A very good game! Had vibes from Spirit of The North :) As soon as I enjoy both animals, spirit theme and more, definitely 5/5.

This was a nice creative game. Nice job!

i may have messed up a lot but i still had fun!!!! what nice vibes in this!! art and music and gameplay flowed perfectly together
Great mood! The presentation is very polished!
It's a very unique and fun game! Finished the story and played arcade a little, and was planning on grinding arcade for hopefully a perfect score, but there are some impossible cases that ruin the run, getting one that refers to itself happens quite often for me (the 3 here), and sometimes the number refers to a letter that's doesn't even exist (the 6 here). issue.png
Other than that, it's a very fun experience! I don't know if you're planning to patch the impossible ones, but if you do, let me know!
@sariiger Thank you for playing, I didn't realize that was a thing. Somehow it never happened during testing. I'll patch it ASAP, sorry for the inconvenience.
Very beautiful! It's presented very well. Very artsy. Love that there is a kitty.
Love the game! I would reccomend to change the ctrl key to something else, as the combination of pressing control and then T or W would be a hotkey for a lot of people!
This was so cool. I ended up playing a lot longer than I thought lol. Amazing entry.

mann i really liked this game!!! :D i like how you came up with so many different ways to give challenge to typing! the music is super classic and beautiful, feels like a movie score, perfect for thinking. you went really hard with the aesthetic but besides that the mechanics are also very strong on their own, this kind of well-executed simplicity impresses me!
@fupi thank you for the kind words! I had a lot of fun composing the music this time. I went for a simple game idea so I had the entire third day just for polish. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@karbirus thanks for playing and for the feedback! I didn't think it would cause issues but realized the next day how problematic having keys like Ctrl and Tab was for web. I replaced them with normal keys.
Ohh I liked this a bunch, very creative and it was cool juggling all the different mechanics when they start to mix together. I only have one complaint which is that when you hold a key for those special hold dots, it seemingly starts sending repeat inputs, which caused me to fail the sequence a few times. x_x
Pretty perfect otherwise, though, snatched my spot at third place with 564 points! Hehehe!
@catusfelony Thank you thank you . I never ran into the bug you mentioned, I'll check it out and fix it, thank you for the feedback!
I feel like im not smart enough for this game. 10/10, my fav of this jam so far :)
i like gameplay and this cute cat 💗
This is great! A really neat take on the theme, and a well-executed idea overall. Took me a minute to understand some of the mechanics (I kept getting stuck on the "don't hit the key until the circle is filled in" because I thought it meant you had to not hit it at all), but I got it pretty quickly. The graphic style is super minimal, in a perfect way - it captures the old-school aesthetic but has the polish of a more modern version of it. Audio wasn't too complex and matched the mood perfectly. Very well done!
Super chill and calming game. One thing that really stands out — there’s not a single mouse interaction. The devs clearly thought about players keeping their hands on the keyboard, and that’s awesome. The letter-filling rules are interesting too. Though I did run into a few bugs that softlocked the game pretty quickly.

@flinge aww I was sure I fixed that bug it's driving me crazy. Thank you for playing and for the feedback!
I was just coming to the comments to let you know about that bug - I was super confused during my playthrough about how the indexed keys worked because I ran into it as well 😅 I thought I must just not have understood the mechanics because of the patch notes saying it was fixed haha
@0x-void-x0 Oh wow, I totally feel that. During development, I spent like 10 hours overall fixing just one mechanic — every time I thought it was done, some tiny issue would pop up. And then, on the last day of the jam... boom, it breaks again. Spent ages once more trying to untangle the logic mess
On a separate note, this game made me go fuss over my cat, who has had his share of health issues over the past year (He's doing well now! But it hit a little too close to home)
Your game is beautiful and super fun to play. Good job you did an amazing job. And it contains cat !!!
@flinge that sounds like a pain, the problem is that I can't get the bug to happen for me no matter what lol.
@koolruz sorry for the misleading patch node I didn't realize until now . I hope your cat is okay, I know I can't live without my little orange creature.
Holding letters doesn't work for me. Idk if it's my keyboard or what. I got about that far in.
