LD46 — Keep it alive

In the Valley of Souls Deluxe Edition by Syrapt0r 2020-04-20T18:30:00Z

Really liked the narration and story. Good platforming. A bit annoying that you have to start from the beginning in the second part if you activate the narrator, specially since there is that "hard" jump on the bottom of the screen.

Flight of the Cepheus by thedashdude 2020-04-20T18:51:13Z

I died to a mutiny :( Interesting concept, but on a personal note, not really my kind of game.

Tetris Life by jpv 2020-04-20T16:45:05Z

Cool idea, at first I didn't know what I was doing lol

A Cold Walk Home by Stefanie Leitch 2020-04-20T19:27:45Z

This is currently my favorite game this jam. Finished it and loved it.

Mutiny by Cataractar 2020-04-24T01:03:02Z

Yarr, got to the third checkpoint and lost! Really fun game. Loved the pirate theme.

Dance n' Die by rodel77 2020-04-24T00:45:14Z

Cool game, at first I tried to move the villager using the arrow keys and was very confused lol

Power Slime Shootout by Extrone 2020-04-24T01:13:45Z

Nice "textured books" lol Amazing graphics, I'm not too good at shooters but still managed to get 10th place in the leaderboard :P The big slimes were actually easier to kill because it's easier to aim. Is there any reason you can't quit using the exit button?

Pyromania by Finnhax 2020-04-20T17:24:28Z

Cool game. First time I played I didn't realize you had to get close to the fire to throw the wood. It gets pretty difficult pretty fast, but the building mechanic is pretty cool and well done.

Super Realistic Parachute Simulator by hamrathdoesldjam 2020-04-22T20:42:47Z

Simple and fun, cool retro effect btw

Captain! Captain! by SuperGamersGames 2020-04-20T21:13:26Z

Fun concept, a bit hard to switch fast when an enemy is attacking you.

Botanico by Martynas 2020-04-24T00:54:31Z

I saw this game the other day on a Twitch stream. The first two times I played it, I lost pretty fast, not knowing what to do. After that, my third attempt was pretty good, I got a score of 12. Does the 4th tool do something? The tutorial didn't say anything about it.

The Pacifist by AlexFSmirnov 2020-04-20T16:21:37Z

Cool game, but I think the fact that not killing zombies only affects your score at the end is flawed. I started trying to not kill them, but I ended blowing them up with the RPG, just because it was easier and faster. Still, finished it and enjoyed it.

Maintenance Bot 46 by Gurglesprain 2020-04-20T23:00:01Z

The FTL vibe is real! As @seagull said, good concept, maybe not that well implemented. Adding more things to do would make it really better. Keep up the good work!

Fruit vs Hand by Joe Allen Dev 2020-04-20T15:54:08Z

Good game. The lemon's seed sometimes passed right through the hand without hitting it.

Backwards Undertakers by KirKami 2020-04-20T22:15:33Z

Is this a Jojo reference!?

Anti-Toxin by Deacon 2020-04-20T16:07:32Z

Really fun to play. The music is a bit annoying.

The Puzzle Of The Fantastic Fungus by Jahwffrey 2020-04-20T18:43:59Z

Really original. Kind of hard, I can't get past the 3 minute mark!

The Puzzle Of The Fantastic Fungus by Jahwffrey 2020-04-20T19:04:13Z

@jahwffrey Oh, I was always trying to get it to grow as much as possible. I get it now.

Electro Service 2: Electric Boogaloo by Fedora 2020-04-20T17:11:36Z

@venitherich I played your game earlier, and thought "This is really similar to our game" haha!

Electro Service 2: Electric Boogaloo by Fedora 2020-04-20T21:01:57Z

@david-bohan @psychic-ash Thanks for your reviews, I really appreciate it! About the crash, that's intended. When you fail to treat the patient in time, you get a lot of errors and the game ends(window closes). Maybe I should have put a "Game over" screen there, sorry if that confused you.

Surviving the wasteland by Space Banana 2020-04-20T18:05:45Z

Very cool. The gameplay is interesting. With more upgrades it would be even better, because once you get the turrets to level 3 there is not much else you can do. Keep up the good work!

