This is one of my favorite games so far. Nice sound, nice arcade feel, fun and simple. Feels polished. I wish it would have gotten harder faster though.

This is one of my favorite games so far. Nice sound, nice arcade feel, fun and simple. Feels polished. I wish it would have gotten harder faster though.
The gameplay seems very similar to "Don't Starve". But it's fun! It's impressive what you did in 48 hours.
This game really hooked me. You should develop this game further!
Feels like playing an old gameboy game, very nice!
Innovative game play. I couldn't hear any sound or music though. :( I know you wrote that there is music but it didn't play for me.
It was great fun to fight those bosses. GJ!
Nice 3d models, good AI, fun. Well done!
It's a nice game with great art, the game concept is simple and fun. Good luck!
I like the robot, nice game idea and graphics.
I like the game. I had a bit of trouble to see the enemy bullets because of all the large particles flying about. They became kind of camoflaged. Otherwise great!
Nice game. Looks like you put a lot of effort. It was a bit tricky to learn what to do but it was cool.
This is one of those addicting games. :))
Nice game, it was fun to play. I was hoping there was a way to "win" though, or get to next level or something.
Nice graphics and good gameplay! Well done.
One of the best games. Excellent job!
I can't say much about this game other than well done! The game is well made.
5-stars, very nice game. I'm impressed!
I like the game idea. Although I couldn't get far because some of the special-characters wouldn't be detected by a Swedish keyboard. For example '[' which requires Alt+8 to be pressed on a Swedish keyboard.
I would love to try this game, but I don't feel like installing and compiling stuff. Could you put up a compiled version? Preferebly WebGL version if possible.
Love it! :)))
Amazing gameplay, good graphics, music everything, well done!
Cool animations, nice theme and gameplay. I felt it to be too easy though.
Nice game. Nice graphics. Web version didn't work though, had to download it. Just a heads up so you can fix it.
Fun to play! I would have enjoyed if there was a timer, so that you could race against your own records.
Very high quality game. Great animations etc. Would have been nice with single player AI to test it more thouroghly.
Cool game! It was fun to play. Well done.
I was expecting having to download the game but then it took me to a web version which is great! To encourage people to play and rate your game I would recommend you to add the web-version link to this page. Because right now it only says "Windows" which may deter some people from trying it.
Fun game with very interesting idea. Good music. I wish there was more game play but you really managed to produce a lot in this short time frame. I think you could extend this game!
Very cool mechanic. Very simple but effective graphics! Nice feel to the game. The boss was too hard for me but good job!
You have good music and sprites. I didn't manage past the second wave though but it was fun until then.
The game was slow at first but then it got more and more interesting the further I got, as it became more puzzle-like. It was very different and interesting to play through. The ending seemed a bit rushed but totally understandable in 72h.
It's a good game, good job!
Nice music and sprites.
Thanks for the nice comments! The ammo is actually unlimited, you can change weapons by picking up new ones though.
About controls freezing, this is an issue when playing in Chrome. Please try Firefox or download Windows version.
@bruins, thanks for the feedback. We agree on the UI. You mentioned that collisions are a bit buggy, we haven't experienced that our selves. Did you play in Chrome or Firefox?
@thygrrr, great feedback, we actually had all those things in mind, but not enough time.
Interesting graphics!
Fantastic game. I found it a bit too hard to find a good strategy though but I like it, very fun!
Well done, nice art and sound effects. I find the movement and fighting a bit weird though.
I thought the orphans were worms trying to eat you up. :joy: It was a humorous game, made me laugh a few times, especially when finishing. I managed to dash my self outside the map, which was pretty cool (even though it's not supposed to happen).
I liked the movement, and that you can see where you're throwing the baby.
A lot of different and interesting conversations, but given the nature of the game (talk to as many as possible in short time), it made me skip the dialogs just to get a higher score. Perhaps the game could pause it self while reading, so that the player gets to enjoy all the conversations?
Also, great work on the graphics.
Very nice art.
I walked through the first door. Then found a picture, and couldn't get any further. I looked for the next object for quite some time without success, and then I got bored.
It's a very ambitious game in such short time, so I understand if it isn't finished.
Great contribution non the less!
Extremely hilarious game, good job! Love it. Even though I couldn't finish the game!
Really nice graphics. Fitting with christmas theme, great mood.
Controlls felt nice. There wasn't much of a challenge though, I never received more than 25% on the stressbar. I would find the game more enjoyable if it had more gameplay mechanics.
The music was also really nice, but the "toggle music" button doesn't work (bug).
Amazing how similar our games are indeed! Good work, and thanks for your comment!
@vasco-rodrigues Thanks for your comment.
The theme is that you run faster the more money you collect, and it makes the game harder. Mr Pump gets so obsessed that he wants more and more, thus running faster. ;)
@yodog I would like to try your game but I can't find it on your profile. The "Games" tab is missing.
@doomshmuck and @yodog, We have changed the controlls according to your feedback, thank you!
(The player can now either tap, or hold down a key to move, but the character will only stop in his lane.)
