Nice game, but quite hard! :O The idea is really good and I love the graphic asset. You even put a way to stop the music/sounds, great job ;)

Really good audio and graphics! I love the sounds and the kawaiiness of characters, and it's also pretty fun to play :)
It's a nice game, graphic assets are pretty good but it would be even better with some music/sound effects :O
Really good graphic assets, the lighting setup provide a great atmosphere. The music fits pretty well too, great job ;)
Congratulation, it's a really nice game that we have here. It's kinda challenging though, I died due to the lack of power in the ship shield :O
Wow, great job making a nice RTS game in a such little amount of time! 3D models are really neat and the animations are impressive! The audio part is also very good :O
Thank you for your feedback @sprvrn!
The game over countdown is displayed when a package is not moving anymore just over the red line, if it's still the case after 5 seconds, you loose :scream: The countdown disappear when the sleeping package over the red line is moving again. It's often the case when a package falls on another package or when you push a package that is in contact with the corresponding package.
Thank you all for your feedbacks! :astonished:
@lars-erik @jelbre I figured out that we can simply push packages to the exit without using the grab mechanic and I even tried to get rid, but it was a lot less fun, so I kept it like that. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Anyway, when there are too much packages, you just can't push them all, and it's in this case the grab can be useful
@alexhicks It would be a good idea to add higher flaps indeed! :astonished: The end game is pretty annoying... You can just save the maximum of package before the limit is reached.
@mike-inprinciple I initially thought pause the packages arrival during a small amount of time to be able to recover, but it was not really fun at the end. Nobody want to clean when the mess is too big. At least, we quickly have the sensation of being overflowed. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
highscore.jpg
My best score so far. It's a pretty good compo entry
I've tested your game and I really like the bearball sprite.
Alos, the player animation is funny :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
I had the same issue to capture tiles that are not already mine, but the idea is good and was pretty ambitious for a single person! :astonished:
Man, this is crazy, how can you do a game of this quality in only 48h :astonished: You're out of the competition :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Wow, the best game I've tested so far! All is good in this game, graphics are amazing, the background music/sound effects are perfect, and the idea is really good! I don't know how you had time to create so much content :astonished:
It's a clever idea to put bad items by default to fool noob players like me. I had equipped the pickle and the banana without looking to their stats, and I didn't understand why I lost heart on each fight :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
After some plays, here is my feedbacks to improve the game (I know it's time limited and that it was impossible to do all of that ^^): - It would be good to stop manually the timer when we open a chest and that the inventory is already good - There is a lack of feedback for the battle, it would be good to have the life of the enemy or some info that shows to the player what it really happens. - I didn't find anything to restore my lost life, I don't know if there is an item for that, but if it's not the case, it would be good to have one  - I think the drag'n drop would be more appropriate to move items
I love the game over animations :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
It's not a good day to be a goat :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
The game is fun to play, and it's not so easy to make a fun game ^^ Congrats
It's kinda hypnotizing, and it looks really nice! :astonished:
The AI is pretty aggressive, it's a real flower war :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Wow, this game is really beautiful! :astonished:
My best score: 48800 (wave 7).
It became really difficult when the game decided to remove tiles at the center of the arena :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Anyway, really good entry, it's impressive to see the amount of content you made in so little time, congratulation
Really nice game! I didn't really understand how to increase the life (or love? :O), but the principle is easy and pleasant to play.
@sprvrn Oh, didn't see that neither :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Thanks for the explanation
As a devloper too, I know it's not easy to create good looking graphics, and you did this very well for this entry, I love this style!
It's was also a good idea to associate each animal to an instrument, it's little details like this one that change a normal game to a good game
My score was 42 on my first game, I think this number has a special meaning!
The game is simple, but fun to play, good job!
Tetris is THE game that matches this theme perfectly, and it's a clever idea to let the player turns the "board"
I really love the sound effects :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: And the game is fun to play, good job!
Smart idea! I like the name of some file/folder :stuck_out_tongue:
But is this a normal thing we can manually lower the irritation level? :astonished:
I'm not really sure to understand what happened when I played. I just took the hammer in the spikes room and click on the door and it was finished :astonished: Did I miss something? Is there anything to do with the plates?
Anyway, I love the ambience and graphics of your game, it looks really great!
After +1000 debris, my PC started to slow down :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Amazing visual and clever idea! But it's really hard to predict satellite collision :astonished:
The game is really pleasant to play and kind of challenging! :astonished:
I love the all ideas you had for each shape, particularly the star one (I would never thought about that!).