The Light Child by hulien22 2020-04-20T17:53:38Z

Fun adventure game. The graphics are really cute. The map is a bit too empty, but the mechanics are fun.

Fix the engine by VeniTheRich 2020-04-20T16:38:39Z

Cool game, a bit stressful.

Baby On Board by bittripbrit 2020-04-25T05:55:58Z

Woah, nice seeing a Gmod gamemode here! Gonna try this one later

Pet Rock Simulator by Keepoccino 2020-04-20T21:08:10Z

Really fun twist on the tamagochi genre!

DI(e)NO(t) by Thibaud Ligneul 2020-04-20T17:07:02Z

Really cute aesthetics! Made it to the future, all my dinos but one died in the first 30 seconds. Took me a while to realize I only had limited movement.

Earth Protector by Riadazz 2020-04-20T18:56:46Z

Simple idea, but well implemented. The nukes and weapon upgrades keep it interesting. Maybe being able to hold down the button to shoot would have been better to my carpal tunnel :P

Grovetender by ghast_neoh 2020-04-20T22:39:11Z

I think I found a bug: after restarting with R, mushrooms no longer produce. Besides that, really fun game. I really liked it.

Bullets & Babies by David Bohan 2020-04-20T18:35:33Z

Really cool game, reminds me of Ikari Warriors for the NES.

Unfinished Shöt Game by FeuerPanda 2020-04-20T19:31:43Z

The UI looks great. It's such a shame you couldn't finish it tho :/

Keep it burning ! by Xentiie 2020-04-20T15:59:44Z

A bit simple, but perfectly matches the theme. Enjoyed it for 2-3 minutes.

Lightlife by Merpui 2020-04-20T22:06:58Z

Balancing risk of not seeing something and energy is a cool mechanic. Cool game!

Why did you throw the baby? by airwaffle 2020-04-20T16:59:42Z

Those graphics really add up to the humor. Really cool!

Don't Let it Pop! by gstein 2020-04-20T21:25:05Z

I survived 130 seconds and stopped. The idea is cool, but I think the difficulty needs to ramp up as time passes. It's great that it's available for Android!

Planet Life by NicoDev 2020-04-20T18:08:28Z

I'm having trouble downloading it. Can you check if the link is working?

Planet Life by NicoDev 2020-04-20T18:15:37Z

I managed to download it from itch.io but it's crashing when I press Start Game D: I extracted both .exe and .pck in the same folder.

Wisp by Squeg Inc. 2020-04-20T17:47:59Z

Amazing graphics. I found the gameplay to be a bit too simple and easy. I ended up going to a side of the screen and moved up and down while shooting, and never got close to dying.

Power Parry by Edwin 2020-04-20T17:59:24Z

Really fun despite being so simple. Beated it on the second try, going around in circles seems to be a pretty good strategy.

Tusk Til Dawn by BlaiseRascal 2020-04-20T22:23:24Z

Simple tower defense game, maybe needs some more towers and upgrades. I liked the graphics.

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Time Surge 2: Clean Up Time by HitchH1k3r 2020-10-06T02:50:48Z

Cool puzzle game, at first I was stuck at the puzzle on the top. I had to go back here and read the tips to understand the "unstuck" mechanic. The music and art are really good, and the Chronocore fluid shader looks really nice.

VintageTime by maskinmask 2020-10-06T18:35:08Z

I thought it was a rhythm game at level 1. It was a bit too slow and easy. Level 2 was great. And level 3 was too hard. Nice idea restricting the movement of the blocks like that.

Spincar by uvwar 2020-10-06T01:03:00Z

Pretty simple, it's relaxing to not have an objective and just have fun for a minute.

Confined by Flaterectomy 2020-10-05T23:56:20Z

Really interesting and original!

