Very cool concept and also a bit challenging to win! I like it!

Very cool concept and also a bit challenging to win! I like it!
Neat little game, I like it! Its a bit short though and I think there are some unintentional ways of solving some levels since these arrows only activate if you move onto them from the right direction which lets you ignore some of them.
Very ambitious idea for a jam. Its a bit slow at the start but otherwise nice job!
Nice game! My only complaint is that you sometimes spawn on top of a light when changing scenes which makes you instantly loose.
That's a really fun mechanic! Its just missing a highscore system.
Cool spin on the theme. Great sound effects and humor!
Nice game, but I think it would be more engaging if the difficulty increased faster.
Great game and real nice take on the theme. The shooting mechanic is absolutely perfect and a nice side activity while trying to get that perfect lap.
This is cool, such a neat idea of using trail and error.
This is pretty good. I would start increasing difficulty much earlier though since the beginning is not really engaging.
This is really good, though I feel like you just end up finding the best attack and keep using nothing but that.
Amazing visuals! Gameplay is a bit plain at first but gets actually challenging after some time. Good job!
There are some cool ideas here but the game could really use some instructions. Nevertheless I like the mechanic of gathering items and preparing goods for when you next pass by!
Took a while to understand how the game works but after that it was pretty fun. Just needs more towers and enemy variation now.
That's a solid top down shooter! It does get a little plain after a while though since the difficulty doesn't increase on each loop.
Solid game! Needs a few more elements to keep it fun.
Amazing game! Could definitely see it being upgraded to something more!
Very nice game! I like the energy mechanic, since it makes you really think about your moves.
Very cool concept, good consistent limited art style and just overall super clean. I only felt that the game barely started, there were a lot of concepts introduced in a tutorial fashion but then it was already over. Also some of the rooms had a bit too much waiting and less creativity.
But this could be a nice base to built on, the gameplay works well already, so a couple more challenging levels could improve this a lot.
Cool idea! The rain is a really nice touch.
Super chaotic and fun. Good graphics and memes. What else do you want? :D
Actually super creative as a jam game. Reusing similar mechanics to do different things is so fun when done right and you did just that. Sure the art style has some improvement potential but even what you have right now is super consistent and very easy to understand. I really like this game overall!
Cute little game, but pretty easy and short. At least it wouldn't progress for me after stabilizing the potion, and I assume that's just it. Further improvements could be giving the player something else to worry about, like enemies stealing ingredients or putting wrong ones in the pot.
Fantastic game! Great visuals and I like how simple the gameplay seems but is actually quite hard to remember all the steps at first. This could be a super cool minigame collection with more tasks overall. :D
Very hard to come up with good strategy for this one, but that's what makes it so fun. Its chaotic and fun in the best way and a great take on the theme.
Neat idea, but the controls are really difficult.
Wow this is actually really cool! I love that besides getting upgrades you also have to plan and plan your board layout. The art is also super clean and well made!
Incredibly fun idea. I really liked that in the beginning I tried making the optimal choices but later on I barely had time to actually do that and just had to go with the chaos. This is for sure one of my favorites so far!
This ia actually a really cool idea, this would be fun with even deeper mechanics.
There are two main issues that I have with this base so far. The first is that there doesn't seem to be much of a rock-paper-scissors effect between the items, and second once you got your good items you can just chill and don't need the gold anymore. I think both of that could be worked on by introducing more fresh items to find as the game progresses. Then you could also try to look at the enemy troops and look if you can rerol into an item that counters their loadout.
Overall this is super great though, the visuals are great and I think you did a fantastic job with this.
This is beyond clever and super polished. For sure one of my favourites this time.
This is an adorable game. 10 seconds is really hard to find the correct bomb type and cure for, but i guess it takes multiple attempts to learn. Issue then is just that after you learn it you don't have to look it up anymore
Super clever idea to use the 10 second theme without making a game where you have to rush or get stressed about it, but turning into a resource instead.
This game truly stands out to me. The amount of polish, charm and personality you managed to create in such a short time is insane.
I'm also a big fan of the rough pixelart style, I imagine it's fairly quick to draw, but it just wouldn't look this good and charming if the artist behind them didn't know what they were doing which here they clearly did.
Also love the music, but also how each customer has their own sound effect that reflects their personality.
