I had this on stream. Again, nice job with this game!
I beat your score :P Interesting game! The beginning is the hardest part. I think starting with a bar or two of oil and allowing the player to figure out that draining it will keep them alive would help. I also think having the oil puddles go away (when being drilled) faster and placing more on the map would help keep the game more interesting as you play past the first minute or two. After I had a few puddles of oil it felt like I couldn't lose. I'm sure you have thought of many things you can add (buying storage upgrades, increasing energy consumption over time, etc). But for 48 hours it was great!
I really liked the game but I wish you had more levels teaching the mechanics. I got stuck and couldn't beat the level with a splitter 3 sin waves a reducer and a multiplier. I knew I had to feed the waves into each other to change their frequency, but I couldn't find the combination needed. I actually studied signal analysis too so this isn't a notice person coming into it. I just didn't have an intuition for how to make an asymmetrical signal like what was required given the tools I had. Also, many of the levels were designed to make the platforming very annoying. It made solving the puzzles more annoying to deal with platforming while also trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Still a great game and very impressive for 48 hours!
I had this on stream today. Again, REALLY GOOD GAME! Great job with it!!
I had this on stream. Again, I really enjoyed this game a ton! Lots of personality in it and a very good vibe. Nice job!
I liked the game but please create a way to invert the mouse look ;o;
I had this on stream. Again, great job dude! Really well designed card game!
I had this on stream. Wanted to post and say again this was a really cool and interesting puzzle game! Nice job!
I love the art for your game. I feel like the slashing with mouse click mechanic sometimes felt fast and other times I had delay for no reason and had to move forward and backwards to make them miss. It's not that I minded doing that, it's that nothing was conveyed to me to explain when it was needed. I would have liked some sound or music. Also, if you are going for a serious tone where the main character is supposed to have lost his humanity in killing those people, maybe make the deaths more gruesome? Add blood or do something to make the character seem like they are becoming a monster.
I liked it a lot. Things I would change. Add icons/images to the alerts to more quickly communicate what they mean. It seems to be a game about quickly making decisions but it is all with mouse pressed. Keyboard controls would be nice. I felt like I didn't have time to read things and so just clicked wildly hoping for the best. This didn't feel great. Also, clicking a button that says "sell" causing you to buy things didn't make sense to me.
Fun game! Like everyone else, I feel like you should never have a path lead to a restart unfairly.
I like the idea a lot! I got to what I assume was the last level. The next level button stopped working. I really liked that when you died you could retry the level instead of making the player do them all again! Nice work!
Lots of great ideas. A few nitpicks. Making the menu buttons change color on mouse over so it is more obvious that they are buttons. Also, it isn't obvious what the pickups do while playing. I know there was an instructions page but it was easy to forget. Overall great first game for LD!
I liked it! It took me a while to figure out that I wanted to keep junk food at the bottom and make it go away by building tall towers of blocks. I wish it had chains and combos like other puzzle fighter style games. Also, clicking to trigger things felt weird, but I understand wanting the player to be able to control when they get a resource. Very imaginative game!
Very nice first game! I don't understand why the packages twitch randomly. The door knock sound effects could be better. It took me a while to figure out that's what they were. Also, unclear why there are 2 packages between each level.
I really enjoyed the music and art. I have no idea how to get to the smiley faces quickly in the limbo section. I feel like having a trail up from the faces to warn you that one is coming would be cool. Otherwise great game!
I tried to play your game but got an error. Try building to a html5 release and putting it on itch.io
Thanks for the feedback @abilean.
@jason-kennedy There is an explosion on the top and bottom gold parts of the gate when you break it. If you get too close to them they break. Sorry it wasn't obvious!
@igorsgames I didn't realize you were the same person that made crazy squirrels for ld 39! I remember reviewing it in stream. MajestyLand is a huge improvement from it in such a short time. Congrats on a great game dude!
@miaw thanks so much for making the video play-through!
@bluemirror The more I see people play it the more I agree with you. Too fast without asteroids attached. I wanted you to really feel zippy and then much heavier when you start getting asteroids. But I think in wanting that to really be a large and noticeable difference in feel the basic speed was a hair too fast.
@mgsx Thanks so much for the kind words! It is great to hear feedback like this because I really worked hard on this submission. I live streamed the whole creation as well.
