Amazing work! This is probably the game I enjoyed playing the most so far this LD.
The UI/UX work is great. The tutorial at the beginning was well designed, and all the little tooltips for what key to press for the hook and interacting was appreciated. The checkpoint before climbing the wall at the beginning showing the castle at the other side of the water helped establish what the objective was in an immersive way.
The game was long enough to show all it's mechanics and short enough to not get boring.
Graphics, while simple, maintained a consistent style for the scenario, objects and enemies.
The boss was awesome. It used the mechanics taught through the game in cool ways. The ending message saying you no longer respawn was a nice surprise, and helped tie the game to the theme (although loosely).
Now, some things I find flawed:
The grapple hook tutorial wasn't clear enough. The glowing orb helped, but it took a while for me to rotate the camera up to see the ledge.
The combat felt too simple and slow. The two attacks felt too similar and there wasn't enough feedback when damaging the enemies/getting damaged.
I didn't understand the environmental puzzle at first, and when I solved it by accident and tried to figure it out, I noticed the colors. Having the entire blocks be colored instead of just the tiny strip at the top and using a more saturated color for the orbs would have helped notice that sooner.
Fighting the endless army felt epic at first, but after a few minutes of fighting and barely loosing any life it got boring. In the end I just stayed still until I died.
The camera sensitivity was way too high.
With that said, congratulations. This is a 5/5 for me in most categories.
