LD45 — Start with nothing

One And All by burnedkirby 2019-10-08T09:04:51Z

I really liked your entry. The music and colors really brings a heartwarming athmospere. Good job.

Words against Numbers by Mastoast 2019-10-08T09:40:15Z

@rillep Thanks for the feedbacks. Yeah, you are right about the cooldown, it's just slowing down the game. I added it because spamming keys gived you no penalties at first. I happened to crash too at the last level, but i didn't manage to reproduce it so it's still a mystery for me, sorry for that. But to be honest you didn't miss anything, the endless mode is not that good. it's only 4 digit numbers at a low frequency, again and again, with a score.

Words against Numbers by Mastoast 2019-10-08T15:57:51Z

@matt-rix that's a good idea, i'll update it in the final version of the game. Thanks for the feedback !

LD46 — Keep it alive

Ember Online by Virtual Window 2020-04-23T21:30:01Z

I spent a lovely time in your game, and even had a nice conversation with one of you. It was really cool to see your wish to show us all the hidden features in the game. A very unique experience.

Starship & Hull by Mastoast 2020-04-21T18:00:23Z

Seems like the tutorial is not that obvious, we'll try to uprage this for the post-jam version of the game. For those stuck on the tutorial : - Basicly, every time the camera show you a new location, it's where you need to go - For the moving part, there is a bug, try to press also the keys : A and Z - After the basic moving part, you need to climb at the very top of the ship - After the fire part, you need to find the enemy at the bottom side of the ship - For the refill part, the restock point is located next to the start of the tutorial, at the top side of the ship

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Johnny Lootem's Going Loopy! by Mr_Field 2020-10-07T18:02:17Z

Really good entry, you did a good job with the old-school arcade style, with great music too. The game was a bit too fast for me when the boss get halfed-hp, , but i spend some good time with your work.

Crazy Scientist: Lost in Dimensions by WormholeGames 2020-10-11T22:53:37Z

Nice game, i especially liked the narration without any dialogs, and the space scenes to show the scientist drifting between dimensions. Good work on visuals too, there is lots of different environment and all are well-made. I also saw the attention on the animation of the alien's antenna.

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Gundemonium by AkirAssasin 2021-04-27T09:45:28Z

Minimalist but elegant graphism and gameplay, it's very effective.

Like other said, i think you can improve the clarity of the enemies falling's vulnerability, so we understand better when we can shoot them or if it's too early to shoot.

Delve by notpresident35 2021-04-28T17:52:50Z

Very nice concept ! As a rythm game lover, i found your entry very inspiring. It may be nice to add a score a the end of the run, or something indicating the progression of the player in music, because it fells like we have no point of reference when we die. Also : nice music

Bob by Jin9310 2021-04-26T15:00:35Z

Great entry, I especially liked the pixel art and animations.

The jump feels a bit floaty indeed, a common trick for jumps in 2D games is to increase the gravity force applied on the character when he is falling, it usually feels more natural when the falling phase is quicker than the jumping phase. Maybe you could try that.

Nice job anyway !

Addict. by SachaY 2021-04-27T10:05:22Z

Great visuals and music, nicely done ! I think you can make the platforming a bit better by adding a coyote time on the jump, allowing to jump slightly after leaving a platform. When the game is under strong distortions, it can be hard to be precise on the jump timing

Super Mole Racing by Mastoast 2021-04-26T09:51:45Z

@tomeks Thanks you for the kind comment ! All the game was made in the Pico-8 engine, which comes with a music tracker i used to make musics and sfx

Super Mole Racing by Mastoast 2021-04-26T22:18:54Z

@eboatwright The AI is really simple, you can check it in the source code, but basically : * Always try to go down * Dash against other moles if there is one next to it * If it can't go down, dash to a random direction (left or right)

That's it. I wanted to add a better one by analysing the map, but it started to cost me too much time, so i just went with the basic one

Super Mole Racing by Mastoast 2021-05-10T17:49:35Z

@rocketninjagames thanks for your comment There are actually alternate keys for dashes, you can either use Z and X or C and V, maybe it will suit you more. I can't change the inputs since the game is made with Pico-8, which comes with limited and predefined ones. So keep in mind that you can use C and V for every other Pico-8 games you will find too