For a typing game, there is a lot of variety in this. The audio is top-notch. Visually, everything seems to be in place. The graphics and audio fit together well. That being stated, the connection with the theme is not so convincing in my view. Even so, a fine game you've made.
Very beautiful game, love the crisp pixel art. There is a nice pace and enough change to keep it interesting.
That was amazing, very emotional! The art style and music are incredible. I love it!
we need more "blow up the main menu" button in games! I think this have a great potential as a typing game.
A wonderful game that truly immerses you in the mood it sets. The gameplay is addictive, with moments that ramp up the challenge in a satisfying way. The aesthetics and graphics are absolutely spot-on—charming and cohesive. I thoroughly enjoyed playing it!
Pretty challenging puzzles. The aesthetic was really neat - the warm/cool contrast was really well done. Some great juice/polish.
I had a hard time getting in rhythm with some of the later variants of word challenges. They felt like they sort of interrupted the overall sense of flow I was getting with the game.
Overall though, really neat concept!
I love the atmosphere of the game! The gameplay is simple but addictive. It reminded me "Divineko - Magic Cat" game :)
This game is great. One of your best in my opinion. It feels wholesome. The puzzles are fun and creative I think. First I was like: this is a typing simulator, but after a few levels it got some well thought out variations. I see that you had a very annoying bug that involved the wrong indexes to be shown. I can happily tell you that I did not encounter it anymore, so you can sleep peacefully tonight
The music is very well done and I love how you link to it on sound cloud. The transition between "levels" is well done and gives a sense of accomplishment. The colorscheme is just awesome! I always envy the people who make bold choices like "lets use two main colors" One complaint though: I have a severe case of professional deformation where I start counting from 0 with little sequences like your's, so I had adjust my mindset when counting the second index in the row for instance
@wouter52 wouuuter! I'm so glad you enjoyed my game and it definitely makes my day that the evil bug is no more
I typically go browse color palettes from Lospec as soon as I have an idea, and the more limited the palette is the less endless-possibilities pressure I feel, it also makes for better cohesion.
I know exactly what you mean with the index starting from 1 :crying_cat_face:. It messes with my brain too and I thought about making it start from 0 since most people playing will have some programming experience but thought it's better to try and be a little more inclusive.
Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you approve
@0x-void-x0 I think it is the wise choice to use 'normal-people-counting' in your game :-) Oh and don't be silly  No one needs my approval :innocent: As long as you are happy with what you created during the weekend, that's all that counts right :)
Such a beautiful game, I found it challenging but not so much I couldn't play it. Really love the aesthetic especially. Awesome work!
Really nice game! Great use of colors, it really sets a nice mood along with the music! I like how you managed to bring in so many different mechanics for the letter sequences.
Looks nice, and plays well - it feels pretty polished. For a typing game it's nice, but I'm not a big fan of typing games
I can't quite figure out what's going on, but the audio and graphics are amazing
Absolutely love the art, the animations are so pretty and always love a good typing game ! Well done !
I liked the vibes of the game and calm music :) I appreciate that the timer doesn't start immediately and lets me prepare for the sequence to be able to perform it quickly. I wish we could like pick up background phrases and target them specifically, saying something as an answer to that phrase, but overall it's still feels nice! Good entry!
Where do I even begin with this game? The graphics and visual style are AWESOME! The mood is AWESOME! The music is AWESOME! I really love the little "flash" the texts do when I finish a level! Great touch! Well polished game! It's a moving and introspective game that will stay with me long after the jam!
And you even went the extra mile for a leader board! wow, just amazing! And seeing the kind messages people write is really inspiring! Great game and great people out there!
what a beautiful game!! Your art and audio feel really great.
I loved the visual, and the way you interpreted the theme as emotional/mental depths was really clever. The music is also great, it's not getting boring or annoying on extended play, but rather calm and peaceful in some way, so nicely done there.
The core mechanic is really innovative too, different elements were corporate appropriately, not making it too repetitive but also keeping the player engaged. And the leaderboard is just a finishing touch to it, really adds up to the replay-ability.
One thing I noticed is the text concluding player's results after each session was a bit hard to see because it was blue color on top of a blue background during level transitions. But that is just a minor issue so it wouldn't affect much.