U.F.O.M.O by dvdfu 2020-10-06T00:44:58Z

This is REALLY good. Short, polished and fun. The texting game made me laugh a bit. The ending was on point too

Loop Heart by NeithR 2020-10-08T03:04:33Z

Nice game, I like how you keep adding mechanics to keep the gameplay interesting. The ending image is really cute <3

The room moor ehT by alphapolygon 2020-10-05T21:51:22Z

Your game really gave me that Antichamber feel, with the non-euclidean geometry and mainly white and black graphics. I got a bit confused on where I had to go and where I was relative to the start sometimes, and sometimes the portals bugged and didn't show what was on the other side correctly. I understand that fixing that kind of bugs in a weekend is quite hard.

Overall, I enjoyed it!

Roundabout Way by Quandtm 2020-10-07T19:40:34Z

This was our first idea when we were brainstorming, cool to see someone else did it!

Twisted Citadel by Mors 2020-10-06T19:53:57Z

Really cool, I like how each level adds something to the mix.

Roundabout Rowdy by Andreas Roschal 2020-10-07T20:46:51Z

I enjoyed it a lot. The limo was a really nice and fun detail. Good job!

Broken Dungeon by PurpledArtFrog 2020-10-05T23:41:38Z

My explosive door says this is a really well done and polished game. And I trust my explosive door.

Edge of Ludum Dare by danielblanco3d 2020-10-11T00:51:17Z

Interesante concepto, quizá un poco corto. Estaría bueno que tuviera traducción al inglés así más gente lo juega :P

Cluck of the Time Egg by Yeomsley 2020-10-05T22:45:13Z

Reminds me a lot of 60 Seconds Hero. Fun experience!

Bunny Loop by Fedora 2020-10-06T13:50:41Z

@game-endeavor Thank you for your feedback! We find your critics very constructive.

That movement decision was quite difficult to make. We didn't want to make something generic, and having the bunny hop around felt like a good idea at the time, but I guess innovation for innovation's sake isn't good either. I'm definitely writing this one under "lessons learned"

I understand the issue with the exit not being marked at the start. The idea of having the "upgrade" text visible was to have players naturally see the upgrade tree and know that they have to get to the end of the research tree. Maybe having the "exit" text appear after they check the upgrade tree for the first time would have been a better solution to this.

Bunny Loop by Fedora 2020-10-06T17:02:20Z

@battlerager I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the feedback

Roll A Loop by Tristan10Cats 2020-10-06T00:37:07Z

I like how it starts going faster and faster to increase the difficulty. I agree with what @lamasaurus said, having hotkeys to place the pieces would have been appreciated.

Generation Chicken by SakuH 2020-10-05T23:02:41Z

I love the pixel art! It started becoming a bit hard on the third level, more checkpoints would have been appreciated. Very well done. The controls feel really responsive.

Danger! Plants 'n' Seeds by panoramix360 2020-10-14T23:45:52Z

Graphics are nice, and gameplay is interesting. The only things I dislike are that you don't get any tutorial or explanation about what you have to do, and the wait times between upgrades being too long.

Castle Hallway by gilazarini 2020-10-06T17:53:13Z

Really liked it! Only wished it was a bit longer

Loopy Dungeon by SpaceGuinea Productions 2020-10-08T22:01:35Z

I really like the idea of the game, but I think it could improve on the implementation. The movement along the path feels really snappy, and not being able to see enemy hp and the bullets actually firing made me a bit confused at first about whether I was actually damaging the enemies.

Hamster Happiness by shosanna 2020-10-05T22:23:02Z

I really liked it, the hamster is pretty cute!

DejaVu by StuxGeek 2020-10-05T23:21:42Z

I like the idea of having to do the same thing over and over, but with an extra step each time. My potato PC couldn't handle the game with a reasonable framerate, I guess the post processing effects were killing my trash GPU.

Yandere Emulator by DOME 2020-10-05T21:40:39Z

It crashed on different points of the story twice when I was playing with some Lua errors, but since this is a joke on Yandere Simulator, maybe that's a feature? haha Nice idea, I liked the music and backgrounds a lot, and the visual novel with RPG stats and random events is a cool idea. Good job!

