Nice little game! Congrats for your first game!
One thing to improve would be to add more feedback when hitting enemies, to make it feels like we really hurt them.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD46 → Protect The King

I like it!
The gameplay is quite fun and addictive, maybe a bit repetitive after some time (some kind of upgrade system could be fun, for example a shop were you could buy a bow and arrows? ^w^)
The graphics are nice, and the music is catchy
Well done! uwu

Good job! I like the graphics and the concept is really fun! There isn't much player feedback though and the pacing is a bit on the slow side. Good job! :)
I was not able to keep the King alive; that charge noise made me smile, that was really funny. Borderline brought me back to some C64 goodness; nice work!
Only suggestion would be the hit mechanic - it just didn't feel like my attacks were connecting, so maybe an added effect on hit would be good.
Really fun to play and cute characters. Sometimes it could be a lit bit challenging to use all the keyboard commands + mouse but overall it was a great experience! Nice Job!
Nice little game, ramps up quite a bit, enjoyed playing it though.
WOW!! the game was really fun and to topic was great, I loved the part of keeping the king alive in general and all animations are cool AF!!! the only thing that obviously needs more time is the graphics, but for me it was a 6/6
Fun to play and got quite challenging very suddenly. Great game!
I really like the game. It's lots of fun. My one complaint is that I'd like to be able to charge backwards, and also make the mana take longer to recharge. As it is now, there's essentially no wait
score 718 I have to improve my score. Good concept, but collisions are a little sloppy. I like the difficulty level curve :D
I like the artwork, sound and overall concept. Collisions could do with some tweaking but it was a fun experience to play through :D Nice job!!
Really like the game, but i feel that the charge was a bit too wild for my taste. Also i think it would be better to make the heal an overtime thing then a delay. Like "Hold button to heal"
Addicting little game with a super nice and catching concept ! I made it to a score of 3130 after four tries. It becomes really difficult after some time, but it's challenging and really entertaining ! The animations are simple but cute and functional. Congrats for this great game !!
Nice little game, good job!
Really fun, despite being quite difficult! I think diagonal charges would make it somewhat easier.
I think the pixel art graphics are amazing!
Yes! Diagonal charging would make the game that much better. It's a fantastic short game and I love the pixelart. I might lower the difficulty curve though, because it got way hard way fast. Or maybe I just need to git gud
Really cool game, love the idea and the pixel art graphics.
I like the music! and the game was pretty fun. Great work, for improvements I would say more feedback when you hit the enemies, and maybe let the play dash diagonally if possible.
Nice game! Art is simple but effective. I really enjoyed the text animation when earning points! It starts as a slow game, but it gets harder. Really liked it.
It was very very fun great job !
i've failed you my lord  nice concept and cute art too.
Great game. Just needs more polishing.
Fun game, I liked it a lot. I'm impressed with the graphics for people. I did find it hard to move with the keyboard and use the shift key.
1668! :sunglasses:
Good job for this game
Very nice idea and great artstyle! Really finger breaking key binding for me though, would appreciate to have charge on space or something. Even though it was fun to play! Every action felt responsive and juicy :) Good work!
