Nice game!
Nice small game, with peculiar idea, but the problem is with UX, as it's hard to understand how to use batteries at start. And also, level design is pretty bland, the arena needs some layout.
@mikydev Thanks :smile:
@artyom-volkov Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I was not too sure on which direction I wanted to go with the UI/UX. Which made it a weird mix of stuff. And yes the level is pretty bland. And that also affects the AI. The AI has the ability to search for and find you, but because of the level design it's not represented very well.
Thanks again for playing and for providing feedback
The menu appealed a lot to me. I like the transition from the menu to the game. I think with a couple more maps it could have lots of replay value and I would probably pay for a multiplayer version of the game. Lots of fun, hope you get enough people that can run unreal engine to play it XD
A very nice game for a game jam ! The graphics are awesome and the gameplay juicy. I loved playing a tiny character in a gigantic room. Great entry !
link is not working for me I think, can you check it
@murrzipan Thanks, Glad you liked it . Yeah it has lot of potential.
@brenan Thanks, Glad you enjoyed it
@despdair I'm not sure why the link is not working. Is this the link you used : https://extrone.itch.io/power-slime-shootout
@extrone I have a problem with my internet it seems
Awesome graphics! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
@erebus Thanks for the amazing feedback
Awesome job! I loved the third person controller. It felt really natural.
The only thing I think needs to be adjusted is the options menu, it's really overwhelming with the colors and maybe having it as part of the phone as applications on the screen would be really a nice way to feel like it's included in the environment.
Well done!
@krassenstein Thank you for playing it, glad you like it  . Also thanks for the feedback, I'm gonna add that in the post jam version (If I can  ).
Totally a hidden gem. Not enough people played and rated this yet! It an addicting little shooter, and the idea of having health visually represented on the slime bodies is genius! Would have loved more variation in enemies, and different attacks.
Played on stream: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/600003849
Nice "textured books" lol Amazing graphics, I'm not too good at shooters but still managed to get 10th place in the leaderboard :P The big slimes were actually easier to kill because it's easier to aim. Is there any reason you can't quit using the exit button?
@fedora haha , glad you liked it. I would say with how hard it is, 10th is really good lol.The exit button thing was just for fun
@jake-marks Thanks for playing it on the stream and thanks for the awesome feedback
I played this for like half an hour. It was really enjoyable. The graphics were great, especially the books. Managed to grab 6th place too :). Really nice game, one of my favourites so far!
Great game! I had fps problems at the start, needed to tweak them as mentioned. I shoot a few enemies, but the big one was too hard - if I was at open space without battery nearby he just shot me down without missing a shot. Otherwise I loved the UI (don't know if that was an asset or something) and the music playing on the table, that was nice touch. Good job!
Amazing graphics, very well polish, a little bit repetitive but the slime is cute, and they're lot of work on it. Good job!
@convg I'm really glad you enjoyed it, Thanks for playing
@banzi Thanks for playing . Yeah, I made the enemies too accurate, should've made them miss more shots. Glad you loved the UI, it was fully made during the Jam. The music on the table was a last minute decision, really happy it paid off. Thanks again for playing and for the feedback .
@robowarrior1982 Thanks for playing and for the feedback . Yeah the gameplay was a bit repetitive. I was planning to focus on gameplay but got sidetracked into making the UI
just awesome.. the game polished well and love that beautiful graphic. so.. do leaderboard only shown best-11 or you could see them all? seems i can't scroll them down, to look mine  could see your hard work through this game. good job for it
@amazura  Thanks. Really glad you loved the graphics .
The leaderboard is supposed to show the top 20 scores, but The scroll box was inside an overlay panel and for some reason that disabled the scrolling. I only noticed that today .
Thanks for playing it
We streamed your game with Danae: [link to Twitch VOD](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/599171054?t=02h31m58s) (approximate timestamp)
Good fun. Global leaderboards in a (jam) game are always nice. The enemies were maybe a bit too dumb but simultaneously too strong, so the best strategy really seemed to be to try to snipe them from afar.
This is very cool and funny shooter. VFX and music - are top :top: . Charging effect, glow, shot sparkles - all is so cool and bright. I wish for maybe reduced difficuly (big bosses shot strength) but more smart AI - not sure that enemies try to collect batteries. Also, I wish a multiplayer with my friends for this game. And one more little nice to have feature - can I scroll down at the very botttom of leadersboards and be proud of my low score?
@room606 Thanks . Yeah the enemies were dumb and accurate . No, they don't try to collect batteries.
Multiplayer is an unfamiliar territory to me, but I would like to get into it soon. It would be really fun in this game. The leaderbaord is inside a scroll box, so it's supposed to scroll down. But I think I messed that up somewhere.
Thanks for playing it and for giving feedback
Said most of it on stream but. If you're developing this further keep these three in mind: Cover, variety and balance!
@fatsheep Thanks for playing it on stream
This was a very cool game!
Some of the best 3d graphics and light settings ive seen so far, so thanks for submitting this on my stream!
I saw the "contruction site" sign on the other side of the door, so I assume its a game youll continue to work on. I would love to see more of this atleast.
So what id like to see in future builds is a bit more balanced enemies. It gets a bit difficult when they spawn behind you, so maybe they shouldnt be able to attack right away after they spawn.
If you do decide to work on this game, please share it with me, I would love to play it!
p.s this would be amazing as a multiplayer game, but ofcourse thats not something I expect to see haha.
very cool a beautiful game, seems a lot of work went into this one!
Pretty nice feature to see the HP bar as a player itself, awesome job!
