR SOME REASON, THIS DID NOT CROSS MY MIND haha. But I really wish I HAD thought of that, because it sounds great. In terms of the level difficulty, that was intentional. Because I didn't have enough time to actually test and tweak an algorithm to generate a set of items that would 'always work', so I made sure there was well over enough objects just in case. I'm working on something that generates items with *just* enough height to reach the line, thus creating an actual challenge.

@very-dark-lord Initially the idea WAS that you would have to stack it all the way to space without help haha. However, I ran out of time near the end to make it continuously rise, so I went for static levels instead \o/

@idenoh The timer bar and the height bar are actually my proudest moments from this jam haha. The fact that they *actually function* and seemingly properly as well, I'm very happy with it xD The assass is maybe the best part of the whole game haha

@phlp The background details were some of my favourite things to implement :3 it was really silly and made me happy haha.

@yikescloud I actually normally have WAY more difficult games but I wanted to make sure this one was easy enough that everyone would be able to get to space. Mostly cause I love how space turned out <3

@gimbalock I actually initially had my controls as left click to grab it and you held onto the button and then letting go dropped it, however, I was running into bugs where if I moved my mouse off screen and then back on, I would have to click again to get the item to drop (effectively left click to drop etc) and having playing with it for a while, for some reason I just switched it to right click. But thinking about it, left click to drop would also work well :3

@vphyre Thanks for that! I definitely meant to add some form of message or page to show the overall point was to get past the line, however I actually forgot entirely by the end of the jam haha. It might still be an easy thing to add in the top corner by the button controls \o/

@ranseur I tried to make it extra easy this jam cause some of my past games have been extra hard xD And I really wanted everyone to experience space haha

@adriankrawczyk I hope you enjoyed the rocket!! (It probably bugged out halfway across the screen, but we won't talk about that haha)

@javicoder thanks for trying it!!

@iori-branford Stacking the smaller items can actually be so fun and rewarding! I've been thinking about a post jam version where there are only small items to stack.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR PLAYING MY GAME AND LEAVING GREAT FEEDBACK, I APPRECIATE IT <3

StackItToSpace by Sarah 2021-10-18T21:01:21Z

@vitor-milioni I realllly badly wanted to have more specific items as you got higher up! But I'm not an artist by any means and it took me a while to make all the art, and I just ran out of time to add *any more at all* so I had to randomize it all.

I also did have it generating from a set of 'large' items and then normal size ones/the smaller ones, so that there was supposed to be a limit on the bigger things. Howeer, I ran out of time to add the height mechanic I wanted, which would have determined how high (ish) a certain group of items would have been able to *maybe* get to. That way I could generate a set of items that would only barely make the height requirements, making it difficult to beat.

BUT since I ran out of time, I went the opposite direction and made sure each level was easy, but the generation was added so far at the end, that it hasn't really been tested haha. If I had managed to get a 'reset level' button in, I could have made it so that you needed to regenerate items if they didn't work. Maybe in an update \o/

@nyubi @lereveur Thanks for playing \o/

@simonl Cleaning out space to start stacking was something I thought about but ultimately wasn't sure how to approach. I had thought about maybe dropping the items in on each side, but I was worried the force would push them offscreen. However, having bounds during the drop could probably solve that \o/ and still leave a bit of empty space in the center potentially.

Thanks for playing everyone :3

StackItToSpace by Sarah 2021-10-20T23:13:55Z

@paulhocker that was something that I actually intented to be part of the 'puzzle' of figuring out how to place things. Since I hadn't thought about the item being affected by physics while I was holding it, I figured you would get it to the rotation you wanted, and then pick it up quickly haha

@bloodyaugust I tried really hard to focus on polish and a full game experience \o/ I spent most of my time on the background elements and everything passively just existing. And the mechanics themselves, I coded that part Friday night and had a lof of fun just stacking and throwing around random placeholder items, and that's what I knew it was gonna be my game!

@cdunham I had hoped to get resetting the level in, but given that I added the random generation very last minute, I just didn't have any more time to add the UI for resetting, code wise it would have been super simple!

@zeilanda Im hoping to make a more continuous version where the items freeze in place when you reach the next target height, and then you just keep climbing as high as possible!

Thanks for trying my game \o/

Islands of Chess by frozenfire92 2021-10-05T20:29:12Z

\o/ cute graphics!! I like the atmosphere of the game :3 well done everyone!

Stronkey Kong by 100th_Coin 2021-10-05T20:38:23Z

Overall, I love everything about this game \o/ It sounds really nice, the graphics are really adorable and everything is nicely polished. So well done on all that!!

I really like the idea of buying pieces to build with, so I went into the store, ready to construct a tower of my dreams. After looking at all the items, and not buying anything, I decided to go back outside to scope out the lands and decide what would be the most efficient piece to buy!

I stepped outside, and *immediately* got hit with a barrel, lost all my money, and DIDN'T EVEN GET TO GO SHOPPING. Then I died laughing haha, but nice game :3!!

Button's Garden by Matt Heinrich 2021-10-05T02:07:58Z

I was able to figure out how to plant things and complete one list of the mission? So I was able to gain some time on the timer :3

The graphics are really cute! Although I wasn't sure how to gain more seeds to plant new things after I completed the first list of requests!

Overall, well done everyone!!

My Little Monster by cdunham 2021-10-12T04:19:19Z

Cute concept, and the main character is adorable! I liked the animations when it was eating or drinking.

Overall, well done \o/

Tribulation by Adrenallen 2021-10-12T04:38:45Z

Apparently not killing them and letting them chase you is a bad idea and leads to death but I was REALLY hoping I could just outrun the creepies haha. The attack animation on the enemies is spooky, but I like it.

I love the effects when you go insane, it really gives me Dont Starve insanity vibes, and overall that part is really cool. I think the graphics look great, although an attack animation for the main character would have made attacking a bit easier for me.

Overall, really well done! It was fun, but I'm really bad at killing things haha xD

Monday by gimbalock 2021-10-10T21:41:14Z

You just haddd to go and bring math into my monday morning eh (just kidding, I love math >.>) BUT OMG, I actually love this so much haha. It's really fun and it gets challenging near the end.

It's also super realistic in terms of stress on mondays, so extra points for that haha. Really good job for completing it in 24 hours!! I love the idea overall, and the actually gameplay is kinda whack a mole-y.

The only real issue I had is the tone for the single circles, it was a bit hard on the ears, which I think having a volume slider could have fixed, but time \o/ Great job!!

Unstable mage by Trizalio 2021-10-18T21:09:17Z

This is a really interesting game idea. The graphics are pretty cute, but I did have some issues with the UI staying in place. It kept flickering and hiding, so it was hard to tell what each item did.

Fairly well done, I had fun playing it even though I lost horribly to the monsters haha

Path of the Pogo by Human Writes Code 2021-10-08T04:24:14Z

OMG it's so hard haha but honestly it's hilarious. It's actually really fun but I'm just so so bad at it haha. I'm also incredibly sleepy so that probably isn't helping my case xD

I found the jumping noise a bit jarring/loud compared to everything else, but the graphics are really cute and I love them.

I'd love to see someone who is good at games try and beat it though, seems like it would be a really entertaining rage game :3

Dog ate the bomb by Aspabot 2021-10-08T04:01:32Z

The dog is adorable!! And I love him. Overall I think my favourite part was the feather particles though, really adorable!!

Everything is well polished and pretty solid. It took me a small time to get a hang of the controls, but once I figured it out I was able to beat the game :3

Well done overall, I loved it :3 Thanks for submitting it for me to try out \o/

Fission Friends by Peco 2021-10-08T04:08:59Z

I really love how adorable everything is! A bit more variation on particle types would be nice but not really needed. I'm terrible at games like this so I wasn't able to get very far but the mechanics feel pretty solid \o/

Being able to change your 'weapon' was a really cool feature and I liked that part a lot as well :3

It sounds great and its really cute to look at and overall I think its pretty fun. Good job everyone, thanks for submitting it for me to try out <3

Castle fall: gatekeeper by Rs11s21n 2021-10-12T04:16:24Z

The graphics are really cute and it's an interesting concept, but it's hard to figure out what's going on. I wasn't really sure what the point really was, but I kept clicking on things and eventually let some humans through \o/

Good job overall

Castle fall: gatekeeper by Rs11s21n 2021-10-12T14:01:32Z

@rs11s21n No I meant overall as in, good job making it all work together :3 Sometimes it can be hard to get something even functioning during the jam haha

Mint by Préda 2021-10-08T04:10:56Z

FIRE BAD, BUT I WANT TO TOUCH IT.

I lovee the animations as you change your direction while floating, its really cute. And overall I think the main character looks awesome walking around. The environment and music/effects are also all amazing as well. They really set a good atmosphere for a story game.

It was a bit difficult if you got too close to a wall, that's probably the only issue I had with movement, otherwise it was really fun to fly around :3

Overall really well done, and its super polished and a cute little (but whole) experience. Thanks for submitting it for me to try <3

Cloudfall by Diego Escalante 2021-10-12T04:51:34Z

I really like how the music changes as you get higher, and the evolving background was really nice too! I actually attempted to do something similar in my own game, with shifting backgrounds as you get up higher, so I think that's really cool.

The music sounds really good and the little bird is adorable. Being the terrible gamer that I am, I started this game and for some reason the bird just kept running right, and I was pretty sure it wasn't supposed to do that. I was about to comment that I ran into a bug, when I remembered I used my controller for a different game earlier in the night and it was sitting there, giving me input haha.

SO once I tried the game without the bird constantly running right, it was 1000x easier haha, and pretty fun. But i'm still bad at the actual jumping, so I couldn't really get past 150 ish.

Overall, really well done :3

JennyBee by Iori Branford 2021-10-10T22:32:34Z

Interesting concept! I love the main character, super adorable!! I had to fullscreen the game to be able to properly see what was going on though.

I won't lie, at first I thought I was eating the ants, not squishing them haha!! However, well done!!

Devil's Sitter by VPhyre 2021-10-10T22:20:07Z

The very first thing I tried to do was walk out the front door, and I immediately got my head sliced off, I think I missed the fine print in that contract I signed when I started sitting tonight xD.

I love the main characters animations as she runs around, its super cute and graphics as a whole are nice. I love the death screen and overall it seems pretty polished, and I love the devil baby :3

Well done team!

Glown-Up by very dark lord 2021-10-10T22:09:07Z

So I was on day 3, living my dreams, keeping things stable, AND I GOT THROWN IN THE REACTOR BY ANOTHER WORKER!?

I'm unsure if this is a bug or a feature, but 10/10 would get tossed in a reactor again hahaha. Overall, the graphics are really cute and I love the little workers running around. Another one also yeeted itself into the reactor and I'm pretty sure I heard a scream >.>

However, it's super fun and overall great job everyone! Super polished and cute experience :3

Glown-Up by very dark lord 2021-10-13T21:48:01Z

I was really hoping it was a feature haha!

A Turtle's Tale by SirMichel 2021-10-18T21:06:08Z

I was wondering where the voice acting was! Then I died after falling through a tile xD And I tried the intro, and it sounded nice \o/ Although, I would have liked it to maybe automatically play the first time I play the game. That way I don't want to worry about missing it.

The game itself was interesting, I really liked the music. It sounded really nice, and it went well with the game. I did seem to have a bug, where the audio cut out for about 3 seconds, but then it started playing and it worked fine after that.

Overall, its fun to fight things, but I'm really bad so I just keep dying haha. Welldone team!

ŮNSTÅBLĒ by Dominium11 2021-10-08T03:59:15Z

This game is such a similar idea to my game!! I love it!! The breakableness of everything is my favourite part :3

It's super fun and hilarious to see the objects just flying around. It's also amazingly fun to just smash items together >.> I wasn't very good at actually stacking items, but it was really fun!!

It sounds really great and the graphics look really cute! Overall well done everyone <3

Thanks for submitting it for me to try \o/

Neon Saber by Kaish 2021-10-08T03:54:41Z

The thing I love most is the graphics \o/ It's a super cute game and I really loved the octopus (maybe I'm biased towards pink, but shhhh) The chaos that ensues from the frantic flying is amazing and really fun!!

Its super polished and sounds amazing as well! I loved the animation when your shield disperses or whatever. The neon sabers look really good and overall a really good job :3

Thanks for submitting your game for me to try it <3

RoTable by Vitor Milioni 2021-10-05T03:05:23Z

This is hilarious but also really difficult to get the hang of haha. But it is really fun \o/

Good job overall!! The graphics look good and the table looks really polished :3

Labarnas — A narrative board game in ancient times by SimonL 2021-10-20T23:01:42Z

I wasn't able to play it because I can't print it, although I see that others used some programs to simulate playing it. It seems interesting overall, and I love that you did something non traditional!

Feed Me Pizza! by yikescloud 2021-10-10T22:15:51Z

The main character is really well done! And I love how you can turn the music on and off at the jukebox. The gameplay itself is really fun and I absolutely loved catching the pizza in my hands first to throw!

Nice job overall, its really cute and fun :3

Lucky Lefty Loves Landslides by TheBookSnail 2021-10-12T04:42:32Z

I really hate it when someone just stops holding up the world, so rude! The gameplay made me laugh cause its random and fun to just jump around. But the sound effects are hilarious haha, nice job on adding those.

The snail is adorable, and I love your title screen!! Overall, nice job, its really cute :3

Uranium-236 by XeduR 2021-10-10T22:02:49Z

I'm pretty sure that now I'm a scientist, right? This game looks super cute and polished and I love the screen shake as things get more and more unstable.

I was terrible at this game haha, but I understand HOW in theory to keep it stable, I just couldn't do it xD Overall, well done in the time you had!!

Unbalanced by archfan7411 2021-10-05T20:32:38Z

Good, job! I found it hard to stay balanced at all but it sounds nice!

Turnip Boi and the Forest Lost in Time by Codeman1010 2021-10-10T21:34:31Z

The atmosphere of the game is really great, I love the graphics and the lil mushrooms? standing in the level are adorable \o/ I really loved the music after going through the rift, and also just going through the rift was a really cool feature.

