pretty nice graphics and very good use of the there... the artstyle reminds me bioshock, well done

pilarius 2025-04-08 14:48

what the duck? nicely done

sofia-miglan 2025-04-08 16:21

I was scared the whole game because of the sound effects, I wanted to turn back, but you can't do that in the game, which makes it even scarier, and that's cool! The 3D graphics are simple and enjoyable, I like it.

kenevil1 2025-04-08 16:24

I think the game is really lacking rubber ducks, can we have some more them? Besides from that loved playing it!

lucas-verardino 2025-04-08 16:26

I loved the assets and graphics, got the Bioshock vibe mixed with Iron Lung!! Both games that I love!

broco 2025-04-08 16:27

Wow the ambience is great! It really takes you to the depths of the ocean. But I cannot see how the duck clicking gameplay is tied with the theme! 😅 It'd have been great if you had to do something input related to keep the submarine alive, other than just clicking ducks 😅 Other than that I think it looks and sounds great!

aleksey-salion 2025-04-08 16:28

I’m really into the game’s vibe!

pigeon-dp 2025-04-08 17:08

Really nice game. Loved the graphics and lighting. The gameplay was fun too. Felt kinda detached from the theme though :/

mortusnegati 2025-04-08 17:21

Haha yeah, the gameplay is too deep for this jam

t-c 2025-04-09 00:12

Have to echo what other people are saying, the atmosphere in this game is top notch. Didn't really understand the purpose, and the phone call was hard to hear, but .... clicking on a lot of things eventually I made it to the bottom. Wish there was a bit more direction, but I was still amused. Made it to the bottom. Really like the final scene  Good work!

mutilated-sauce 2025-04-09 00:18

The game looks and sounds amazing! I was definitely lost as to what I was supposed to be doing exactly, and I'm not even sure why I lost in the end.

toreskovic 2025-04-09 00:21

Awesome vibe accompanied by great graphics and neatly done music & sounds. Definitely not made by quacks! ;)

trogdor-20x6 2025-04-09 00:22

Definitely appreciate the Bioshock aesthetic, though meant I was expecting an entirely different game.

The mood is so good I really assumed I was doing something wrong with the number of rubber ducks there were.

Very impressive graphics obviously. Though every now in then things would freeze as a shader or something loaded in (like when turning on the flashlight).

wolfier 2025-04-09 00:23

I have no idea what just happened. Duck is right.

I'll be honest i have no problems with a game that just dumps me into a giant pile of what.

mavvy 2025-04-09 00:26

Playin' your Linux native build.

A Sinking Feeling put me in a very false sense of security, I thought this was going to be a straight-forward clicker style game. Turns out, it's a descent into madness and I am absolutely here for it!

Nails a rare balance between humor and mood for me!

jordanfb 2025-04-09 00:32

What an experience! Made it to the bottom with 534 points, I kept on wondering what exactly I was doing but then I was distracted from interrogating by trying to stay alive. Cute coins, truly did a very good job keeping me distracted and engaged, still don't quite know what just happened. Cool stuff!

teist 2025-04-09 02:41

what the duck?

zerocomms 2025-04-09 03:33

Wasnt sure if this was an incremental or puzzle game.

neeck-kola 2025-04-09 21:28

I didn't understand what happened, but I really liked the vibe, maded only by sounds, of madness that comes from the lack of people and the only interlocutor, the duck

This chat section needs a "reply" feature. For future readers, then:

I'm the main programmer guy, and I'm sad I didn't get more done (as always). But, I'm happy with how this turned out anyway.

It is UNBELIEVABLY hard to get all the web loading stutter out of a Jam game. I think I need a strategy for this that starts with the first asset loaded. I will conquer that issue in future jams, maybe.

It was an incremental game in my mind, but we only got to those 4 "games". I spent a lot of time on the sound effects, and the phone dialing logic, that I didn't leave time for more mini games.

Thanks for playing.

Some important things to know: - The red duck can die with 8 clicks before the timer runs out. If you're too slow, you lose health and eventually die. Sorry if the timer is too short. - The power can and should be turned back on. - You can hang up on the first phone call, it doesn't matter.

The game has a few SECRETS: - You can dial 911 and it will ring forever. - There is a secret duck that appears on the 13th second of every minute.

I used an "expected time played" variable throughout the development. All things scale to that variable and an associated timer. Originally I set it to 10 minutes, but based on how much content we had I brought it down to 3 and a half minutes. Unless you die early, that's the time you'll hit the bottom every time.

A fairly simple and fun game). At first, I didn’t fully understand what to do, but after a while, I started to get the hang of it. Big respect to whoever made the 3D models! Overall, you did a great job!

Now this game sets a mood and a half! A great mix of absurd and creepy. Great voice acting over the phone, solid art and the sound kept the hair on the back of my neck raised throughout.

sarah 2025-04-24 21:16

This game was somehow so spooky haha, I think it was the music! So great vibes, even though I was terrified. Well done!
