not a bad little game, the one thing that bugged me was that i couldnt rotate the box with A or D, or arrow keys. i instinctively went to A and D to try and rotate. i would like to see an escape menu while in the game, i had to alt tab out in the middle of a game to close it. you can only retry so many times before you just cant no more :D. other then that really nice game.

So much clicking... My finger hurts. But I've completed all the levels.
It's cool how you came up with so many different mechanics given such a simple concept. The progression was very good. Camera rotation felt a bit uncomfortable. I've noticed later that you can rotate using mouse wheel, but still it was a bit weird.
Good job with your enrty!
Love seeing 3d games. The art style is great!
Good graphics really liked the art style
Hey nice job here. intuitive controls with the mouse wheel. Are all your sounds made with your mouth ? :D
@tontonpizza yes they are. And that's why the mid range is so busy. Had no time to mess with the pitch too much. It is what it is. :) Thanks for the kind words tho!
Lots of great ideas in this game. I'm impressed at how well you managed to make the levels feel varied and unique considering how simple the idea of the game is. Love the audio, I think it stood out above just about all else.
I like this a lot. It's polished for what it is, it explains the game to you, and it's fun. It has a funky weird aesthetic that pulls togethers its strengths. The silly voice sound effects work well when paired with the strange aesthetic that feels half arcadey and half vaporwave-surreal.
It's also deeply satisfying to click an object as it's flying out of the box. A great entry! Super cool execution on a simple idea!
@ian-kettlewell Thanks so much for checking it out, Ian. Just a curiosity, did you play it till the end? There are superpowers you unlock later in the game. :) Just curious!
@mike-inprinciple I didn't play until the end. I'll revisit later though, it's fun!
I love this game. Act like a small treasure hunter to find treasure in someone's trash. Great Game!
In some resolutions the Text at the sides is cut off. Nice game anyway.
I can't manage to launch the Windows Build? The launcher dissapears when I click on it :(

Really like this game, really polished. Later levels really add to the game with enough new elements anc challenges to make it fun. Audio and graphics are great.
As mentioned before lack of arrow keys (or AD) is weird and using the mouse wheel took getting used to. Shortvuts for the special powers would be nice too. Bombs where also a little hard to spot when upside down.
Overall really great game.
Really cool and fun. At one point the level started before I clicked go, which wasn't great, but otherwise I loved every moment of it!
@mazzletov hey there. Not sure how to help you as you are the only person who has experienced this problem... Do you have any more details for me to help you?
@neuralcoder LOL, I forgot to mark it down as only supporting 16:9 resolutions... My bad :D I'll add a note in the desc. Thanks for the heads up!
This is the best hidden object game I've ever played. It's so good that it feels like an insult to call it a hidden object game. Whenever it introduced a new mechanic I would think to myself, "This game has MORE content!?!" All of the 12 levels are unique and fun, seriously the quality of this game has left me stunned. This is definitely the best compo game I've played so far! 😃
Adorable. The sounds and art are fantastic.
Fun game ^^ I found the sounds weird though x)) I think that with training I can do best than what I did x) cool game :) If I have one thing to say is that you could make keyboard shortcuts for the arrows at the bottom of the screen.
Cool overall game :) Keep coding :)
This game has the best sound effects. Genuinely loved it!
The first game in this or the last LD that made me laugh! The sound effects are great, but what no one's talking about is how fun it is to blow junk around with right click. Risk, reward... great mechanic!

I had to alt-F4 to close the game, please make sure there's a way to exit the game from inside it! This game is good, looks nice, and plays well, just not for a laptop. The waves seem too close together to really pay attention. Rotating the box never seemed useful to me, and taking time out to save junk seems detrimental since you could be using that time to remove junk and the precision needed to save junk is just too much for me. I noticed that there was no penalty for clicking, so the best strategy I came up with was just rapidly clicking and moving my mouse around. This got plenty of hidden junk. I feel like there might be some merit in making accuracy be important, but if you do then you'd definitely want to increase time between the waves.

Very fun game. The only criticism I can give is that difficulty curve is pretty bad. Some levels are much harder than the others. Couldn't get past the shrink level but all other very really fun. Cool take on the theme!

Fun game! I initially thought I wouldn't enjoy the gameplay but I ended up playing it for awhile and really enjoying it. The sound effects were hilarious. Overall, a very solid game jam game.

This game is pure sugar. Amazing to play, love the sounds love the concept. Only complaint is level 2 felt like it went on a few too many waves. Great job!
Thank you for reviewing my game on your stream. In return I played your game on my stream at https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames

I loved the style and I thought the audio and graphics are amazing, fun and a good idea!
@saoi-games Thank you so much for playing my game! I've watched the video and you have clearly identified the biggest issue in my tutorialsation process, unwittingly. In fact I think you may have enjoyed the game much more if you had known this: "Don't worry about being precise when you click. Just click like a maniac". Here's a video (timestamped) to show you what I mean: https://youtu.be/tgQmRRNJ9xw?t=947. Anyway, thanks again! PS: You have a lovely voice!

this game was really fun to play, the graphics are super fun and variation in levels is really impressive. Like someone before me said, being able to rotate the camera around the box would be a nice feature. But this was a really fun game to play and I'd love to see it continue development

This was great, 4.5's and 5's for everything. My arm is dead though..