The gravity felt a bit strange, kinda like dropping like a rock, only more intense. But at the same time, the jump was a little harder to control, so having more time to move while falling/falling slowing would make it a bit easier. Although I'm really bad at platformers of any kind xD

The only other issue I had was that the starting text in the air was a bit hard to read because it kinda clashed with the game UI. Overall I really liked it and well done \o/

UNTetris by JaviCoder 2021-10-10T23:02:05Z

This is super polished!! And I love the sounds and graphics so much. It's really relaxing and peaceful and actually really fun to play around with moving the pieces.

The beam that comes up when you get the ball in the hole is really pretty and I love that part! It's super clean between levels and the UI looks nice \o/

The levels are easy but it was still fun and sometimes I yeeted the ball off the map haha. Overall, well done, I loved it!

Generation Z by Adam Jewell 2021-10-05T20:10:27Z

So I eventually learned that I was casually murdering humans, but its fine >.>

The camera was definitely clipping so I could see below the ground but overall the camera movement was nice \o/ The sounds when murdering humans were a bit hard on the ears though, compared to the rest of the sounds.

Good job overall :3

Desultorium by Nyubi 2021-10-20T22:59:46Z

I was a bit confused about what to do, but it was still pretty fun to jump around. The music was a bit loud but otherwise not so bad.

I noticed that the UI is cut off unless the game is full screened. Ive had some issues with this as well, it's usually related to canvas renderer sorting in Unity.

Overall, well done getting a game to work!

Boat History by etrealjunior 2021-10-08T04:06:06Z

I think this is my favourite game so far this jam!! It's really fun and 'relaxing' :3 The music was amazing, even though it still managed to scare me, I could listen to it all day!

The water mechanic is super cool and really unique, I love how it fits with the theme. I think it would be a really fun game to try and speed run if there were more levels! I wasn't able to beat it myself but given more time I think I could do it!

It feels very polished mechanics wise, and although the boat is simple, I really love it. Overall, really good job on completing this <3 And thanks for submitting it for me to try \o/

Boat History by etrealjunior 2021-10-08T14:26:30Z

Your game is in my list of games to try again!! And definitely in my top games of this jam so far \o/ IF I MANAGE TO WIN, I'll let you know :3

Cultist aboard ! by Guilloteam 2021-10-10T21:45:23Z

I think the music is my favourite part! It really sets a good atmosphere and the graphics of the UI panels are also amazing. The gameplay itself reminds me of Reigns, and other choice games and its super fun, I love reading things like this.

The dialogue seemed well written and I liked that the choices actually had some substance to them. The bars across the bottom looked really well polished too!

Overall, well done everyone \o/

End of Time by aymarX 2021-10-08T04:01:08Z

I love it \o/ The concept was really interesting and I liked being able to kill the enemies while balancing keeping the crystal alive. Having to collect the blue crystals to shoot more made it really hard for me xD

I didn't have the skills to beat the boss, but it was cool that you got that part added!! The opening scenes are really adorable, but the font was a bit hard for me to read D:

Overall well done, thanks for submitting it for me to play <3

Unstable Genius by Doc Kaos 2021-10-08T04:16:45Z

I love the theming of ludum dare and having my very own page to play around with haha. The game itself was well polished and worked well with the windows. I love how you used real life videos and images to make it feel like a more complete experience.

The puzzle was cute and I liked that there was extra content to look around through. Great job overall and thanks for submitting it for me to try \o/

Unstable Concoctions by Timbertoes 2021-10-12T04:22:18Z

The concept of mixing potions to use is really cool!! I really really wish there was some type of AI that I could fight against because I don't have a teammate haha. However, I did get my controller and I used my keyboard to attempt the game.

The effects when you fall into the pit are cute and I really liked those. The graphics and audio are really well polished and the game has a good atmosphere :3

Well done!!

The Legend of Slime Princess Jeremy by hinesite 2021-10-05T02:11:37Z

The music was loud and it scared me haha, but the best part was shooting at the water, and seeing the bullet just bounce back xD I reached a person to fight and died immediately haha, I'm not very good at shooting things haha

Goodjob team, the only thing I would add is maybe some controls for the audio \o/

Kessler Controll by Mechazawa 2021-10-05T20:41:17Z

This was actually super fun!! I was confused at first, and I spent a few rounds just crashing things and enjoying that haha. However, once I actually tried it out for real, its fun and a bit challenging after there are more things to control \o/

Overall, well done, the graphics are cute and I liked it :3

RoughTrain by Dogez 2021-10-10T21:57:34Z

Overall there is a lot going on in the game, graphically and audibly, well done on that! I wish the gameplay had a bit more substance other than just 'E' to interact, however, the environment was really nice.

I think it's cool that you added voice lines and the dialogue looked nice. Overall, well done!

Jeff Origin Stories Jefferson Escape by phlp 2021-10-10T22:11:39Z

I'm still a bit confused about the weapons and how it determines which you'll use, however the fighting was fun but I was incredibly bad at it haha. The idea of shifting into a different world to fight your monster coworkers? was an interesting idea and definitely fits the theme haha.

Nice job!!

Tangerine Massacre by arvz 2021-10-08T04:28:23Z

I love the little characters in game, I DON'T WANT TO CHOP THEM. Overall its so cute and very polished looking! It was a bit hard to close the game at the end without any menus or anything. But the cuteness makes up for it.

The attacking animations look really nice, and they feel fun to use. I love how the fruits look after theyre cut in half.

Overall well done \o/

The Door of Illusions by 2CCs 2021-10-08T03:57:15Z

This game really took me for a trip xD But I loved it. It sounded nice and the theme really fit the game well. It was really interesting to see the background change slightly each level?

I think the graphics are really cute and overall its really well polished \o/ I really liked the doors switching around, that part was good.

Thanks for submitting it for me to try it <3

The Door of Illusions by 2CCs 2021-10-10T21:29:01Z

10/10 spooks, would get scared again LUL

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Volcano Crisis by LeReveur 2022-04-18T22:50:45Z

My first time playing I wasn't sure what was going on and then people we're dying, even though I was placing blocks haha. But then I realized I had to continually load people to save them!

Overall I wish it maybe went faster, I got a little bored part way through, but overall it's a very interesting concept!

Well done!

Aito Deliverance by Joror 2022-04-18T22:25:28Z

There's so much more to this game than I expected! I loved being able to interact with all the things in my phone and in the world. When it gave me the option to leave or stay, I stayed and then it took me much longer than I care to admit to figure out that I should use my phone xD

But then there was texting, which was an interesting addition I didn't excpect. But I really liked the scanner and how the packages showed up in the app, that was cute. I also liked loading the van, and then also watching the packages fall over as i drove.

The driving/snycing mechanics were cool, and I'd like a game more focused on just that part and making efficient deliveries or something! Overall, well done!

Glide'r Die by adamk33n3r 2022-04-10T04:40:41Z

The voice acting sfx made me giggle haha, overall its pretty fun to try and fly things, but its so slow to start it feels xD. I just wanna speeeed down the mountain, however its still fairly fun trying to avoid the ground.

It's fairly polished looking but a few more features to show how well you're doing in game would be great!

Overall, well done!

Bubbles by vidarn 2022-04-10T05:28:35Z

This is super cute and I love all of it! The fish are really nicely done and I love the overall vibes. Scanning things really gave me subnautica vibes only nothing was scary!! I also really like the hand drawn look to all the UI aspects! Good job (:

I didn't expect the world to be so big , and I wasn't able to find everything 100% but I love the submarine and atmosphere! I'd love to be able to see a screenshot of the entire world at once, just for my curiosity haha.

Overall, really well done!

Bubbles by vidarn 2022-04-12T02:23:27Z

Ooooh, thanks a lot for posting the screenshot of the whole map!! It looks super cool, very nicely done :3 I love building out maps like this, so it's always really interesting to see. <3

I had a feeling I missed a spot around the middle \o/

Try Again by Flaterectomy 2022-04-18T22:16:00Z

This is super smooth and I really liked the dramatic way the text appeared on screen! Overall it was really smooth, but it would have been nice to have some more actual options!

Nice job!

Stalling The Dictator by 0x01F0 2022-04-18T21:40:43Z

The graphics look really nice and I thought the hand drawn intel was great xD I was pretty confused about what to do and then everything exploded. So I think I upset the man on the tv haha.

But overall, well done!

Baking Simulator 2022 by Sarah 2022-04-05T04:45:16Z

Omg thanks for trying it so quickly!! <3 I just finished updating it to add some music and I fixed a couple breaking bugs but otherwise I'm ready for sleep so I'll check out your game tomorrow @hinesite :3

I'm so glad you liked it! And I do agree, buttons kind of just HAVE to be pressed xD I had hoped to add some more chaotic elements but I ran out of time because of how big I scoped this idea \o/ BUT I PLAN TO CONTINUE WORKING ON IT :3

Baking Simulator 2022 by Sarah 2022-04-07T01:42:39Z

THANKS SO MUCH FOR TRYING OUT MY GAME EVERYONE, sorry It took me so long to get back here \o/ This weekend really turned my brain to mush haha

@naplz I definitely felt inspired by older games I used to play as well! I'm glad it worked out xD

@proxy-games I actually intended it to feel magnifying glassish haha, I was hoping to have it give the feel of like, when you have to lean in to read the recipe because there's flour in your eye or something :P The poster was to make it feel like a real workplace xD

@thegamer The gameplay was meant to be a bit more simplified initially but as I started making it I realized it was getting more and more complicated and I was fine with that xD cause its just like baking irl haha

@adamk33n3r The BU unit is meant to be confusing because I just made it up haha. It technically stands for 'Baking Units' and I forgot to *ever tell anyone that* but this is fine! Also, yes you're correct about the theme, I actually had this idea before the jam started and I tried to fit the theme in but I didnt have enough time to add my ideas, so I went with what I had now haha. I basically wanted to have the oven potentially explode everytime you used it, to a point where it would definitely explode eventually and the idea would have been to see how much you could bake before that happened, HOWEVER TIME IS A CRUEL MISTRESS.

@reulan I actually was also impressed at how well the baking process turned out in this format haha, I actually get so much enjoyement out of virtually baking, so I kind of just made this game for myself xD

@boclow I think this was my first game jam to actually have intuitive controls that didn't immediately confuse everyone (*progress*) But I also intentionlly wanted to have some math involved cause I also like math but sometimes when im baking irl I have to do some quick math and this was my best way to represent it in a game :3

@velvetlobster I changed out the music right after you tried it actually! So its a lot more soothing now :3 I can see how it would look like shrimp xD

@fis Its okay, everyone gets replaced eventually xD at least the end result gets decorated haha

@vidarn I'm glad you noticed some of the details! I spent a lot of time trying to make the atmosphere feel kitcheny xD And figuring out the weird measurements is one of my favourite parts of the game! I'm so glad I was able to get it all working with the chart on the wall and things (:

@underlig Its definitely got the enjoyable but tense vibes that I love, but Im hoping to make a post jam version that is much more chill :3

I REALLY APPRECIATE ALL THE FEEDBACK, it makes me really happy to see everyone enjoying the game! I put a lot of hours into making this happen and it ALL FEELS WORTH IT!

I'm ABSOLUTELY interested in making a post jam version as well, for anyone interested \o/

Baking Simulator 2022 by Sarah 2022-04-07T01:51:07Z

@joymagine So my main goal was to try and make it feel like someone dropped you in a kitchen you were unfamiliar with and left you with instructions to bake things. So the idea was for it to feel a bit confusing until you click around on things and find stuff and what not (: Im glad you were able to figure it out! Also BU means 'Baking Units' haha but I forgot to add that to my [HINT] list!

@vitor-milioni I actually had thought about unpacking during parts of the jam!! It also gave me similar vibes when i was working on the sorting/cupboards ingredients inside etc. So its actually really fun to just move everything around, and initially I wasnt going to have a button HOWEVER, I was worried ingredients might go missing xD so I wanted to have a failsafe and then it was just very satisfying haha. Id like to have it so that as a player you can decide what the 'put away' position of an ingredient is :3 Im actually planning to make a post jam version that is more fleshed out! I had this idea a bit before the game jam even started! Ive been doing my own art for my games for a while and this was definitely one of the more extensive arts ive done. I spent about 16 hours out of the first 20 doing just art and making sure the items looked good in game :3 it was so much work but it really paid off! (my brain is still catching back up, I couldnt even play any games last night haha)

@mrstari Thanks for trying it out \o/

@glayson I had always intended it to be played full screen because otherwise some of the text and things might be hard to read haha, but I'm not sure why the mouse would have broken! I'm glad it worked after reloading :3

@sodoj I also love to bake irl so I was really excited to play this afterwards as well haha. I ACTUALLY HAD CODED THE MINI CAMERA TO BE OPTIONAL, and completely forgot to add the button to do it now that I read your comment!!! Cause I knew it would be better to be off sometimes xD And I also wanted to make the hints/text look better but it was unfortunately one of the final things I did and I just ran out of time to make it more polished, but its absolutely on my list!

@vivyhasadream I tried to make it feel as close to baking irl as I could! I really wanted to replicate the fun I have when I bake cookies or cupcakes etc. I had hoped to make it so that the items/pans etc could be set elsewhere but I was struggling technically with it so I gave them all their places and I actually kind of ended up liking it better! It made me feel like my kitchen was organized haha I was hoping to make the measurements feel 'new' to everyone, even experienced bakers so I actually just made up my own 'Baking Units' for the game xD

@guy-girmonsky The idea I had was that I wanted a bit of confusion on what to do when you first got there, and that with time you would learn, just like if you were in a new kitchen irl! I was really trying to replicate the idea that you get dropped in a kitchen as a substitute baker xD I didnt really have enough time to flesh out the 'story' part that I wanted to have to make that more clear haha

@snowycocoon thanks for playing! i'm glad you had fun (:

@alex-stewart I hope your cake was good! I also really liked the math part, so i'm glad to see I wasn't alone on that front!!