Very QWOP like. I like the idea. The mechanics could be a bit tighter in terms of making it clear when something will be blocked vs not. Also, technical note. Do not scale buttons with text. Instead increase the text font size and increase the button dimensions in unity. This will fix your fuzzy text issue.
Great mood! I have no idea why I died most of the time. I had 2 skulls and was fine on the bars on the sides but I would just drop dead late in the game. Also, using mouse to attack feels really bad, as does the long time out between when you attack and can move. Especially considering most of the combat seems to be attack then run and then go back and attack again. If your mouse was not in the right position and your attack misses you will get hit. This makes the game feel sluggish instead of tight. Very nice art and music! Also, the doors would open when attacked by enemies. This was weird. Also, being constantly on the clock for more blood after clearing a room didn't feel good. In binding of issac or zelda like games that this is derived from, you get a break after clearing a room to just pick up loot and this is an important emotional beat. Constantly being pushed forward doesn't feel great, especially when the doors are slow to open.
Great game! Things get stuck in walls which I'm sure you know. It would have been nice if there was a visual sense of if the ghosts were interested in you. They just looked like they moved randomly. And it would give the player a better sense of control and outsmarting if you can see them get confused or lose interest in you in an animated and obvious way. If I mouse down on the light slider, my mouse should keep moving it even if I move up and down off of it if I never release my mouse button. I regularly was trying to slide it quickly one way or the other and the slider would stop halfway because my mouse moved too far up or down. I played through about 7 levels, would have been nice to know my total gold count and if there was a goal eventually or just random levels all the way down. Also, the ghosts weren't a real threat, I don't know if there is a lose condition but they seemed to just drink some of your fuel when you touched them. Also, I expected the explosive to break down a wall instead of killing ghosts. Overall great mood and art and a very nice game!
Really neat game idea! Very well executed well done!
Big improvements from your previous work! Keep it up! Thanks for bringing the game by the stream!
Very nice quick game. It plays well and while simple is a complete game that feels pretty good!
Really great job! When I broke the bricks to go down the stairs on the left the item wasn't on the stand. Not sure if that was a bug or what. But I never saw the final phase.
Great game! Thanks for bringing it by the stream.
Cool game idea! Very polished visuals and sound! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Cool game concept! Looks like a good start to something better! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Nice job! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
This is hilarious! Thanks so much for bringing it to the stream!
This game is awesome! Thanks so much for bringing it by the stream!
Also could not get the game to launch.
Fun idea. Seems like an interesting mobile game concept. The level design is a little rough though. It isn't fun to miss a jump and just wait for the character to die. Either it must be possible for the player to succeed or the level should just restart/penguin die sooner. The final jump to the last platform was very tricky. I kept getting to the platform and never landing on it because the wall would change my direction. Nice graphics and a fun concept all the same.
Nice job! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Cool concept! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Amazing job! Thanks so much for bringing it by the stream!
Great audio and fun game! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Great entry! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Really charming game. Great job! Thanks for showing the stream as always!
Has been said already, but the camera angle is really bad for the gameplay. Nice walk animation, and fun overall idea. Also, the spiders blend in with the other obstacles a little bit.
Nice job! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Great stories in the game. Good idea, hope to see it move forward. Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Really like the art, cool puzzle design. Thanks for bringing it to the stream!
This game is pure sugar. Amazing to play, love the sounds love the concept. Only complaint is level 2 felt like it went on a few too many waves. Great job!
Great visuals! Thanks so much for bringing it by the stream!
Great job! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Cool game idea! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
I like the idea, but I wish the aiming was done a little better. It didn't feel good to aim at one point and have gravity change the shot location dramatically.
Cool game! Controls felt good and I enjoyed the sound effects and graphics! Thanks for linking it in the stream!
Nice job, very polished. I feel like I want more mechanics, but wanting more isn't necessarily bad!
Really interesting game. I like the level design, but it could use more clear landmarks (different colored areas) so you can figure out where you are. Also, maybe have the fish able to jump out of the water and not instantly die but just make a splash and go back in. Death should only be when you run out of water. Also, the controls are not bad per say, but the camera does not work with them. Having a camera that flows behind the player based on where they are going instead of where they are looking would be much less nauseating. Still, good job overall.