Am I only dreaming? by DerGamer 2021-04-26T15:21:39Z

Great entry nice job ! I think you should probably find a better balance between musics and voices, I find it difficult to ear the final conversation during piano chords

LD49 — Unstable

Meltdown by fusionnist 2021-10-10T08:35:31Z

Great entry, I really liked the diversity of musics, all tracks are really cool. Also, it's always nice to see Monogame entries

*Mine* Sweeper by FNR.999 2021-10-05T17:52:25Z

I was able to game the game, but I had to install pygame, numpy and perlin_noise libs in order to launch it. If you already have python installed, the command is : ```pip install pygame, numpy, perlin_noise```

Dubious mushrooms by ocwal 2021-10-11T11:52:02Z

Nice concept, simple but effective. I really liked the ambiance of the game. Also the 3D / 2D mix works really well. Great entry !

Pogo Man by sawdust 2021-10-09T20:06:38Z

I really loved the 3D/2D effects, as well as the picture effect at the end of levels. Great entry

LD52 — Harvest

Star Crystals by OddballDave 2023-01-14T23:02:01Z

Nice game, congrats !

I agree with another comment, a way to show you your last move (last shot and/or last trajectory) can really help to complete levels, especially since we don't have any visuals clues with the space background.

Otherwise, nice polish and visuals (nice filter and lights), and the music works well with the game to set up a calm mood. The sfx on the death seems a bit harsh though

Super Plant Farm by superpokeunicorn 2023-01-09T18:15:22Z

Nice use of the theme, well done

Adelie - Water Under the Bridge by Meep 2023-01-09T17:59:15Z

really effective concept, your game is really fun, it made me bring up old reflexes from necrodancer, i don't know if it's one of your inspirations I agree that the one shot feels a bit harsh when you are learning patterns

Otherwise the progression is pretty well made, the cover art is beautiful, and you handled nicely the penguins scream with Pico-8 limitations

Hyper Harvest by orion-black 2023-01-09T17:35:46Z

nice game ! it's really becoming frenetic the more the level increase.

I think it can be nice to explain the rule of the empty row that disappears, at least in the description of your game. I found it randomly and i didn't understand what happened the first time

Also it is possible to score when selecting 2 empty rows, i don't know if this behavior is expected

My best score was 1028

Pachinko Farm by Vony256 2023-01-11T18:13:32Z

Smart twist of the breakout game, it's really effective ! I think you don't need a lot of additions to complete the game creation, except for the visuals, you already have a solid concept. I can totally imagine levels with diverse bonus/malus effects

I found it a little frustrating when the ball literally crosses the screen from left to right and vice-versa really quickly, as you can't follow anything that falls, but maybe I can avoid the situation when i'm launching the ball

Harvest Reaper by Oliver 2023-01-16T19:14:00Z

Great game ! It has some nice castlevania/NES vibes, and the music and sfx helps to the mood too, it's really cool

The music is great, but i wish the loop was a little bit longer to bring more diversity. Nice entry anyways

Death In Time by Yorsh 2023-01-09T23:43:43Z

Really impressive diversity of skills between the 3D assets, animations, good music production and programming of villagers pathfinding

It may miss a mean to see the lifetime of villagers from far away, as you can't know in which order you need to kill them when starting a level for the first time

Harvest Looper by madcoil 2023-01-14T16:42:46Z

Nice game ! Nice musics too, do you have the name of the VST you used ? It sounds really good, and you succeed very well to recreate this 90s MS-DOS game's vibe

Also, for the gameplay, they are some nice features, like the arrows showing where enemies come from, and destructible map. I feel like maybe an option to switch items could be nice, because i find it not this smooth to switch by clicking. Maybe using 1, 2, 3, 4 keys or mouse wheel could do the trick

You're under harvest by Mastoast 2023-01-09T09:59:25Z

@orion-black the rolling watermelon seems like a good idea, i will test it for a post-jam version Also the restart button is a good idea and easy to add, and it could have helped me during the jam lol Thanks for your feedback !