THANKS SO MUCH FOR TRYING OUT MY GAME AND LEAVING FEEDBACK EVERYONE, I really appreciate it all <3 As I said in the above comment, i'm planning to make a post jam version for anyone interested!!

Baking Simulator 2022 by Sarah 2022-04-07T01:57:42Z

ALSO FOR ANYONE WHO IS COMMENTING --> I willlllllll play your game and rate it before the jam is over! but it might take a few days since I have a lot to get to <3 <3 <3

CABBAGE DEFENSE by frozenfire92 2022-04-05T05:33:51Z

How rude of those HUMES to come steal my cabbages!! The art is super cute and I really liked the animation when the goblin was planting or harvesting something!

The market of the game seems a bit rigged against the Goblin haha the amount of time it takes me to grow enough crops to afford to fix one tower, takes about the same amount of the time as it takes the Humes to knock one of my towers down. BUT its my own fault because I'm terrible at fighting them xD

however, when they steal you crops and run away, it's kind of hilarious haha

overall, really well done :3 its got great graphics, underlig did amazing!!! And the coding feels pretty solid too, nice job to both of you <3

Stallar by Wendel Scardua 2022-04-07T02:14:15Z

I'm amazed at the number of times I managed to 'win' while I was TRYING TO AVOID IT, I literally can't win when I try most games xD

However, the idea was really adorable and I loved how you impletemented the theme! The game itself is really cute and I love the NES feels and vibe. AND ITS ABOSLUTELY amazing that you actually even made a real NES game, so hats off to that!

The gameplay is simple, but it works, and if I was better at platformers I would have been able to go further but I'm really good at accidentally touching the goal post xD

Overall well done!!

Uchievements by Diccuric_Sigeon 2022-04-18T21:25:56Z

Aw what a cute concept, I've never even thought about having something like this. I feel like it would be a good motivational tool when youre working on a project though :3

Before The Bang by DGSpitzer 2022-04-10T06:03:02Z

I appreciate the click controls during the text opening! I like that clicking makes all the text fully appear without skipping and it looks super polished! The little loading bar was also really cute. This game is super polished and I love the idea of the two views side by side.

I love the idea that two people can play the game asymetrically! It's 3am so I don't have anyone to play with me atm but It's still fun to play both sides :3 I love typing the password in, its a super cute idea overall!

I think this would be pretty fun with a friend and working together to escape :3

Overall, really well done, a great polished experience!!

Inky Towers by Shane Gadsby 2022-04-18T21:45:00Z

I really love the concept and the idea of drawing your own shapes to get upwards. I'm incredibly bad at this game but I still had a lot of fun playing!

It's a cute theme with the lined background and I love that I can draw whatever I want. The ocean graphics are also super cute!!

Overall well done :3

Stopping Karen by Fis 2022-04-10T05:19:49Z

I love the gameplay, it's interesting to try and figure out the puzzle! However I read everything and I was still a bit confused on how to get the groceries ping to work, but once I did it's really fun!

When I hit the restart button though none of the buttons would work again. So I had to refresh the game to actually replay a level, but I did just manually try all the levels and I liked it a lot!

Great idea and overall well done!

fireme.club by velvetlobster 2022-04-10T05:12:34Z

So i'm really bad at this, however it's a really interesting idea! I could see myself getting better at it if I actually spent a bit more time. The overall look of it is interesting and I like it!

Overall it looks pretty polished and well done, nice job!

Farm Dog by Trypants 2022-04-10T05:36:40Z

The graphics are super cute!! It reminds me of crossy road haha. I found the colours on the loading screen to be a bit overwhelming on my eyes compared to the other colours but I still really liked it.

The fighting was pretty fun, but I would have liked to be able to move around a little faster. The atmosphere was nice too.

Overall, nicely done!

Garden War by Firesplash Entertainment 2022-04-10T05:47:20Z

This is a super huge game idea! But I like that it's well done and polished, however I had issues with the game loading initially. I had to actually refresh 3 times to get the game to load, and the Im Scared of Dragons button never actually worked xD

However once I got into the game, the build mode vs not build mode is really cool and I loved watching the things being built. It was a bit hard to see but overall it was really fun!

Nice job!

Garden War by Firesplash Entertainment 2022-04-10T15:48:08Z

@firesplash-entertainment yes I was on webgl!! And I was wondering what the button did the entire time haha, makes sense that it closes the game since it's red! However, I actually had recommended your game to @flyingkaida and then it got pointed out that the button just closed the game and I giggled a bit xD

Mow Bot by Seng 2022-04-18T22:13:42Z

I love everything about this game, its really cute and super fun to play! I love puzzle games already and this was a really cute themed one. I also really liked the music, it was a vibe.

I really liked the animation screen when you started a level, it looked realy smooth!

Overall, well done :3

Tilted Saloon by Vitor Milioni 2022-04-07T02:18:45Z

So far this is one of my favourite games I've played! I love how the mechanics work together, and I've actually wanted to build something similar to this in the past! (maybe we can talk more xD)

As hard as it was (cause im bad at everything) I was able to get a little bit of the way through, but I would definitely play this game more, and play more levels of it! The art is really cute, and I definitely get those pinball machine vibes from it. A screen shake to help move the ball would also be a really cool feature, especially if it was on mobile and with real motion!

I think this would play really well as a mobile game overall as well! I'm really impressed with the level of polish, nicely done!

Board to DEATH by nsadie 2022-04-18T22:36:23Z

I really love everything about this game \o/ The mood is really well done and I loved the little intro bits. The way the text came in at the very start was super cool.

I really liked the puzzles and I thought the idea for covering the board with different chess pieces was really interesting. I liked all the different mechanics that got added, it made for some intersting puzzles! I thought that the filled in space looked really nice as well.

The graphics were really well done and it sounds very fitting for what's happening in game. Overall well done!!

DATA OVERLOAD by PROJECTaroid 2022-04-18T22:45:47Z

It starts out so easy, and then becomes so fast it made me laugh haha. The graphics and sounds were on point and it was really polished in general. I really liked how the UI was across the backdrop of the game, it felt out the game but more of a part of the game!

I'm not entirely sure what made my fire rate go up, but a faster rate was super fun!

Overall, really well done!

We Need To Talk by Doot 2022-04-07T02:22:08Z

The art is so adorable!! And the vibes overall make me feel so happy, I love it. The gameplay itself is super fun and I love how you have to be quick to win. I would definitely play more and this is definitely one of my favourite games that ive played so far!

The ending is -redacted- and I -redacted- and I also really liked how the attacks had a coloured word to show what type of attack it is. I really love when games have that type of immersive design (:

Overall really well done, and I'd love to see more levels/attacks/fighters etc in this game style. Ive always wanted to make a game where you battle with words/conversation type things, and this is one of the few games ive seen that implements it really well!

Carpe Diem by Pomo 2022-04-07T02:03:55Z

I was so so bad at this game, but it really made me laugh and was super fun! I definitely fell off immediately, but that's how I found how its nice and quick to restart at least! Overall it gives me Sonic vibes because its so fast and spiny, its hard to get the hang of, but once I understood what the balls were for, things were fine haha.

The vibes were nice and im glad there was a shortcuts once you got far enough!

Overall, nicely done! And the leaderboard is a great touch, not that I'LL ever get to touch it haha. I also liked the music :)

Tactical Ghosts: The Impification by SnowyCocoon 2022-04-10T06:10:41Z

I like the graphics! They're really cute and super polished. The little noise when the character moves around is perfect and the movemnt itself is also super smooth. The grid column/row is really nice looking and overall the game looks great!

I was a bit confused about the game at first because the grids were empty for so long, but eventually some enemeis showed up! And that part was really fun trying to be fast about it \o/

Overall, well done!

Delay the CATastrophe by byazzle 2022-04-18T21:35:10Z

This game is so cute, I love it so much! The way it applies the theme is so spot on, the cats will always fight eventually. It was a bit hard to pick them up sometimes, but for the most part it was fine :3

The music was nice, but the cat sfx were a bit loud compared. The game itself it really polished, and I really like the UI that shows the kitties in the house on the sidebar!

Overall, well done!

Last Day of Serenity Orbital Station by Glayson 2022-04-10T05:51:35Z

So the changing perspective of the camera was really cool and made it feel like we were really flying through space (cause I definitely know what thats really like xD) and I liked the way the bullets went left or right if the ship moved around.

It was a bit hard to tell where I *should* shoot so I just kind of went everywhere but it seemed to work fine haha.

The graphics are clean and it looks good, overall well done!

STAY by etrealjunior 2022-04-07T02:27:30Z

I really love the art style and the recording effect is really cute! The game is super polished and really well done! I'm impressed with how it sounds overall too.

The fighting is actually really fun, and its interesting that the enemies will change their strategy based on how you fight. It was a bit difficult to get the hang of, but overall I really enjoyed it, and I THOUGHT I WAS DONE, but then noooo I had to get beaten down by the men on the roof xD

I loved whacking things with my stick and I think you did an amazing job! Very well done (:

Stranded by TheGamer 2022-04-10T04:47:56Z

I actually let the shield go down to see how long it would take (it took a long time xD) and then after my character died, I still saw the cute ending graphic which I loved!

Overall, the sounds are a bit hard on the ears, especially during the menu, however the art is really adorable!

Well done!

Un-Rooted by Denhette 2022-04-18T21:54:32Z

I love the way the characters move around, its ridiculous and a bit hard to control which is part of the fun. I was having a hard time watering it though, but then when someone ruined it, everyone blamed the poor plant xD

Overall, the graphics are cute but the music is a bit loud, but well done!

Escape Grades by naplz 2022-04-10T05:02:48Z

I had a bit of a hard time moving around, but overall nice job completing a game \o/

Foundations by 0x746564 2022-04-18T22:55:05Z

This is a really interesting twist on playing solitaire! The only real issue I had was clicking the cards, it seemed like a quick click didn't always highlight it, but a longer one did. It's not a big issue, but it made it a bit hard to move the cards around as quickly as I wanted.

Nice job making a card game, I really love card games and making them! Overall, well done!

Gods of Divine Stuff: RAgnarök by Anaxie Studio 2022-04-07T02:08:31Z

I loved that the game combines tower defense and visual novels! Those are two of my favourite genres of game and I think they worked really well together!

The art IS AMAZING, they are adorable and I love EVERY ONE OF THEM. The progression and theming of the game is also something I really like, because I love ancient history as well, so this game is spot on!

Overall, I would like to have a bit more time at the start of the level to actually place the 'towers' so that I'm not panicking, and then maybe a bit more control on the currency for placing them, but other than that I loved it!

Super polished and well done, good job!!

Majellan by Reulan 2022-04-10T05:10:50Z

There are so many things here! I love the idea that you have to ugrade at the slime shop to get better and navigate the map. The slime is so cute, I love it so much. The little animation as it lands back down is really adorable.

I also really like the little health text that shows when you take damage, that's a really nice little detail!

Overall, really well done!

darkwalker by BoClow 2022-04-10T05:15:10Z

I love that you went about things differently this time, by trying to make a game around the existing sounds. The graphics are super cute and I thin it's a really interesting idea.

Overall, well done!

Say Something by Andreia 2022-04-18T22:41:32Z

It felt really polished and smooth overall, I liked the graphics a lot too. The level was a little bit boring, but overall well done!

Protocol Delta by itsBoats 2022-04-07T02:24:55Z

This is one of my favourite games so far!! I love the mechanics and how polished the entire experience is. I like that you managed to get so many different mechanics in so smoothyl, like the lasers!

I think it's really fun that you went a different route than shooting bullets to destroy the enemies and I think it's super cool that the player reacts differently to different shaped enemies. Overall the gameplay feels really interesting and fun to learn, even though im exceptionally terrible at it haha.

For anyone who is good at these types of games, I can see how it would be really fun to play more levels with maybe more enemies or other strategies. Overall, really well done, especially for one person!! (:

Giraffe o'Clock by Kepsert 2022-04-10T05:32:04Z

I love the art style so much! The colours are also great, and I love, loveee the lil giraffe so much. It's still really cute as it gets bigger but the smol one is my favourite.

There's WAY more content here than I expected haha. The dialogue is funny and overall, it's actually really fun and kinda challenging. Also the DDR/FFR portion made me so happy xD

Nice job for getting so much done in a weekend! Well done overall :3

Knighthood by SMdG 2022-04-18T21:59:30Z

The graphics look nice and I really like the laser! It's fun to kill the enemies with it, especially multiple, however the melee fighting doesn't feel as polished. It takes a long time to kill an enemy with the laser, I'm not sure if I was doing it wrong or if it's just slow, but it would be more fun if it was faster \o/

It feels really polished, overall well done!

The Inevitable Abyss by hinesite 2022-04-10T05:06:30Z

The movement was a little wonky but it just meant that I was able to have much longer jumps haha! Nice job getting everything done without using anything super complicated! I'm really bad at platformers so I couldn't get very far at alll

Overall, well done :3

Bitboy by Proxy-Games 2022-04-10T04:56:02Z

I really love the cutscene animations, they're really smooth and polished! And the way you get tossed out the window had me giggling xD The actual game experience is also super polished and actually really fun! I love how cute the character looks when sliding :3

The extra little details, like the light turning on as you jump over and the 3D effect on the thingy we slide under are REALLY cute, nice job on things like that!

The whole thing is really cute and super fun actually, so well done!

A Nerd's Delay by hatmajaster 2022-04-18T21:49:46Z

The interpretation of the theme makes me laugh and cry at the same time cause its just too real haha. However I think it's a really cute idea to literally get pushed to grow up.

I like picking up the items and it's actually really fun! I like the music, it makes it feel really intense and the leaderboard is a nice touch!

Overall, well done!

Outrun the Darkness by FlyingKaida 2022-04-07T02:12:02Z

I like the darkening effect as your flashlight goes out.

DataWorker by sophie.s 2022-04-18T22:05:54Z

This was a really interesting ideaa, to actually get them over to the right was hard, but pretty fun to attempt. I really like the little character, it's simple but really cute!

The overall art is cute and I like it, the faces the character makes are adorable! It took me a little bit to figure it out, but its actually really fun!

