How to Po by Decentsauce 2023-10-03T01:24:49Z

This was a banger. I would gladly play more. I felt like I was playing an old gamecube era 3d platformer. I would have appreciated slightly more forgiving lava collisions and controls. Loved the boss fight. Your credits screen has so much charm.

BLOCKIES by Ayxs 2023-10-03T17:49:54Z

A game like this could really use an undo button. Once you misplace a piece because the camera angle was bad it sort of kills your fun. I really enjoyed the experience. Chill music, nice game play.

Bake Me One More Time by hadesfury 2023-10-02T22:50:27Z

The keyboard experience was frustrating so I switched to a controller. It was still somewhat hard to navigate the tight walkways in the back kitchen and aim correctly for a basket vs the open oven nearby. My buying the kneading machine first was a bad decision. I really like the sunset lighting, guitar track, and voxel art!

Space Promenade by Jesús González 2023-10-03T03:59:15Z

I liked the music and particle effects were something special! I would have liked some kind of indication of each ships cool down, like if they faded back to normal color before shooting. I had a lot of them synchronized and it was really hard to get them to shoot at what I wanted them to. Great work.

Diminutive Dungeon by Rose 2023-10-02T23:52:51Z

I played to until the shop was sold out and enjoyed every minute.

Feng Tetra by Marin0104 2023-10-02T23:00:29Z

I had too much trouble trying to figure out what the algorithm wanted. I read the tutorial first but had to relaunch because I couldn't figure out how to leave that screen. The controls were too hard for me, often times I knew where I wanted everything to go and failed to execute that plan. I gave up when it kept telling me the nice layout I made was 1 point short of good.

Seagull Island | L'île aux Goélands by Seb_degraff 2023-10-03T19:44:13Z

I love the music and sound. I had trouble where I just kept getting a ton of roof toppers and no buildings.

Asteroid Base by JOZGames 2023-10-03T04:50:00Z

This is my kinda game. I could prestige forever!

Amazing Squirrel by Sora 2023-10-03T01:53:39Z

Great artwork and modeling and such. I want a shiny noise to play when I get an acorn. Also I had no idea I was supposed to return them to the center. I guess my bad for not reading the instructions. The camera should have some way of not clipping backward through geometry because it added a lot of chaos to my experience.

There are leaks by Eryph 2023-10-03T17:26:14Z

So glad I found this game. What a treat!

Vacuum Voyager by Killnaprimer 2023-10-02T22:13:09Z

I enjoyed your game! I had a bit of trouble on level 2 and either the levels got easier from there or I just got better at playing. Once I got into the mindset to solve them I was having a good time. I am assuming level 5 is the last level because nothing happened when I cleared it.

Space LTD by finbobby123 2023-10-03T00:39:22Z

It would be nice to see the shapes I'm trying to place before I click the icon and try to place it. Oh, and nice work making a game.

Space, Ltd. by Madbarron 2023-10-10T05:41:51Z

I couldn't get the shelves to move or go where I want them, same with the table legs, can't take them out of the crate even though there's space on the ground. Let me know what I'm doing wrong and I'll be back to play (and hopefully win) later.

Space, Ltd. by Madbarron 2023-10-10T16:39:02Z

I beat it! I liked it. It played like solitaire almost...

Gyronimo by pepnou 2023-10-03T19:10:27Z

Impressive work! I gave up trying to jump over the key in level 5 (I think?). I'm not sure how I am supposed to make that jump.

Ominos by OgelGames 2023-10-03T02:10:06Z

I thought it was good. It started out easy and got harder. The sound effects really helped me enjoy it more. Good work.

Private 621 by Tricky_Fat_Cat 2023-10-03T17:36:00Z

Was pretty fun. Definitely limited space. I think it would be nice to indicate when a mushroom has entered it's "I am dead / about to explode" state. Especially when I hit them with bullets I want them to turn dark or something, or start flashing. Then I know I defeated them and can stop shooting at them.

Laser Grid by MasterProject 2023-10-03T02:25:07Z

Man, I'm not very good at this. The timer didn't give me a lot of time to think and it was pretty fast paced right off the bat. I'd like to see it start slower and ramp up from there. The music and art style combined were an absolute joy. Reminded me fondly of Mega Man Battle Network.