Only complaint from me is that you don't actually have to look at the requests at all or pay attention, since just doing scribbles in black and hitting the bell makes you way more money then you need. I'd actually be super interested to see what actually determines the earnings since its clearly not fully random.
Overall this is just fantastic work and will for sure be one of my high favourites this time.
Wow, great pixelart and gameplay. Even though you can figure out the game quite fast, it's still very fun.
Actually really like this game. It could use just the simplest of menus so you can adjust the sound before bring thrown in the game.
Other than that though this is a fun idea, switching between defending in building is pretty fun even with these limited upgrades. This would be super cool if you had a ton of building and different recources you could produce each "turn".
I also like the simple but expressive visuals, good job.
I like the art and idea of the game, but it feels like I have actually very little control or feedback over how good I'm throwing my pieces. After you made that initial stack of cogs tumble it takes forever to have anything else fall.
Still I played it for longer than most other jam games, it is kinda addicting since every through could be the one to send them all down, which is really satisfying.
This is way too good for such a simple game, just that fact that you hide the color of the buckets brings in that little extra confusion at the start and once that's sorted out you have to worry about bombs.
I think this would be even more fun if there were more meaningful upgrades.
Very cool implementation for a real scanner. It seems to dip the performance a lot, but that might just be because of the browser.
Great entry, it was fun to search for all the unique items in the water.
Super cool concept, but seems very hard. There seems to be quite a lot of room for strategy as well, but it's just so easy to make one mistake and be overwhelemed with hackers.
Love this game, played all the missions. Starburster is the best, and it was so fun to try to snipe mission targets from way out of sight.
There is nothing bad I can say about this game, it was just a blast to play.
Great game, I had fun clearing all the blocks. Sometimes the dwarves would get lost when there was nothing near them, but then you just send them back to a place where there is something.
Soundtrack is also very fabulous, and the pixelart is stellar.
Decent incremental game, and the moose is pretty funny. Sucking up coins is a little unsatisfying because they spring back into place unless you stand still. I also dont like how the moose just snaps into a direction instead of slowly turning. Despite that though, it is really impressing for a single person jam game.
This is an insanely cool concept and fits the theme perfectly. Incredibly well done.
I really liked the heavy knock-back directional combat, even if it might be a bit janky, it was really fun to learn and you could probably get very far without getting hit with a bit of practice.
The map mechanic was also surprisingly cool, but I wonder if how much of a difference the personal drawing makes with floors like this. An auto-updating map would probably feel very similar, besides having to click less often.
Super cool game. I really like the trading mechanics and minimalist pixelart.
Cool systems and world. I really like how the solar ship works too, even though traveling around all the obstacles feel a little clunky. Discovering and photographing all the creatures was super fun though.
Very high on my list of games I played so far.
Pretty cool game and vibe. Maybe a little repetitive, but for a jam, it's a very impressive and polished entry.
@kuboi Glad you like the game that much, we really wore ourselves out making this^^;
Yea, the balancing is pretty off, would have required a lot more time. If you get cards early and manage to get more, it becomes nearly trivial, while if you don't, it's very tough.
Swapping cards out of slots makes a lot of sense for sure, that would be a good change.
And you can see all stats of a card by holding right click, but yes, maybe there could be a better solution still.
@aaronjnc
Glad you like our game! A condition for running out of cards should already exist. If your hand is empty, a "Scream of Terror" is added into your hand, which has twice the value of a normal "Remembrance" at the cost of raised heartbeat. With that, you can try to stabilize yourself and even get your "Remembrance" back.
It's very easy to have a hand overflowing with special cards right now, so this scenario shouldn't really come up much anyway.
@ogladian
Thanks, and yes balancing is not at a great spot since that requires the most time, which we didn't have^^ Enemies do get stronger as you progress, just like you described, and the boss has even more stats so you have an opportunity to spend the rest of your resources trying to defeat him.
The hand overflowing is not an optimal solution for sure. We had multiple ideas to fix that, but none of them could be implemented in time.
Very cool game. My only complaints are that it was very easy to ward off the ant eater with a single blockade and then it felt like there was no real objective other than going deeper and making more ants.
Solid entry overall.
Very cool game, I like the combination of Minesweeper and Nonogramm puzzles. I really can't find anything negative worth mentioning, great entry.
