LD46 — Keep it alive

Keith's Flint & Steel by johnnysix 2020-05-09T12:30:26Z

Pretty good graphics and mood, liked the music a lot. Pretty cool game overhaul, short but pretty fun ! Keep up the good work !

Extraction by bruins 2020-05-09T14:00:52Z

Good creepy game, maybe a bit hard to finish because of the darkness, but pretty fun. Liked the models a lot !

KidPunk by Squeele 2020-04-23T13:09:09Z

@marakuya We wanted to, but we realized mid-way that our engine didn't support hardware keys, basically, with an azerty keyboards, 123 are &é", so we just used common keys instead

It's Just a Burning Memory by Kent Reese 2020-04-23T10:44:29Z

Great mood, the ambiance was pretty creepy. Not sure if I played the same version as other comments, but I did not find it especially stressful. The text could be on screen a bit longer, but overhaul nice experience. Too bad the gameplay falls short.

Tutu Tussle by GabrielH 2020-04-23T11:01:08Z

Really cute game ! Too bad the browser version does not have music (and no build for linux), watched the video and it sounds really good ! The mood was really well conveyed, with great animation work. The gameplay is a bit slow for me, and get boring pretty quickly, but I can guess you had some more features in mind. Overall, great work !

Infinite Machine by Frostroyk 2020-04-23T13:01:16Z

Good concept, I personally love this kind of games so I'm maybe a bit biased :D The icons could have been a bit better though, ha ha Could have maybe explained a bit more in the guide every kind of items. In any case, love the concept, great game !

Magic Lettuce: The Adventure Begins by Neg99 2020-05-09T13:10:38Z

Nice to have a build for linux for once; thanks guys ! Cool game, funny description. Would have hoped for a bit faster gameplay, at the end you end up waiting more than actually playing. I liked the music and mood, even though I think you could have done a bit more on the lighting, since you were on unity. Overall, liked it a lot !

Air Jump by Konstantin Abezgauz 2020-05-09T12:53:46Z

Funny idea, I wonder how I could finish the game even though I didn't understand the controls haha The font was really hard to read for me, but music was pretty good. Maybe you could have worked on the theme a bit more though

Elementrees by Mathieu Semin 2020-04-23T13:50:00Z

Great game, great graphics, super boulot ! A bit hard to protect everything and controls a bit strange for the abilities maybe ? Didn't quite get the appeal of the different skill trees, but still super good !

Runner 2049 by inact1v1ty 2020-04-23T12:20:44Z

Real performance issues, but I guess if you can play the windows version it gets better. Liked the graphics, but the drones were sometimes really quick to get you before you even see them. Overall really great looking though. Nice work.

Silkworm: Keeping the Game Alive by Roey_Shap 2020-04-23T11:50:01Z

A lot of content, and cute little graphics. Really liked the platform gameplay, too bad it did not last super long except at the end. Really lacked music though. The dialog are the main part of the game, but felt a bit too pushy for me. Maybe a better balance between dialog / gameplay would have served the fun.

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

The Deep Inferno by neonian 2021-04-29T16:13:29Z

Poor balancing, But the art style and music were nice, lacking a few sounds effects maybe ? I think a few more gameplay elements (where you actually play) would be nice additions, and with more impact than the current ones. Otherwise, great base for a follow-up !

Purgatory by Squeele 2021-04-29T20:26:01Z

Lack of graphical cohesion, but REAAAAAALLY FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN 🤤! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED the ending, it was so unexpected! Really cute game I love it! Would love to see that game ported on mobile! Playing this among all my friends at school would be the ABSO-LU-TE BEST! 💪💪💪💪💪

Gold Mine & Debt Relief by yellowsalamander 2021-04-29T15:58:40Z

I feel like the only way to win this game is to mine away without entering actual caves. Except for that, I loved the atmosphere, I got jumpscared a few times ha ha. Got 100 gold, then got a bit bored though. Maybe a little ambiance sound would have been a nice addition to the atmosphere. Overall, great little game, well-polished and with nice graphics !

Cat.Cloukin by Leitinho Dev 2021-04-29T18:31:21Z

Loved the parallaxes, and the cat was cute. Good try ! Next time you can try to gather some friends to help you !