Fun idea! Adding some sound effects would go a long way to getting player focus on vomiting and fights. Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
The jumping and air control need a bit of work. I feel like it is very hard to even get half way up the tree. Fun idea.
Great presentation! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Thanks for bringing it by the stream as always! I made most of my comments on stream, but I'm glad you got a good learning experience out of building this one.
Great job on the puzzles! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Awesome sounds, love the aesthetic. Nice job! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Thanks for bringing this by the stream! I enjoyed playing it!

Love how crazy and silly this was! Nice job! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
I really liked the puzzles in this game. Great job! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Really good basic stealth game. Liked the mechanics and ai. Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
dog >>> everything! Nice job! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Interesting game! A few things. First, you guys are a team so you should be submitting this game to the Jam section not the Compo section for Ludum Dare. Compo games are made by only one person. Second, it looks like your replay feature is replaying keyboard inputs which causes the units to not follow the same path on multiple playthroughs. This is kind of irritating because it seems like it is random whether the unit I just played will get through the first gate and clear out the enemies I killed. Overall really cool concept that just needs more polish. Great job!
@pkenney Thanks so much for the detailed feedback! I totally agree, having a more organic process of introducing mechanics would have make the game more approachable and better, but I only had so much time. Thanks so much for playing!!
@aj-jones Thanks for the feedback. You definitely CAN do that. But you can do that in dark souls too. The issue with doing that is you don't get the power ups in the chests along the way, or the blood pickups which will all help make the boss easier.
Awesome game! Really liked the art and story!
Love the graphics, and great puzzle design! Thanks so much for bringing it by the stream!
Great job! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Upload a zipped file please. The shared directory on google is zipping on download which takes forever.
Nice job! I would remove audio from the things you can be rated for since your game has no audio. That being said, adding sounds would have gone a long way to make it every funnier. The zany physics work in your favor and the game concept is great. I think it needs more refinement. I would not have any camera control or movement. I would have levels auto restart on pony/unicorn death. And also have the level keep any changes you have made instead of needing to re do it every time. Also, let the angled pads be controlled with mouse movement rather than discrete clicks. All that being said, I think the game is great and could be even better when polished further!
Fun zen game. Thanks so much for bringing it by the stream!
Thanks so much for bringing the game by the stream! Nice job!
Thanks so much for bringing the game by my stream! It has a lot of promise!
Great job for your first LD! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Thanks so much for bringing the game by the stream! Like the art and some of the mechanics were cool!
Amazing job! Really simple concept but extremely fun! Would love to see how far I have gotten as I'm playing instead of right at the end! Also, a boost mechanic or making it so when I throw the penguin I go forward a bit would help with getting screwed on catching uphill slopes.
Great game! Love the mood! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
The last stage seems unwinnable if all you have after stage 2 is a knife and lighter. It doesn't feel like there is enough time to react to how high or low the balloon needs to go. Also it is unclear how much height you will gain from each item. Also, the restart menu takes too long to get through. The main menu is too easy to click through. And the failure state of needing to restart the level on any failure gets frustrating and it doesn't feel like there is room to learn the mechanics through experimentation easily without frustration. It also took me several tries to figure out that I was also the balloon in the back. I thought that was just another npc for like 3 minutes.
Interesting concept! Took me a while to realize asdw was move. Maybe include that somewhere. I wish gold stacked so I didn't need to drop each piece one at a time. It isn't super fun to clear the whole area, then go back and pick up all the gold and leave. Maybe creating some more interesting choices for the player when picking the gold back up would help. I realize that a special enemy spawns after so many steps but it still wasn't that engaging. Still, very well done with no noticeable bugs. I like the graphics. Nice Job!
This game was awesome! Loved how you had to talk to each bullet before being able to fire it. Very creative and funny!
Good job on the art! The audio is nice too! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
I want to download your game but the link wants me to login. Can you host on itch.io or something that does not require a login?
Cool concept. I liked the art and basic idea. Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
I couldn't get it to run :( I got an openAL.dll not found error.
Great submission. Really interesting mechanics! Thanks so much for bringing it by the stream!