Fantastic game, graphics, music etc.
I loved the way you fly, the gravity was a bit too high for me though, I died really easily. But the game is really cool!
Cool game idea!
I went ahead and demolished every single planet. Is that sufficient for a hyperspace bypass?

Jokes aside, I love space games so I found this very interesting. Good job.
This game is very similar to a game I made during LD40. But I must say your game is much more fun to play. You also have some very unique game mechanics, collecting powers etc. Really nice idea! However all powers did the same thing, according to your description, green power should make you immune but that doesn't happen. That is just minor bugs that I'm sure you can fix in no-time.
All in all, it is a very fun game and a solid jam game, well done!
@geck0 Ah I see! I didn't read properly. :) But don't worry I didn't let that affect my grading.
I wanted to try your game but the window is just black. I tried both the original and the post-compo. Let me know if you've been able to fix it and I will come back to try again.

@juxipolo Here you go mate. ``` The following information was included with the event:
MSG: File loading error: ScaledFont base/font/medium bold STACK: INNER: System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.ParseSingle(String value, NumberStyles options, NumberFormatInfo numfmt) at GameLib.fileUtils.
@juxipolo Nice, it works now. I'm very much into drones my self and this drone planting concept is really cool to see in a game. It was interesting to play. An idea if you want to extend the game, would be if you could attack your enemies, or maybe if you could use an aggressive plant to eradicate enemies plants or such. I think some sort of combat mechanic would add an additional dimension to the game.
You mentioned in your video that cards in a real-time game didn't turn out so well. But I disagree, I think the implementation of this card system works quite well. But of course like any game, things can be tuned forever. Especially when it's made in less than 3 days!
Very nice with a HTML5 version. My best is 5. How on earth did you get 17??
Very impressive game idea. Never seen anything like it before.
Neat contribution!
Really cool game! I like that you're able to stack the items on top of each other and inside the shelves. Nice attention to detail. I think this game could have the potential to become a real game.
It feels very satisfying when you manage to succesfully dodge those spiky things. I got 18 in score. I don't know if that is good or not? :)
Got 188 quite easily. The mechanics are interesting.
I felt the best tactic was to avoid the enemies and only use space for emergency situations if something is about to crash into you. Trying to play pool with the enemies was more fun, but less efficient score-wise. Maybe that is something you could try to balance. Very cool idea anyhow!
As @kungkras said. Great use of simple shapes.
@Anudin I'm not sure, but I think if you click on a circle, it aims directly at them? If you could instead aim manually around the target you could make it fly certain directions like in real pool. Correct me if I misinterpreted the mechanic.
@anudin My mistake. I tried the game again and you're right. I didn't realize you had a small circle around your cursor. It makes a lot more sense now.
Very nice game. Reminds me a bit of Fortnite but with an entirely different gameplay. It would be nice if you could post the changes made in the post-jam version.
Anyhow, it was fun to play and this is a very solid contribution, great job!
Fantastic game. I like the story. :D
Actually a very fun game even though it is so simple to play. Perfect implementation of the theme. Good work. Very unique to see a working high score list! That made it much better. By the way please delete my high score entry named "Imsorry". I was just having some "fun" with the game code.
Very neat idea. I like that you made the game mechanics into listening to the sounds. Nice twist of traditional maze games. GJ!
Veeeery fast movement but I like it! It feels good.
Great game I like it!
@iokin We currently don't have a Linux machine to test if it works okay. We might add a Linux version in a few days when we have time test it properly. Thanks for your interest.
@paulo-augusto Thank you.
@benjamin-armour, @comenoha I don't know how far you got into the game. But around 600+ kills you will definitely feel the theme in my opinion. As you will have almost no space to drive whatsoever. Thanks for your feedback! Note, it spawns more enemies the longer you surive.
@aevek Glad to hear that. Them hooligans deserved what they got!
@nam-nguyen Thanks for the suggestion, I like it.
My record is 1010 kills. Can anyone beat it? :)
@mike-inprinciple Carmageddon was one of our inspirations. :) We made this contribution for fun. No plans to make it a "proper project".
@dj-depressive Definitely. But we only had so much time. :) Thanks for playing.
@daanvanyperen Haha yup!
@wetbox Nice! Now I have a reason to keep playing. :)
@ursagames Thanks for posting that review, it was great fun to watch!
Well who doesn't love adware. Funny game!
Beautiful artwork. Did you draw all of it during the jam? Anyway 5* well done.
Nice contribution, I like the idea.
Fun game. I agree with what @bichodust said. Bouncing back from the spikes would be nice.
Pretty cool game, well done!
Cool game!
Very beautiful graphics!
I really like the game idea. Well made etc. Well done!
I'm trying to play this game, but it crashes while loading the main menu. No log files. Win10x64, i7, 16GB DDR4, GTX1070.
Let me know if you have fixed it, so I can come back and rate it!
I used to play stick games a child, brings back old memories! Brutality is key!
