Really awsome!
Oh man, this is hard :D Gave it some time but still, level 5 :-O The sound really reminds me something from the C64 era am I correct? It's very thematic, good job!
Very good game, but also very hard. I couldn't pass the level 5 also. lol
This is good, follows theme, has its own clear style!
Nice piece of work! The art style and fluidity overall feel great. One thing I didn't enjoy is that bullets would not kill an enemy that had just landed on my floor -- you have to wait a couple of frames before they can be hit. That behavior kept tripping me up :/ Otherwise amazing!
Really cool game, I got to level 13! Unbenannt.PNG
wow amazing minimal game, have fun
A very solid game! The beginning of the game is just epic. I got to level 22.
I got two remarks: - I had the feeling it was possible to grind the game, when I went completely to the left or right side. I only had to go down and then shoot instant to destroy the enemy. If you would block some parts to go through the floor, you could stop the grinding. - When the enemy jumps down and when I shoot too early, I won’t hit them. Even though I should hit them.
lovely game with a great artstyle, had a lot of fun trying to beat my score each time.
Great game! Great art style and gameplay. I feel that most people will choose to stay at the far left or right. Got catch off guard by the enemy spawning above me at level 12... I wasn't fast enough to shoot them.
Fantastic camera work! Only thing I would change is the AI reaction rate. They fire really fast. Makes fighting more than one very difficult. Other than that very polished and looking great.
Simple but effective animations, liked how smooth they are. Also, a good visual style that suits the spy/shooter theme. Good job!
Loved the silhouetted art style. Simple mechanics invited a lot of replays because I wasn't burdened with having to learn a complicated control system. Satisfying and appropriate sounds too. Very nicely done. I found initially that dropping down levels meant I was shooting at the ground. I wonder in a future version, when you drop, if some assist to the controls could reorient your firing target direction to be lateral rather than down. Great stuff overall! Well done!
Minimalist but elegant graphism and gameplay, it's very effective.
Like other said, i think you can improve the clarity of the enemies falling's vulnerability, so we understand better when we can shoot them or if it's too early to shoot.
Really cool game! My only complaint is the loud beeping when I have to go deeper.
Very nice, very good interpretation of the theme and a unique idea.
The look of the game is striking and sticks to the theme! The gameplay however feels like it boils down to placing yourself on the right place to go down and pressing space right at the exact right point once you dropped. It is entertaining for a little bit though, which I guess is the point of a jam game :).
pretty hard, but very addictive!!
Great fast paced gameplay. The minimalist art style is very effective.
Loved the game. Aesthetically appreciated Once I was killed by a ghost.(if it's a bug).
love the concept and really great aesthetic, good job
Really nice graphics and very fun to play - and also quite difficult in contrast to other jam entrys. Loved the high pace and minimalistic design! The comment by @schwede is true though - its really much easier to go to the complete left or right, but it gets more difficult with the random holes deeper down. I didnt like, that the guys jumping down could not be shot immediately, that was kinda frustrating and killed most of my attempts
Very solid game, I love how there is multiple how there is multiple ways to defeat your foes ! I think some changes in the environment as you go deeper could make the game less repetitive and prevent the player from using the "stay against the wall strategy".
Very slick simple game and brutal! Took me a bit to figure out that I also have to move left and right so I have a chance against those coming from the top and I can jump on enemies
A great submission, really tight across all categories. Easy to pick up and play with with a surprising strategic depth. Nice!
Amazing, wonderful, brilliant, one of the best LudumDare games I've played so far.
Got to level 14. Very fun game, one which I actually want to play over and over to get a new high score. There is a frustrating thing through: you don't hit the enemies until they have finished switching floors. The high-pitched sound is too loud.
I averaged getting to room 8 most of the time. I really like the idea and the overall presentation. It's pretty hard though. Maybe too hard? I can't say for sure, but I still had fun either way.
Quite simple and straightforward to play. Looks good too, aesthetically pleasing. However, the game is pretty hard to play.
I can only proceed successfully to the next floor if I manage to first "dig" down revealing where the enemies are, then turn to face them first before moving down, then quickly fire at them the moment I've moved down. It can get pretty impossible depending on where the enemies on the next floor are facing. Also enemies on the floors above that suddenly move toward me made it even harder.
And due to how the player character moves, it can be difficult to react to sudden enemy movements too. However, I think this game would be awesome if it's turn-based.