Really cool idea. Reminded me of her story and house of leave. Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Great work! Love the animation and art style. Mechanics feel solid and well thought out. My only critique is the block pushing requirement for solving a puzzle is first introduced in a very long to set up puzzle with a jump that is at the very end. Failing this feels REALLLLL BAD. Otherwise this submission is amazing. Great job!
Really cool experiential game/experience. Felt very cohesive, and showed impressive musical tech skill. Nice job! Thanks for bringing by the stream!
Really awesome mechanic of editing the "game code" while playing the game. Very funny concept. Enjoyed playing it. Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Really cool concept. I liked all the quests. I don't know if a super small version of Majoras Mask works without some items being saved between days so you don't have to redo quests. Still, great job!
This was fantastic. The art was amazing! Really simple mechanics but it worked really well. Great job!
Cool idea, great execution on it. Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Cool concept overall. I enjoyed the variety of guns provided. Thanks so much for bringing it by the stream!

Really fun adventure game. It was a lot of gibberish to keep track. But I still had a great time! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
I really liked the login screen. Very nice touches. Great mood and overall aesthetic.
Very cool concept. Great execution on the basics of a sim game. Has a lot of potential going forward. Thanks for bringing it by the stream!

Really fun idea. I like the idea of combining a terminal and platformer. Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
@ixuz thanks for playing. The targets to photograph are, the duck, the yeti in the forest, waldo, and the invisible man (pair of floating sunglasses and hat).
Really interesting core concept. Excited to see what you do with it moving forward. Thanks so much for bringing it by the stream!
Really funny story and game! Put a smile on my face the whole time. Thanks for bringing it by the stream!

Great aesthetic! Nice art and animations! Very playable. Great job overall! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Cool spin on the Alchemy game genre. I felt like I had a hard time intuiting what I could do given what I had built. But a very neat idea!
Very funny! Nice job! Definitely glad I stuck with it to the end! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Great submission! Very polished, love the art, love the mechanics of the enemy designs. Thanks for bringing it by the stream!

Really cool and unique concept for a tactics game. I liked the art. Very original. Hope you guys build it out more! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Great job! Feeling your power ramping up felt great, and the boss had cool mechanics!
Really interesting concept, good art design, I wish the levels were designed more as an introduction to mechanics. But overall great job! Thanks for bringing it by the stream.
Great start. Looking forward to seeing a more polished version. Really like the concept, great mood. Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Cool idea! I wish I had at least enough light to see a tiny bit of wall at the start. Wandering around not knowing if I'm moving and waiting for lighting wasn't fun. Once I got some light it became a much more enjoyable experience. Nice job!
Very interesting puzzle mechanics! Great submission! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!

Neat concept, great work for the time you had! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Really amazing entry! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
@nutriz Honestly, I did not have a good time with Godot. There were so many gotchas and random hiccups with bad google/documentation resolutions. I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to center text in a rich text label. I spent an hour trying to get the icon for the exe changed and still couldn't do it. The engine text editor was a complete pain to work with. It didn't open new files automatically when created. The tabs on the top and panel to the left for scripts vs scene was frustrating as scenes and scripts often had similar names. F2 to change to 3d view instead of renaming an object drove me mad. Changing a nodes placement in the tree breaks all your scripts and there is no tool that automatically looks in all scripts for if that object has been accessed and tries to auto fix the path for it. Sure it is a tiny download, but that's because they don't download the packaging templates with the base engine. So when you actually want to export then you get another half gig of data. It just didn't feel ready for prime time still.
@boltkey was hard to balance all the ui decisions. The background color also shows the plant state. I too wish I had time for sound.
Really cool concept! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Cute take on Zoombinis! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!

Love the art! Really great entry! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
I really enjoyed playing this one on stream. Great art direction! Thanks for stopping by the stream!
Super interesting gameplay. The story didn't quite make sense with the gameplay since it seemed it was more about building a machine to harvest money than to clear out the spiky invaders (since you could make them spawn faster with one of the buildings it seemed). Still the core gameplay was super fun. Great job!
I really enjoyed the puzzle design in this game. Great job!
This was a fantastic game. I gave most of my feedback on stream. Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing it!
Really like the art, sound, and music!
I really like the graphics and idea. I wish that you could reasonably photograph the creatures from further away. The sweet spot between being able to photo them and them getting angry is too close to be fun.