Good art and writing. Sadly very short, but I enjoyed exhausting every piece of dialogue and seeing the endings.
Very hard and I got stuck, but it has some cool ideas and great atmosphere.
@stupidhobbit I think i fell in a pit with 6 zombies and after killing them, there didn't seem to be a way out.
Very atmospheric and cool style.
Cute, short little Shoot'em up game. Controls feel fine, upgrades are fun, though they are so small I thought they were bullets at first. I didn't really find a good use for the bomb, since just shooting felt stronger.
The boss really surprised me, it was very fun dodging these attack patterns. Made me really wish the game was a bit longer with more bosses.
I like the idea of resource balancing and trying to build to a final goal, but with these controls, the speed at which the resources deplete feels way too fast. It was very hard to even find time to craft a single thing before dying.
The art, music and general vibe is very cute though, with a little more balancing this could be very fun.
Very neat idea, obviously reminded me of Carcassonne. Speaking of that, I wish there were more hybrid tiles that have mushrooms and a tunnel on the same tile. I often got lost building a large mushroom cave just to realize I messed up at some point and could never finish it.
Overall solid game though. I really love the art and in-between scenes. Well done.
Head bopping was for sure part of the experience. Very short game and quite fun for what it is. I wish there was a little more variation to it, instead of just hitting the beat 10 times.
Good game! I wish the tongue would be a bit faster at the start when you already cleared out a lot of the bottom fish, but that's pretty much my only gripe. Short, very simple, very fun for what it is and a perfect fit for the theme.
Really cool platformer, the jumps are maybe a little tight, but it's very doable with a little practice. Great game for a jam.
This is insanely well-made for just a game jam. It's very stressful, but the art and atmosphere is just phenomenal. There is very little negative that I can find about this, besides it maybe being a little hard.
Very fun game. At some point, the gravity got so strong I could hardly catch any more fuel without loosing more than I gain, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
Overall just a very solid game.
Loved this so much, I played through all the levels. It's really creative and a perfect fit for the jam. This mechanic could fit really well as part of a strategy game or something. Just really well executed in general.
I would have loved to have the full solar system as a level.
Great polish on this, feels really good to play. It feels like sometimes the ui doesn't do what try to do. I was having issues with deleting the correct card in the shop or copying another in combat. But none of this seriously hindered the experience, its just a really solid game. Also has great style and I like the memorable victory jingle after each fight.
@toshiy You're welcome and thank you. We intentionally kept the scope very manageable to focus a lot of effort on polish <3
@teddyreid Thanks a lot. Yea a lot of your points of improvement are extremely valid. It becomes very cluttered very fast and its a little jank to organize everything in so little space. But if that's the only thing that ends up being a bother to people the I'm fine with it^^
Glad you enjoyed your time <3
@kremlebot Very relatable^^
@majomirez Thank you! The controls should be easier in fullscreen, and if that doesn't help you can also use the scroll wheel ;)
Great level design and very creative abilities. I really enjoyed my playthrough of the entire game <3
Fantastic artstyle with really polished and compact gameplay. Its super impressive you managed to make this in such a short timescale all by yourself.
Big fan of pico8 games and you managed to make something really cool with it here. A simple concept executed very well.
I wish there was maybe a break before starting a new level because often the signal is already colliding with stuff before I have even realized where the spawner is. Overall not a big issue though. Well done overall.
Really cool idea, the very strict timing in these levels makes it more of a dexterity game. Its also a little trail and error since you cant really see where the signal will be able to go from any planet. Overall though really neat experience, but it gets overwhelming fast.
Sprite-0001.png Just a goated game. Obviously very Balatro-like, and not that much to do with "Signal" besides saying it on the button, but just so polished and a great all around experience. Its a little too luck depended at the moment maybe since you cant really choose to play a three of a kind if you dont roll it even when your whole build is about it.
But yea great job, art and presentation is also just top notch.
Very polished game, feels like the base for something solid. Right now it feels a bit too simple, since once you figured out the loop its pretty much solved.
It feels really good to play though, the art, sound and effects are all perfect.
Really cool idea and great implementation. It was very tricky and required a lot of brainpower to actually issue commands, but achieving to execute what you were trying to do is very satisfying. Well done!
