The shoot button being on the bottom of the screen made me skip a lot of dialog by mistake :(
Pretty cool game
Cute shooting game! the player might be stuck in the corner or near the border.
@thiago-nascimento @drsamatha thx for eror messages, game was updated and fixed :)
I almost won on my third run, got to 1 min but got overwhelmed :(, pretty fun. That being said there's a few critical improvements that would make the game alot better: - UI size was far too big, it's important to use scaling UI as it did cover 30% of the top of my screen. Another good solution is to make the UI see through so in case it is too big players can still get information on the enemies behind there. - Adding more responsive controls to the player, in a game which does not allow vertical and horizontal movement at the same time its important to use the MOST RECENT input for better feeling inputs, also saving buttons pressed so the override only has effect for the time pressed - Using more congruent colors, gray elements with red text is very visually unappealing, a good way to go about making good looking UI is to get a colour pallet online! - More feedback for being hit would improve game feel alot, for example flashing red or animations or sounds
Great job on the entry though! Single deving a full game jam game is really tough and you did really well!
nice game! the player's move is quite cute! but it seems has nothing to do with the theme“10seconds”,maybe i understand wrong?
@brandon1037 every 10 sec alien aggression lvl increase for 5%, every 10 sec new enemy spawned ) Doesn't had time to put info about it to game)
@fastandblast Wow thanks for a large feedback, UI size was madden on the knee last minutes before upload because it was too small  , if its not hard to you - can u tell more about second part, or send a link to read more about, i will really appreciate this  About last- yep, it was in plans, just don't have time to do this :sob:
Love your droid ! He could be te main char ! Good game !
Like graphics,I remember my favorite flash games
Kinda like Pikmin...
The graphics are quite good. I think it would've been much better if it would've have been possible to move diagonally. In addition, the aiming and shooting controls are a bit clunky.
Game is great! Thank you for your effort!
Cool graphics but controls are a bit clunky and cant go diagonally
Graphics are very nice, as the others mentioned.
Even though the gameplay is very simplistic (the only thing that stops you from moving are the boundaries of the map, everything else seems to be decoration), on my first run I got stuck bellow the bottom right cactus somehow.
Enemies will always chase you, and they do nothing to the ship or the droid. I don't know if it was intentional, but it seems the best strategy is to just keep running in circles without ever firing. You'll gather a mob of enemies but they will always be far behind you. If I didn't get stuck in the cactus I believe I would have succeeded in my first run.
Maybe there should be some incentive to shooting the enemies? They could maybe lose interest in you and attack the droid, or maybe they surround you somehow...
Anyway, congratulations on submitting the game!
@tex-killer yea plan was wery big, thay should hit ship and droid also, more types of enemy's and real aggression influence but time make it hard to do) and thx for a large feedback
Hard to play. A lot of text :) Very cure graphics! Cheers!
The artstyle is very cute! (:
Cool shooter. I missed the sounds of gunshots. It is also not always clear whether the enemy is in the line of fire with the player. But I enjoyed playing.
I agree to all what predecessors said. The game needs some tweaking to be more enjoyable. Still, it looks quite nice - especially for a first ludum dare entry. Keep it up :)
The art is amazing, I love the main character and the background. You need to polish the movement,I got frequently stuck in the air.
Yeah, got stuck in the corner.
Very cute and simple game.
The main thing that i have to say is that it needs better controls, you cant move in diagonals, it seems like there's a delay when you release the key and the character actually stops moving, also moving and shooting is impossible because the shots disappear for some reason, the character shoots with the mouse click but doesn't shoot in the direction, this is one is just a pet peeve of mine because i think that if you dont shoot in the mouse direction choose other way to shoot.
Music would be nice and some sfx as well.
The art is very cute, if you don't mind me asking what arts exactly did you make? Because almost everything that's in the game came from another asset, as you said on the "Used assets" screen.
Overall was nicely put together, needs some polish specially the movement and controls, but is a nice start and could be pretty fun with some fixes
Cute and adorable astronaut! Also like the robot's design (just like my thumbnail~)
@fedir hello
Pretty fun game. Though I agree with above the diagonal would be nice as well as shooting in the direction of the cursor instead of your last walking location. That is if you are going to use the mouse button to fire. Good job!
Like the art, good game overall
Like the art but the movement feels so imprecise and i did not like that i could spam left click to shoot at the enemies...
Good art , but there are a lot of bugs in the mechanics, and the topic is not fully disclosed " Every 10 Seconds "
hard!but it is really funny!(rate back plz!)asda.JPG
A cool game! I did keep getting stuck but enjoyed learning how to play it & the idea. Great Job!
Like the characters and visuals! I wasn't sure how it connected to the theme but I see you mentioned that above - would be fun to show that on the screen with a big alert every 10s. Also I got stuck a bunch on the walls at the edges like others, and I think having diagonal movement with controls and seperate aimed shooting would be fun (like smash tv etc) so you can move in one direction while shooting in the other. Nice work :)
The art style is very clean and it gives the game a nice relaxed mood. Animations are also top notch - very high quality for a jam game.
The game is held back a bit due to the unconventional character control scheme. Movement on a grid feels odd since the game is real time and you cannot even see the grid. And as many others have said, shooting with mouse feels a bit off as well since it shoots to your last direction rather towards the mouse. Just remove the grid movement and allow player to shoot to the mouse direction and the game will already be a lot better.
That being said, the grid movement creates some interesting glitches in the current build. You can run forward, tap back and shoot and you slide to the movement direction and shoot backwards. I personally enjoy movement tricks like this but I would still prefer a more conventional control scheme.
But overall, a solid entry art-wise. A few tweaks to the movement and shooting and this could be pretty good!
I like the Flash Game look of the art, however the gameplay itself was pretty glitchy and hard to control. Also basic things in the overall feel like the lack of feedback when killing the enemies is unfortunate, it made the gameplay feel very unrewarding and unsatisfying. Still, kinda impressive and cool stuff to be made this quickly only by one person, so props on that as well.
Interesting concept, that can be evolved into a full-scaled casual game. First things first, I would suggest working on bug fixes and allow diagonal movement. It should make gameplay more smooth. Pause the gameplay during dialogs would be great too. A few times I got stuck on the level's edges, but "Go to center" button helped a lot. 5.jpg 6.jpg I guess it was mentioned already, but UI really covers a lot of space and you can't see the main character when he is roaming at the top. You can try to make it smaller/transparent, or make the camera FOV/viewport/etc larger instead. 9.jpg

Still, I think this is a great entry, and wish you luck with further development! :muscle: :blue_heart: :yellow_heart:
great visual. LOVE it!
Very cool game, the visuals are very beautiful! Good job!