It would be good to play it on a phone :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
I killed all the fishes and birds :astonished:
Whereas I only let 200 plastics pass :stuck_out_tongue:
Great entry! I really like your graphic style, and I'm still impress by the number of assets you can produce in so little time :astonished: My technique to win is to take the seed bag targetted by the AI, it's not really fair but who care? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
I don't have sound during the game whereas you pushed 4 wav files on your repository, didn't you use them?
Wow, thank you all for your feebacks! :scream_cat:
Most of what have been said is things that I wanted to do if I had more time
- Multi selection for units => I obviously knew that it was one of the most important missing feature for a "STR" like game but for me it would be too complicated and time consuming to add it (selection rectangle, box cast, how to handle units that don't have the same abilities?, etc...), and I prefered to find a way to limit the unit count and let the "micromanagement" - The music loop is bad and I knew it too, that's why I took the time to add a mute button. But what I should have done, at least, would be to decrease the music volume. The music is way too loud and I should have take 10 seconds to do that.
But when I started the jam, I didn't think the idea I had in mind would be so hard to achieve in the given time and I've quickly been overloaded by the amount of work. I cut so many planned feature because I was running out of time that it was really difficult to choose what I must do and what I can remove from my planning.
@akronsus :scream_cat: Indeed, I didn't see that during the development. I'm wondering if it's allowed to fix this kind of bug post jam  If it is, I will fix that because it completely breaks the game :cold_sweat:
Thanks for the info
Ok, I had times to fix some issues to the build submitted for the jam thanks to your feeback.
Unfortunatly, multiselection is a new feature, and it's not allowed to add features by the rules.
Here is what I changed:
- Reduce music volume :tada: (@tylerstraub, @soldierbear) - Reduce camera speed and make sure it depends on the zoom when using keyboard controls (@soldierbear) - Fix a bug where ghost units could attack enemies (@drjedd) - Fix a bug where we couldn’t place new unit/wall for no apparent reason - Fix a bug where enemies could be stuck if no valid path exists to the king - Fix an issue where workers couldn’t collect resources close to them - Fix issue where enemies was spawned during new world chunk animation - Make sure we can’t select item from bottom bar if we can’t purchase it - Tweak difficulty
Really neat game, I couldn't stop to play it trying to se the end, but the frustration got me before that
It tastes like "Getting Over It" but with checkpoints (good point for me), and the mechanic to refill "the shoot" is clever.
In conclusion, I really like the game, even though I don't really see how it's related to the theme. Good job for this entry
My first try: 25.
The game is fun, beautilful and feebacks are great. I directly understood what I had to do without reading any instruction!
Pfiou, I finished it, but that was pretty hard :scream_cat:
I thought you used Pico-8 but no, you must be one of the only ones to use their own engine, and it's impressive!
Good job for this entry
I like the style and the game is fun to play, good job!
It's crazy to see a game of this quality in the compo section, you really made all of this in 48 hours?!
Really good job, one of the best game I played for this Ludum Dare session, all is good from the graphics to the audio, and even the balancing is really great!
I like the idea of the fog of war in addition with sound sources, great idea!
The final wave is hard, but I did it!
The audio loop is a little bit too short and it becomes too repititive quickly, but you made a good work on this game! Congratulation for your first Ludum Dare
Brilliant idea, and it's fun to play, but that's pretty hard! :scream_cat:
Best time: 1:33 with 56 cats caught! :sunglasses:
Your game is really great, it's impressive to think that you created and animated all 3D models yourself.
Special mention for the cats with a turtle shell, it surprised me a lot, I thought it was a bug the first time I saw one
Clever way to tell a story, good job!
That's crazy man, you really did all of this in 72 hours ?! :scream_cat:
This looks like a real game you could sell on Steam, all is perfect, from the art to the music or the gameplay. It's a real fun game, well balanced but pretty challenging.
Congratulation, this is the best work I've seen from now on.
1668! :sunglasses:
Good job for this game
The atmosphere of the game is great!
I made a long time before to to understand that you need to drag and drop the picked up items from the left to the screen to use them
The help is very useful in the notebook!
I finally successfully complete it (with a little bit of help ) so I'm happy because the game is pretty hard :scream:
The game is fun to play, you made a lot of enemies and the amount of assets you produced in the short time given is pretty impressive, good job!
Great combination!
Really good idea! It's so frustrating to not be able to move as we like :D
