Fantastic camera work! Only thing I would change is the AI reaction rate. They fire really fast. Makes fighting more than one very difficult. Other than that very polished and looking great.

I was unable to get to items, different combat types, etc, as described. That is where I would like to take the game though. The overview is what I want to make, the actual submission is what I made for the jam :). Thanks for playing!
My plan was to have a pause so you didn't have that issue, but as time got down to the wire I forgot to put it in. I understand on the unit confusion. Would like to polish and implement more UI. Thanks you for the feed back.
Oh this is very good to know haha. I most definitely didn't have time to play test that far, do good! I agree with the speed 100%. I wanted the movements to be smoothed by lerping the characters to the next tile, but time just blew away ha. Thanks for playing!
Love that the shop has music emitting from it.
The graphics are nice for the mood. It did take me a bit to get my mind to accept that shooting in one direction meant I had to fly in the other. I was off the screen most of the time. Good stuff here and the 10 second blasts were very enjoyable.
Shot gun is the best in my opinion.
@reax there is some instruction underneath the game. After reading that does it somewhat help? I tried my best to explain it though there are a bit of moving parts that can be confusing. I tried to put more visuals in before the end that would help convey what was going on, but time is precious and I ran out of it. Let me know if those instructions were not updated better and I will delve into it some more.
I enjoyed the turning effects on your space ship and the shadow effects before the flare came. I did find it a bit cramped, which didn't allow me much space to maneuver. Though the solar flare did clean up any excess enemies.
I want to play, but the links seem to have disappeared.
I don't think I can win with a starting currency of 150. My tower couldn't kill one thing. The graphics are nice though.
@reax Gotcha. I think I did place it in the spot depicted above, but I will give it another shot.
Nice! I love dice mechanics like this! It seemed a bit on the easier side and further play throughs might become lack luster. Other than that I enjoyed the game loop.
I must ditto on the deadly romba (not sponsored). Cute little puzzle game, enjoyed it.
Not to shabby. Congratulations on the submission. Game was fun and utilized the theme well. I didn't find my self paying attention much to the modifiers though since the pop up is to out of sight of the combat. I did tend to notice it in the down time. Non the less good work.
Very fun little action game. I don't know if I noticed my hearts going away every ten seconds. It would have been cool to be on the last heart and watch the blood bubble slowly start draining fighting the big chunka Knights.
The flappy hat is my favorite animation! Very fun game loop and hits the theme perfectly.
Very pleasant game. I actually lost most of my members due to not understanding to play. Then I only had my nurse left and was just trying to get the enemies to team kill each other. It was glorious.
I got super engaged. Didn't understand what all the hype about the gameplay was and then I got it. It is like pacman where you have to find gaps in the enemy line and then fend off the more numerous hoard. The graphics where very pleasant as well.
Pretty fun to play. Though the controls seemed a little cramped for often I had to use them. The dash was just a little off for me, but that could just be my broken brain ;). Congrats on the submission.
The lighting system is super cool and added to the atmosphere. I couldn't continue much since it seemed things were out of bounds for my screen resolution sadly.
Pretty fun game. Though I agree with above the diagonal would be nice as well as shooting in the direction of the cursor instead of your last walking location. That is if you are going to use the mouse button to fire. Good job!
The different affects where super enjoyable. The purple one was by far my nemesis ha. Rather just sit still than fight it.
I had fun learning about the new weapons and what they do. Glad I did because the pistol just takes to long to kill one enemy and they build up quick.
I think this is a pretty innovative idea. Though toward the end I did find my self losing some interest. Don't know why, but maybe I need the dice to be a little more responsive ore make losing health more intense. Congratulations on the submission though.
Love the art of the game. Had a few problems just trying to maneuver my troops due to some input issues, but it was entertaining. The mechanic for time being the currency is cool, but I was not seeing it increase much.
