I like the innovation here, the mechanic of summoning is a really cool idea, but there were several spots I got stuck simply because I had no idea what you wanted me to type

I'm not big on 4x (if you call this a 4x) games, but this was a neat one. The limited scope gave rise to some neat mechanics. Nicely done.
Ridiculously fun, this concept should not work as good as it does. Love it.
A really unique deckbuilder. I'm not really a fan of the genre, but you managed to pull some interesting twists and make something real neat!
Killer audio and I love the PS1 stylization of your graphics. The humor is on point and overall it's just a fun arcadey game. Nice work!
Some nice puzzles, as others commented, it would be nice to have a tutorial, there's a great game hidden by a lack of instruction here.
Nice concept for a game! Love the soul tracking mechanic combined with the point collection mechanic, keeps you on your toes and keeps a risk / reward style of gameplay.
I made it to 102, alright game, nice and arcade like. I had fun with it, just wish there was a bit more to it.
Liked the scope of this one, one of the more ambitious compo entries I've seen. I liked your graphical style and the stuff to do on the island. I wish there were sound effects, but overall this was really good!
Really good game! Easy to understand yet super engaging. I really liked the stark visual style, contributed a lot to the moodiness and polish of the game. Nice job.
I haven't seen too many takes on the theme in this direction, nice job!
As you said there's a lot of bugs, but there's still a game to be enjoyed here! It seems you have a nice sart to something and you should be proud of that. :)
This is hilarious, I was laughing nearly every second of my time with it. It's a fun game too! Nice job.
Really impressive stuff! I enjoyed my time with the game and found it to be a nice challenge with buttery smooth graphics and sound to match. Really quality work, best game I've played thus far.
You really nailed the humor in this one, the game itself I found to be a bit jank at times, but nothing too bad. It's fun to go around and kill stuff as a baby! Hehe
As a big nerd, I love Conway's Game of Life, this is a really neat take on it! Thank you for making something for John, I was sad to hear of his passing.
Really good game! Nice mechanics, really had me thinking on my feet. Good job!
It's a good shooter and I had a lot of fun with it, but I ran into a few glitches while playing the game.
Funny concept
The game is neat, nice art style. I found it challenging, but I think that's what you were going for. I got through it, good game!
Wow! Great visuals and a really neat mechanic, I really liked this one.
Really like your pixel art style, nice and strak, good choice of color and serves the gameplay well. Nicely done.
Really liked your game, had some good fun throwing the fire around and trying not to extingish it. A few of the levels are janky and difficult to navigate. However, it's a really creative take on the "dont let the fire go out" kind of games!
Had to grab a friend for this one, not too many multiplayer games in Ludum Dare, so this was a nice change of pace. Had a lot of fun being the egg try to not get smashed.
Controls a bit rough, but it's a good bit of fun once you get used to it.
@sausty huh, I thought I had made it keyboard agnostic by using GetAxis instead of strict GetInput, thanks for letting me know!
@lakrits yeah I had trouble with it in testing and gave it a ridiculously large collider, but it didn't seem to help, if I had more time I would have tried finding out what the issue was.
@johannimations it's an admittedly obtuse connection to the theme but the whole sense of you're doing this ghost's? man's? thing's? wishes to regain a sense of the past and "keep it alive"
@uberardy yeah I'm not sure *why* the web build can't be fullscreened, I never explicitly disallowed it, as far as Linux builds go, I can upload one tonight, only reason I didn't in the first place is that my internet is super slow so it's hard to upload anything.
This game is amazing! Wonderful graphical style and a level of polish you don't really expect from game jam games.
Nice game, my main criticism is that you're using rar, I'd advise you use zip to ship your files as not everyone has WinRAR or other programs that open rar files.
Nice game! I really like the tower defense combined with exploration aspect to it, felt original!
Nice way of making a tribute to Conway. I really liked this entry.
You don't give yourself enough credit, this is a good game! Really like the aesthetic you chose, and the game play elements fit well with the theme. A solid entry!
As someone who took a similar approach to the "Keep It Alive" theme, I have to give you kudos for that. However, there's a few problems I had when playing, the biggest being there's a lot of empty navigating with nothing else happening alot of the time. This is a really ambitious game for a jam though and good on you for getting it done and submitted.
Funny game, nice execution of what would otherwise be a dull bob and weave fest. Controls felt good, difficulties felt appropriate, really enjoyed my time with this game.
A nice frogger twist of a game with an interesting mechanic, took some getting used to but I got it! Nice work.
Played this on my Android phone, it's a nice game, but felt a bit odd. Also if you borrowed or derived assets you should opt out in the respective categories.
Nice story, I loved it. The premise is novel and it fits well with the theme.