Overall, well done, especially for your first entry!

Darko by Sodoj 2022-04-10T05:55:21Z

Interesting game idea! I'm really bad at it, and the skulls scare me haha but I was able to get up a few platforms xD I like the effect that happens when you reset the game and the darkness fades. It reminds me how the particles fade in Twilight Princess.

The graphics and style of the game are well done and I like the minimalistic style \o/ I also noticed that just jumping up and touching a platform from below gave me a point, even if I didn't land on top!

Overall, well done!

void Delay(Object Nuke); by DevZhrssh 2022-04-18T22:09:39Z

So I really like typing games, however I kept having to click back into the input box to type again. Which really breaks the flow and makes it hard to play, but I like the idea of it!

The music was a bit clunky sounding at the start though, but overall well done!

Arrow's Theorem by Guy Girmonsky 2022-04-10T06:06:58Z

This is a really solid gameplay idea! I like the puzzle of figuring things out, but the graphics are a bit lacking. But I liked being able to toggle on and off being able to see which colours my character would light up, that's interesting to see!

The game viewport itself, on itch wasn't sized properly though, so I had to fullscreen to be able to play, but otherwise it worked fine!

Overall, well done!

Wreck at Delta Blue by Alex Stewart 2022-04-10T06:13:14Z

Good work on completing your submission! The atmosphere is nice and it was pretty fun to move around, even though it isnt the most polished, you still did great on getting things done!

Overall, well done!

Sick Air Bro by Joymagine 2022-04-10T05:40:36Z

Nice job on completing your first ludum dare! I hope you had fun too \o/

The opening of the game looks cute, with the skiier going down the mountain, while flying through the air it was bit confusing but then I realized I was supposed to move around. The movement was pretty slow and might work better if it was a bit faster, but it did work!

Overall, well done on making a full game experience!

Last Night at Tax fraud by iMadislol 2022-04-18T22:29:02Z

I really can't deal well with games being tense and scary(everything scares me xD), but it seems well done!

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Binary Blasterz『ロボット 弾幕』 by Junber 2022-10-20T02:38:31Z

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your game! This was really cool, I love the graphics and overall style of the game, it looks amazing. The idea of teleporting to the beat is cute and visually it worked really well and fit the theme perfect. Overall, well done!

Power Surge 51 by vidarn 2022-10-20T04:32:58Z

This is really well done! It's super polished and it looks and sounds great. I liked solving the puzzles, and the animations when starting and finishing a level are perfect. The whole mood of the game fits well, and I like how you used the theme. Overall, really nice job!

PipeNightmare by Sarah 2022-10-04T02:20:41Z

@flyingkaida You can try it now!! :3 I'm so glad I was able to participate after all!!

@jag I actually really wanted to implement rounds where it started off MUCH easier and worked up to new pipes every 10 seconds, but I ran out of time to get that working, so I just made it really hard to start xD I think tomorrow I'll make an updated version to add more gradual difficulty to make it more fun to actually play! Thanks for trying it!

PipeNightmare by Sarah 2022-10-09T17:10:45Z

THANKS SO MUCH FOR PLAYING OUR GAME AND LEAVING AMAZING FEEDBACK, sorry it took me so long to get back to you all <3 I will get to most of your games sometime this week, although I know my teammates have been out rating games as well :) Due to the hurricane and all the damages to our house, I've had a really busy week and just haven't had as much time as I wanted for playing LD games, but I WILL DEFINITELY GET TO THEM ALL :3

@sam-the-man I was really happy with the outcome given all the time and power constraints across the weekend haha. The stress of the leaks ended up matching the stress I was feeling in real life, as my roof had blown off and one of our ceilings caved in and leaked A LOT!

@arkinrev It was definitely the most difficult circumstances i've ever had for a game jam! We only had one laptop and one monitor to use. Luckily our artist lived in another country and wasn't affected by the hurricane!

@human-writes-code I'm sure you are amazing at games!! It is indeed, INCREDIBLY difficult haha. I unfortunately was so tired and exhausted from all the things going on, that I didn't really play test it to see the true difficulty. After placing pipes all weekend myself, I forgot that others would need more time xD

@mrmaico The hurricane happened the weekend before the jam, but our power was out for 10 days! It came back on the day of submissions, mid day on Monday. Luckily, everyone was okay but it was hurricane Fiona, and it hit really hard unfortunately. I can see how a trackpad would make this really difficult, I had actually hoped to get some keyboard shortcuts in for grabbing a piece and placing it and what not, but I never got a chance haha.

@triangletriangle The art was amazing, I don't usually work on a team but this time given that there was only one laptop in our house (I live with frozenfire) and so we worrked together! But the perk of this meant that I also got to work with our artist friend, who usually just works with frozenfire. When it came to balancing, I was just so tired when I submitted that I completely forgot to do it xD So I understand that it's insanely hard to beat haha, but it can still be really satisfying at times when its longer between new pipes.

@sterco-raro We did basically make the same game!! Great idea haha, but your game was definitely a tad more broken, but also easier xD Ours was unintentionally way too difficult haha.

@angrybeard The RNG wasnt exactly as I had wanted it to turn out. I wanted to check and make sure the drain was a reasonable distance from the starting pipe (the first at least) but I had some issues with the pathfinding it took me about 2 hours longer than I wanted and I had to cut that part out sadly. So sometimes its SUPER easy to beat haha

@fever When I was making it and testing it, I had the pipes coming a lot slower and it's really satisfying to make a longer connected pipe. So I wish I had been able to get that to translate better to the final version, but I actually might make a better, post jam version because we had a lot of fun playing it :)

@steamdr4gon @thatzniko @eugenik thanks for playing :3

@jhax I defintely wasn't kidding haha, it didn't feel as difficult for me because I spent all weekend playing it and testing it so I didn't mean for it to be such a mean game at times xD But our house was also leaking from the hurricane and so the theming of the game really hit home for me :P

@waterfowler My actual game idea was that there would be rounds, and each round would get progressively more difficult. Except I focused on the gameplay and everything else that wasn't the rounds, and by the time I got to the end I just didn't have enough time. We only had probaly 50-60% of the time we normally would have due to power constraints, but I really want to make another version that properly implements all that. The art was done by our amazing artist and the sounds managed to fit in perfectly (:

PipeNightmare by Sarah 2022-10-09T17:22:33Z

(IM GONNA SAY THIS PART AGAIN FOR EVERYONE WHO DIDN'T GET @'D the first time) THANKS SO MUCH FOR PLAYING OUR GAME AND LEAVING AMAZING FEEDBACK, sorry it took me so long to get back to you all <3 I will get to most of your games sometime this week, although I know my teammates have been out rating games as well :) Due to the hurricane and all the damages to our house, I’ve had a really busy week and just haven’t had as much time as I wanted for playing LD games, but I WILL DEFINITELY GET TO THEM ALL :3

@christopher-hedge Initially it was going to be a bit easier leaking wise, and there weren't supposed to be so many. My intention was that if a pipe was connected to the drain, its leaks wouldn't matter or something. But I ran into some bugs in my pathfinding due to exhaustion and I ended up switching it so that every pipe had to be 100% complete. But since that wasn't my original idea, we didn't have the art for end caps for the pipes or something like that and it was too late for new art sadly!

@faust-mi the water filling mechanic is legit one of my favourite parts of the game! It was something I wanted to try and kind of the basis for the whole game idea :)

@theekinnox I also feel like I could play it a long time! And I actually started work on remaking it better, so that it has less bugs and the actual rounds like I wanted to implement!

@mralcoro The panic of the game is real, and honestly depending on the RNG it can be super fun although I know sometimes the RNG makes it insanely difficult.

@thanks4allthefish The hurricane happened the weekend before the jam and left us without power for almost 10 days! We didn't have power until the submission monday, and we had to use a generator on Saturday and Sunday haha. But it was worth it! If I had of had the full weekend to work on it, I think I could have fully completed my idea. However, I was running out of time when it came to the very end and making an end game/end screen was rushed in the final hour haha, but at least it HAD an ending xD I was worried we wouldn't get it in.

@vphyre Its really difficult to play xD But the art is amazing :3

@dae-udain The RNG can really make or break the game! I had wanted to get a little more control over the distance between the drain and first starting pipe, but I ran into some issues when I got to that part, and then I ran out of time after fixing the bugs haha. One of my very first ideas for the game was also to have some keyboard shortcuts to help with everything, but I never got a chance to get that in. Maybe in the next version :)

@cobrajs I didn't actually spend any time balancing it at all, because by the time I finished making it work, my brain was so tired I forgot xD And I didn't truly realize how difficult it was after playing it myself straight for two days. However I meant to have a bar over the leaks to show their progress and I entirely forgot xD

@vidarn I definitely wanted to have a round system and my actual idea was to see how many rounds you could get through, like an endless mode but I never got a chance to truly get the rounds implemented so I had to cut it down to just a single repeatable level haha.

@asue the game definitely lives up to its name xD

@actuallythemoon No I'm sure you were amazing at it! It's just really difficult xD But at least it looked amazing :P

@rafale25 I had intentions to fix the RNG a bit and make the distance between the starting pipe and the drain more reasonable, but timing said not today xD

@chase-of-bass I'm SO glad everyone is okay! The hurricane actually hit us the week before and left us without power for 10 days! It came back on submission day and I had power for the final 8 hours of the jam! But i'm solidly impressed with my team for all the work (:

@etrealjunior Thanks for playing! I'll definitely play your game before the time is up (: I hope to soon make a post jam version that includes an actual puzzle/story mode!

PipeNightmare by Sarah 2022-10-09T17:24:34Z

(IM GONNA SAY THIS PART AGAIN FOR EVERYONE WHO DIDN'T GET @'D the first time OR THE SECOND TIME) THANKS SO MUCH FOR PLAYING OUR GAME AND LEAVING AMAZING FEEDBACK, sorry it took me so long to get back to you all <3 I will get to most of your games sometime this week, although I know my teammates have been out rating games as well :) Due to the hurricane and all the damages to our house, I’ve had a really busy week and just haven’t had as much time as I wanted for playing LD games, but I WILL DEFINITELY GET TO THEM ALL :3

@mdotedot That was a bug I never actually encountered myself! It wasn't until after it got submitted that it was uncovered, and I won't lie... I haven't been able to figure out why it's broken haha.

@euler-moises I was so inspired by the old pipe dream and I wanted to take that and mash it with the chaos of the theme and thus we created the most difficult game ever xD

@flyingkaida I'm SO IMPRESSED with how the game turned out based on how little time we actually got to work on it. Especially given that I was the only one coding, due to only having one laptop xD

PipeNightmare by Sarah 2022-10-09T17:27:06Z

ALSO, A HUGE SHOUTOUT TO OUR ARTIST: @underlig THANKS FOR MAKING BEAUTIFUL ART FOR OUR GAME (:

And another HUGE SHOUTOUT TO @frozenfire92 for helping me debug and make food while the power was out. Also for letting me use the only laptop that had power (:

GREAT JOB TEAM <3

PipeNightmare by Sarah 2022-10-22T13:42:00Z

@thesmellofoxygen I had thought about weighting the pieces but I didn't think of it until too late sadly. But I agree that it would have made it a bit more playable :)

@stephen-kyranakis That was another thing that was never intended to be that way, my plan all along was to randomize the drain but have it be based on the starting pipe positions. But I kinda forgot about that until the end and then it was just too late haha

@aggrathon My real game idea was to have levels and each one get progresssively more difficult but I ran into some bugs resetting things and so in the last 20 minutes of the jam, I just turned it into a single level and although it wasn't what I wanted, I'm still happy with how it turned out :)

@unidaystudio Our artist did an amazing job! I don't normally have an artist, so I'm still amazed haha

Thanks for playing!!

Destroy Blocks by mdotedot 2022-10-20T02:05:33Z

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your game! The sounds got a bit repetitive after playing for even a little however it was pretty fun. I wish you could rotate pieces though!

Overall, well done!

Kill Team 10 - Badasses On Patrol by Human Writes Code 2022-10-20T02:26:40Z

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your game! This is a really cool idea! I had a lot of fun playing it, I was confused at first because I didn't realize I had to click on the icons in the corner, but other than that it was really clear! Really nice job on the theme as well, it works perfect :3

Overall, well done!

Lys by VPhyre 2022-10-20T04:24:41Z

This is a really cute game! I love the art and the characters, I think it's super cool that you were able to get the dialogue into the game as well. The puzzles and moving the mirrors around is fun to figure out as well. Overall, really nice job!

Dr. Word's Machine by Kaish 2022-10-20T02:02:24Z

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your game! It sounds really great, and I love all the SFX. Visually its super polished and clean. I was pretty confused about what to do until I learned about functional pockets (what are those?) and then it was quite interesting! I really like the concept and how polished it is :3

Overall, well done!

It Hunts! by arkinrev 2022-10-20T02:22:23Z

Really well done on the atmosphere of the game, it worked well. I had a hard time navigating around, the camera seemed to be a bit locked but maybe I was doing it wrong. Also I read to watch for the alien and was immediately scared, and I noped out really quickly when aliens showed up xD Overall nice job!

Bad-to-the-bone Tyrone in the Apocalypse Zone by LeoCeballos 2022-10-20T02:19:22Z

It took me a few seconds to move at first and so I wasn't close enough to the rock to take shelter when the timer ran out. And the meteors scared me so much haha. But the game looks great, and overall its a nice entry, good job!

Gravity by Asue 2022-10-20T02:14:04Z

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your game! I love this so much, the pixel art is amazing and the planets look really good. It's also somewhat satisfying to smack into a planet, even if it brings death :3 I love the gravity mechanics as well, nice job on that, and the general vibes with the sounds are perfect as well.

Overall, well done! Definitely one of my favourite entries!

Robo-Clash 1999 by JHax 2022-10-20T03:56:05Z

This is a really interesting idea, I would love to see a path of where I might end up, but its a good concept. It would be fun with a real second player :3 I found the audio to be a bit hard on the ears at the volume but overall nice job!