Would be fun if the game tracked how well you did in each sport. Interesting idea!
I gave most of my feedback on stream. Great job! Thanks for sharing it!
I enjoyed this one and talking through it on stream. Nice job (despite development drama). Thanks for coming by the stream!
Super great mood and feel. I wish the visuals were more fair for hinting you at when to hit a button. If you are in a blue zone and you hit up or down it should always let you land correctly. If there is a tighter timing window it should be visualized as such. It feels unfair when you fail but feel like you did what the visuals were asking for. Great game overall though!
I told you most of my feedback in the stream but I want to say again nice job making this all work! Thanks again for coming by the stream!
I gave most of my feedback on stream! Thanks for submitting it!
I gave most of my feedback on stream. I really liked the humor of being shot into the water. Thanks for sharing it!
This game had a great mood and feel to it. I wish the places I was supposed to go were more visually distinct on the map and that there was more obvious direction. I think I went to every other location before the forest. Also, the space ship ending felt out of place for starting on a broken wooden ship and it seeming like a fantasy world on the island. It reminded me a lot of Zelda 2. Great job!
Fun idea! Would have been nice to have sounds for anything. It made the interactions feel weak. I was expecting controls more similar to Surgeon Simulator. Having a single rotation axis and locking to one plane felt basic. I really liked the overall art direction, and all the assets look like they are part of one cohesive idea. It would have been nice to incorporate more ideas from a dating sim, like making choices. Instead it was just "do task x" hopefully you succeed. Very short, but sometimes shorter is better. Nice job!
@Lawrence thanks so much for the kind words! It was nice having you around in chat.
@hestercombe Thanks for the feedback! The car has no attack. We felt like it was important that you not be able to ignore the tower defense part of the game by just attacking with the car.
@aevek yes the 1.1 version has that bug fixed now. Thanks so much for playing!
@detectiveLosos thanks so much for the detailed feedback! The game end bug you described is fixed in 1.1 What happened was you beat the final boss and didn't realize it but the game never triggered the win screen.
@detectiveLosos Hrm that is concerning. I'll look into it. Thanks for letting us know!
@thy-duck @amour-du-pain I am hearing about this bug I'll try to resolve it. I thought I had solved it but clearly not. It may be from certain enemies not dying and that causing the next wave to never spawn.
@hiki911 I'm sorry to hear that happened to you as well :( Thanks for trying the game anyway.
I gave most of my feedback on stream. Great job Tim!
I don't fully understand what I'm supposed to be doing. It seems like if I do nothing my score will keep going up. I don't know what things in the game I want to hit or don't hit. I seemed to lose when I eliminated all the hearts which I assumed were good things. The art is great though! And the physics and movement feel fine!
This was a lot of fun to play on stream! Thanks so much for stopping by and showing it!
This was a lot of fun! I really like the idea. Thanks for coming into my stream and showing it!
I really enjoyed the idea of this one! There was something off about the hold to jump longer and about the coin placements but small issues. Thanks @detectiveLosos for coming by the stream and showing off your game! Great job!
I don't know what it is about the burger cooking mini game but I really enjoyed that aspect of it. I gave most of my feedback on stream. Thanks so much for coming by and sharing it!
Very well executed game! Great art, controls well, good audio. All around amazing job!
This game has such a great look to it! I gave you most of my feedback on stream. Thanks for coming by! Great job on the game!
Really like the art in the menus, the gameplay feels like it needs another layer. I don't feel like I'm making interesting choices with what I'm doing.
Nice job with getting this working! I gave most of my criticism on stream. Thanks for stopping by!
Really cool idea. The game looks and sounds great! I think the controls weren't for me but I appreciate what you were doing with it!
I gave most of my feedback on stream. Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing it!
I gave most of the feedback I had for you on the stream. Thanks for bringing it by!
Great game! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Very well execute idea! I wish it focused more on timing puzzles where you can have the next command buffered and time your enter press, the end of the level was a bit too hard.
Super cute graphics. Great start to whatever you build next. Thanks for coming by the stream to share it!
Such an amazing job! I gave most of my feedback on stream. Thanks so much for sharing it!
This game is hilarious. I wish the card game were more fun, but the story and writing and general mood was all amazing!