Quantum Space by DS Nahogara 2023-10-03T01:11:20Z

I was impressed by the sound effects. Nice game. I would like to see the enemies flash instead of just emitting particles because it doesn't feel like I'm hitting until they actually die. The waves feel too short, as in the portal spawns too soon and there's not really a reason to keep killing stuff. I had fun though. I liked being unstoppable.

Space! Ltd. by Boyar 2023-10-04T23:51:06Z

This is so fun! I liked how friendly the piece generator was to me, I didn't have trouble finding the pieces I need to complete my plans. Then it go way MORE fun when I had to start planning out how I was going to build multiple colored blueprints on the same board when I won't necessarily be able to do one blueprint at a time. Great design. I think every bit of effort you put into the tutorial and polish was well worth it. 5 stars!

Space Ltd. by Telkan 2023-10-03T01:59:46Z

Really good pixel art!

Fit In Bed by SelkieHarbour 2023-10-03T19:36:05Z

Every time I needed to move a character vertically it got really frustrating. I couldn't even figure our how to put the cat any higher. Everything seems stuck in a 2d plane to me.

Ad Space by fisher2470 2023-10-06T20:47:22Z

Well done. I enjoyed the stories and seeing my effect on them. I got an evil idea that you could cause a catastrophe like the mosquito virus outbreak on purpose to generate a more valuable news story the next day. Another idea: you could add more value to news articles and adds placed higher on the page. Fun game, easy to play in browser, thanks for that.

ASAP by Stevie257 2023-10-03T06:05:10Z

I got stuck on level 7 with the 2 objectives being met alternately. Given the price limit, I can't imagine there was another solution.

Torch by Gyrooo 2023-10-03T02:42:30Z

The way you revealed the large torch towers and the gate in the distance felt good. Those little camera move cutscenes. Pretty fun game already, but of course I'd like to see more.

Give Me BBQ by Surune 2023-10-03T19:17:10Z

Am I doing something wrong? I ran out of money. I'm not getting any money for clicking the O button on orders. Ahaa, flipping is necessary and not just a tool for playing tetris

Space Ltd. by mortusnegati 2023-10-04T20:29:04Z

Thanks for the enthusiasm! I got so lucky dreaming up this idea for the jam and it was fun watching it come together. I shall now go on a space-ltd journey. FYI I'm already working on post jam content. I have 10 new levels, I made the background less motion sickening, I fixed a bug I hope nobody found, etc. Too bad I can't release any of it for 16 more days without interfering with the compo. P.S. I added a game play screenshot.

Space Ltd. by mortusnegati 2023-10-10T00:23:59Z

I'd be glad to hear ideas on how to make it clearer, but it's possible I already thought of some of them. I'm working on a post-jam cleanup version. I think the most helpful changes are the ones I made aimed at improving camera controls. Don't worry about sounding mean, I ran out of time, but I can also use some feedback.

Subwhell in RushHour by Mealky 2023-10-03T02:20:16Z

I recommend showing the controls to do each move in the world, above the outlines. Then make sure we do all three at the very start. Then you can take away the control indicators. Though I admit that would be an annoying prelude when you jump back in for the second time.

Bounced by Kyleah 2023-10-03T03:49:22Z

Wow such beauty, why would I want to go in the club anyway when I can watch the clouds?

Glutton-Free by andypang1010 2023-10-03T03:39:32Z

Nice well-finished project.

Shrink Up by 0Point 2023-10-03T03:10:24Z

A very interesting concept. Well done!

Limited Sanity by kenevil1 2023-10-03T01:37:22Z

One of the doors opened into my face and killed me? and I decided I didn't want to clean someone else's room again. Liked this brand of voices noises.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Buzzzy Buzzy Beez by jeroenpx 2024-10-08T18:09:13Z

Very impressive number of bees supported. Also very cute visuals and sounds.

Deflummoxer by unless games 2024-10-08T01:03:19Z

Oh my god what a nice and finished feeling game. The audio is a definitely amazing. I got to 6 and failed. I don't seem to be able to do better. Good art style.

Snail away by Thomas_Bringer 2024-10-09T01:14:02Z

Reminded me of Fancy Pants. I am so impressed you did this in two days. Nice style.

Tiny Creatures - Lost Kittens by ybzpp 2024-10-09T01:25:31Z

Very very nice mood. I loved it.

Hamster Run by jonathandavidlewis 2024-10-09T00:39:15Z

Hey, heads up. When I was playing my camera was forcing to pan up into the sky. I also had this problem with my Godot game and I think I managed to fix it by setting my embedded resolution to an odd number.