You're under harvest by Mastoast 2023-01-10T21:58:14Z

Thank you @loig ! Yes i am aware of that bug, it's already fixed on my pc, it will be in the post-jam version

You're under harvest by Mastoast 2023-01-11T10:13:00Z

@plexsoup thank you ! I made a generic Pico cartridge based on previous games i made, so that i already have a working engine and start experimenting early So when the jam starts, i already have a pool of object updating, particle creation, and collision detection between objects I found out that having a template that you can upgrade with every new game you make it a great way to save time and allows you to focus on the creative stuff

You're under harvest by Mastoast 2023-01-12T15:34:06Z

@rickylee thank you for playing, gg for clearing the game. I uploaded a post jam version that can be download on itch where i re-designed the last level so it is not 2 times the same patterns anymore if ever you seek more challenges :eyes:

Desdamona by Zebu 2023-01-11T17:57:24Z

Really impressive entry ! the visuals are great and the game is very well polished with animations, lights and filters, the render is really effective

I also liked the music a lot, the slow waltz fits the game, and the production is good. Good writing also, the intern character made me laugh multiple times with the naive attitude of him

And finally the anti-clockwise twist in a sokoban game is a cool concept, and the explanation is a clever one

I only found the game a bit easy, as there were not so many options of paths when starting levels, so the solution comes pretty obviously. Maybe by adding a bit of noise in the LD i don't know

Anyway, great game !

Necrotic Harvest by TheJookerful 2023-01-14T10:33:29Z

It's a fun game well done

The feature of queuing actions and limited number of table really force you to plan your actions , and constantly check for corresponding signs. The empty table is a also good idea, it really helps in some tricky situations.

I feel like you could exploit the concept even more by putting more tables, but having the delay of mummification increase a little, because currently in some situations it's quicker to chain actions for a single corpse

Radiance by XOREAXEAX 2023-01-15T14:44:51Z

Very impressive visuals, sound designs and musics

However, hearing the same voice over and over can break the immersion, even if the communication effects are really cool. Maybe recording multiple times the same text and randomizing them you could have something that feels a bit more natural, or randomazing the pitch is also always effective.

Well, if the voices are supposed to be robots or AI, then those modification wouldn't be so coherent in the game thought

Reap and Sow by rickylee 2023-01-11T18:28:21Z

Nice concept, visuals are nice, and the sound effects really make it satisfying to collect lots of plants with the same shot

The only thing that bothered me is that i found the fence sprite a bit confusing, i spent like 3 minutes wondering where i should go at the start because it looked like it was closed

Billiard Hero by thyoi 2023-01-13T18:07:07Z

really solid entry, impressive art and visual feedbacks. I loved the 3D effects on balls (well until you can't see the effect anymore because of all the stuff happening  )

The game have a nice pacing, the progression is very effective, it's just a shame that i was spoiled by the GIFs on the project page, I would have loved to discover everything within the game, but i understand that i can motivate people to play and finish the game in a jam context

Playing the game was still very fun, and some suprises worked on me anyway .

Bedlam at the Harvest Festival by VictorRypl 2023-01-16T23:17:00Z

It's so cool to see that kind of entry in the compo format. I can definitely feel the Golden Idol inspiration, that was one of my favorite games this year, and you managed it pretty well

I think that finding a way to give information more progressively could help to ingest information, step by step, because there is a lot to take when launching the game, and it can be hard to go through every page for lots of people (kids nowadays don't read anymore :older_man:), but i don't have any specific idea on how to implement this

Also i think that some kind of tools integrated in the game (like maybe the possibility to write custom notes or draw on the pages to make diagrams or arrows) could help players in their reflexions, and also help with attention and commitment to the game

I'm very curious, how do you design a game like this ? are you starting with the rules first ?

Eon Reaper by Kelvin Mulungu 2023-01-09T18:35:38Z

Very nice shaders. The game also have a unique atmosphere with your visuals and music Otherwise, controls feels a bit floppy, and that can make some jump a bit harder

Last Harvest by resevoir 2023-01-09T18:58:37Z

nice concept, like a real time tower defense. It's always enjoyable to see original gameplay within Pico-8

More levels could really increase lenght of the game. the first one is a bit easy if you rush for the harvest whithout lasers

PROTECT THE HARVEST by Sam Cousins 2023-01-13T18:28:09Z

Congrats for your first 3D game ! it's a nice entry !