Overall, this is a rock solid entry! And as others have said it does in fact retain special for anyone playing it, amazing job!
Hey, beautiful game, the music, art & vibe was amazing really!
I think I encountered a bug though, made it impossible to finish the game. My first letter would sometimes be wrong while I hit the correct key - not really sure what was going on, perhaps it's on my end, in which case, sorry lol
Well done on the game nonetheless :)
this is a great game. My only criticism is that "memory correct" sound doesn't really fit in. I think it would be better if you had put no sound there at all and let the wind sound from the cat do the work instead.
Pretty cool game and vibe. Maybe a little repetitive, but for a jam, it's a very impressive and polished entry.
What lovely and delightful game to play! Great audio and visuals, gameplay was innovative and fun to play. Great job!
Beautiful soundtrack! I got confused what the <1> and <2> mean and couldn't figure it out anymore while playing :see_no_evil: Tried holding the keys, repeating the key/pattern and also tried the digit buttons... did I miss some instruction?
@leorean I'm sorry to hear, I'm not able to see the embedded imaged but my guess is that you're referring to the memory type that requires holding a key.
The idea is that you have to hold the key, solve the other inputs while still holding the key, and finally keep holding while the sequence is validating until the validation phase (where memories are turned blue) is over.
I really liked the art and music, but I couldn't figure out how to play from the start. I tried pressing or holding the button that was displayed to me, but it kept saying "Mistake". Maybe it's just me, but I tried.
This is a really nice use of the theme. Loved all the different mechanics (even though I'm dyslexic and typing games are my nightmare). Great game!
The game concept is solid and execution pretty good. Graphics are really nice and the music sets up a strong, melancholic atmosphere. I've however found the animations waaaay too slow. I think literally speeding them up like 5x would be a good idea.
Another aspect that slightly bugged me is that it would be more enjoyable if you were typing actual words, instead of random letters. You could put there words that have a meaning that connect to the main atmosphere you want to give and it would be more pleasant to type. It would be easier and so you'd be able to put more emphasis on gimmicks (like typing on color circles only, etc.) - make longer words with more mechanics in each.
Nice game atmosphere, ambiance, graphics, not much into typing games, but still enjoyed it!
Beautiful art and captivating music. I thought I would get confused with the typing, but the challenges are quite fair.
I got very far but I didn't find an ending. Is there one?
Congratulations!
A solid entry. This is not the first game which uses the keyboard as the main mechanic for this 57th LudumDare session, but this one is really impressive. At first, I really loved the blue cat - and its animation. The background story is clever and I have fun playing, helping people. I lost many attempts because of details - texts on screen, music and animations... Captivating and addictive, especially the background music. Well done. Thank you for this entry and your comment about my own project. I wish you the best ++
[Thanks for submitting your game to stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2431006955?t=01h48m06s)
I love how you put a twist on the Typing Game genre with this one. Add to that a charming aesthetic and easy-to-understand UI/UX, and this all comes together as a solid entry right here.
Nice spin on a typing game ! The small different mechanics work together really well, loved the pushed down keys and memory aspect of the numbered letters
I also loved the graphics and little pixel animations, nice introspective piano too!
A little note that i have with the music is that after some time i started noticing the repeating loop because it starts with three bold piano notes before going chill, maybe you can try next time to have some kind of transition sound and then loop without it to have a more transparent loop point
overall very nice !
I expected to be very bad at this game since I don't know how to type correctly but I found that the gameplay is actually very forgiving. I like that the timer starts only after you press the first key, so I had time to plan my moves. Even then, it was still challenging. The art is beautiful and the sound design with the notes going up as the the letters are played is a very nice touch. The gradual introduction of new types of challenges is also very fun.
I really like the mood of this one! Arts are awesome, and music adds a lot to the melancholic mood. I gave up before the end (with something like 300 points), as I lost some sequences, where the issue seems that when I had to hold more than two keys, it didn't works (either by not taking in account the last key holding, or taking it but disable the previous I was still holding). As I read in the comments, this is not the only bug ruining the game. Bugs are a burden when making games for LD, I feal you as I struggle almost each time with weird bugs like those. Anyways, this is still a good entry, and one of my favorites so far, even with the bugs  so: well done!
