Accurate.
I played two times and not even once I brought home the right tool that my beloved dad wanted. Feels like real life. 11/10
Purely from a game-dev perspective, there were nice animations of picking up tools.
Can't wait for the updates!
Ohh gosh, I really love the aesthetic on the screenshot (big fun of this low res 3d). But I don't have windows to run it, pls make a web/mac version.
love when dad punch me hard
Pretty fun, it's like a memory game where my life is on the line.
The most authentic experience in my life. Thanks!
My dad hit me so much :(
Either I'm dumdum or sometimes the right item would not be at the store, or I would pick the right item and get hit anyway.
@chybby we made it so that you can get new tools if you push all of them out of the box (though it isn't very clear you can do this). will add an indication you can do this in the post ludum version. thanks for the feedback!
Nice game. But was not so clear how to play for the first couple times. Was confused, why instruments are not appearing. Later realized, that pushing is not for cosmetics. Nice art style!
This one is one of the most interesting ones I have played. It feels like a depiction of childhood trauma!
Really like the graphics, wished the game had more to do. Felt like the flashlight part was a missed opportunity. For additional gameplay.
Very disturbing game, very memorable. The sound effects are really well made, you really feel the violence when you fail a task, it really surprised me the first time, nice game
Pixelly graphics and animation are real nice, audio is impactful, concept is... relatable  couldn't tell until reading these comments that you can reset the toolbox if the correct tool isn't there, that bit in the tutorial could be a bit clearer. Cool little jam, if a bit dark. Nice job!
It looks cool, but somehow little is felt in this game. But the fact that you tried to do something like that - well done.
This is a nice entry! the pixel art with 2 different perspectives in really nice, and the idea is pretty innovative, I wish the objectives would appear somewhere in the screen so you can search for the items without having to read a lot of text everytime, but maybe that's just me..
Yeah, i liked it so much : D The concept of the game is simple and works very well. Loved the graphics, different tools and tension to get the proper one : D Very cool submission, thanks for that :)
Lovely graphics, lovely feel, and oddly nostalgic somehow?? This is what a good Ludum Dare entry looks like! A couple of people have already shouted out, but the animations make me very happy from a dev perspective.
I had a great time with this one, keep up the awesome work team!!
Dang, I've never been so stressed out trying to pick the right tool. :cold_sweat:
This game is triggering! The emotions and trauma it created in me was uncomfortable af, but damn, the art and animations are so good!
