Incredible job! Haven't played a turn based FPS before, this was fun. Is this procedurally generated? If not, I feel like this is the perfect opportunity for it.

In my opinion, this could go far. If you have more ideas, reach for the stars with them! Great style on the gfx and gameplay!

The pistol was a pleasant surprise. The graphics are striking, and I’m curious to see what happens next.

@david-fiattarone thanks for the feedback! The levels aren't procedurally generated because they have some puzzle mechanics. But I'm thinking of it if the game becomes more of a dungeon crawler rpg, as it was originally meant to be.

A nice twist on the FPS genre.

I like that it lets you take your time and plan each move.

I also like the retro visuals and the environment.

Great work !

Крайне странная игра, стиль прикольный. Двери ты зря так сделал, они похожи на лестницу.

The deliberate pacing of the combat is such a fun change from typical FPS games. I especially appreciate the old-school, retro visual style; it gives the entire environment a really unique vibe. Great job wrapping up this concept for the jam!

I really loved the graphic-effect on this game, and the gameplay was super interesting--even though it was simple! I never really thought about the idea of a turn-based FPS, excellent work!

The game is really fun and enjoyable! However, at the beginning, it's not very clear what you're supposed to do or what the main objective is. It takes some time to understand the mechanics and figure out how everything works. Adding a few hints or a short tutorial would make the experience much better for new players. I also really liked the visual effects and sound design they complement the gameplay nicely and create a great atmosphere. The only thing I found a bit challenging was the enemies. They seem a little too strong, although maybe I'm just not very good at the game yet 😅. Overall, I had a great experience playing it!

I love the style! But the shader kinda blurs the map for me, sadly. The core mechanic plays solid

Cool concept, it's both old tech from the aesthetics and old game like Grimrock (not that old though). You did particularly well on the signs and communicating danger, reach, ... The information is always clear and the player can really focus on the best next move. You should expand the concept into a bigger game, I'd definitely play it

Really fun game, the graphics are beautiful! A turn-based FPS is a cool idea. I did run through some levels without killing any enemies though

The movement is really unique, and the difficulty ramps up in a way I like. I kept getting more into it and couldn’t resist a few more tries. Honestly I was attracted by the art style at first, but everything else turned out to be just as good!

This was a really fun and unique game, I loved the artstyle

graphics are awesome, congratulate, the game is really fun to play

Nice game. Love the concept of this one. The only thing that I found annoying was that sometimes it felt like I was moving to the wrong tile.

thatfirey 2026-10-23 00:20 ♥ 0

Feels like chess but with guns with everyone moving either fully in a line, diagonally and etc. Pretty fun puzzle shooter with a bunch of curious ways to solve different situations, great job!

drsmey 2026-10-23 15:56 ♥ 0

One of the best entries I've played so far, a very simple but polished artstyle and also actually pretty fun to play for a bit.

yourykiki 2026-10-24 14:21 ♥ 0

Fun game, I like the vibe and the graphics. Old grid based mechanics with first person aiming 😄 Sometimes look like puzzle too 👍

nikiroz 2026-10-24 16:18 ♥ 0

Pretty cool dungeon crawler!

mr-kvinter 2026-10-24 17:57 ♥ 0

Very stylish!

I liked it. The controls are very elegant, combining free mouse movement with the movement of dungeon crawlers.

oller125 2026-10-24 19:34 ♥ 0

Really liked the turn-based aspects of it. The style and dithering also look great!

metalgear 2026-10-24 20:07 ♥ 0

Truly the Rogue-like FPS, I like it!

I really liked this! The graphics were nice and clean, and it felt more strategic than I initially expected. I did convince myself for a while that space could be used to skip a turn, when in fact it actually attacks (although this does effectively act as skipping a turn *when wielding the axe*), which led to me repeatedly wasting ammo for a while; I think maybe this was exacerbated by the fact that space is initially tutorialized as "open door".

Also, a fullscreen button would be nice (presumably you could just turn on the built-in fullscreen button option on Itch?)

**Very stylish game!** My only thing is that somethimes I had trouble dodging, but that's on me 😄

Good entry!