LD49 — Unstable

Colon: Colon by Remco 2021-10-05T19:15:25Z

Innovative little game, would be great on mobile I think ! I think it would need a bit of rework on the mechanics (falling between two cells is a bit strange), and maybe a bit of variety on the music side, but overall pretty fun !

Catastrophy by Fis 2021-10-05T19:42:15Z

Nice game, took me a while to figure out that shift makes you run haha I bit frustrating when you hit your head on a shelf and you fall into the water, but otherwise nice execution.

LD53 — Delivery

Post Apo by Squeele 2023-05-02T19:46:38Z

Really cool art, a bit of balancing needed, but otherwise great work!! Loved the plot twist at 6.66km! Here's my score [a.jpg](///raw/d67/e/z/5acbc.jpg)

Ninth live by evilgeniusdance 2023-05-02T19:19:46Z

Love the atmosphere and the background, but if the comments weren't there I would have thought the death was a bug, a "restart" button is definitely missing. I only passed a few eyes though Really cool for a first game!

LD54 — Limited Space

Plan It Out! by Decipator 2023-10-10T21:35:47Z

It was relaxing, but I feel like it lacked a bit of stake, everything can be undone, which for me defeats the purpose of having a random event queue. I feel like the randomness and the forgiveness of the gameplay were not interacting well (maybe the eraser was an after-thought?). Other than that, I loved the narrative and overall positivity.

Limited Larry and the Lost Intern by Achiru 2023-10-11T00:54:32Z

@flying-dog-fish Could you elaborate on the "confusing" part? Was the UI confusing? The story? The concept of memory management? Do you have hints on how to solve this issue? For me, leaving comments on ldjam is mostly to give constructive feedback and trying to elevate everybody. Right now the only thing we can get from yours is that you didn't like what we wade (which doesn't really need any comment).

And please, if you don't have time to review a narrative game instead of a quick arcade game, by all means don't review it, as you said many others are waiting for reviews.

On the subject of AI art, the rules allow it. I don't think here is the place for an AI or dataset-sourcing debate. You can of course leave one star, but I don't think this is fair for the part of our team that spent time on the UI, the one that took the AI art and fixed it manually with conventional brushes... We were upfront about the initial source of the images, but this kind of comment will just motivate people using image models to pretend they did everything themselves.

Face the Dice by Bastienre4 2023-10-18T14:28:57Z

Pretty cool game, I also got the problem of dices getting stuck mid-game (mine was stuck one on top of another) The concept is really cool, although I feel like it really starts only after a while.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Your Dreadful Majesty by Shess 2024-10-23T00:10:59Z

Really cool game, I did most of the endings and really enjoyed the overall mood, whatever choice I made. I had to finish a few games before really understanding the meaning of the different icons though, maybe a tutorial entry on the icons would help.

LD59 — Signal

Traincidents by YellowKamel 2026-05-05T12:15:57Z

Very fun, except when sheeps appeared just in front of a train! Or when people appeared on both tracks after an intersection and a train arrives! You have a decent margin of error though, so not a big deal; but I still wonder how this margin can be this high, they must really have a good insurance...

Stay Tuned by ThinArc 2026-05-04T15:46:07Z

Cool idea and cool art, either missing instructions or the "tuning" is broken? In my first playthrough I got all the way to the end thinking it played with the mouse  Second playthrough I actually read the instructions so I could actually direct the signal bubbles, but I didn't really hear any change to the music when doing that. It's definitely not finished, but what's there is a good start and has pretty consistent art. You should add 2 lines of instructions on the page to explain the tuning part though.

SIGNAL: Abyss by fourApril 2026-05-04T16:10:22Z

end.png Easy!

Pretty nice, especially for a solo dev. Really liked the art, the palette and style are really consistent. For me a light atmospheric track would have been nice, something really muted to stay within the watery vibes. The echo sound was cool, but the sfxr-style sounds were a bit harsh to my ears, maybe just a bit of reverb + less gain would have been enough. Same as the others, I didn't get at all that the signal repelled the red fishes, but it was useful to see the blue bubbles on the right side of the screen. Not the best game out there of course (actually, one of the best I tried today!), but for a solo work it's really impressive. Bravo!
