I love the artstyle, all the effects, sound design and feedbacks that you added, it really makes it comfortable to play it :relieved: The concept is simple but efficient too. Although I don't know if its because Im a slow poke but making it that fast paced is just too hard for me. I'd rather have more complicated level but having the time to do it. But they are also hard to design so I understand that choice.

Great work overall !

Good stuff. wave 46 is the farthest I could reach. While the timer seems to add a lot of challenge and tension to the gameplay, I kinda agree that it makes it too hard to fully enjoy the game. Some of the late levels end too fast I barely have time to think how I am going to solve it and for a lot of them, I was just randomly guessing what blocks should be activated. I think having two modes, one with a timer and one without would be cool if you plan to expand on the game.

The game is enjoyable overall and the concept is quite neat. Good job!

The only thing I regret is not having more time to think about the combinations, I would have seen it more tactical, but it's a very nice achievement

Man, I'm not very good at this. The timer didn't give me a lot of time to think and it was pretty fast paced right off the bat. I'd like to see it start slower and ramp up from there. The music and art style combined were an absolute joy. Reminded me fondly of Mega Man Battle Network.

Interesting design, for me ,it seems too diffcult ,lol

Oh wow this is really well done! Great take on the theme and really creative/fun gameplay. Overall I don't think I have any suggestions to make this better. Amazing entry, nice work!

Got to wave 26 in the 2nd try. I really like the redirecting part and that you have to make sure both lasers have a free path. Gets a bit hectic, but I think thats fair and gives room to get better everytime. Nice Work.

EU VENCI!!!

This was an impressive entry, really enjoyed it and you gave me enough time introducing the mechanics before it started to get a little crazy. The audio was great too. Well done!

Really nice little puzzle game. It took me a couple of tries to understand what's going on, but once I got the gist of it, I found it to be quite clever. Loved the simple art and music as well.

Nice entry overall. GG.

I liked this game quite a bit. It feels like a game in a Microsoft Entertainment Pack. Like something you'd play when finished with Chip's Challenge. The pixel art is easy to discern but also nice and chunky. The background track is a nice earworm, and the laser sound effect is pleasant. Overall, a very fun action-puzzle game.

Reached wave 42! The simultaneous-hit waves were tricky — definitely would have expected a little more time to think the first time it showed up. Cool time-based twist on the classic laser-mirror puzzle.

crylica 2023-10-10 05:45

its a really nice puzzle game, but like others have pointed out, the timer makes it really difficult to keep up with the "threats". I would prefer solving more thought-out puzzles rather than randomly generated levels

notnasiul 2023-10-10 10:46

It's been said already: timer makes it so dificult!! But it's a cool puzzle, you should keep working on it. If you remove timer you could add many other cells like portals or things that eat the laser or who knows. With players having time to figure it out the options are a lot!

That said, the game as is, with timer, is just a different kind of game and not a bad one at all! Nice!

FABULOUS game! Great artwork, great music, great gameplay. I enjoyed it a lot, really clever design, quite innovative, time limit made it very exciting and somewhat different than what you'd think that type of gameplay should be... but it fits very well! At the same time it's very discouraging from trying again. How many times will you have to replay first 30 waves before getting to the tricky bit to finally figure it out? I gave up after two... Maybe separating it into stages where each new stage adds another idea would help? And if you fail, you go to the beginning of the stage (stages having few levels with just one new concept introduced). This way you'd still have to think quickly, it would preserve that core idea of the game but it would allow you to actually retry the interesting bit instead of having to go through the whole thing.

Anyways, it's really good game :)

I love laser mirror games, such nostalgia. This one was very well executed - but I agree that timing was short on the double-hit levels. Superb art style!

Really liked the color scheme in combination with the minimalistic styling and the music! Gameplaywise it takes a short time to get used to the mechanic with the limited time, but after that you really get into a great flow. Very glad that tutorial level didn't have a timer, I got stuck for a while until I understood the burst at the same time mechanic  At first I found it a bit strange that some later waves are "trivial" but makes more sense later on when these turn into small breaks. Really liked this one! My highscore is 51, but not entirely sure because the congrats screen doen't say the number of waves

tetracold 2023-10-19 21:56

Very cool idea

the use of the theme here is pretty creative! I like the direction you took it

The style is minimalistic but it looks great, very clean and well done.

The gameplay became really cool once I understood all the mechanics. it took me a bit to get the hang of it but I made it decently far. it is a bit too much for me at some point but that doesn't really take way from it's arcade-y quality.

Good job on this!!
