Game of the year every year.
Haha, the sounds! Meeehh.
Addicting! And cool mechanics with lots of room for getting better at it.
Amazing, it has a really nice mood to it and the gfx are incredible.
Cool! I love the music, and the game itself has a good challenge!
Nice and simple, but plays well. I love the music. And of course it had to have insta-kill bullets.
I liked it but it doesn't take almost any effort to play! In fact in the mining section I can just hold down Z instead of pressing it and just mine away incredibly fast.
Works on windows! Cool gfx, but odd gameplay. You can fall off the blocks and fall forever! I'm not sure if it's just a bug with running on windows but there's also no sound.
I like the midi metal soundtrack. The game is fun as well but I get killed almost immediately by the huge amount of blue guys.
Amazing! The music is so good. It's just got a cool vibe to it, though I wish the enemies didn't instantly kill you.
Pretty cool! It was maybe a bit too easy and it's a shame there is no music, but I like the take on the themes.
Interesting concept, but maybe not terribly fun. Doing captchas is annoying in general! The text is also impossible to read.
Nice work on the actual game coding though!
Fun times, feels smooth to use and it's great seeing this run in the browser. Did you end up making this in godot?
That was fun! The spinning of the level made me slightly dizzy but I'm not sure how else it could be executed. Perhaps it could be camera locked with a bit of lag so you get the sense of rotation? Cool nevertheless.
@scidev I can believe it's laggy as I've only tried it on my PC :P I'm not sure why the music would cut out though. I had to do some late hotfixing basically replacing all the audio code with more generic javascript stuff because the p5.js system was leaking audio, so who knows what I broke. I think there are lots of things that can be optimised.
@scidev would you mind trying the game one more time? It turns out I was rendering way too many tiles off screen wastefully :D if it works and runs faster I'll file it under "bugfix" which is supposedly allowed under the rules.
@sdelay Thanks I spent my entire art time budget of like 30 minutes on the background and moon hahaha.
@efilheim hey thanks! Yes I made the music using an AdLib FM inspired VST. Inspired by some of my favourite old dos games like Dune 2. Thanks for playing!
@mastoast I used a combination of a Kontakt library called SuperAudioCart and a free plugin called JuceOPLVSTi. Both are great!
@adam-konig haha yes, that's my "oh I have 30 minutes before submission and I don't have a world floor, quick add one somewhere" fix.
Very satisfying, and I learned something about cranberries.
This is so good, one of my favorite games from the compo.
This is just such a nice, pleasant experience. It feels like everything is so polished with nice animations in the menu and the game. Music is also wonderful!
This such a great idea. I feel like it ultimately is an evolution of Snake :) I enjoyed playing it and it gives you that nice satisfaction of some clicker games too. I wish there was a mode that zooms in on the harvester and follows it around so it's easier to see. Well done.
There is something simple and fun about focusing entirely on movement rather than aiming and shooting stuff, and it was cool that I was able to play this with only my keyboard!
You didn't post a link!
This is just a really nice fully featured game, impressive for a compo jam! At first I was a bit confused but I figured out how to do everything after a bit of experimentation which was fun.
Cool game! I love that we came up with such similar ideas for the game loop :D
I can't load the link!
Great puzzle game with a good core idea. The way it's introduced is great as self-tutorialising game, which is just good design.