Brick'd Out by Game Endeavor 2020-10-06T00:51:20Z

I ran into a bug after finishing the first level where the ball wouldn't spawn even though I had 2 lives left :( Other than that, the game looks and plays really good. A nice twist on a classic game. Keep it up!

iLoop - the 2D endless runner game of a robot stuck in a loop :) by melvinng 2020-10-05T22:29:46Z

The art is really good. Just one thing: some sprites look more stretched and "pixelated" than others (for example the ninja with the sword).

Having the game progressing by adding more enemies and making them faster is good, but having some extra layers of complexity would be nice.

Congratulations on publishing your first jam game, by the way!

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Clean up! by Spider058 2021-04-29T16:10:15Z

I really liked the mood and music of the game. The pixel art is alright. Gameplay felt too repetitive and simple. Maybe increasing the rotation speed of the submarine and adding some other mechanic or objective would help.

Deepest Greed - Mines of Darin by Limonado 2021-04-29T16:26:13Z

Wow, great game. The general feel, feedback and polish is extremely good. Altough a lot of graphics are just placeholders/programmer art, the fact that little animations(like the stores becoming transparent when you get close or the block particles while you break them) make it feel like the user experience was taken into account, even if the right assets are missing. Some small quality of life improvements could make this even better, like reducing the prices, being able to restore health or food by amounts lower then the maximum (in case you want to save some money for other things), being able to easily see which items you can craft, and what items you are missing from the recipes that you can't craft.

LD49 — Unstable

Brainxious by ancient-pixel 2021-10-08T03:30:15Z

Really cool game, fun and simple idea, short and well executed!

Lizzie's Lucky Potion Shop by celia14 2021-10-20T19:44:20Z

The art is really cute and the UI very clear and well designed. What did you use to make this, btw?

Commucity by Steing 2021-10-05T02:26:45Z

Checked it out on stream for a while. Sadly, there wasn't anyone else playing, so I don't know how well it plays with a lot of people on the game. Felt really responsive, graphics look great. I'm not really sure what each bar means and how it will be affected by each building, so adding more info on that would have been a great addition. Overall, an interesting experience, would love to see more stream games like this.

Dude Hardcore by jaaskeh 2021-10-05T02:18:27Z

Really fun! The story is hilarious, DUDE HARDCORE sure is HARDCORE! I'm not sure if it's intended, but you can ignore the spawns on the boss room and just focus the boss.

RadioFrog by Dylen 2021-10-05T02:23:24Z

Art is really cute, and exploding is really fun. Wasn't too sure about where to go. You can stand on top of the enemies and fly, I guess that wasn't intended but I had a lot of fun doing it :P

Watch your step by Haematite 2021-10-08T20:08:23Z

This is a cool idea. Maybe a bit too easy and lacks some more content. Made it to floor 5 and felt like I could keep playing endlessly. Overall, well executed and fun to explore!

Stable Inc. by CorbenG 2021-10-05T14:53:00Z

Really like the idea of having a pdf on the side to know what to do, feels like a mix between Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes and Don't Touch Anything. The third level was really overwhelming, but in a fun way. Hearing the beeps get faster and faster made me pretty nervous.

Also, we also made a game called Stable Inc for this jam :P

Giggly Goo by MsCarrotCake 2021-10-05T19:02:40Z

This is like a cuter version of Tetris, love the graphics and the story! Would have liked to see some more variations over the regular Tetris gameplay + the anger mechanic.

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Flood Runner by MKnooihuisen 2022-04-13T06:01:34Z

The concept is really cool, I got a few times to the box maze, where I think you need to get a box to the other side of the fence to climb the ladder, but couldn't make it. Also, I had a lot of fun trying to optimize my route there skipping some boxes and jumping over the walls to go faster.

With some improvements on the controls (they feel too slippery) and the camera (moves too fast and it's hard to control) I think this would be a lot more fun.

Good job!

I Wanted A new Tower Defense Game by Lerc 2022-04-13T04:10:30Z

Really solid TD game. The only things I would have liked are tooltips inside the game (I forgot what some towers did so I had to read the start screen again) and some music/sfx. Otherwise, really balanced, and the speed control is much appreciated. Good job!