Really nice game :)
I love the approach with the sound effects. Once I figured out you're not punished for wild clicking it was a clickfest par excellance. All comes togehter very nicely.
Great job!
Cool audio and neon graphics! Very good game.
@gexalmighty Thank you Gex! The game does take a toll on you if you play to win and get A+ in everything. It's a lot of clicking! :D

It is quite engaging, I always wanted to play the next level. The graphics are very nice. However, I would like to see a better purpose for the money you earn, not only for scoring metrics. Overall, I had a very good time trying to save some space for the next wave, well done!

Very fun! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 42 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/Bq9IqSUYX8Y

I really liked the game mechanics and in the beginning, the game was really much fund. But after a while, it just got too much clicking. I would have made the levels shorter so your hand does not get that tired and you are really able to try all levels. Also I missed an Exit button or an exit by Esc. Really nice work though!

Really fun game. It took me quite a while to realize that I can rotate the camera but when I found that I can finally get an A+ on that first level. And so I grinded for about 10 minutes, got that A+, and then I realized that there are more than one level. Welp.
Quite a complex sorting process was wrapped in simple mechanics. It made the routine more fun.

Started out really easy, then got pretty challenging as the box filled up. I like the visuals, nice job on the models. The audio was repetitive and got a bit annoying as it went. Some variation in frequency in the audio or something to give some variety might help a lot with that. Good use of physics.
@jupiter-hadley Thanks for covering the game! Shame it's only one minute, cause you've only scratched the surface of the mechanics the game has. Bet you didn't know you can slow down time, Matrix style. :D
@lagoe I covered your game on my stream after you left I reckon. Gave you a pretty good eval I think. Nice job, our minds seem to think similarly, lol.
Surprisingly fun for a game that was just clicking stuff on your screen. I liked the sounds/graphics and the game was a good challenge. I spent the whole time playing thinking it would be nice to rotate the view, but after reading some of these comments, I guess there is. It might be good to make that more obvious somewhere in the game. Also if playing in 16:9 is important, you can enforce that in the player settings section in Unity.
First of all thank you for your evaluation on your stream ! I was really surprised about the sounds all made by mouth, i really appreciated that since it was well made ! Maybe a little soundtrack in background could have been great. Graphics are not incredible but it's ok. I thought that was a nice little experience but it gets repetitive really quickly and on the last levels I didn't had so much fun. I definitely see this game for kids thought, they should really appreciate it !
Great game here! I loved the sound fx put in to each object, blowing them to make space actually felt really good as well it gave the game a lot of personality. The chaotic nature fit the theme perfectly, and watching objects fling out and just managing to save them last minute felt really good. Would be cool to see even more variation in the objects and in their sizes. Great entry!
Really nice game with good graphics!keep it up
It's really fun! It's one of the best ludum dare game I've played for the moment. I love the audio, and physic is fun. That's a really good job!
Great audio and graphics. Once I realized there was no penalty for missing clicks though, I started just clicking randomly and it kinda ruined some of the fun.

I really like the game idea. Well made etc. Well done!
2018-08-15 20:26
The sound is off. The flat shading on your objects are weird. Either you go for a low poly look or you use smooth shading. At some waves I did not have the chance to catch some of the objects they spawn are were directly out of reach.
I enjoyed playing it but I faced one problem. Some of the unwanted objects were hidden and even I had time before the next wave I could not remove that. the sound effect was really funny.
I liked the game and idea(One mans trash another mans treasure). Anyway great job on the audio and 3d molding for something that was done within 4 days. I hope the game was a little longer.
Overall fun and interesting mechanic, the sound effects are also out of this world!
However I thought that clicking on an object you were supposed to keep would be detrimental and since it was not I simply started clicking as fast as possible and got A+ every time. I think I would add negative scoring when clicking on the wrong objects and along that more precise controls over the rotation of the box.
@skippynose2 Hi, thanks for your feedback. Just to clarify, the game was made in 2 days, not 4. Also, could you clarify what you mean by "I hope the game was a little longer"? Did you think I didn't have enough levels? Thanks!
@constantin Thanks for your feedback. I just wanted to address a thing you've mentioned, because it comes up quite a bit. The casual nature of click everywhere to win was my intended design. Unfortunately, I have failed to communicate that to my users, so most of them experience the unintended learning path you described. This, coupled with the fact that the scoring system is out of whack because I ran out of time to balance the game properly hurt my game quite badly. I have a quick question if you can spare the time. Do you recall how far you got in the levels? Did you unlock the super powers? Thanks again!
Fun game and interesting mechanics. I got a bit irritated with the sounds after some time playing it though
@mike-inprinciple I stopped after level 3 iirc, I definitely think you should introduce those super powers earlier since other than that it gets pretty repetitive. Also I've got nothing against the casual nature but since this is your goal maybe you should also add more juice to the clicking (like screenshakes, a big counter that pops every time you hit multiple things very fast, etc) so that the players grasp your design intention more easily.
@constantin Great suggestions. I agree with all of your points. Thank you.
Overall fun and interesting mechanic! I really enjoyed the game, I love seeing nice and polished 3D, the SFX were pretty awesome, how did you make them lol. Great game and keep improving on it, I see some awesome potential
@ajay-2002 Thanks for the kind words. I made the sounds in 2 hours, in the middle of the night using my mouth. Each object has 4 to 5 samples it can trigger randomly on collision. The system sounds are also mouth sounds. I took some of them (like the end level jingles) and gave them a +1 octave ghost track, so it sounds more robotic.
As for improving it I'm not sure... Not sure this is anything other than GameJam material.
It's a solid game, I quite liked it. I have a problem connecting the fact that unwanted junk is the one that is colored, while wanted junk is same color, know what I mean? Also I am not entirely sure I understood the "mouth blow" mechanic. It would be great if I could turn camera with key strokes, e.g. "E" and "Q". I am really impressed with the quality of audio you can achieve with mouth sounds, really good! Cheers! :)