@23edsa Glad you like it, Thanks for playing it on stream
@jacksendary Thanks :smiley:
Was a nice little experience. Thou I couldn't click on the quit button.
The Level should have some more design, but I really liked the atmosphere :)
Here is my Playthrough
https://youtu.be/pzHqPOPVcPA
I got the world record :)
I really loved this entry one of the best so far!
I only had two minor points:
1. the spawn RNG makes it so you can get really lucky or really screwed
2. the game rewards fast clicking. you should limit the fire rate to what you get when you hold down left mouse
@ausstein Just stole your record! :smirk:
@convg got it back :)
Video coming soon
Btw the run took forever, so this was my last attempt, if you steal it back it is yours forever
@ausstein Wait, did you actually get 975 :astonished:. I was seriously not expecting that
@convg @ausstein I didn't even expect anyone to keep playing my game after the initial play-through
@extrone yes :D The video processing on youtube is taking forever, but I'll post it here once it's finished :D
Edit: btw I think anyone will be able to get such highscores after watching my video. In the end I just decided to stop. If There was a score counter I would have completed 1000 for sure tho :D
Here we go
https://youtu.be/qJlpkfzYf5E
Congratulations @ausstein for getting the top rank.
and Congratulations @convg for getting the seconds place.
and here is the leaderboard with the updated UI Annotation 2020-05-09 190233.png
@ausstein Just came back on the site now. That's an insane score lol. @extrone That new UI looks awesome. Does the quit button still say nope? I would love to see this continue in post LD because I it's really fun and has loads of potential. You did an amazing job and I would even buy a paid version of this without hesitation
@Convg Could not agree more ! This needs to be continued! Also there are many directions this could go! Story mode, multiplayer mode, or just A highscore game with more maps and maybe some powerups and enemies :D I'd be exited about the future of this if it gets continued!
@extrone Just found a cool movement trick. If you shoot while jumping or double jumping backwards you go really fast. It could end up as the base for a great movement system that rewards skilled players with the additional edge of increased speed
@convg @ausstein I'm planning to make it a full game, but sadly it's not gonna be a thing anytime soon because of other projects. I already made many improvements to the current level like adding more cover and adjusting enemy spawn location. Gonna add more maps and power-ups soon, kinda have a power-up system already setup from some other projects. Multiplayer would be really cool too.
Also improved the AI a lot. @ausstein you can no longer stay in that corner and keep shooting them, they'll come searching for you . but they are not as accurate as before when you're far to medium range.
@convg yeah that's a really cool movement trick, you can also use it to propel yourself up to get on top of the things in the level.
Will post here when the update arrives.
And thanks for the feedback and support
@extrone Sounds Awesome! I can't wait to see it. Be sure to @mention me in that post when the time comes

Impressive shaders man
also the camera is very good, it really makes you feel small
A really fun game with simple mechanics. I'm extremely impressed by the efforts to make the graphics and the theme of the game. i still think your game deserves more ratings than that it is having now, Nice job you did there.
Thanks. Really glad y'all liked it  @velvetlobster @sandra-martinez
I loved the graphics and the part of the batteries to recharge to flubber, good job! @extrone isaackillerpro how can i Know my score??? im killing 5 flubber in all waves trone.jpg
@gameovermexico Thanks, glad you loved it
Love the game i had fun Graphics are very Good.
@lazzydev72 Thanks :smile:
@lazzydev72 Wait, did you play the game?
@lazzydev72 @gameovermexico What names did y'all use in the game? I just want to check your scores
I am really bad at this game, but I did still had fun playing it. I love both the music and visual style. The controls was overall really good. I found it a bit difficult to see what and when I got hit. Overall is this a pretty good jam game. Well done.
I loved that the game refused to quit and just told me "nope" It is a fun little shooter that I totally sucked at (as in any shooter ;)). I tried tough, I tried and tried and got to 10 even at some point. Personal best! I liked how you showed the health of the slime directly on the body - awesome effect!
I really liked my slimy glowy character overall. And, I'm not gonna lie, I liked that sometimes enemies were kind enough to just stand there while I was shooting at them. Some might consider it a bug, I think it's a feature !
I met one actual bug. On one of my tries, after I killed the first enemy, no more enemies appeared. I was just standing there, in an empty room, undisturbed by anyone. So tranquil.
Oh, and I sometimes had trouble picking up batteries. They seemed a bit less responsive to me pressing E than I would like. But that may be only me.

flubber killing trone10.jpg
@jk5000 Yeah, the enemies are pretty unbalanced, I made them too accurate .
Thanks for playing and for the feedback
@fabula-rasa Hey, you're 14/36 in the leaderboard. You're not bad at the game .
I think that bug is caused because sometimes they spawn inside the cardboard boxes, but new enemies won't spawn unless you eliminate the one inside the box. I am implementing an new spawn system, hopefully this should be fixed
Picking up batteries is where I messed up communicating to the player. Here's how it works :
You can aim at the battery (from a moderate distance) and when the charge level of the battery pops up, you need to press E, it's helpful when your charge is low and you don't have batteries nearby. But I failed at communicating this to the player. Simply adding the Key (used to pickup the batteries) to the charge level popup would've made it clear how to pick them up.
Thanks for playing it and for the feedback, really glad you loved the little details and the effects
Whao ! Awesome game ! I love your art style, it's very polish (bloom is life). The concept of battery is very cool ! Well done !
@nurk Thanks, glad you loved it
Nice graphics! I included it in my Ludum Dare 46 compilation video series, if you want to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/N721nAhkovk