Nuclear Arms 8.5er: Skeleton Survivor by Logicon211 2022-04-12T07:58:17Z

Really solid entry. Game length was great, not too short, and any longer than that would have made it very repetitive. The story was funny. Gameplay felt great. I would have liked to have more weapon variations and bigger differences to Vampire Survivors.

Another suggestion: having both flat upgrades (+1) and percentage upgrades (+10%) without having the base values for the abilities shown makes it impossible to know which one is better.

Overall, really enjoyed it. Would play again if you add more content at some point.

ZombieDefense by japes 2022-04-18T03:30:33Z

Pretty cool, I survived 9 nights. Got pretty unlucky with getting new survivors :/

Time, Commander? by Jesús González 2022-04-11T21:38:29Z

Pretty cool. I played for a few minutes wondering what the game had to do with the theme, and then I died and saw the rewind mechanic. I think it's a great idea, and I feel like it could lead to a really strategic game if you implement more mechanics that play well with it. The graphics are also really appropriate, making it clear to distinguish everything.

Now, the parts that I didn't like / feel like could be improved upon:

- The game feels too slow. Having the tank stop completely for a few seconds to change course feels bad. Same thing with aiming. - I don't know exactly where I'm aiming. Some sort of visual indication of the path that a bullet would take if I shoot would be nice. - The hitboxes of the enemies are too small. This is a bit of nitpicking, but there were several times where my bulled visually touched an enemy tank, but the hit didn't register.

Try Again by Flaterectomy 2022-04-13T20:38:30Z

I really enjoyed the story. Great music too. The font colors could have been better (specially the black one).

Peace Council by guoboism 2022-04-09T06:59:47Z

It was a bit difficult to understand at the beginning since it's very complex, but after a few minutes I got a good idea of how to play. More work into the UI would have made it even better, but even as it is I think it's really interesting. Good job!

Tree Protector by dusho 2022-04-06T05:45:00Z

Game looks great, and the squirrel is really cute! Sadly it's a bit hard to aim and sometimes it feels like the projectiles go right through the enemies.

Too Close by Webox 2022-04-05T20:30:03Z

Really well done! The only critic I have is that it gets a bit repetitive after a while because the rooms repeat and the difficulty doesn't increase. Also sometimes the map moves when you are activating an ability so you place it on the wrong place.

Halberd by Ayced 2022-04-13T05:54:08Z

Amazing work! This is probably the game I enjoyed playing the most so far this LD.

The UI/UX work is great. The tutorial at the beginning was well designed, and all the little tooltips for what key to press for the hook and interacting was appreciated. The checkpoint before climbing the wall at the beginning showing the castle at the other side of the water helped establish what the objective was in an immersive way.

The game was long enough to show all it's mechanics and short enough to not get boring.

Graphics, while simple, maintained a consistent style for the scenario, objects and enemies.

The boss was awesome. It used the mechanics taught through the game in cool ways. The ending message saying you no longer respawn was a nice surprise, and helped tie the game to the theme (although loosely).

Now, some things I find flawed:

The grapple hook tutorial wasn't clear enough. The glowing orb helped, but it took a while for me to rotate the camera up to see the ledge.

The combat felt too simple and slow. The two attacks felt too similar and there wasn't enough feedback when damaging the enemies/getting damaged.

I didn't understand the environmental puzzle at first, and when I solved it by accident and tried to figure it out, I noticed the colors. Having the entire blocks be colored instead of just the tiny strip at the top and using a more saturated color for the orbs would have helped notice that sooner.

Fighting the endless army felt epic at first, but after a few minutes of fighting and barely loosing any life it got boring. In the end I just stayed still until I died.

The camera sensitivity was way too high.

With that said, congratulations. This is a 5/5 for me in most categories.

Shakhmaty by rodel77 2022-04-12T16:45:55Z

Really cute game, loved the graphic style and the music. I found a bug where none of the bishops where attacking me but I lost due to checkmate.

Moonshot by Diego Escalante 2022-04-18T03:36:43Z

Really cool. The graphics are amazing!

