Really slow for me, at 1 FPS. Running 8th gen Intel HD, graphics card is gone for repairs. But a simple game like that should not be this slow. No Windows version provided either.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD45 → Building Keys

Wow this was super original, I really liked it. It's an interesting game. Solid entry, and a great job!
Well, I liked the game, but I spent about 10 minutes just to understand what to do😅 It would be great if there was a video. Good work!)
YEAHHHH! I beat it!
Took me a while to understand the mechanics. I didn't realise you had to sacrifice a building to power the other buildings, but once I understood that it made sense how to play. I like the keyboard control stuff, but it's awkward to play. This could work really well on a touchscreen, and you could have different shaped layouts that aren't tied to a keyboard. Different shapes would require different techniques for powering awkwardly located structures.
Great job!
@matharoo Sorry to hear. I'm not really sure why that's the case with your setup. Sorry for no windows version, I was having build issues with it (yet somehow not webgl).
the concept is amazing. i really like the keyboard thing!
the only issue is it took me a while to figure out the controls and especially how to «activate» the buildings on the sides. the logic behind that wasn't obvious for me.
nice entry!
@slovnoslomo Yeah that's definitely where the game is lacking right now. It's kind of difficult to explain the concept without a short tutorial or something. Thank you for the feedback.
Cool game! Was hard to understand at the beginning, and also a bit slow-paced at the start, but it is fun playing it and also the graphics are great.
The start as mentioned above is hard. I did create a forestry and then deleted it. Then I had no ressources left and had to refresh the browser. But that did not stop me from playing! It was fun to play overall. I still dont know how you created that many buildings on that many keys though. Doesnt a building on key "X" get destroyed once I type "X"? It was really cool that I had to think about where to place buildings, what keys I dont need to type the next building that I need. Really cool mechanic made me think a lot, well done!
The controls are a bit weird but the idea is really cool ! Maybe it lacks a few more sound effects too ? The game looks good and polished, great work :)
I had quite a hard time picking it up, but as soon as i got it i had a great time.
Idea is really cool!!! I like that your keyboard is a place , empty place where you need to feel it wisely with buildings!!! Great Work!!!
Wow, hope you make a full game based on this!
I like the tactic part where you have to be sure of the placement of your facilities
That's a very out-of-the-box game! I liked the tactical aspect, as well as the eccentric controls. It was a bit confusing at the beginning, but I got the hang of it in the end. My only gripe is that he end goal takes a while to get to. Overall, I loved this one!
I tried for a while and I couldn't learn how to play. I guess it was my bad but I couldn't play at all.
I didn't know what to do at first, but I managed to play to the end. Very interesting concept and everything worked together very well! Good graphics and audio. I could probably spend a lot of time in this type of game if there were more things to build.
Very nice entry. A bit confusing on a different keyboard layout (the ; is on the same key as , on mine) would be great to allow for a "custom layout". Would be great if keys were still readable when blocked out :) .
Would love to play a fledged out version of this - good job!