BackroomsBreak - Alpha version test v0.1 by Eugenik 2022-10-20T04:18:45Z

It's very spooky and I don't really like scary things so it was hard to get anywhere haha. Well done though!

Sailing through life by Chase of Bass 2022-10-20T02:08:44Z

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your game! This is super cute!! Very peaceful as well, which I love. It's a relaxing and cute story, really cool to get done in a game jam :3

Overall, well done!

Sweet Seconds by Jag 2022-10-05T18:49:58Z

I really love the cute graphics and it sounds super relaxing. However the game is not relaxing xD There is a lot going on but it's really fun and I love the theming of it. I was a bit confused on where or what to click initially, but it all makes sense once you get playing.

For the sake of getting through the levels a bit easier, I found it took a while to get 10 stars, but unlocking the later levels is really worth it to see the new foods available! Overall I really like it, well done!

SENSATIONS by etrealjunior 2022-10-20T02:06:57Z

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your game! This game really does make you feel kinda drunk xD I thought the graphics were cute but a bit simple. The jumps are really hard, and I'm really bad at platformers, so of course I couldn't beat it but I watched others beat it so its FINE haha..right? xD

Overall, well done!

OH! STUPID ENGINEER by ThatzNiko 2022-10-20T03:53:47Z

I love the art and style of the game, it looks really nice. It's a bit complicated looking but overall nice job :)

Drone TD by Stefan B. 2022-10-20T02:28:36Z

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your game! This was really fun, I love tower defense games. Flying around was really fun as well, but some of the SFX were a bit too loud and hurt the ears, but overall, well done!

Room Again by SofiGnedova 2022-10-20T04:07:56Z

This was a really cool game, the atmosphere was perfect and I love how the theme was implemented. It took me a bit to figure out how to save an object, but once I had that it was great. The graphics are really amazing and I love the art style as well :) The puzzles are interesting and having to do things quickly makes it a bit tricky as well. Great job on the whole thing, really well done!

Hampter Quest by not-tomo 2022-10-20T04:26:03Z

Interesting way to use the theme, I like it! I would love to see some more games, overall well done :)

Slimebonker by Angrybeard 2022-10-20T02:36:21Z

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your game! I like the concept of the game and how the battle just automatically happens, it did sort of turn into me just frantically trying to buy as many health potions as I could haha. But it's quite fun and a really cool idea! Overall, well done!

The Well by FlyingKaida 2022-10-20T01:56:28Z

I was confused at first with what was happening during the black screen, maybe some text to explain that youre moving places would be helpful there.

It's A Match! by cobrajs 2022-10-20T04:28:59Z

This is hilariously cute, I really love it. Definitely one of my favourite games this jam :) It's super cute when new matches show up, when they burn out and when they do anything in general at all xD It's quite difficult to match them up in such little time and it turned to chaos so fast. The sounds work well, and overall it's really well done!

Dragon Breeder by TriangleTriangle 2022-10-20T02:33:08Z

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your game! This is one of my favourite games so far! Even though I took way too long to figure out the temperature mechanics and lost too many lil eggs. But once I got the hang of it, it's reallllly cute to bring a baby up to the nest, and that makes it all worth it haha. Managing the fires and not breaking the eggs turns out to be a bit stressful but really fun. I loved played it :3 Overall, really well done!

Drag & Box by MrAlcoro 2022-10-20T04:16:54Z

This was amazing, I really love the idea overall. It's super cute looking, although some more detailed contents would have been nice as well :) It's really well done and polished and it was super fun to play, and fun to try and organize things into boxes. The hecticness of the quick orders make it quickly turn to chaos but overall, really well done! This is definitely one of my favourite games this jam!

My 1st Game: Water Ball Challenge 10S by Thanks4AllTheFish 2022-10-20T04:21:28Z

The way the balls bounce make it surprisingly fun haha, and actually hilarious to see. Nice job on your first game, it's well done! I like the idea that you have to quickly brute force your way to the target, interesting use of the theme!

Escape the Island by john-wuller 2022-10-20T04:02:25Z

Nice job, the game felt really smooth and picking up the metal was somewhat satisfying haha. Overall I wasn't able to escape because I keep falling in :P but nice job!

Aberration by waterfowler 2022-10-20T03:58:12Z

This is a really cute concept! Super simple and the graphics work really well, its nice and polished feeling as well :3 It's pretty fun to play as well, really nice job!

10 seconds old by TheEkinnox 2022-10-20T04:10:51Z

I really like the way the theme was implemented, the different character sprites were really cute! I liked all the different abilities and it was really interesting to go between ages to fight things. Also the sound the baby makes it really adorable! Overall, really well done!

Pipe Nightmare by sterco_raro 2022-10-20T02:34:03Z

We basically DID make the same game, that's great haha. Overall it's a bit buggy but still a completed entry, so well done on that front! It looks nice as well :3

Cantina Spirit by Fever 2022-10-20T02:42:40Z

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your game! I gave away a lot of free drinks before I realized I was giving away free drinks apparently haha. However, the gameplay is fun and I like how simple it is. Although sometimes the graphics didn't sort properly, the music was great and kept it very upbeat and lively! Overall, well done!

Every 10 Seconds I Find New And Exciting Ways To Hate Myself by ActuallyTheMoon 2022-10-20T02:11:56Z

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your game! As others have mentioned, the mood of the game is pretty dark, and not what I was expecting based on the graphics. But the art is super cute, and I love the old school feel of it. Overall, well done!

Run hunt repeat by Rafale25 2022-10-20T02:10:36Z

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your game! These kinds are games are always fun to play even though I'm terrible at them. It's super simple looking, but it works well enough. Overall, nice work!

LD52 — Harvest

It was all for the Tuna by rosypenguin 2023-01-27T05:02:20Z

This is absolutely my favoutite game this jam, WELL done! It's soooo cute, it's amazing haha. I love how polished it feels and moving around in the boat is fun. Fishing itself can be a little difficult, I wish I had more energy because I was so bad at it!

But I also love all the different types of tuna, cute details! The hints/tutorial are also really smooth and well done, overall great job!

The Cactilogue by Sarah 2023-01-10T00:26:51Z

@tristan-doell @arscene the star one could be a bit difficult at times! Compared to the other easier one, it was meant to be harder and had to be fairly exactly lined up haha. Thanks for playing \o/

@avi for the star, its meant to be misaligned because thats part of the puzzle of getting it to line up, I know 100% it does line up, and I actually intentionally offset it :3 And there does seem to be a bug with the cirle game in that it will rarely fail even when its perfectly in the middle, I only discovered that AFTER I submitted haha, and then I also noticed a strange visual bug that also causes some weird issues, but unfortunately I didn't encounter those bugs during the weekend ):

In the screenshot of the circle, the bar is over the visul bug (you can see its a bit messy looking on the sides) and that part shouldnt be green at all sadly. Its not delayed I dont think, but more you just have to press it a bit ahead of time because of the speed, it was really hard twice as fast so I slowed it down!

And then lastly, I had trouble getting the names to appear properly, 'Random Cactus' was my placeholder and I just ran out of time to go back and get it working, but there was supposed to be a more unique name, and also there was supposed to be a whole page to view which flowers and cacti you had seen, but I might work on it more this week!

Thanks for the feedback <3

The Cactilogue by Sarah 2023-01-10T21:40:37Z

Ive been testing out some other shapes with the skill checks to try and make the game easier (ill hopefully update it soon and have both versions available) but this should help to visually show what I mean about the star intentially being misaligned \o/ NewSkillCheck.PNG in case youre interested to see \o/ @avi

The Cactilogue by Sarah 2023-01-11T22:11:42Z

@frozenfire92 I'm realllly tempted to keep making an extended version where you can make hyrbid catci \o/

@fancyreckless The planting and all that was never intended to be that way, but I just ran out of time and never ever changed it from my testing stuff haha. So luckily it worked ~okay~ I also would have liked to get a few more mini games in there because that was my main idea alongside growing things. But i'm happy with it :3

Thanks for playing \o/

Nightmare Containment by frozenfire92 2023-01-11T22:06:43Z

The map IS HUGE omg haha, but I love the lighting, it really adds to the overall mood of the game. It makes it feel more spooky and broken, and the actual monster is REALLY CUTE!!! I MEAN VERY SCARY! The map looks really nice, it's very detailed and it takes a while to get around.

Also nice job on the task completion part, it's interesting to try and figure out how to win, but it's definitely a bit challening! Overall, well done!

Nightmare Containment by frozenfire92 2023-01-29T01:43:32Z

That sounds like it will be really fun! @frozenfire92 I can't wait to see it!

Initial Harvester by profan 2023-01-27T04:51:37Z

This was really fun, one of my favourite jam games! I love how it shows how quickly you're harvesting, that was cute, overall the graphics are great too! Nice job!

Even though I'm not supposed to, it's actually somewhat satisfying to hit the rocks haha!

Cake Sweeper by johnnysix 2023-01-27T03:59:13Z

Interesting concept! The art is really cute, and it sounds nice as well. I did have a bit of difficulty with movin g in the correct directions though, overall well done!

Virens by Dis0rder 2023-01-27T05:13:22Z

I like the idea of going back and forth between screens but it was a bit painfully slow! The button to move back and forth wasn't always working for me either. I think having the tools on the planting screen would have made things a bit smoother, but it was still very satisfying to grow things :3 The whole vibe of the game was nice, with the music! Overall, really nice job!

Hex-Yield by AndideBob 2023-01-27T05:24:12Z

This is a cute game! Really polished and lots of combinations of tiles to unlock and discover! Although it was a bit slow to get started, I really love the art and effects, great job overall!

Mustered by arron-fowler 2023-01-27T04:30:18Z

This was an interesting concept, but I did have a bit of a hard time reading the text when the game wasn't full screen cause it was a bit blurry. But overall, I like card games and it was fun! Well done!

Deck of plants by FancyReckless 2023-01-11T22:04:41Z

This was really done, nice job! I love how polished it is and the music is great too. I love how fast paced it is and it's really satisfying to grow things haha. I love card/deck games in general, but I would definitely play more of this haha. Well done!

Hayday by Avi 2023-01-11T22:00:08Z

For such a short time span this is really nice! At first I was wondering what was going to hurt me haha, but then I saw the crows, it would have been fun to have more crows to avoid. But really well done!

Folk Farm by VPhyre 2023-01-27T05:09:35Z

Cute intro story! I had a bit of a hard time reading it without full screen thought. But the attacking was interesting, even if i'm terrible at it! But for only having a bit of time for each of you to put into it, it's still well done!

Disarm Protocol by Starlet 2023-01-27T04:08:33Z

This looks really amazing! I love the little character and the UI windows are also really well done! There are so many different mechanics going on in here, impressive to get them all done, great job!

Harvest Harvest Crush by rjerez192 2023-01-27T04:37:13Z

The graphics as a whole are perfect and I love the unique combination of racing and farming. It controls really well, and feel good as you make turns, really well done! Definitely my favourite game after playing all the games I've played <3

I would defintely play this more!

Harvest "Harvest Simulator" Simulator by spyranteros 2023-01-27T05:15:48Z

The game itself is really interesting haha, I love the graphics and overall feel but it was CONFUSING to figure out the controls haha. But it's very satisfying to splat the devs, I love it, well done!

This was actually really great haha, it was fun to move around and eat cookies. The animations are also really well done! Nice job!

They Hide in the Fields by Hawkin 2023-01-27T04:18:13Z

Since I'm not good (too scared to play xD) at horror games I wasn't really able to play much but I did walk around a bit before being too stressed and exiting! The sounds, mood and vibes overall are definitely spooky, you did great on that! It also looks really nice and walking through the corn was satisfying (:

There Was A Day by T90. 2023-01-27T04:59:14Z

The game overall is a bit lacking in interactivity, just reading and clicking can get a bit boring, but nice job!

VR Farm Life by FlyingKaida 2023-01-27T05:03:26Z

I don't have an occulus so I can't even try to try the game.

Glean the Luminescent by jcg 2023-01-27T04:56:34Z

This is a really solid game! The only issue I had with it was the lighting/shadows sometimes made it difficult to see things. Otherwise it was really fun, I love tower defense and it was really smooth and polished. My favourite part was the sfx of the collecting and delivering the power though, well done!

Celestial Wheatfields - (Roguelike Farming Game) by ludovic-moge 2023-01-27T04:53:37Z

Energy Harvest by SlantyOJ 2023-01-27T04:02:42Z

I like being able to control both balls at once, but it made the camera do some weird things when they got close together! Which made it a bit hard to see, but otherwise, it's fairly fun! Well done!

Kobold Fishing by Gawain Doell 2023-01-11T21:56:15Z

The lil yip and yap SFX were so cute haha, I love them! I was confused at first but once I figured it out, it's fun to sail around haha. But the sounds make it amazing, nice job!

LD53 — Delivery

The Snack Shack by Sarah 2023-05-03T23:06:48Z

@jag Before this jam even started I wanted to make this idea, so it worked out nicely when the theme was something close enough haha. I wanted to have more complexity with grabbing ingredients to fill the machines before you could use them but I ran out of time (of course)

@edenic666 I didn't really get a chance to properly make a tutorial like I hoped, so it's definitely a bit confusing at the start haha

@aivaxela Apparently Deluxe Burgers are where it's at, which makes sense really :P I actually had wanted to have all the burners on the grill be available but I ran out of time and we only ended up with one

@sodoj I also love cooking games and my main game that i'm working on is also about food, so this was a nice little side project haha. I'm pretty bad at UI/Menu layouts in general, but I'm always trying to improve \o/

@cmdpancakes I have a lot of art details that were meant to be more interactable and just ended up being background haha, but it worked out

@jaydubbyasee @daganglyghoul thanks for playing!

@velvetlobster I'm actually not sure HOW you managed to do that haha BUT to get the bags to appear you have to add something to your menu with the Edit Menu button. And when you get an order, a bag will appear on that counter to fill!

Thanks for playing everyone!

