nice gameplay man
A fun game, very satisfying feel to the car when it turns and the back of the car swings out and hits the enemies. Could maybe do with the fuel tanks being a bit more visible and a few more types of weapon/powerup would improve replayability. On the whole though a very polished and fun game :)
This was pretty fun, i find the controls were pretty easy to understand and it felt silly to me also with the football and the flame thrower and the dialogue lol. Eventually i just did donuts in the street till i died but i could see some neat little strategy spew from the game. the art was cool, and fit for the setting. though the theme was a bit low, i guess its more up to interpretation since more enemies did mean you were running out of space. Overall pretty awesome game!
i dig it, the explosion when you die was a nice touch. controls were pretty smooth.
@iokin We currently don't have a Linux machine to test if it works okay. We might add a Linux version in a few days when we have time test it properly. Thanks for your interest.

Brilliant Physics! There's something very satisfying about the way the car slides into hooligans, and watching the fountain of bodies created by the ball explosion is memorising!
The driving of the car feels good and squashing people too ;) good job !
Dang, remarkably smooth gameplay. It felt polished and complete. Doesn't quite hit the theme mark, other than maybe running out of space-bar like some people have been doing. I love the background music, and I love how smooth the sounds and animations are. Well done!
Interesting idea. At first I thought that it is pretty easy, but I didn't expect that many enemys
it just feels so good when you get a bit of speed and just drive through a horde of enemies. the exploding football is also a really good feature. everything else is also good. this is one of the best ld42 games i played so far. well done!
@benjamin-armour, @comenoha I don't know how far you got into the game. But around 600+ kills you will definitely feel the theme in my opinion. As you will have almost no space to drive whatsoever. Thanks for your feedback! Note, it spawns more enemies the longer you surive.

- The **car control** felt very polished. Pretty amazing stuff. - The **visuals** worked together nicely, especially the flames and blood.
- The **music** could be a bit more pumping and louder. - I'd like to see some changes to the **gameplay** to allow for strategies and skill, maybe a bigger map - The **hit animation** of the zombies could be a bit slower so you don't get all those driveby hits - The **UI**
Those are my takeaway points, congrats for delivering!

Graphics are superb, and the game-play very fun. Excellent jam game!
Love the graphics, Probably be better to have a bigger map(I know the theme contradicts that), The Panel at the beginning of the level doesn't cover the entire screen(you can fix that by selecting "none" for Image in the image component of the UI gameobject)
Looks great and feels great to play. I appreciated all of the hooligans' shouts as I burninated all of them. :D

This is the kind of scientist I want to become when I grow up.
I agree with what people have said, and I also think the AI could be added with some randomization so it looks less like bullets with a different graphic and slower speed. You could pick for example, every 5s let a zombie turn to a random angle [-45, 45] (so it still faces the player) and this change in direction happens for like 1s, then it starts heading back to the player. That could add some variation to the movement of zombies. Overall, a pretty fun idea with clean implementation
Damn those hooligans! Overall I enjoyed this game quite nicely and it was quite nice. Good job.

Reminds me of good old mindless fun games like Carmageddon. Had a good time playing this, though I'm not sure where you could take it as a proper project. :)

I feel like the theme of the game jam actually dragged down this concept more then it did good. The core driving mechanic is really fun to use in combination with the flame thrower. But the less space you have to drive around the less fun the game becomes.
With a bigger map and a dynamic camera not only you could pump up the feeling of speed in the game, but also allow for more strategic drifting and a more fun difficulty curve.
Overall i do think it is a very cool game and without the limitation of the LD theme you could really do something with it!
This was so amusing !! Game feel is excellent, once big crowds attack you it's pure fun, while remaining very challenging. It's also intuitive as hell. Controls are smooth and seem fair, this is a game with a high skill cap, and it shows. It's really good gameplay-wise :)
Graphics are also quite well-done for a jam game. Hooligans may lack variety, but the car and decorum are really well done. Sound design makes hilarious references !

I had a blast playing this! It's really satisfying to fishtail around splattering people all over the place lol. The game looks and controls great. The audio is good (would have liked flamethrower sound though) and you made great use of the theme. Excellent submission!
it's very fun, but cruel)
- The core movement of the car feels really good
- The game does not tell me or indicate to me kind of the ways I should move the car around in order to maximize my carnage
- You take damage in situations that do not clearly indicate what I have done to get that damage, in some cases it's like I think I hit people hard enough but I really didn't. So that's confusing.
- ( personal opinion) the flame should have given the car a bit of a boost would have been a nice extra resource to manage in that regard
- Probably should have moved your health and fuel bar to bottom middle instead of upper right. As that is really far away from the action, and takes a considerable amount of eye/ mental power to check. In a high "octain" game you want to make sure to minimize that kind of information gathering
- Again I want to reiterate, that the base movement was solid, I think that by figuring out ways to get the player to do fun things with the car, that would execute better kills and reinforcing that in the game would have been better than the flame thrower
Woah! Where's the footbal in all of this!? lol Not sure if this is intentional but when the game started I was stuck almost instantly. I notice the car does not really turn unless you accelerate, which I guess makes it realistic, but given the nature of the game I was hoping to at least turn a little bit before moving forward.
Once I understood a little more of what was happening, I was able to just do donuts while flamethrowing enemies only stopping to get fuel. :D
I do agree that the car physics itself felt good and fluid and fun but the initial get going just feels off. Good job. and I like the little comic book style message bubbles that appear now and then and how the different ways enemies spawn.
The controls feel great and the whole idea is as silly as it is fun. I guess my only "complaint" is that the music could have been a bit louder. Great job guys!

Funny. Made me think about zombie driver. Imo it lacks some "spices" to add replayability. Maybe add some bonuses that pops on the floor. Or add a combo mechanic that can unlocks another football ball. Good work overall!
