The level design for this is incredible, I tried pretty hard to break / glitch my way to certain triangles and was pretty unsuccessful. I felt the rotation mechanic does get kind of annoying with how slow it was to fully rotate.
I felt the mechanic reveal was a bit late into the game, I was about to just close it since it seemed so uninteresting without it.
I love the simplicity in the game mechanic. One critique, it starts out really slow, and doesn't feel like it gets faster quick enough. Definitely could be a great mobile pass-time if you polished it a bit.
Well done, definitely a ton of polish went into this. I really enjoyed the simple art style, although the night cycle felt a bit too dark.
I love the simplistic style of the game. Excellent way to convey controls and how to play without introducing a tutorial. I will say the first couple times it was difficult to judge which square was going to hit first, It may just be that im bad at rhythm games. Perhaps having a line attached to each square that went around the center so you could quickly eyeball its distance relative to other notes.
Fun little game, definitely a 5/5 in humor. The movement worked out well, although I wasn't really sure what caused the screen to go blurry and snap back? I assume it's just to add flavor but initially I thought I was causing it by doing something wrong.
although it was hilarious, I wasn't a huge fan of my legs also causing a sleep state, not a big deal though. The walla climbing was hilarious as well. Excellent work!
The art style was nice and simple, I think the red tinting works well for the general theme of the game. I think it suffers from a lack of content, although the general gameplay loop was enjoyable I think either going for the 'feel' of the current gameplay, or adding additional depth to the gameplay would have improved this greatly.
Some sort of sound cues for killing or transforming, anyhting to break up the background music. I will say I didn't enjoy the control scheme, but that's just personal preference, there was no issue with it.
Some bugs I found, eventually the religious AI stopped moving completely and were stationary for random periods of time. Maybe not a bug, but I was also able to kill villagers within the religious dudes light radius and get away quite easily.
Good take on the theme, decent audio, great visuals. Overall a solid entry, good work!
I'll be honest at first I thought this was going to be a cheap remake of Downwell. You perfectly captured the art style of downwell either intentionally or unintentionally. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it looks great!
Gameplay loop was solid although it would have been nice to have a longer 'combat' section. Overall a decent entry, definitely an excellent entry graphics wise. Good work!
I really enjoyed the simple graphic style on this one. It's cute and sweet. The humor humor adds a lot of character haha. There's a lot of systems going on here, I'm rather impressed it works so well.
I did find a bug where you're able to pick up both water and a log at the same time which cut down on my trips back and forth a bit. If you grab a log, and pass over the waterbucket in the snow heater you'll carry both. Perhaps show some sort of indicator a crate is coming up? I ended up reversing just to check it out, sort of annoying to stop PERFECTLY at 5km (but i guess the idea of the game was to be a bit annoying).
I would have liked a way to 'stop' the projectiles fired by the eskimos. It was sort of frustrating to still be hit by them even though I had killed all of them because I can't dodge the projectile chasing me.
Overall pretty good.
The sheer amount of content and writing put into this is very impressive. That being said, I would have liked to see some way of 'remembering' combinations that failed, and possibly a 'tech tree' of recipes that I've discovered. Stopped at 6/33 but this could be a really interesting mobile game.
The level design worked out perfectly. I really appreciate keeping the game short and sweet rather than going for tons of content. The 'puzzles' felt like actual puzzles where I had to think about my moves rather than just a point a to point b we see in a lot of jam puzzle games.
The art style worked well, and while the music was repetitive I think it worked well as I didn't really focus on it which is a good thing.
Overall it was a great game. Only suggestion could be some sort of short cooldown after moves (even just translating the character from one tile to the next) just to avoid accidental actions.
Ends up being pretty difficult for such simple words. Good for a couple play throughs, and the theme was implemented in quite a unique way. Good work.
Love the style, although I might increase the thickness of the wireframe, it was sort of distracting with the aliasing on it. The driving was tight which is surprising given it was a game jam. I did encounter a sort of physics bug when rear-ending another car at high speed it flung me over them and pretty high up on a wall. It would have been nice to give the other cars different colors just for variety sake. Overall Excellent work.
Cute game, at least up until throwing cats into fire. Found the controls mildly annoying. I'd suggest F drop, E pickup, R Restart, Space Jump. ZXC felt awkward when using a/d to move.
You could also save all the cats on the level jumping over the fire pits with the massive tower of cats. (not sure which level it was). The collider is a bit large for the cat and allows it to 'hover' over the fire if the edge clips the platform, letting you save that cat after landing on it.
@matharoo Sorry to hear. I'm not really sure why that's the case with your setup. Sorry for no windows version, I was having build issues with it (yet somehow not webgl).
@slovnoslomo Yeah that's definitely where the game is lacking right now. It's kind of difficult to explain the concept without a short tutorial or something. Thank you for the feedback.

I managed to get hard stuck here, oops.
An excellent minimal games with a bunch of depth, very difficult too (or I'm just bad). I skipped around a few levels, and the quality definitely didn't deteriorate between levels. Honestly with some quality audio this could be a real genuine full release, the level of polish is great!
Only criticism I have is q/e spin a bit too quickly.
Like the others, I'm having no luck finishing it. I do think there's lots of strategy involved in this though, being able to re-roll letters seems incredibly useful but I wasn't able to make much use of it. Perfect execution of the theme though, I love the idea.
Interesting game, I don't see many pikmin style games, so it was cool to play this. The first bee I encountered kicked my ass and massacred all my ants. Not sure if I should have just waited to generate more or if they're too strong, but it was funny at least.
You should mention holding still will drastically increase the speed of ant production.
I love the minimal art for the cat. Cute little game that reminds me of flash games I played when I was a kid. Super noisy background definitely detracts from the quality though.
For 5 hours of development it's a decent job.
273 was my best
It'sreally fun game. The hook audio was a little repetitive since you're spamming it so much, but not a big deal really.
The art is wonderfully done.
Only real complaint was the game felt just a bit too zoomed in.
Had quite a bit of trouble figuring out who was higher in the air when 'fighting' an enemy. That combined with the jump button feeling extremely unresponsive made for a less than enjoyable experience sadly. I wanted to complete this game too.
I like the environment though, it looks great, and I think with a better camera angle or something it could be a lot of fun to mess around in.
The sound was super cool with this game. I love the idea, I loved the gameplay. Like everyone else it became absolutely unplayable. I left it going for just a little bit and finished. Would have liked to see a bit more on the 'end' level but aside from that this game was super cool. You nailed it.
Love the art style. Always a huge fan of the 80s vector graphics style. Audio goes well with the game. I will say it was kind of confusing getting dropped into what I assume is a 'for fun' level that's completely randomly generated boxes as my first level. After restarting and getting a standard level layout, it was a lot of fun. Game has a lot of potential as a fps runner game like deadcore.
Excellent job.
One of the better gamejam tower defenses I've seen. Definitely wish there was more to do during the game. After clicking through the dough at the start I was left to spam click on one or two towers for a good few minutes. Maybe dough dropping from enemies or something would have been a nice touch?
Overall a quality tower defense and for what there is it was executed very well.