I've played a lot of Cookie Clicker, but this game still hurt my hand after only a few levels. This game was interesting in that even though I was only having a meh amount of fun, I still felt compelled to keep playing, so I guess you could call it addicting. I would've played more levels, but my hand seriously hurts because you have to spam click so hard. I thought the sound effects would get annoying, but they were actually entertaining. Pretty alright game overall, as simple as it is.
I thought the game was very well executed! Clicker games are absolutely not my type of game personally, but I found it to be very well done nonetheless. It's a very simple, but that comes with the territory of course. The graphics were well made, the physics felt good, and everything overall was very cleanly done. It had a good, polished feel.
I felt that the sounds detracted from the game quite a bit, getting to be annoying rather quickly. Once I turned off my sound, I certainly found more enjoyment in it. I do wish that there was some way to close the game outside of using alt+tab and closing it from the task bar. Simply adding the option to press Esc to close the game would be sufficient.
@joe-sycalik Thank you Joe. I agree with everything you said. The sounds were made in 2 hours, at night, using my voice, and in the desperate attempt to make the varied on the sound frequency spectrum, I made some too loud, and I ran out of time to mix them properly. Not an excuse, just a fact.
As for the Esc key, ditto. Which admittedly is a little silly, because it 3 lines of code.
Thanks for playing!
This is a fun physics-based game, controls are very simple so it could work for either mouse or touch controls (I'm guessing you designed the game with tablets or mobile devices in mind?). The voice-based sound effects are pretty effective and add a sense of humour to the game.
Having the ability to rotate around the sides of the box is good, but it would also be good if you could also look above and below the box as well. I also wonder if there is a way to avoid junk from overflowing, like maybe allowing the box to be shaken or moved.
@gamepopper Thanks for taking the time to play my game and evaluate it. To answer you final point, there are two super powers that unlock later in the game, one of which is shrinking the junk, which helps with overflow control.

I feel this game would have its highest appeal in the mobile gaming industry. I got to level 11, and the difficulty ramps up rather quickly, but it'd probably be easier if my finger wasn't hurting so much. I'm willing to bet that using one or two fingers to tap on a touch screen could greatly ease that pain, thus bringing the difficulty down a notch, and extending the average length of play time a bit more.
As far as game design goes, my only issue was giving the player cash as a reward. If there is a mechanic that allows you to spend that cash on something, it definitely needs to come sooner than level 11... Otherwise, it might as well just be a high score. The powerup mechanics were interesting, but it also seemed like they were required in order to complete a level... So perhaps allowing the player to buy more of them (or buy a different variety of other powerups) could feel more rewarding.
As far as technical issues goes... Everything was flawless, aside from having to Alt+F4 to close the game. All in all, this is a very well made game with very little to complain about.
The sound is hilarious
@spectrecular Thank you for the well thought out, spotless feedback. I agree with all of your suggestions for improvement.
LOL a game with just as much clicking as mine. I liked it. polished and fun. well done.
I have to agree with other comments here, this would make a cool mobile game. Well executed and fun to play. Great job

Overall the quality is high. I especially liked saving gimmicks it was good feeling. Modeling is so cute. If putting a stage to search for few bad junk in between stages, may be it was kind to hands. Anyway I enjoyed this so much! Great work!
Lovely little game, I especially liked the sound it was really funny sometimes haha. Good job overall. Please do check out game too may be you'll end up liking it.
@mike-inprinciple Man this is some other level thinking and i do agree with others on porting it to mobile.
I was running out of mouse click :joy:
Without jokes, this game is really cool! Love the sfx you made on your own ! The concept is really cool ^^
Great work !! Best Compo game I've played so far :p
Maybe you could checkout our Jam one ?! ;)
@thibaultar Thanks for taking a look at One Man's Trash. I have checked out Xorn and I've left you extensive feedback on your game. Hope you find it useful. Cheers.
i loved 3d models !! Nice job !!
WOHOHOHOHOHOHO, COOOOL. I really like your graphics. THe game is fun and interesting. Very neat idea. Good Work dude