The music and enemies spawning from every direction make it really frenetic, but I think that putting more effect of animal deaths could fit in the game, and add to the satisfaction. The blood cubes feels a bit soft

I scored 131.48, thank you for the "Unlock FPS" option, it's a life changer for a fps

LD53 — Delivery

Delivery out of order by stmatn 2023-05-05T10:16:17Z

great game, and really impressive number of levels. Clearer instructions in game could help, i wasn't sure to fully understand the differences between instructions and executions for the scoring of levels

Crank Shot - A Playdate game! by AffinityChris 2023-05-05T10:49:23Z

First time ever playing a playddate game, it was really good ! looks like a great tool to work on for a game jam scope. I think the game could be more interesting if the difficulty increased over time (i'm not sure if that's already the case or not). I stopped after 100 , and i didn't felt any progression in the level. Otherwise, nice music and graphics

That time I got to help my father in his new garage by Seraphyi 2023-05-09T21:11:53Z

Very disturbing game, very memorable. The sound effects are really well made, you really feel the violence when you fail a task, it really surprised me the first time, nice game

Out For Delivery by Groundwater Studio 2023-05-06T21:19:49Z

Really nice visuals, 3D models, animations and UI, and really nice sounds too. The game also feel really good to play, i especially like the effect when hard pulling a cable. As other mentioned, not being able to move the camera on the vertical axis is a bit frustrating, especially when you need to cross half of a room to see what it actually contains. The music was great, but the loop felt a bit short for length of the game, as it starts to feel repetitive quickly Also, the game is very wordy, and it feels strange having the long conversation coming over and over while the gameplay timed not stopping either, it feels that you basically need to stop playing to read or skip every dialogue But enough with all the negative feedback, every other aspect of the game is really well done and super polished, it's really impressive, nice game

CQB drone trials by Tnnv 2023-05-06T20:46:06Z

Nice game! The use of cameras to analyse the level adds an interesting level of reflection, it was fun. I agree with the comment above about the level failure clearing the action queue, it can be a bit frustrating though

LD54 — Limited Space

You Are Beach Cop Sign by Phobos001 2023-10-05T20:47:44Z

Greate entry, especially if it's your first with PICO-8 ! It was really fun to follow the running guys, and trying to follow their unexpected change of direction I feel like the hitbox is not really fair sometimes, as you need to almost overlap your target to catch them, and it can be a little bit frustrating to miss, maybe it can be upgraded by buffering the action or something Other that that, solid entry, and welcome to the pico gang

Dimensional Grove: The Rotational Odyssey by brandann 2023-10-06T16:36:19Z

Really solid entry, the game is beautiful, the music is nice and the concept is really cool I especially liked the obstacles in the other dimension, forcing you to go back and switch dimension again after, it gives a nice dynamic in the game

how you use it by ThaProfesional 2023-10-07T16:05:43Z

nice game ! the graphics are really cool, and the concept is effective. Also great addition to use these medieval sounding like tambourine and flute

Sea Kelp Tower by HacksawUnit 2023-10-09T11:13:11Z

Really cool art and musics, the controls feel nice and juicy, and the synergies with the ball are great. I especially liked having the sea kelp slowing you down, and so having to make quick decisions on either throwing the ball or keeping it if it's needed for the next obstacle Very solid entry, well done !

Norton by Sozey 2023-10-06T16:24:35Z

Great entry, really impressive visuals and music I feel like it's really hard to make precise jumps, that could be caused by the camera keeping the player in the middle of the screen, even in the air Also, i feel like the shooting could be clearer. You don't really see the enemies die, it's hidden by the orange trail, and i was wondering everytime if i kill them all or if there are still up But these are details, solid entry overall

Rush Hour by benskca 2023-10-09T18:21:01Z

Really fun game, i especially liked being able to push people in the black pit  You really managed to bring that chaos race with all the people blocking each others and the high-tempo music

I Hate This Recoil by ddolgov 2023-10-09T18:46:28Z

Really nice game, simple concept but very effective The No Oxygen mode is a really nice addition with nice challenge, that's really cool

Sampler by caeonosphere 2023-10-08T08:50:48Z

Solid sound design and great atmosphere ! It makes you feel your own tininess as a rat lab, that's really cool

Bubble Trouble by Thomas_Bringer 2023-10-08T08:25:14Z

Really great visuals and polish, I especially liked the pipes that brougth you back earlier in the level when you die at different places, it's really classy !