Mad Wizard's Attack by Fedora 2022-04-05T18:30:53Z

@xoreaxeax thanks! we wanted to prioritize having a good UI and tutorial.

@tieran @nick-saulnier @dusho Sorry about the difficulty :( We didn't have too much time left for balancing.

Mad Wizard's Attack by Fedora 2022-04-06T03:02:42Z

@fae-pdf

You're right, the Booster Towers aren't working properly. I'll look into fixing that bug since that's allowed on the jam rules.

I'm really sorry about the balancing issues, we only had like an hour to test for bugs and balance at the end, so we did our best with that little time. After playing for a while after submitting the game, I've come pretty much to the same conclusion as what you describe.

Anyways, thanks a lot for that detailed feedback, and for playing! We'll probably be releasing a post-jam version at some point.

Mad Wizard's Attack by Fedora 2022-04-11T21:17:00Z

@jesus-gonzalez Thanks for the feedback!

I didn't even think about Esc taking you out of fullscreen mode on the browser, we'll take it into account for next time.

About the performance issues, I know it has something to do with Godot Engine's WebAssembly export having some trouble when running in Chromium based browsers (which I didn't notice since I run Firefox :/ ). We'll also investigate if there's a way to fix this so it doesn't happen again next time.

Mad Wizard's Attack by Fedora 2022-04-15T21:45:37Z

@hmightypirate Thanks! Builidngs that gave active abilities were planned (including one that halved the attack force for some time, and one that doubled your resources production for some time), but we had to leave them outside the scope of the game due to not having enough time to implement them in the end :(

Never Alone by fachscahfttf 2022-04-09T07:07:05Z

I really like the idea of taking other players previous inputs and having them help you. The controls and game mechanics could be improved to have more variety and a better feeling (things like having the enemies have a spawn animation instead of just appearing on top of you, and having better movement options like a dash). Overall, I think it's well done and enjoyed trying to get a high score (although I never got over 13k :P)

WHEN NANA SAYS IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL by alyd asmar 2022-04-05T17:13:45Z

This was a cool experience. The rules implementation is really well thought, and the real-time aspect of it adds a lot of tension.

SHUTTLECOCK: ARMAGEDDON by Nick Saulnier 2022-04-05T17:23:13Z

I really liked it! The only critic is that it becomes a bit repetitive after a while, and tapping to hit the nuke very lightly several times is a better strategy than charging your bar in place to make it go really high. The story at the beginning was really neat!

48 Hours Later by x000000 2022-04-13T03:57:44Z

I liked the game. It's nice that you added randomly generated levels. I would have liked to have more tower options or tower upgrades.

Human Resource by Tieran 2022-04-06T03:14:38Z

First of all: Congratulations to those who started on game dev with this jam!

The game is really neat. The only complaints I have are that it seems to be too easy, and that it gets a bit repetitive after a while. In that regard, it's nice that the game has an end.

The music was really on point, but some sound effects would have improved the experience as well.

Hey, really cool game, reminds me of The Day of Sagittarius III. It's great that you have a tutorial like that to get the playing started since the game is pretty complex.

10 seconds to Spock you by Shigor 2022-10-19T18:58:33Z

Simple but interesting idea, good job! Would have loved some better indicators of when you're about to transform.

PARALLAND by UnidayStudio 2022-10-21T19:46:18Z

Short but nice game. The enemies don't seem to be working too well, since I bumped into then a few times but they didn't do any damage. Really cool to see you have developed your own engine!

Ten 'em up by Matoux42 2022-10-13T02:05:55Z

Hey, pretty cool game, gameplay feels great! Only criticism I have is that I would have liked the UI to be a bit easier to read to know when the barrel effects changed and which ones are positive.

10 Seconds Hero by Stefan0198 2022-10-18T21:09:08Z

Really cool experience, reminds me of Beat Saber! Two things that I found could be improved are: adding a sound effect when you hit the blocks/miss them, so that you receive some feedback, and smoothing the song transitions a bit so it's not that sudden.