Mother's Day: Requiem by jaydubbyasee 2023-05-03T22:54:27Z

This is hilarious and I love the art as well! I actually ALMOST made a game about delivery babies as well! But I decided to go for food instead haha. HOWEVER, well done, this is really fun and its cute haha just don't think too hard about dropping babies :P

Message Delivered by velvetlobster 2023-05-03T22:57:46Z

I like the setup and layout of the game. Some of the icons/visuals were a bit jarring to look at but overall it all worked and it was interesting to see what information I could find. Well done!

Derilicity Delivery by Jag 2023-05-03T22:59:32Z

I tried to run it but it didn't work for me, however it looks really nice and I love driving games. I'm not sure why it wouldn't run properly.

Derilicity Delivery by Jag 2023-05-03T23:35:42Z

@jag it just said something like it couldnt run, it didn't seem very specific

Commutator by Sodoj 2023-05-03T22:52:34Z

This is a really interesting idea and it's super cool that you got it working. I literally have never imaged something like a game running in paint, but great job getting it done!

Beak and Bundle by Aivaxela 2023-05-03T22:50:35Z

LD54 — Limited Space

This was a great first ludum dare entry! Nice job, the world looks nice and I like the mushrooms a lot. Well done \o/

The Cauldron Coven Coalition by Sarah 2023-10-03T20:04:58Z

@hinesite @kath-art-ic thanks for checking it out, even though there wasn't anything there yet! I finally got back to getting the build up and updating the post! So the game is now available :)

The Cauldron Coven Coalition by Sarah 2023-10-03T20:56:05Z

@furano Most of the features I wanted to add just didn't get added because I ran out of time. Since I had to learn a whole new engine I was set back a lot haha. We just didn't have time to add the feedback for attacks, or a screen that shows how the elements react etc. Initially I wanted to unlock more witches of each type and have actual strategy involved, so a bigger map made sense. But since I spent a whole day working on generating a map, I didn't want to make it smaller xD

Since we have a dedicated artist, the amount of art is entirely unrelated to the code :) He was able to make a lot more than we were able to get implemented! We had plans to do some AOE spells as well

For now the only real way to tell, is by looking at how much damage an attack does to an HP bar above the enemy

@soda @mightystoosh @bellicapelli @burrowbling thanks for trying the game \o/

The Cauldron Coven Coalition by Sarah 2023-10-04T00:09:07Z

@lexyvil Unfortunately you weren't supposed to be able to place right close around the hut but due to a bug that i'm still confused about, I just wasn't able to make it happen (you can even place like, right in the middle of the hut and it doesnt sort right xD) Im not sure why you didnt unlock the 8th witch, its based on how many mobs you kill

@phillips-albright I definitely agree about the UI, I hate how many times I have to click haha but the panel was initally supposed to have some settings to change before you could place the witch. And there was supposed to be more than 8 witches as well. If I had known I was going to go with 1 of each type, I would have had it along the top bar or something nicer (:

@savolae the game was originally meant to be all on one screen, but since ....I couldn't quite figure out the camera the way I wanted it didn't work out haha

@hinesite If you just hit 6:00AM you win! It happens a bit suddenly, I should have waited for all mobs to die before we won, but you know xD I didn't even think about how small the button was in the build until I uploaded it and then it was too late haha

Thanks for trying it out :3 I absolutely have some ideas for a post jam version with the Spell Fusion ideas implemented!

The Cauldron Coven Coalition by Sarah 2023-10-04T16:43:38Z

@oznarox The UI is setup that way because the game was supposed to have more options and settings before placing a witch. So in the end, I ran out of time and just had to leave the panel the way it was. There was never supposed to be a limit on the witches, and you were supposed to be able to click on a witch to bring that panel back up. I had hoped to make all the buttons bigger but I forgot haha

@ayxs I actually just learned last night that the UI DOES NOT WORK at allll on a bigger screen resolution haha. Since I'm just learning to use godot for the game jam, I hadn't quite figured out how to change around with the window size. So I didn't make the UI scalable, but I should be able to fix that so that anyone can try it on any screen resolution

thanks for trying it out, despite all the issues! I barely managed to get the game playable without any breaking bugs at the end, so Im pretty happy with that state of it actually xD

Villaggio by jvolonte 2023-10-03T21:03:53Z

Ahhh this idea is super cute! I like the strategy behind it and the music is really nice and relaxing

Calves of the Braves by Furano 2023-10-03T20:59:59Z

This is really cool! I love the atmosphere, and the art. It looks really polished overall! It's quite fun to fight haha and I think the circle closing in is a really nice feature. The game hits the theme right on the head.

Overall this is really well done, nice job! I'll have to come back later and try to two player version haha

Out of Spacetime by bellicapelli 2023-10-03T21:05:39Z

Cute inspiration, and nice looking game! I like the colours and mood, nice job!

LD55 — Summoning

Wonder Woods by Sarah 2024-04-17T21:48:59Z

FIRST OF ALL, THANKS SOOO MUCH FOR PLAYING AND LEAVING FEEDBACK <3 This is one of my most ambitious LD projects I think and had to cut out a big part of my idea to make it work in time.

SECOND, IM SO SORRY IT WAS SO HECTIC. It wasn't meant to be THAT hectic, I FORGOT TO CHANGE MY TESTING VARIABLES so the world was decaying very fast since I had been testing end game stuff. It's meant to be about 10x slower haha so there should be more time to wander around and understand the farm layout.

Initially I wanted it to be half farming/gathering from your farm and half about making food in your kitchen and THE FOOD was meant to the offerings to the Goddess. But I ran out of time because of a few issues on Sunday afternoon and I decided to cut it and polish the other parts instead. And you can just restore vitality at any time because I ran out of time to add a cooldown to the spell (:

If I could have gotten the kitchen working, I would have had more machines to process flour, sugar, butter etc and then had recipes to prepare. I'm actually going to add that to a post jam version if anyone is interested in that!

I also REALLY struggle with UI/UX, so I'm sorry about those issues haha I'm not sure how to make it better, maybe I could have hotkeys for each spell directly instead. You can hotkey through the hotbar with 1-9/0 and with R/F so I probably got too used to it during the jam.

@frozenfire92 @natablanco @lenny-rudeberg Thanks for playing :3

@domenixius I REALLY WANTED TO MAKE CAKES AND PIES ACTUALLY, that was my original idea. And I also wanted to have a scene at the end with the Goddess again, but time really hurt me this time 'round

@stefan-funke I wanted to have the seeds be collectable from around the farm but I ran out of time ): but great idea on a replay button, I didn't even think of that haha

@lobbienjonsjii Each type of produce does give a slightly different amount, for example she loves Starfruit the most, and it only takes 10 starfruit offered to win, vs offering 500 of the fruits out of barrels, because theyre each only worth 1! Everything else is somewhere in between (:

@cody-holt It feels empty because I wasn't able to get the second stage of gameplay in, the Recipe crafting, which would have combined all the things you gathered/farmed and the food would have been the offerings. I just ran out of time as always haha

@nicekot I was hoping to add a little mailbox that would have a tutorial but I knew early on I would have time and I meant to add a help page with instructions/controls etc but I FORGOT UNITL JUST NOW that I didn't do that!

@emiliabea I'm sorry about the colours being hard to read! I really struggle with choosing the right colours, it's something I need to get better at!

THANKS AGAIN FOR THE FEEDBACK, it really helps <3 I'm sorry you all had a bit more of a chaotic start than intended!

Wonder Woods by Sarah 2024-04-21T23:53:27Z

@alexandru-barbanoua Thanks for playing! Stardew has definitely been an inspiration!

@nsadie I really wanted to add some progression! But I didn't have a chance and rather than just start with 3 seeds I figured I would make it more sandbox-y for the jam and give all the seeds! But in my post jam version, it'll ramp up a lot more gradually!

@vphyre I was thinking about the last ludum dare theme a lot the whole weekend actually!

@m-kusy Yess, the time constraints really got me, but since I was planning to complete the game after the jam anyway, I sorta let it slide haha

@sarafilipa Thanks! I didn't sleep from Sunday afternoon till the end of the jam to get it finished and I STILL didn't get everything done haha

@ilbini I know exactly what you mean! xD I told myself over and over I would build all the mechanics before making the world pretty... I didn't listen to my own advice haha And then I told myself I would get my main cooking mechanic done after the farming, but I got distracted by cute cows and chickens xD HOWEVER, I am happy to say that at this point, a week later I have added the entire cooking mechanic and you can make cakes and pies in the post jam version (its not on itch yet but it will be!)

@erlioniel The art is definitely not AI generated, it's just art that I own but didn't intially make. I spent at least half the jam altering, editing and redrawing the art to fit into my game, as well as adding plenty of new animations but since it's not my own base art, I would never opt in to the category. This is my 20th+ jam, I've made plenty of my own art before, but this jam I was very inspired by a tileset I owned already.

Thanks for playing everyone! After the voting period is over I'll be releasing a POST JAM VERSION with my original vision of the game.

Wonder Woods by Sarah 2024-10-10T00:11:07Z

Ive been working on a post jam Wonder Woods game THE ENTIRE TIME SINCE THE LAST JAM, ITS COMING \o/

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Tiny Baking Simulator by Sarah 2024-10-10T00:01:18Z

@rachelftech @frozenfire92 @halogen Thanks for playing!

@sevadusk I had hoped to get some *actual* gameplay in but sadly I ran out of time (of course) xD This was my first time attempting an automated/simulation type game and it was a lot more involved that I had hoped haha

@scrumblob Sometimes the fairies will wait on a missing ingredient but they will keep going when it becomes available! But I do love to make less traditional games that have more chill/cozy elements to them!

@saprina289 I was trying to think of ways to make it quicker but due to time I wasn't able to get multiple fairies to work on a task together, so ultimately that slowed things down a lotttt

@nickhellquist I'm pretty bad at UI design so I could have done a better job of making it clear you could zoom in! I spent a few too many hours working on camera controls and had to abandon my original hope of having an in game magnifying glass to see the fairies, and not have them visible in the zoomed out view.

Thanks for the feedback \o/ keep on making cool games :3

Creepy Crawly Mansion by frozenfire92 2024-10-09T23:34:38Z

I love how polished and cute it is! The lock picking game is really fun, I wish there was more that! Overall well done!

Critter Conflict by SpiRiTs 2024-10-09T23:24:52Z

I love the art style and music! It's a bit slow to get through the intro though, so something to speed up the text would be really nice. I'm terrible at fighting the monsters but the world is super cute! I wasn't able to beat a level, but that's likely due to my terrible skills. Nice job!

Black Harvest by creativ4eg 2024-10-10T00:05:10Z

The creatures are so cute, I feel so awful every time I get one killed. But the red light seemed to aggressively know where I was going to click haha. Overall this is well done, nice work!

Ultimate Mug Ball: Desktop Edition III by Jahwffrey 2024-10-09T23:48:23Z

This concept is really cool, I loved setting up the map. It was weird competing against myself because I didn't know which side to root for. The commentary made me laugh and it was a great addition, overall well done!

Shrink by Halogen 2024-10-09T23:52:56Z

Cute entry! I like the idea of picking up potions, but timers always stress me out. I did find the movement a bit too floaty and I fell off twice when it felt like I should jumped, but overall nice work!

Mon - Shared Pet Simulator by Andreia 2024-10-09T23:29:18Z

This game is super cute! Since I was playing it at the same time as someone else, we were able to pet the mon together, and that's great. Nice work on making a different experience than most entries! I also really loved the music and art, it had a great atmosphere! Nice work!

PettingCatsTogether.png

Skyfall by Sevadusk 2024-10-09T23:19:40Z

Overall this feels super polished and well done! I like the vibes of exploding other smol creatures, even though I'm *really* bad at it :3 But the colours and flashy-ness reminds me geometry wars and its great. The art is simple and cute and works pretty well, nice job \o/

Tiny Takeout by Saprina289 2024-10-09T23:21:30Z

I like the vibes of this a lot! Nice choice on a food based game haha, I like the art for all the little treats! The alien sounds did scare me a bit since they were louder than the music, but I'm pretty jumpy haha. Nice work overall!

Would You Still Love Me? by RachelfTech 2024-10-09T23:17:40Z

This game was hilarious haha, I loved the dialogue and little games. It made me laugh and the art was beautiful too xD Overall nice work!

Particle Wars by NickHellquist 2024-10-09T23:55:49Z

This is a cool game and while I like the colours and theming, I actually can't see the enemies on the background because the colours are too similar, but I do have some vision issues so that might just be me. I definitely didn't survive for 10 minutes, because I'm terrible at games like this haha, but well done! It looks polished and the environment is nice

LD57 — Depths

Quantum Inferno Run by LeReveur 2025-04-24T20:38:13Z

This is pretty fun and smooth but the colours make it really hard to see! Unfortunately I have (new haha) eye troubles and I'm really struggling to even see the ground. Otherwise, well done!

Punch Miner by recursor 2025-04-24T21:22:37Z

I'm really bad at platformers but this felt pretty smooth. Nice work on all the different mechanics, I really like how the character turns red as the stamina gets used. Well done!

Mirror City by vidarn 2025-04-24T20:45:40Z

Oh this is super cute! It took me a second to figure out what as going on, but then once you see, it's really cool! Fun puzzles and I liked the little opening scene as well. Really well done, it's very polished!

Thanks for trying out the game everyone! Sorry it took so long to get back to rating all of your games and giving more feedback. I've been sick since mid jam and I wasn't feeling well enough to play games the last few weeks <3

As a lot of you said, the UI was a struggle and I know it is. We really weren't sure how best to arrange the compasses on screen, I really only tested it out with 3-6, so I didn't realize the screen was so full with 6+ until TOO LATE to change the design really. I meant to go back and change it so that you could click ANYWHERE on the screen instead of just in the compass, but I forgot haha! But the compass issues are ALL on me haha (I'm not the best at UI).

As for the difficulty of planning your shots, the idea was kind of you would make a shot, and then on your way down take note of which way you should go next time and adjust your angles accordingly. You can still see your previous angles while you're picking new ones, so that was meant to help. I specifically wanted the player to have to choose all the angles FIRST rather than at each stage, because that is really most of the challenge of the game. Although a cute little angle chooser at each step could be really nice!