My favorite game thus far, sweet game mechanics. Nice and polished, many stages. Gj! Something that could make this even cooler is if you add some time trial challenge, maybe high score list fastest times on each level.
I like the music, it's really cool that they start playing the instruments that you pick up. Impressive!
Space games <3
Very fitting music!
Nice graphics well done.
What an ambitious project to take on in a jam! Amazing graphics and lots of content, well done! And thank god for the save feature!!!
This is actually a really good game. The game mechanics are really smart and it's fun to play. Well done!
@sn4pi Yes that bug is known. The game sometimes "pauses" when you die and then it is not resumed. It is an easy fix but we haven't gotten around to do it yet. We also prefer to not make a post-release, it's kind of cheating. Sound, yes please! But there was no time , hence why we opted-out. Thanks for playing and for the honest feedback.
@ave Thanks for the feedback. About the controls, when you hold right click AD actually becomes strafe and you can instead turn the camera with your mouse. We choose these controls because it is how you move in games with a similar view such as WoW, SWTOR etc. Your suggestion is to remove the right click and make that control style default?
@pyrian There should definitly be a boss if you follow the path. Perhaps he escaped through the trees. The trees not rendering is an unfortunate side-effect of having a spherical world. The camera in Unity thinks it can't see them, thus not rendering them. The camera angle can be tuned to prevent that from happening, but we didn't have the time to make it perfect unfortunatly.
**Some dev thoughts**
We decided early to make a game that challenged us technically and we knew beforehand that the game would be *incomplete* because of it, given the short time of 3 days. Thus, our goal this jam wasn't to make the most enjoyable game but instead something that is rather unique / uncommon.
Making the world spherical had a lot of time consuming challenges. From the start we used a sphere object, made our own gravity system etc. At that point, the world was an actual globe. However, half-way through we decided that using what Unity calls *Terrain objects*, would be really nice for making different levels, especially the feature that allows mass placement of trees, making hills and drawing textures on the ground. It's basically a great level design tool.
From what we know, no body has made a curved world from the *terrain object* before. So we had to make our own custom shaders for every different type of object in the world including the terrain, which the latter has no documentation what so ever and it needs to support drawing multiple textures on it (which it now does!). As if that wasn't enough, every regular object needs a different custom shader to curve along the terrain. And every particle effect also needs yet another different shader to to follow the curved world.
By using the above, we could also use Unity's physics engine instead of making our own hack like we did initially with the gravity. *(Because the world is actually flat, but renders curved to the player.)* The result turned out pretty good technically speaking. However, level design, music, bugs etc had to suffer because of the little time left over in the jam.
The reward for all the trouble is knowing that future level design and game mechanics will be so much better and faster to make if we decide to continue developing the game. However, I'm personally unsure whether a spherical world adds to the fun or not for the players. Maybe it is more annoying than cool?
*If you have any feedback regarding whether a spherical world look and feel good or bad, we would appreciate it.*
I got to level 9. I really like this game because it's so simple but still fun! I got punished a couple of time when moving around and accidently touching edges. I think the controls could be improved by making the piece move in a locked grid instead of freely.
Nice job!
Impressive how you managed to fit so many mini-games into one game in this short amount of time. It was interesting and fun in the beginning but I died on purpose on day 9 because it didn't feel like I had any progression. But given the short time (3 days) it is impossible to include more content so good job!
@hestrateja I understand. This is a 3-day jam so no game is perfect luckily. :)
Fantastic entry, feels very polished. Can't really say much else honestly. Great job!
My record is 101. :) Took a BUNCH of tries!
@nightvision65 @dimlight Indeed it is very hard in the beginning but we like hard games. Once you learn how to kite the enemies, pull them into spike balls etc, it becomes a lot more interesting to play. With that said, spawn rates, movement, power ups etc could definitely be tweaked. In fact everything in this game could be improved a lot. :)
Good gfx, fitting music, interesting concept overall. It's clearly a well made game. However, there are no penalties for dying so that effectively makes your life infinite and the whole game becomes super easy. Also all the enemies except the last boss seems completely harmless and pointless since you can just absorb them all by spamming E. The lack of challenge takes away the fun factor and the sense of accomplishment when progressing.
@austin @thatanonoword Hi, thanks for the feedback. Altho it's not true. It is intentional and it depends where you build. You have to be strategic about how you build (part of the challenge to find good positions). However below is one initial strategy that works.
Tip: Quickly build one tower near the large rocks in the center. It will get the first tower some time to shoot down one enemy, which is enough to get to 100 credits. Then build a second tower to finish off the first wave near the goal.
That will get the cash flow going.
@josephwalker Thanks for the feedback, I agree.
@lomstfer Thanks. We definitely need a wave counter! @william-baker Thanks! Yup turns out balancing a TD is really hard.
Well done! Really nice graphics and music. Was a bit hard to throw things the right direction.
Interesting game concept with different levels etc. Very playable. Waiting for an attack to recharge felt a bit long as you couldn't do much in between. Dodging enemies felt too easy, I'd suggest that they try to hunt the player down.