Users can make sure they're in full screen.

Hamster Run by jonathandavidlewis 2024-10-09T00:42:29Z

I particularly loved your screen transitions and working high scores table. Nice job.

Creepy Crypt Critters by ArcadeEleven 2024-10-08T00:55:09Z

My only regret is letting the other guy score at all. Maybe I over estimated the bug eaters.

LD57 — Depths

A Final Deed by 0X_VOID_X0 2025-04-08T22:37:56Z

Holding letters doesn't work for me. Idk if it's my keyboard or what. I got about that far in.

A Sinking Feeling by mortusnegati 2025-04-08T17:21:13Z

Haha yeah, the gameplay is too deep for this jam

A Sinking Feeling by mortusnegati 2025-04-10T05:06:03Z

This chat section needs a "reply" feature. For future readers, then:

I'm the main programmer guy, and I'm sad I didn't get more done (as always). But, I'm happy with how this turned out anyway.

It is UNBELIEVABLY hard to get all the web loading stutter out of a Jam game. I think I need a strategy for this that starts with the first asset loaded. I will conquer that issue in future jams, maybe.

It was an incremental game in my mind, but we only got to those 4 "games". I spent a lot of time on the sound effects, and the phone dialing logic, that I didn't leave time for more mini games.

Thanks for playing.

A Sinking Feeling by mortusnegati 2025-04-10T05:19:27Z

Some important things to know: - The red duck can die with 8 clicks before the timer runs out. If you're too slow, you lose health and eventually die. Sorry if the timer is too short. - The power can and should be turned back on. - You can hang up on the first phone call, it doesn't matter.

The game has a few SECRETS: - You can dial 911 and it will ring forever. - There is a secret duck that appears on the 13th second of every minute.

I used an "expected time played" variable throughout the development. All things scale to that variable and an associated timer. Originally I set it to 10 minutes, but based on how much content we had I brought it down to 3 and a half minutes. Unless you die early, that's the time you'll hit the bottom every time.

Depth Of Debts by Oduvan 2025-04-08T17:49:18Z

I am super impressed by what's here. Amazing to see this pulled off in a game jam. I saw a game like this on steam and I just assumed it would take a long time to make a digging system. Nice work!

(Oh and mouse sensitivity is too small!)

A Call from the Void by Oinkle 2025-04-09T02:31:15Z

The music made me stick around when I realized it wouldn't be easy. Did it by hand and listened to that loop. I gave up though, when I saw the third puzzle.

Don't wake him up by dithom 2025-04-08T19:43:21Z

I got 3960 on my second attempt. I noticed a trick. You can stack objects and then they stay together? Nice touch. Not too useful with the tight doors though.

LD58 — Collector

Loot Lagoon by ChuChuGeralt 2025-10-07T22:27:27Z

I didn't notice until the end when my boat was full that the tentacles can actually steal all your gems at once! I enjoyed the physics-based attachment pile, that seems like it would be difficult!

WonderBot: A Lofty Return by mortusnegati 2025-10-07T21:12:00Z

I made the auto-unstuck system better. Just struggle for a bit it will probably let you teleport out. Collision boxes are a nightmare!

WonderBot: A Lofty Return by mortusnegati 2025-10-08T14:55:06Z

The last 1% is hard! It includes ALL "medium" props (the ones that vanish). Including all 4 air vent covers. Whatever that ONE item you're missing is, it should be possible to get 100%. Thanks for your nice words everyone! If you got all those, then I guess it could still be dust or a thumb tack somewhere. I will look into adding a highlighter.

Canned by Nanaschi1984 2025-10-08T19:14:47Z

It's a good level with textures and furniture and that alone is such an accomplishment. I think the sound loop was a good atmosphere. Your mouse sensitivity is very much too high. I can't even turn my mouse down low enough DPI to play comfortably, but I played uncomfortably anyway.

It took me a long time to notice I was even standing in a black area because they're invisible from the inside. And even with your nice sanity bar animations I still didn't realize what was going on until I was thoroughly stuck in the cafeteria and wondering "how is this so broken??", turns out the controls being incorrect was actually the intended punishment for standing in the place I was standing.

The environmental text boxes: I liked this method of adding writing / narration to the game. I might have missed a few as I was wondering around too fast. It's a nice extra layer of details.

Overall: Pretty OK I think many people will not be able to play with the mouse sensitivity so high, though.