The overall theme of the game was meant to be a bit silly and 'dystopian' in that the company sends you to a vacation but the fine print says "bring your own hook." And then my idea was that I could either start the player with a few upgrades, or just have the game start with 50 stars so that the player can decide how they start with the initial upgrades. It's virtually impossible to catch a fish without an upgrade, that's actually intentional haha. Death is the one who took such a short hook on vacation, you should be upset at Death!

I was so focused on the art this jam that a few other things didn't get as much attention as I would have liked. Like the rocks that make your hook retract, if you look closely, any rocks that the fish swim BEHIND, will break your hook. They are a slightly different colour, but I meant to go back and add a bright red outline when you hit a rock, I just forgot (again). The castle in the bottom right, also breaks the hook.

I didn't realize there was a bug relating to the fish showing the +Stars. I think the star count went up DURING the hook retracting, but it was meant to go up during the fish animations at the end! So I can see how that would be less satisfying to see, my bad lull

I had hoped to get more refinement into the hook 'Upgrades' but ultimately decided to go with it being a bit more arbitrary, and the changes meant you had to be careful about upgrading and re-teach yourself how to fish sometimes. That was all actually intentional game design, sometimes players will just upgrade willy nilly, without putting much thought into it, and I was trying to figure out a way to make them think about it more.

Overall, thanks so much for all the feedback! <3

SpeleoloGraph by Bismark 2025-04-24T20:49:14Z

This is a unique idea, I like it, exploring is always fun! But the initial UI screen has such an overload of information, it was really hard to process. I wish the UI was a bit bigger in game, but well done!

Depths Of Terror by Dan Davis 2025-04-24T21:34:48Z

The art is cute, I really like the ship design! I did find the sounds a bit annoying after a while, but the powerups feel so nice. I wish it was a bit faster overall, but once things go going it was fun! Well done!

Mr. Money's Phenomenally Soggy Water Removal Romp by Rhoka 2025-04-24T20:35:51Z

Interesting game idea, it kinda reminds me of the movie Holes haha, but back when the lake had water. You never realize how much fun it can be to do manual labour, well done! It's super silly, and the graphics are a bit rough looking, but creative!

A New Hell by Kaish 2025-04-24T20:53:02Z

I'm TERRIBLE at this game, but the mechanics feel pretty tight and polished. I managed to get a few levels down but I'm just not good enough haha. The music worked really well, even while I was failing and going in circles around the enemies? it was still good vibes haha.

The idea is a really interesting combination of mechanics/games, well done!

BENEATH by Friend_Pirozhok 2025-04-24T20:27:03Z

This is super spooky, I'm not very good with the scary water vibes haha. But the water looks really nice! Great work on that

Submarine Waffles by Eugenik 2025-04-24T20:42:36Z

WontStop.png The syrup wouldn't stop! And then the game crashed haha, but this was fun. I love games about food! The 3D movement is a bit wonky, but I like the placement marker. It's pretty fun to make waffles and add fruits, nice job!! But once I opened the game again, it didn't crash!

Submarine Waffles by Eugenik 2025-04-25T01:22:43Z

I think just having a few more types of fruits or toppings could really help with variety. It kinda ended up being same-y. But also I think something that would add a lot is some type of mini game with cooking the waffles, so MAYBE you can burn them, or you could also get a rating on how well you cooked it.

Managing multiple waffle machines to cook a few at a time could also be fun, if the waffles took longer to cook! It's a pretty good base line \o/

Focal Depth by parkuhrmd 2025-04-24T21:20:14Z

This is really cool! I like the world, and the colours. I also really love the idea of taking pictures and discovering wildlife! I did have a bit of a problem with the movement being too sensitive so it was HARD to get good pictures, but since I'm a pro photographer, I managed!

This is one of my favourite entries, I love the overall vibes and finding all the fish! At first I was worried it would be spooky like subnautica, which could be a vibe but I like the chill! Well done!

That Underground Level by andrewkennedy 2025-04-24T20:58:48Z

This is really well done! Great job, the sounds were a bit loud and I got tired of the BG music. But the rest of the game makes up for it, there's a lot of really great things in there, good work! I just love the little coins, and all the art really. The vibes of the whole game are just spot on. This is one of my favourite games this Ludum Dare!!

Even though I'm really bad at it, I would love to see more levels, maybe one day I'll have enough skill to actually beat it haha. Overall, really nice entry!

Morally GrayStone Corp by T90. 2025-04-24T21:31:54Z

Overall, this is a really nice entry! I love the vibes and music, they fit well with the dialogue. It's super polished, and the transition from dialogue to walking around was nice! I like that there is stuff to explore, even if most people in game seem to hate their jobs haha!

I also really like the art, the characters look cute in dialogue but they are ADORABLE in game haha.

Well done! I think a longer, post jam story/version would be really cool too!

Voidwood by Tobius 2025-04-24T21:07:36Z

I love this! The intro is spot on, and I love the music. The game itself is really simple, but fun! I found it was a bit of an experiment for a few items to know if they were good or bad, but I liked that. I love the nature theme and it fits really well into the LD theme.

Great job! I think this could be really fun as a mobile game too. One of my favourite entries!

A Sinking Feeling by mortusnegati 2025-04-24T21:16:04Z

This game was somehow so spooky haha, I think it was the music! So great vibes, even though I was terrified. Well done!

Not Too Deep by Crak 2025-04-24T21:26:05Z

This is great, I love the art style even though it's a bit in your face at times. The different mini games are great, very old school feeling. I love that each one is different, so I could be terrible at each of them! Super polished though, well done!

Deep Blue Descent by pabloa31 2025-04-24T21:11:13Z

Well done! I love the ambient water effects and calm vibes. I think some nice music or effects would have added to the mood a lot. I also really like the immersive tutorial within the game, stuff like that is always nice!

The camera was a bit wonky in places and I saw the backside of a wall or something once, but otherwise it was pretty smooth!

The Depths, A Floppy Cat Adventure by KataStudios 2025-04-24T21:03:25Z

I found the controls to be a bit too sensitive and wonky, but the cat was cute! And I liked the customization, nice job!

LD58 — Collector

Lost In Taxation by LeReveur 2025-10-23T01:33:08Z

Very simple but despite all the issues, you still submitted! So good job for that, and the game looks nice and I do love text choice games like this!

Goomba Simulator 2025 by LandoSystems 2025-10-23T01:54:54Z

I love that you made a sequal, thats the spirit of game jamming haha! 32 was my first ever ludum dare, so that's such a call back! I love how you turned things around and get to play as the enemy, super fun! Great job!

Clean Line by Jesús González 2025-10-23T01:56:31Z

Wow, this was really well done! I always love puzzle games and I love the art, it's super cute and cozy. It wasn't immediately clear that you could deconstruct tracks while the train was running, but it felt good when I realized! Overall, really great job!

Floralchemists by Sarah 2025-10-09T18:02:52Z

Thanks for trying it everyone!

@dianavi I am realllly debating doing a post jam version to fully flesh out ALL the combination ideas I had. I unfortunately had to cut a lot out because I just ran out of physical time to put them into the code haha

@gamebuilder I would have loved to access everything without a scroll bar but there are just so many things haha. And I ran out of time to add more toggle options (I had it started though). For the combos, every item has a 'Stat' that shows when you hold it or unlock it and that is mostly how you're supposed to figure it out.

The star/sun/moon items were my test items and I was going to take them out but then I decided to leave them in so that the player could sell them to make $1 or just combine them for free/fun etc. Basically they're just for making money if you run out. I had plans for them to be used to make some high level 'Space Potions' but I simply ran out of time haha!

@guardianmad I agree, it is hard to remember the recipes. I had hoped to add the recipe info into the Collection Cache window, when you clicked on an item it would show. But I didn't have enough time sadly.

@adam-gallina I struggled on the decision of whether to have ingredients available, unlockable by MP or just hidden until further progress etc. But because it was 'free' to get [$] and [MP], I figured that the cost of experimenting mostly came down to time and clicks (: I also really wanted the merchant to give more hints!! I meant to add more hints to the list of messages but it completely slipped my mind until after the jam ended.

@debugman18 @steven-garberg @b0guslaw Thanks for playing! I'm glad it landed (:

@seel Great job figuring it out! I also really love games like this so I forgot how tedious it can truly be sometimes to find new combos haha and since I know all the recipes without looking, it becomes hard to tell how hard it is for everyone else (:

@yibirabbit007 That is intentional! You can make as much money as you want, it's just limited by how many times you want to click and sell (:

Thanks for the feedback everyone, it's great to read! Now that I'm feeling a bit less sick I was able to go back and verify that it IS indeed possible to 100% the game. I noticed a few small issues with the potion colours and the progress bar on the book, but otherwise it seems to work! <3

Dungeon Depot by Isaac 2025-10-23T01:39:54Z

I love the characters and the art, its very cute! Great work! I really like the different phases and typically I really love shop/selling games, this is well done (:

Knock-N-Treat by Steven Garberg 2025-10-23T01:38:54Z

This is super cute! I love the graphics and vibes of the game. The candy collection minigame was really fun, I liked that and I wish it was longer. I also think it would be fun to have a randomized sequence rather than just left, up, right every time. Really well done, one of my favourites this jam!

§hadows by gamebuilder 2025-10-23T01:50:48Z

The atmosphere was super creepy, and it was a bit weird moving around but overall it fits the vibe. Well done!

Weight of GOLD by Maxwell3000 2025-10-23T01:48:37Z

Nice entry, I'm really bad at these games so I couldn't get very far but I loved the immersive tutorials bits. Overall I kept dying when it felt like I should still be able to jump, especially with double jump, back up out of a hole. But other than that, I really liked it. And I absolutely loved the backgrounds, they were perfect! Well done!

UNEARTHING by YellowKamel 2025-10-23T01:58:55Z

Very cool graphics, I like the way the rooms appeared and the BG music was nice. I did find the SFX to be a bit harsh sounding but overall it was okay. I liked the vibes and it felt like a good throwback to the games we had in the 90s, nice work everyone!

Raccoon Rumpus! by b0guslaw 2025-10-22T23:26:01Z

I love raccoons so much, this game is great just for that haha, good work!

Tiko's Quest by Adam Gallina 2025-10-23T01:46:21Z

I love this so much, the character is ADORABLE. The music fits really nicely as well, even though the game itself was a bit laggy (probably my PC not your game) I enjoyed it a lot! I really hate bugs though but the models are nicely done, there's a ton you got added in such a short time. Great job overall, impressive entry!

Collector Kitty by debugman18 2025-10-23T01:43:27Z

This a cute cat, I love it. Overall the movement is a bit too slow and it made the game a bit sluggish, but well done!

Super Axolotl Adventure by Dianavi 2025-10-23T01:52:51Z

Ahhhh it's so cute! I love the axolotl and the game itself is fun, I'm just really bad at these types of games. Well done!

DRUNK HUNT by Jacky San 2025-10-23T01:57:25Z

This is actually hilarious, at first I was confused how it connected to the them but after stealing some hair it all made sense. It was really funny to attack and once the hunter got a bit faster there was a bit of challenge. Nice work!

The Internet Collector by YibiRabbit007 2025-10-23T01:36:08Z

I found this really confusing but it looks great and has a really cool old school vibe. Really brings me back to computers from my childhood haha, well done!

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Stop The Munchies by Sarah 2018-04-24T02:45:18Z

@Dekobii Thanks for noticing, I uploaded an older build of the finished game, but I fixed it :) So the resolution works properly again.

The level would have ended if your calorie count (top left, so it might not have been visible) reaches 0 (you lost...), or if the timer finished (win, yay!). I'm not sure what's going on with the music, it sounded normal for me?

Stop The Munchies by Sarah 2018-04-24T04:07:59Z

Turns out the game will ALWAYS say you failed... stay salty.

@emiko & @Q-ro I (think) I figured out the music issue, so I'll fix that tomorrow! @Dekobii was right the first time!

@mshopf Yes, the thought was that you can make the path more complicated so the munchies can't reach the end as easily!

@radow Building out a maze like path can be really fun. I originally had the pieces always checking directions in order [top->left] so it was SO predictable. I set out to choose a custom ordering each time, but then I had to keep track of which directions were already used before so the munchies didn't backtrack TOO much. Although it doesn't seem to work properly 5% of the time and they end up looping. I think it's a bug in the neighbor detection actually :(

@Tikikala There's definitely a bug that causes the munchies to loop on certain layouts. Although I haven't looked yet, as I said, I suspect its the neighbor detection code. You likely survived the game, even though it's mean and will say you lost!

@gdort The second part had 4 different card types, a tower that faced in each direction. A tower will shoot the nano bots in that direction (which will hit one square away) and after 15 seconds, a tower will disappear!

@dayn9 & @AugusteTheClown and everyone so far, thanks! And thanks for trying the game out :D

Keyboard Army by PeachTreeOath 2018-04-30T15:28:23Z

This game is really fun, and could be a much better way to teach kids typing (remember all the awful typing 'games'). It stands on its own as well, and the music is really catchy. Although typing the names of the cards at the end of it was a bit crazy because one of my fingers is messed up today, making typing a bit weird :P I would definitely play this again!

The Colossal Carrot Caper by rush 2018-04-30T15:17:38Z

The graphics were cute! The game itself was pretty fun, and an interesting take on the theme. I think a more finely tuned system(varying beats/audio) for the rhythm part would have made things a bit more intense, and maybe a way to get away from the wolves... because everything was going fine until I got eaten by the wolf. Overall though, good job!

Talkie by recursor 2026-04-22T01:33:23Z

Waiter Waiter by block97 2026-04-22T01:14:48Z

What a silly game! There was a lot to manage so I immediately got overwhelmed and ignored my lady haha. It's an interesting idea, nice work everyone!