Puzzle Clock by BackwardsCap 2022-10-17T15:27:28Z

Really well thought puzzle mechanics, I enjoyed it (although I got stuck on the 5th or 6th level, the one with the loop on the right :stuck_out_tongue: )

Town (町) by Fedora 2022-10-04T00:19:02Z

@rob6566 @nbumgardner @chevalbancal Thanks for playing, and for the feedback! We were really low on time at the end to playtest everything (we have a lot of different cards) and to do more balancing. We plan to release a new version fixing bugs soon.

Town (町) by Fedora 2022-10-04T23:00:59Z

@erlioniel Yup, we are big MTG fans (card games and board games in general, really), so this drew a lot of inspiration from that!

Perseverance by MrSamafu 2022-10-13T02:40:21Z

Hey, pretty cool concept, kind of like an escape room! I had some issues though, the character automatically moved to the bottom left even when I didn't press anything, which made it a lot more difficult. Also, the only room I couldn't solve was the keypad one, I clicked the buttons but nothing happened. Tried several times and then gave up :(

Dragua by Hawkin 2022-10-17T15:46:14Z

Really cool game! Lasted for 7 days before I got stuck far away from the fire without any teleport scrolls :( I felt like some items were more useful than others though: the teleport scroll and the scythe were powerful, while the land mine and the thing that rotates in place and damages nearby roots were kinda useless. The mood was great, with the introductory narration and music during gameplay really selling that whole "The world is ending" vibe. I'm not sure if I missed something or if there is no "every 10 seconds" theme on this one.

Overall, really enjoyed it. Congrats!

Sleight of Hand by elosociu 2022-10-18T21:00:31Z

Really cool game! We also made a card game this jam.

Dimension Rush by LunariiSXZ 2022-10-21T19:56:04Z

Really cool aesthetics, the controls feel a bit slippery. Took me 128s to beat it :)

Delta Shift by BaKo 2022-10-04T03:01:53Z

It looks really good, and the controls feel responsive. Was a bit sad that it only had a shot tutorial and one level though. The gravity mechanic is a bit disorienting at first, maybe making it a bit more smooth would have helped.

Black Zen White by BoOdbarbak 2022-10-18T15:28:07Z

I really liked the puzzles on this. The movement was bugged for me: the character was constantly moving slowly to the right even when I didn't press any buttons. This happened to me in another Unity game I played this jam, so it's maybe some bug with the movement code that happens only in Firefox? Anyways, great job, especially since this is your first game jam \o/

The Last Outpost by Joror 2023-01-23T23:51:44Z

The UI and tutorial are really well thought. Graphics are really clean so it's easy to understand what's going on. Overall, really nice entry!

Warden of the Woods by arzi 2023-01-12T05:25:21Z

A bit slow-paced, but the art and music were really nice!

Orchard Alchemy by caeonosphere 2023-01-11T06:03:53Z

Very fun and well thought game! Quite difficult also, but the mechanics are really well explained through the tutorial. Also really liked the simple art style and relaxing music.

Rainbow Souls by Fedora 2023-01-10T05:27:10Z

@la-bread Huh, that's weird, thanks for letting me know. Can you tell me what browser and operating system you are using, or if you did anything in particular for it to freeze so I can try reproducing the issue?

Carvest by feor 2023-01-10T06:45:40Z

Really cool submission! Enjoyed playing around in the level editor and watching the cars go crazy fast and then crash

THE HARVESTING by BorderDestroyer 2023-01-10T04:29:13Z

I really liked the graphics and animations on this game. The wind effect, screen warp and vignette also look really good. Just a small recomendation: keep your pixel scale consistent across the game. The pixels on the hearts look really big compared to some other things, which looks odd. Also would have liked some more variation on enemies, attacks and levels. The story was really good, I want to know what happened to the "thing" at the end :P

Harvestigator: An IRS Tax Auditing Game by crow_seeds 2023-01-10T06:21:36Z

Wow, this was amazing! Really gives Papers Please vibes, but also manages to distinguish itself from it. The voice acting was great, and the characters were really funny. It felt great to understand the rules on the last day and do it super quickly without having to keep looking at the instructions. No feedback on what to improve on this one, it was just perfect!