I had to clone your git project to get things to work, even then I don't think I got them work quite as intended. you guys need to fix the download ASAP.
Neat little game! Reminded me of old flash games I used to play when I was younger. It's fun and it fits the theme, not much more I could ask.
It says on your itch page that you haven't posted anything yet, perhaps you got the wrong link / your game might be in draft form? Make sure that your Visibility & Access part of your itch page settings looks like this: directions.png
The sire hitbox is a bit odd, but I managed to survive, a neat little game!
A nice simulator, but even if the instructions I found things to be a little vague and hard to understand. However, my plants lived long happy live and I'm a proud father.
Super thrilled by the ending of this game, it makes everything worth it. Nice job!
Had an absolute blast with this one (figuratively and literally) what a great take on a city protector sim, nice graphics, solid gameplay with nice controls, everything feels so polished for a game jam game. Astounding work.
There's a few awkward misspellings "Congratilation" but overall the game is fun to play and has a really nice moody art style.
There's a few hiccups in the experience, ran into a lot of control issues, but otherwise a solid experience.
Overall it's a solid experience, but there were a few confusing minigames that have already been mentioned in this thread.
Nice casual game, I could see myself playing this as a distraction while I'm supposed to be working.
Love all the little details you put into this game! The level design is really well done and it felt good to progress.
I like the game overall, but the platforming was a bit difficult at times, if anything I'd focus on making the controls as tight as possible.
A neat game! Liked the tutorial and narration, controls are smooth but I feel off the spaceship once.
A neat concept for a strategy game, surprised you got it all done within the jam. It's really robust and I had a lot of fun, I ran into the known bug on level 4, but I found it worth my time to restart and try the whole game again rather than not see it to completion. Nice work.
This is amazing! Wonderful job.
A really nice first game, straightforward but really enjoyable. Nice job, hope you keep making games!
This is a really good puzzle game! I'm not sure how it fits with the theme exactly, but it's loads of fun.
I liked the weird and abrasive style you put into your game. Very nicely done.
Overall a really solid first game jam game, nice and simple mechanic with solid execution. Hope you participate in more game jams!
Really well done! Nice graphical style and your level layout is very nice.
There were a few jank moments where it felt like I couldn't stop the items from hitting the jar, but otherwise it was a fun little game. Nice work!
Kind of hard to figure out, but it's a really good game once you do! I'd suggest adding some sort of tutorial or instructions on the itch page. Nice work.
Honestly scared me that first time. Nice little racing game
The art style is nice and the game has a nice gameplay loop.
Nice to see a Source game in this competition, you don't see these too often anymore. I liked this game's sense of humor and the multiplayer aspect was a lot of fun, my gmod friends and I loved it.
For your first Unity game it's totally understandable you ran into some hiccups, we all do when starting out! Hope you're encouraged to make more things and see your skills with the engine improve over time. Your game shows real promise, if you had a better handle on the tools themselves I'm sure it would have been great. Keep at it!
I liked the tower defense mechanics of this one and your sense of progression. However, a lot of information was unclear / unexplained and it took a while to learn the mechanics. However after the learning curve it's a neat little game. Nice work.
Make sure your itch page is public so people can see it, otherwise no one can play your game and rate it! directions.png
Very good for a first attempt guys! Hope you continue working it at it and learning. There's a few bugs in the game but it's still very good overall.
Great job for a first game jam game! Had a lot of fun with my brother with this one.
Nice job! It was a bit hard to figure out but once you get the hang of the controls it's a good bit of fun! As @pilarius said, adding a thumbnail for your game can attract a lot more players!
Very nice style, loved the narrative you've got going on here, super moody environment, I dig it all.
The best game of the jam. Wonderful, a beautiful exploration of the trials of parenthood.
I really like your art direction and admire you attempting and succeeding game dev at such a young age. The controls were a bit clunky and the audio kind of meh, but the whole game was all done. I also really like your video, good job!
The feel of this game is amazing, really like the effort that went into the arranging of all the graphical, audio, and gameplay elements to make something cohesive.
I ran into a few glitches with my copper flying offscreen and some weird missile behavior, but otherwise a fine submission! Nice job.
It's a good idea for a game, but there's a few things I have issue with. It's hard to see depth, it's a bit difficult to control, and the game is super exploitable if you just set it up right. It's by no means a bad game, but there's some room for improvement.
Some things were hard to see with the background and aesthetic you chose, but I had a good time with the game once I figured it out.
There's a lot of game here which is super impressive! Hope you continue improving it!
Nice pick up and play game, like how the difficultly scales.
Had some issues with the crowbar and a getting past some of the gates and opening crates, but other than the minor hiccups, it was a really fun game with some s i c k audio and presentation