Hive and Honey Horticulture by Sarah 2026-04-22T02:16:38Z

Thanks so much for playing everyone! And thanks for all the kind feedback, it means a lot after so much work in three days! (: @universeflow @asieke @pokeydem @celiolymph @5n4k3 @lemonchicken47 @recursor

@crispypear I had wanted to get a 'Sell' or 'Buy' mode in that would allow placing/selling multiple in one go but I ran out of time sadly! I also meant to add a settings toggle for Ms.BeeHive for anyone who no longer needed her tips but for now we can see her as a very persistent bee (:

@sirlich Recolouring the walls somehow felt like a very important feature to me because I absolutely couldn't decide what colour the walls should be but ultimately picked green anyway xD I found the time by not sleeping and taking no breaks (I'm paying for it today haha)

@block97 wow! very nice swarm!!

@rangoiv I'm not sure if you realized but you could buy a medium pot in place of a small pot without having to sell it! And in terms of balancing, I never trust game jammers to play for so long so I typically force them right into the action. But I agree, a slower start might be nicer (:

@vincenthuet HoneyMoney is what I should call the currency I think xD

@domenixius We did struggle with the pathing on the minigame and it was one of the things we ran out of time to finish tweaking, but since it was quick and happened often we let it bee (: The mini game suffered so we could paint the walls!!

@fae-pdf Thanks for all the thoughts! I had some similar ones as well but we leaned toward the side of making it (super) easy for the jammers to get more enjoyment out of a short play of it (: I'm thinking about adding a post jam, more balanced version too! The game is also NOT optimized in any way, so it does struggle a wee bit on my machine as well haha. In allll my game jam games I had some little popup with hints to help anyone who may be struggling, but I almost always remember to add a button to turn it off! This time I forgot and near the end when I realized, I thought well at least she is pretty! And thanks again for the detailed feedback!!

@jpat This was one of my most ambitious jams yet polish (and art) wise, since we're on our last few I went hard this jam haha!

@gamcho She is a Canadian Bee, so she is very nice!

Thanks again for trying out our game! This is somewhere around my 22nd+ Ludum Dare (including my entries on old accounts, but I lost track of them - 32 was my first) and every jam I try to make something a little better than last time. I barely slept or ate food this weekend to get things done! BUT IT WAS WORTH IT <3

Hive and Honey Horticulture by Sarah 2026-04-22T15:17:34Z

@pres2300 @venomousmouse @hoptoad @pipetto @erilhir Thanks for playing!! I'm so happy everyone is enjoying the colour options! I was worried it wasn't worth the time or effort haha.

And I spent about half my time (at least) working on the art <3

@msipp27 unfortuntately thats still a bug we haven't been able to track down. it sometimes freezes on the first open, but restarting the game seems to fix it! (there's a save file so no progress is lost)

Hive and Honey Horticulture by Sarah 2026-04-22T20:52:31Z

Thanks for playing! @jasmin @lukas-leder

@theg It's one of the most unoptimized game jam games I've ever made haha. The sprites are a total mess from me just hand drawing in whatever size felt good atm, and a mix of way too much happening every frame. But we just ran out of time to clean that all up (: Hopefully no machines explode from the power of the bees

Hive and Honey Horticulture by Sarah 2026-05-08T15:54:02Z

FIRST OFF, thank you so much for all the kinds words everyone. Especially about my art, I was SO NERVOUS about showing it all but the kind comments have really given me some confidence in myself now, so thank you so so much!

And for everyone who played for a while, that means so much to hear!! We really appreciate all the time spent! (:

@quitewavy @caer My theme connection was initially that bees use bee signals to find flowers (like the minigame) and then it sorta morphed into a whole new, bigger game idea!

@papaver Due to spending so much time on making the shop paintable, the minigames suffered a little and didn't get as much love, so they were simple and meant to be really easy (:

@kanity Thanks for the kind words <3 We put our full 100% effort all weekend into this game, I've only just felt recovered this past week!

@goodwayman Thanks a lot! I love how your plant shop turned out (:

@blues I actually meant to get some unlocking of upgrades added in but it completely slipped my mind until...now!

@braktheman I wish I was able to optimize (at all) but time constraints meant every little bee is gonna eat up memory haha, totally worth it for the beees

@bumble Thank you so much!

@euler-moises This is probably our biggest and most polished Ludum Dare entry yet! Thanks for playing (:

@sbeif Balancing for the game jam meant we made everything very quick, just so if someone wanted to play for only 5-10 minutes they could still get a feel for progression and unlocking some things (: I also struggled with the store design so expanding it was necessary at times but mostly it worked collapsed to the side! And the theme did end up being very loosely applied because the minigame WAS the game inititally.

But after thinking about the idea and having bee signals to unlock flowers felt great but that made me want to build a whole plant shop and thus the theme got a bit lost in translation. In the end we just loved the idea and direction of the game so much, we let the theme take the hit (:

@anete-ainjarv I stayed up until 5am+ to finish MsBeeHive after working all day and she was 10000% worth the effort! I wasn't even sure she would be on screen much so after spending so many hours drawing her, she became the main mascot (:

@lereveur The bees miss you..That's what they said anyway! Thanks for playing!!

@alexandr-gerya I'm so glad you spent some time decorating! It was an unplanned extra idea near the end of the jam and I'm very glad I went for it (:

@nkvz @soul-grinder @matt2728 @railnof @hhch Thanks for playing!

And to anyone else who rated or played the game, thanks for trying it out. And HAVE A GREAT TIME UNTIL NEXT LUDUM DARE!

Hive and Honey Horticulture by Sarah 2026-05-09T05:21:34Z

@prakkus It's all about adding small things and when it all comes together it feels like a full experience!

@nuclme @icebell

Thanks so much for playing!

Semaphore Euphoria by Papaver 2026-05-08T15:16:34Z

I love the music! It sounds super peppy and the idea itself is fun. It reminds me of the shy guy mario party mini game, but I like that there are two flags. It's a bit difficult to coordinate two hands doing two directions, but it's challenging in a fun way! Great work!

That Italian February Week by sbeif 2026-05-08T15:07:26Z

This is so cute! I love the audio, it really matches the vibe of the world. I also love puzzle games. Great work!

They Devour Signals by justking144 2026-04-22T20:49:19Z

I like the mechanics, very fun! Nice work

My Men! by CrispyPear 2026-04-22T01:01:19Z

This made me laugh when I first played it, nice job on the sounds haha! I'm not very good at it at all, but it was fun. Well done!

WiFi Trouble by rangoiv 2026-04-22T01:20:37Z

Other than the bug for restarting a level things work pretty well. I like solving the puzzles but it's a bit time consuming to restart when you place something a bit wrong. Overall nice job!

WATERNAUT by MaximeG 2026-04-22T01:24:01Z

I love the idea for this game, restoring nature is always fun. But it felt like I could just get water from digging anywhere, I'm not sure if that was intended or not but it was still fun to see everything come to life.

Well done!

Dragonia Siege by Euler Moises 2026-05-08T15:28:33Z

I love the retro audio and visuals. Great work on that! I loved getting to talk to all the people in the world, but I wasn't very great at figuring anything out haha. But it's a polished little experience, you did well!

Cave Man Conversations by SirLich 2026-04-22T01:12:08Z

This was surprisingly peaceful, great job on the audio (all of it)! And I liked figuring out each puzzle. It would have been nice if correct letters from incorrect words could have filled in to help, but overall I really liked it!

The Trisignal by matt2728 2026-05-08T14:45:08Z

I like the use of the theme, even if it was a bit difficult to figure out what to do. It wasn't immediately clear that you could leave the area so I did wander around the inital houses for a while. The world was way bigger than I imagined, nice work!

Signal Saboteur by An405 2026-05-08T15:12:24Z

This is so cute! I love the graphics and atmosphere (: Picking up items was a fun addition, especially the hat! It ties in well to the theme, but I really struggle with platforming, even very basic levels so I died more than I would like haha. Great work overall!

Saintfall by nkvz 2026-05-08T14:56:48Z

This is a fun idea! I did accidentally murder some of them in my pursuit of finding the saint, but it's fine...right. I like the ring of light that appears for testing and the overall silly vibes. Great work!

To walk on Strange Roads? by alyd asmar 2026-04-22T01:43:42Z

I wandered around the game for a while, but I just truly don't understand what I'm supposed to interact with or how to actually *play* the game. The graphics are super cute and I like the background music that played as I walked around. I checked out the pdf and it seems very interesting!

I think maybe I'm just missing something mechanics or controls wise? I'm just not sure what to actually do to find a package! Also overall I would prefer to have access to the whole PDF graphics actually IN game so its easier to see it. But it's a cool idea (:

Mixed Signals by universeflow 2026-04-22T00:52:25Z

This is really fun! I was having a great time and then it suddenly got really difficult, but the screen effects as I lost all my rizz was nice. The sounds and music was really groovy, and definitely helped get into the rhythm of the game! I love the bartender too, very classy (:

So far one of the most polished entries I've seen! Great work everyone

Haberdashery Rhythm Assault by Asieke 2026-04-22T00:57:10Z

This is a really interesting idea! I love the little metallatic sound when you block something and overall a pretty fun rhythm game!

Pulse Rescue by Soul Grinder 2026-05-08T14:50:33Z

I'm not sure if it's just my mouse sensitivity but I really struggled with camera controls, otherwise it was pretty smooth! I like that you have the language options (: The atmosphere spooked me a bit but overall it was fun to exist in space. Great work!

Smoke Show by Crygos 2026-05-08T15:35:48Z

This is very cute! I like the graphics and overall feel to the game. It's light and happy but it's challenging to get right each time. I did struggle with getting both hands to work together in this particular key setup but once I got the hang of it, it was really fun. Great work!

Cleared for Chaos by Reed Molbak 2026-04-22T02:27:51Z

This is super fun! I love managing so many things at once, until planes collide of course, but that's what mistakes are for..right? It's a simple and cute artstyle, which works really well with a game like this. The audio was a bit loud so a better balance might be nice for starting, but overall great work. It's one of my favourites so far this jam!

Feelin' Crabby by Blues 2026-04-21T19:23:09Z

What a cute game! The aspect ratio was a bit difficult but once it was full screened, everything was visible! I loved the audio, the sound at the end of the escaping minigame was my favourite. The minigame itself was pretty fun too.

The crab character is really well done, I love the little movements, kind of like it's dancing!

Overall great job!

McFoley's by braktheman 2026-05-08T14:48:19Z

I love cooking games, the audio was silly and I liked it. At first it was hard to figure out that it needed 2 buns but I got there! Nice work!

Moon Moth by kanity 2026-05-08T15:32:30Z

This is a super cool idea, I like the execution of it! The graphics are cute and I like that you did the audio! I had some screen sizing issues so there were gray bars around it but that didn't really break it. I liked the dream like vibes though, well done getting everything made and in the game yourself! It's tough to do everything yourself, but it pays off!

The Hive of Queen Bee-Atrice by Domenixius 2026-04-22T01:27:02Z

Another bee game! I love the design of the little bee, it's super cute! The SFX made me laugh haha, they are a nice touch. I also loved the lighting in the top right corner. Nice job!

F(R)OG by Egrassah 2026-05-08T14:42:03Z

The art and audio for this are really nice! I love the cute frog, and the title screen looks really nice! The game itself was a bit confusing but I eventually figured it out, the audio cues really helped! Nice work everyone, any game about frogs is a win for me (:

Phase Signal by goodwayman 2026-05-08T15:23:40Z

This is super polished, even if the graphics are very simple. I like the puzzles with changing the colour signals around. Great work!

Infrequency by Caer 2026-05-08T14:53:44Z

This is super cool, I like the visuals and sounds of it! I wish there was a bit more direction on how the mechanics affected the world but overall really well done!

Signal Mage by Zhr 2026-04-22T17:39:52Z

This is a cute game, I like the little sketches a lot and the music was nice! I think it would have been nice is the magnifying part was always available without having to click it, but otherwise well done!

m01d by gujiufeng 2026-04-22T01:17:39Z

I love the music and sounds! It's a cute idea, confusing at first on how to actually survive and not just die off though, but it's fun enough once you figure things out (:

Tracking by Sound by imeng 2026-04-22T01:02:44Z

The game wouldn't run for me ):

Natural Luck by Alexandr Gerya 2026-05-08T15:05:04Z

This is super cute! I love all the animals and the whole vibe of the world, I hated making them all so sad though haha. As much as I love the rainbow text visually, I did struggle a bit to read it, but I blame my bad eyes for that. Great mood overall and nice work both of you!

Pzants by LemonChicken47 2026-04-22T01:30:07Z

I immediately panicked when I saw ants haha but I played it and it's well done! The art is cute, I love the big shovel. I would have liked more cute foods to eat as well. Nice work!

Why, Fye!? by PokeyDem 2026-04-22T00:59:19Z

I like the idea a lot, I almost did something very similar but ultimately didn't. It's a fun puzzle to figure out, well done!

Signal Tower Delivery by Jikazushi 2026-05-08T15:00:52Z

This is a fun idea! I almost made something similar this jam with the signal towers. I like the simple graphics but I wish there was more feedback from placing towers. Nice work!

Resonance Protocol by PudinKiller 2026-04-22T01:56:32Z

I love tower defense games! The graphics are nice, although the enemies scare me a little! Nice work. I like the way the signals bounce around, its fun to kill enemies that way!

SOMEONE IS LISTENING by Maocaroni 2026-05-08T14:38:47Z

I'm not a big fan of horror games because I get scared too easily so in that sense, you really nailed it! I was on edge the entire time haha, nice work! I love the graphics, it really sets the mood

While You Were Here by jpat 2026-04-22T01:53:10Z

What a great game, one of my favourites so far this jam! I love the whole aesthetic of the game. It really reminds me of Zelda games where you get to control statues in the woods! The character signal animations are adorable and the puzzles were fun to figure out as well. Overall really well done, tricky puzzles too (:

Buller than Bull by gubo 2026-04-22T17:20:17Z

It took me a few minutes to figure out how to play because the first time I opened it there was a bug and my arm was invisible! So I kept getting bullied but I eventually figured it out! I like the bull, even though it's very mean haha, and the music is a nice little bop. Nice work!