PUNCH by deniskazantsev 2023-10-09T11:48:08Z

Really fun game, the controls felt goofy at first but you can quickly learn and start to setup boxing rotative move which are very satisfying. Great entry

Piper by Kjip 2023-10-08T09:07:07Z

SOlid entry ! I liked the feedbacks when drawing pipes, it really brings life to the game

Blockhead by Fnkee 2023-10-08T09:01:01Z

It's a nice tetris twist, I really liked the character animations (that's what made me click on the thumbnail  ). I agree with most of the comments above, being able to jump just one block more could allow to unlock lots of situations, even if the teleport mechanic is a good way to avoid being stuck. Because it makes you loose points, it always feels like cheating a little

Claustroshooter by José Bonilla 2023-10-08T08:38:46Z

solid entry, musics and visuals are great. Giving more points to the player when the black hole is not totaly expended is a very smart way to add risk/reward in the game, it's very effective

Parking HELL by Vollfeiw 2023-10-06T16:45:35Z

It was fun playing your game, simple idea but well executed, and very polished Controls felt good even if the game was hard, and the sound design helped with that It was also cool to see your own tire track during a level, nice polish

Malthus and The Rocks by Defrag 2023-10-07T16:16:34Z

The game looks great, and I love what you did with the controls, where everything is handled with the arrow keys, even the post-game summary, that's very elegant

Ticket to Mars 🎫🚀 by TheJookerful 2023-10-07T16:31:29Z

I loved the art and musics, there is really a unique vibe about the game. Great entry !

Indcosmus by milq 2023-10-06T10:35:41Z

great entry, the visuals and musics work great for the ambiance of the game. For plateformers like this, there are lots of known tricks to make to character movement fells better that you could use, for example making the player fall quicker than he jumps so the jump fells less floaty You already use a variable jump height depending on the length of the jump button pressing, that bring lots of control  , and there are lots of great tutorials that you can find on this subject, that can greatly improve it even more !

Harborea by googlypoo 2023-10-05T20:26:56Z

Great entry, the ambiant music works well, a i liked details like the shape of the ship for transition screens or the wave effects you used on the water. It looks great

Limited Parking by Krynxx 2023-10-07T15:34:57Z

The game looks really nice and the controls fells really good, really impressive work !

Spectra by red-stake 2023-10-09T11:32:48Z

The game really looks fantastic ! nice work on feedbacks and the background, and also on the level shape-shifting, all the rendering is so cool. As other said, sounds and music for this kind of game could really bring more fun, but i agree with you on what you said in the comments, making a sound for a very repetitive action in the game can also make it unpleasant

I think Vampire Survivor could be a good reference in this case, because it only plays a sound when you kill an enemy, and the sound itself is a quick percussive sound (kind of a popping popcorn sound  ) and so is not too aggressive with repetition

But anyway, very solid entry, good job

Ability Management by Unfinished632 2023-10-06T09:58:21Z

Nice game, the core concept is very effective ! when playing the game, it feels like you just scratch the surface of what you can do with it, and i wish there were more trickiest levels or a bigger moveset I think a bit more polish on the movement or deaths with visual feedbacks could easily add more fun to the game

SHARK MOCKER by T-Z-RYU 2023-10-06T10:10:16Z

Simple concept and well executed, it's a nice entry ! particle effects add a lot to the game Also, having the water level going down is a clever design, it's very effective I feel like having to wait that the character goes all the way up before having the ability to go down again is a bit frustrating, because i would love being able to go up and down in the water. I think it would reinforce the mocking feel, and it could bring some more greed / risk and reward satisfaction

DeskStop-30 by Turner Austin 2023-10-09T21:42:02Z

Impressive to manage to create an OS in pico ! I love discovering creative ways to use Pico-8, and you definitely did great, the game was really fun I especially like the QR twist

Shrinking Universe by Snorps 2023-10-06T16:04:05Z

Nice game, the concept is really great and perfectly fit the theme visuals are very effective as well I saw that you used VCV rack, that's cool. I think the music could use more layers and a longer loop, because it quickly feels repetitive, even if the theme you made is already catchy and fit the game Also, some simple particle effects could improve the visual feedbacks of the game (when catching a coin / killing a bird, jumping / landing ...)