Chess The Second by aslan 2023-01-11T22:51:00Z

Really cool idea! The computer destroys me every time tho

Boxed In by BurnsDesigns 2023-01-13T17:40:07Z

That DVD logo is looking at me! Really cute and simple game. Really like the aesthetics.

Out Of Sight by Kizilejderha 2023-01-12T05:03:34Z

This game was really fun. Difficulty was on point, took about 10 tries until I finally beat it, and each time I was like "Next time I win, for sure". The graphics and music really add up to the mood.

CrapCirclz by Francois Dervaux 2023-01-13T00:17:08Z

Really good mood. The controls were a bit difficult to understand at the beginning.

Grim Harvester by RoxanneT 2023-01-10T05:10:21Z

Glad to see this was made using Godot. Nice little game, would have liked if it had a bit more content. Graphics are nice, but the grim reaper looks a bit weird rotating to follow the mouse cursor. Really cool that you left your source code as well.

Slime Farm by pinapl 2023-01-12T05:15:55Z

Cute slime farm meets stock market. Really nice to be done in just 12 hs!

Pretty wild but fun idea! I wish it had more levels and some sound effects to go with the hammer

Good work

Parcel Panic by kamekai 2023-05-05T22:22:04Z

It's nice to see some experimentation with LLMs on games. It's such a shame that you didn't get to implement the opponent in time :(

I'm not too good at Tetris and this seems like a harder version of it with the color restriction, so I ended up failing pretty quickly

Deliver Us From Evil by F1Krazy 2023-05-13T19:31:42Z

deliverusfromevil.PNG

Really cool little platformer game. I ran into a few bugs like being able to walk through walls, and the performance degraded on the web version as the levels went on. The graphics and music are cute.

Heart-Warming Deliveries by Joscco 2023-05-08T16:23:21Z

Lovely puzzle game! Took me a while to figure out on level 4 that I didn't need to deliver the last sushi. Maybe having a level that exclusively teaches that would have been good. UI work and music are amazing

Fission Fight by Jahwffrey 2023-05-15T04:14:06Z

Super creative, those characters remind me of the old Mortal Kombat games, but jankier and a lot funnier.

Really good job!

Final Delivery by PatateNouille 2023-05-06T00:12:25Z

Wow, really nice game. I noticed the Terminator reference at the beginning, but didn't imagine it was going to end that way at all

It was pretty fun getting to know each person in the building and solve their problems. The only thing I would have liked was subtitles for the conversations, since it was a bit hard for me to understand what they were saying since I'm not a native English speaker.

FISH FRESH delivery by Oleg Bone 2023-05-08T16:13:19Z

Nice puzzle game. Would have liked more mechanics as the levels go on to make it more interesting and challenging. Art and music are on point, really cute. Good work!

Feathered Envoys by chromaticGray 2023-05-13T19:21:28Z

Really cool game! At the end I was stuck with just 1 place left to discover but I didn't get an option that could do that for like 20 days straight  The pigeons art and names were really nice, made me feel attached to them.

Little Oni by chris1919 2023-05-14T17:12:26Z

Wow! Amazing game! The concept, the art, the music, everything was absolutely fantastic. The ending was super wholesome too. Good job!

🚀  Galactic delivery : Starvesters2D by z0rg 2023-05-03T01:44:29Z

Really neat game, music and graphics really contributed to make the game feel special. Kind of reminded me to Outer Wilds in some way. Would have liked it to be a bit longer and with more things to do.

Porcelanius was my favorite planet, with all the worm-like things popping in the foreground. Nice idea to have a photo of the team at the end. We should start doing that for our games as well.

By the way, we had the same issue with Godot 4 C# and Web exports, good thing I tried to do a web build a few days before the jam and noticed the lack of support, and ended up using Godot 3 instead. Your transpiler tool would have been really useful

Diseased Dirigible by Falk Hoeppner 2023-05-03T01:58:39Z

Really cool game, loved the multi-tasking aspect of it. Took me a while to figure out the cockroach showed you how much you were steering. After that it got a lot easier.

Really simple but polished game. UI work was great.