@byebye Sorry to hear, I'm not sure what could've caused that but it could've been something to do with your keyboard layout?
@lisek-gagatek Yeah, a playtester said the same idea but at that point it was too late to rewrite the logic for that. Looking back at it now that would've made for a smoother more thematic experience.
@euler-moises There is but I understand that it takes a bunch of levels to reach it, I'll make sure to make my next jam game shorter
@geckoo1337 Geckoo!! Thank you for the kind words I'm honored my friend.
@lereveur Yeah this turned out to be my buggiest entry yet :crying_cat_face:. I guess ya win some and lose some. Thank you for understanding a fellow jammer.
@0x-void-x0 Great entry, bugs aside, I still really like what you did here. The Popcorn button was, of course, the best feature :D. How did you get the idea for the gameplay? Also great work on the leaderboard! Another LD another banger. You really improve in small things every time :)
Lovely visuals, audio, presentation, and backstory — together, they created a warm and emotional atmosphere! The main mechanic is very addictive, and I really liked how it evolved over time. New challenges like holding down keys or pressing them in rhythm were great additions. Also, getting ranked was a nice bonus — I actually made it pretty high! <3
The only thing that threw me off a bit was the connection between narrative and gameplay. I’m not sure how exactly, but I felt like they could be tied together more strongly. For example, how cool would it be if the words you typed started forming things like “Forgiveness” or “Spirit”? Even without that, though, this was a super cool experience — thank you so much!
By the way, I also ran into the issue where the keyboard wasn’t responding. Turns out it was because I had different keyboard configuration enabled by default :') Switching to Latin fixed it instantly!
@kujoen I appreciate your kind words . Hopefully next time there will be less bugs lol.
I had a bunch of ideas at the start, from mining to deep sea related ideas etc... I was going for a game where you play as a fish in the depths eating other smaller fish to grow bigger and gain their features but I didn't find it interesting enough so I went for a more "depths of the mind" interpretation, the gameplay was inspired by the bamboo cutting mini-game from Ghost Of Tsushima and I expanded from there.
@missfire Thank you for your feedback! Your point about the lack of connection between story and gameplay is valid, I didn't manage to connect them as much as I hoped. A friend suggested the idea of writing actual words but by that time it was day 3 and I didn't have the time for a code rewrite. I'm definitely noting all the feedback for my next games. Also, I'll leave a note about the keyboard layout, thank you!
Thanks for posting this to my stream! Thanks for being there while I played it. Was very fun to play!
Lovely art!
I promised you that you would see my name in the leaderboard, and here it is. Third place on the first attempt. Perhaps it would have been better, but on the first level I had a non-English layout enabled, so the game did not recognize my key presses. Maybe I'll borrow these mechanics for my projects for something like hacking terminals. It was a good game, and it made me brace myself to get to the top of the table.
Also, I got the name field and the message field mixed up, so here it is))) изображение_2025-04-20_201721803.png
@friend-pirozhok eyyy! Good job man, that's pretty impressive for the first try. I'm not sure what causes the input to bug out when using non querty layout but I'm glad you figured it out.
Thank you for playing, I hope it wasn't too frustrating . Also don't worry about the mixed up name, I think it adds more comedic value lol.
@0x-void-x0 It was a qwerty layout, but it was switched to Russian, so the game simply did not perceive, for example, "E" as "E"
That was so good... Loved the art, the music, the twists on the typing game formula, everything. I did appreciate the time to read the prompt and prepare before the timer started (especially since my keyboard is broken). Excellent entry!
verry moody, lovely.
Beautiful game! It made me think of pets that have move on and want to cherish the ones still here. The sound effect to the next stage can be turned down a bit I think.
I am so glad I finally checked your game! I had it on my list since the beginning! Possibly the last game I play+rate in teh jam : ))
It is AMAZING! It got me into a flowy state and I played for so long! I liked how naturally everything binds together, I liked the overall message and the "dealing with memories" concept.. plus you actually have some challenge and gameplay that is at the same time so simple but makes so much sense and there is progression! I am impressed !
Great job!
@aweskybear I'm honored! Thank you for the kind words