LD58 — Collector

Raccoon Days by kazuo256 2025-10-07T19:41:09Z

I think the raccoon misses a clear hit box zone (maybe just on the head or something), especially when trying to go through tight bullet patterns

Other than that, that's a very fun game, with great music and art. I liked that the sound effects were just at the right balance (it can quickly go out of hand with this kind of game)

Well Done

thoughtscapes by gemcc 2025-10-07T18:42:40Z

It's original, has a great ambiance setup by visuals and audio, and is a great take on the theme. It was fun to go through rooms using every ability, and being able to "cheat" using multiple abilities together

I found that the looping sounds played when you move are way too present, and broke immersion for me

Also I felt like using the key "T" instead of a key closer to the left hand to open/close the thoughts broke the flow of the game, but I can guess that you wanted T for Thoughts, and that's a valid choice

Other than that, great entry!

Frogs' Boon by Hugimugi7 2025-10-07T18:01:03Z

That's a very good puzzle entry. It has enough unique mechanics so it forces you to think without relying on our reflexes of previous played games, and I think that that's very important for this kind of game.

It also has a nice work on visuals and sound feedbacks. The music loop seems a bit short though.

Also I agree with the comment saying that you did a good job introducing mechanics.

I wanted more levels when i reached the end, so that must mean something

well done

Gotta Have It by zircon123 2025-10-07T18:54:37Z

That's a nice take on the theme. The music was great, the effects too but i think some of the are very loud compared to the music, and it takes me 3 times to understand what the broken object sounds was about.

Other than that, i really likes the magpie visuals and animations. The flapping animation brings a strange feedback, because it flaps multiple times when you only press 1 time, it was a bit disturbing at first.

Insane visuals and animations, with high quality audio as well, and the game is very fun. I'm impressed by the amount of effort spent on visuals and audio feedbacks. What a great entry

Formation Tactics: Line Breaker by wdebowicz 2026-04-26T10:25:52Z

Great entry, it's rare to see a tactical game on these jam format, and you add interesting options.

I felt a bit soft lock early in the game, with no way to unlock the situation, and every turn were the same. Also, you should be careful when playing the same sound multiple times, as it does not sound good when it happens. You can easily fix that by adding a random pitch when playing a sound effect.

I've been thinking for a long time on how to make a 1 button game with morse code, and never managed to find a good concept, but you did amazing

I really like the visuals, and all the nice work done on feedbacks, you have a very well polished game as well

great entry, with solid work on visuals and sound design, that give a great feeling when drawing paths. I would love to see more levels with more diversity of obstacles

It's a fun concept, and it's very smart to use this type of concept in a community driven game jam such as the ludum dare, it's very effective.

Visuals are really great, and i think a bit of ambiance sound could bring even more life to the game, at least a SFX for taking a picture of finding the right spot.

Also the mouse sensitivity was reeeeally slow, it was a bit frustrating to turn around (maybe it is needed to match the picture spot with precision ?)

Anyway, great entry, well done !

Here's my 2 pictures (sorry if anyone use the first one in their game, i was testing the limits of the game  )

Safe Haven by PowerAnze 2026-04-26T20:32:37Z

It's a nice scope to make scoring games like this !

I liked the visuals, and i would have loved to be able to better see obstacles before their spawn, most of the time, there is too many things going on the screen and it's a bit brutal when the sea monsters spawn directly under a ship.

Saving GAFAM City! by Pandalk 2026-04-25T12:35:46Z

@eric-nguyen i watched some videos about picotron, it looks fun, but i never tried it. I think Pico-8 and TIC-80 are currently the best way for me to make games with limited scope for 3 days game jams.

very solid entry. You write that you wanted to focus on scope and juice, there are both very good !

this kind of scope is very smart for a 72 hours game jam, you have a game with lots of content, well done

Long Distance by conduit.games 2026-04-26T20:54:49Z

great entry, with a fun concept.

The cursor icon made it hard to be precise and that can be a bit frustrating some times. Also i ended scrolling on the itch.io page when i was scrolling but already reached the bottom of the game, i think the possibility to play the game in full screen could really help in that way, you should have the option in your itch project page.

Anyway that's a great amount of content to explore the concept, well done

Oops! Too Many Signals! by TBK_David 2026-04-25T14:12:23Z

It's an impressive work, especially if it's your first jam.

The core concept is well made. some of the destinations are harder to go to. I never managed to bring a train to the destination #2, because you have to bring it at the top right of the map first.

Also, you could really bring more life to the game with simple juice, visuals and SFXs, particles and screen shakes for exemple, but i know that we don't always have time to implement thoses
